Rocky had his first lion cut about eight years ago and if he could talk, he would tell me he wants them more often. He always comes home from his grooming appointment home looking proud and happy with his head held high and prancing around the house. He really enjoys the relief and comfort from his huge coat of fur, especially during the summer. And the neighborhood cats are totally jealous of his haircut. Rocky had his first lion cut about eight years ago and if he could talk, he would tell me he wants them more often. We took in our golden retriever who was in desperate need of a cut, and they did a fantastic job! Not only did our Charlie look beautiful, she also looked younger with the perfect cut tailored to her breed, hair and body. On top of that she was napping on a cozy bed when I picked her up; she was so comfy and not in any hurry to go home. It's obvious she was treated with much love. We recently moved to the area and found this place. Roni was amazing. We have an American Eskimo and he can be growly and nippy making it difficult to get him groomed, but Roni was able to get the job done and our dog looks better than he ever has after a grooming. It had been awhile since he had been groomed since we were dealing with the move and a baby under 1, but Roni took the time and was very thorough. I have been coming here for a year now. They give great professional service. They talk to my dog, give her kisses, and give her treats while they groom her. They are loving towards their little clients. They make sure your dog is loved and comfortable. I am a last minute person which means they would squeeze me in for a service the same day! They always respond to text messages quickly and phone calls all morning/evening. There's no one else I would trust my dog with. The owner may come off strict (if your pet is matted intensively , has ear infections, flea infestation, and or safety concerns) but she deeply cares for your pets health and will update you for safety reasons. She gives great recommendations to keep your pet healthy. She also takes pride in her work. Their prices are cheap and affordable. 10/10. We are dog sitting our daughter's Big Lab while they are out of town for a few days. Buddy has had skin issues and on special medication Px by Vet. He was constantly scratching and miserable, unable to get comfortable. Almost lethargic with no energy and not wanting to play. We had heard about Ronnie at Cut Above and took him in. After their specialized treatment of bathing and deep cleaning. Buddy is a NEW DOG. He wants to run with our other dogs and chase the toys. The price was very reasonable. Our puppy (Maltipoo mix) received a puppy cut from A Cut Above. We are extremely satisfied! He received a spa treatment & we were able to tell a difference in his hair texture immediately. I was really nervous about bringing my four-year-old cat to the groomers because he had never been before and he was very shy around humans, but we had a great experience with Roni the owner of Cut Above Pet Salon! She explained the process and the options and personally took care of my big guy! She was able to give him the "lions cut" to relieve Ernesto of his knots and matted areas and even trimmed his nails. This pet salon is amazing. I have been taking my adorable little belle here since she was a tiny puppy. I never felt any concerns when I dropped her off. They were loving and kind to my belle. Roni the owner is great she always fits us in even if it's last minute. Belle's last visit was with Gabrielle and she did a fantastic job. She even sent a pic when done. I've been taking my wiener dog to Roni at A Cut Above Pet Salon, monthly for 10 plus years. Roni and her staff care for my Shotzie and I feel like he is in safe hands and that they love him like their own. They know him by name and are always happy to see him. During Covid I am able to stay in my car for drop off and pick up. They come to my car and pick him up wearing masks and disposable gloves. I feel good leaving him there. When I pick him up he smells great, is happy, has nicely trimmed nails and looks so handsome. They even give him a little holiday scarf of the month. We greatly appreciate the service provided by this pet salon. We have a long haired, medium sized dog that we have been bringing here EVERY MONTH for a few years and the service is always great. More important than that however, we feel comfortable leaving our dog here for his grooming. He always comes back happy with a doggy smile and a bandana around his neck, clean and groomed as can be. Established in 1993.

I was trained by a gentleman who showed champion standard poodle and maltese, so I had the privilege of learning my trade on show dogs in full coat. This instilled in me the philosophy that hair is beautiful and I strive to create healthy skin and coat on every pet as well as a style that compliments each unique animal. I hire only the most qualified bathers and groomers with emphasis on gentleness and a desire to bond with your pet. I love my job and I love the pets I am privileged to groom and care for. My goal is that every pet would love to be groomed as much as you love your spa days.

Roni Koepp has been grooming and caring for pets since 1993 she has worked at 2vet offices grooming and assisting on occasion when needed during birthing process for cats and dogs she is founder of Animal Wellness Rescue Inc a nonprofit 501c3 that's main goal is to help the helpless animal that has no voice . Bring homeless animals into a safe environment so they can heal get well and find permanent loving homes

When I called to get the same reservation at the La Verne location they were not accommodating and asked me to get my cat medicated before coming due to his fear of water (ouch) and would not give him a cut without it. For that reason even though I live 5 minutes away I continue to make the drive down now to Arcadia and it's worth it. Would not recommend this location.

They take my requests for his "aesthetic" and deliver as best they can. Results are usually right on or close enough. I've never been disappointed. - They are kind, the shop has a calm to it that is really nice. - Their schedule is smart! They're open Weds-Sun - what a great option for working pet parents!! This is just one example of the customer service they provide. - The front desk is great with scheduling for me. They respond to texts, send out automated reminders, and they provide the kind of flexibility I need when juggling a challenging schedule.

We made sure to put him through proper training before even considering grooming, and once we felt confident in his progress, we started looking for a groomer in the area. It was definitely challenging. Many places were hesitant to take him because of his background. When I reached out to All About Paws Pet Spa and explained his situation, they didn't hesitate at all. From the start, they were incredibly understanding and patient with Finn. Even on days when he can be a bit difficult, they continue to work with him with such care and professionalism. The vet believes it was from excessive trauma. My other dog looked very stressed as well. The receptionist at the groomer implied I dropped off my dog with damaged eyes which is silly. I would never. We did get a call from their HR department but have NOT heard back since. We racked up 100's of dollars in vet bills. I don't know if that same groomer is still there. A good groomer should be able to identify stressed dogs and act accordingly. My poor dogs have been super stressed since the incident. This will likely take them time to recover from.

The most we've ever had to wait is about 15 to 20 minutes. Today, was no different, walked in at 10:15a, let them know that we needed a nail trim, the associate said that the earliest they can get us in was not till 12 PM without an appointment. An appointment? I explained to them that in the five years we've been going to them for nail grinds (which is pretty frequent) we've never had to make an appointment. That's when she said that making appointment has always been in place. So, I walked out, came over to The Good Dog. The General Manager greeted us, even while working with another customer. Listening how he handled the other two customers in front of us (who appeared to be regulars) set the tone that this is a friendly place that we want to be a part of. You know, it's like "Cheers," you wanna go where everyone knows your name! Well, they were able to get us in right away. They advised we typically do not need to make an appointment for nail grind, but to simply call up to make sure they are not busy at the moment, otherwise can get in quickly. I think that's reasonable, fair enough AND smart! "Thanks, Good Dog!"

I chose not to continue patronage, but the offer and continued open communication was very appreciated. Original Review: This is the first time I've been to this location and decided to go here due to the large number of good reviews. They were able to fit my appointment in very last minute, less than 24hrs notice, super friendly staff, and lots of merchandise. Also great cut options avaliable for someone new, trying to figure out what a new groomer can do with a new client. Asked them to brush his teeth and grind his nails, to which they accomplished (at least his breath smells better). With that said, I was told they would contact me 20 minutes before he's ready for pickup, they did not. They messaged me when he was done. No big deal. When I picked him up, immediately noticed the uneven cut job. As we're driving home, noticed A BUNCH of dirt left in his coat. Makes me question if they bathed him, and if they did, they didnt do a good thorough job. Also started to notice the uneven cut throughout his body, from his stomach where they left bunches of fur, to his back, which seemed as though they used two sizes for razors. They cut him (most likely by accident) but just reinforces my suspicion that they rushed through his entire "grooming". For the $100 package, counting $15 for dental/nail grinding, I can't say I'm not disappointed. Unfortunately, will not be coming back. Sincerely disappointed :( I will have to bathe him again, give him a complete haircut, and finish areas they didnt even attempt too, such as the hair under his nose going into his mouth.

Taking Tucker to the groomer after that was a terrible experience for him. After a few months of grooming at Pawsh pets, by Tucker LOVES coming now! He is treated like a King. He comes home soooo happy and prances around for a couple of days. He is a bloodhound so his coat is very thick and difficult but he comes home and says nice and soft for two weeks! I cannot recommend this pet salon enough!

I've been coming to A Cut Above for my grooming for the past couple years and I have been very satisfied with the quality of my spa days. Excellent shaving of my tummy, nail clipping, defleaing, bath time, and my favorite part, the bow at the end of my appointment. Ronnie does an incredible job taking care of all my fur. This is my last review that I'll be writing for San Dimas Animal Hospital because my last…read moreexperience with them was just so unfair, I can't fathom taking my other pet here. I had written a review a few months ago for the front staff authorizing charges to my account without my permission and since then, they've started going through the process of taking signatures for transactions, so I'm happy they used my review for better service. Again, Dr. Singh is amazing. Dr. Delgado kept insisting for the urinalysis to get any form of medication and the front staff really has to be more organized when it comes to discharging with medications. --- I am really sad how unfair it was that my pet's treatment got dismissed even when I had asked for some form of antibiotics. My pet, 20.5 years at the time, started urinating blood, so on Thursday, 2/12, I had brought him in hoping that he can get antibiotics for this UTI that he had. With symptoms of hematuria and consistent small amounts of urine, I hoped to get some form of antibiotics or medication to ease his discomfort. Unfortunately, since he wasn't able to hold in his urine, they weren't able to get enough for a urinalysis and they had sent him home and told me to contact them the next day if he's still urinating blood. My sister picked up my pet Thursday evening, so I feel like they were in a rush just to get out of there instead of ensuring that my sister went home with everything she was supposed to. Called them Friday morning and said he was still urinating blood, and they said to monitor him and if he's still urinating blood, to bring him Saturday for a urinalysis. I contacted them again Friday evening with photographs stating that he's still urinating blood and they said I can bring him in for a tech appointment Saturday morning. My brother brings in my pet Saturday (2/14) morning, and they comped the urinalysis which was nice. I had asked my brother if they sent him home with antibiotics but they said that they need the urinalysis results before prescribing anything and since they're closed on Sundays, they would contact me on Monday. I called them around 9AM on Monday (2/16), and they said that they got the urinalysis results but had to wait for the doctor to have time to talk about the results with me. By this time, my pet was not eating, drinking or walking. I know I should have taken him to the ER but given his age, I didn't want to stress him out and was hoping that he would be interested enough in food by the time they gave me the medication. The doctor ends up calling me around 2PM and stated that he did have some form of UTI (I knew this already..) and that he will be sent home with amoxicillin and that it would be available for pickup within the hour and that the gabapentin prescribed to him should help with the pain as well. I drive over to the hospital an hour later and the staff informs me that I will be picking up amoxicillin (antibiotics) and I inquire about the gabapentin (pain medication) that the doctor brought up during our phone call. The staff seemed confused and they then asked me "Oh, you didn't get it on Thursday?" Uh, no I didn't get it on Thursday. This is why I had inquired about it? I saw on my previous invoices that I had gotten charged for the Gabapentin on 2/12 and I'm really angered that my pet was in pain for 5 days. And even when I had my brother bring my pet in on that Saturday (2/14), that they couldn't just double check anything. I know it's partially my fault for not making sure, but I honestly thought that they had given my pet a gabapentin shot but to find out he was supposed to be sent home with the pain medication instead... it's just really flabbergasting. I gave my pet the gabapentin and hoped that it would help subside any pain my pet had so he can eat, but an hour passed.. then 2 hours passed.. and my pet unfortunately was declining.. He wasn't interested in eating his favorite treats (and the amoxicillin is supposed to be given with food), so I took him to ER and unfortunately, had to choose humane euthanasia due to the extent of how badly he declined. I'm so upset with how this was handled. I don't understand why my pet had to suffer his last few days of his life because he wasn't sent home with pain medication. I also don't understand why they couldn't just give me the amoxicillin even though it was a possibility that it may NOT have been a UTI but at least given it to me to make sure he didn't worsen. I know my previous review of the unauthorized CareCredit charges may have made me seem like a difficult client, but take it out on me, not on the care of my pet. I feel like he would still be here if I was just given the gabapentin on the correct day or the amoxicillin as a "just in case" prescription but he didn't get any despite me asking about the antibiotics and the last few days of his life was filled with discomfort and a veterinary hospital that kept dismissing my hopes for care for my pet.
