I decided to come in for lunch. I'm glad I looked them up. The place was very clean, and the people who worked here were friendly. The buffet was delicious. Lots and lots of choices. Different type of paneers, (I especially liked the palak paneer, and they had a few curries as well. They had goat curry on a lunch buffet. The sauce was rich, and the goat was fall off the bone tender. They had different type of rice dishes. And the tandoori chicken was moist, tender, and so delicious. For dessert, they had gulab jamun, which are like donut holes, dipped in a syrup with Indian flavors. I'm not sure what they used, but they were so good. They also had a mango pudding, and you could definitely taste a mangoes, and it was not overly sweet. Everything on the buffet was labeled, so you knew what you were getting Nothing was overly spicy. I definitely knew that the spice was there, but nothing blew my palette out. My spice level is medium, and this was well within that. Lunch and a soda were only around 20 bucks. An amazing price for so much good food. I'll be back for that great buffet. Thanks.

Portion size is good for the price (~$20 after tax), for one person it could probably run 2-3 meals. Service was nice too so I will give this place another try sometime.

The food is consistently delicious, the staff is warm and welcoming, and we always enjoy chatting with Janish. The restaurant is clean, inviting, and has a great atmosphere. We've tried the chicken wings, butter chicken, paneer, pizza, and breadsticks, and everything has been flavorful and well prepared. The food is satisfying without feeling heavy or greasy. My husband also loves their great selection of beers on tap, and it's a bonus that they offer hard liquor as well. They also have TVs throughout the restaurant, making it a great place to catch a game or watch the news while you enjoy your meal. I originally went just for the samosas, but I ended up ordering garlic naan and fish pakoras too. The service was fantastic, the restaurant was clean, and my samosa craving was definitely satisfied! The garlic naan was fresh and flavorful, and the fish pakoras were crispy and delicious. It's always nice to discover another great spot closer to home. I'm happy to know I have another option for those days when I don't feel like making the longer drive. I'll definitely be back!

I ordered food to go, to bring it back to my mother-in-law's and feed us all. Personally I got the non-vegetarian Thali Dinner... it was fantastic! I received more food that I could have imagined for $22, and among it all was a lamb samosa that I can only describe as my favorite new comfort food I never knew I longed for. I've never had one, not sure I would have ordered one had it not come with the dinner, and can't explain the favor other than to say iykyk. And I will go back here just for them alone. It tastes like being welcomed home. But also the curry was delicious. My kids got their own butter chicken and finished mine too. And to top it all off the kheer (rice pudding) was a perfect compliment to ensure I could eat no more. While my wife and I waited (we ordered there) we were offered water, and given little glasses of their mango lassi (a lovely and hospitable gesture that made us hope the food was good so we wanted to come back all the more). We've already talked about taking the family there next time, because it feels like a place that is glad you've come, and the food is hella good!

Hmmmm. Wanted to like this place. I try to support just about any restaurant offering a buffet,…read moreespecially South Asian restaurants. The Good: - The price is definitely on the more reasonable side. - The decor is very nice and clean. - The one waiter was very pleasant and attentive (I'm thinking maybe it is the owner). The Not-So-Great: - Most of the flavors of the food are off. The Aloo Matar was bland. The Chicken Korma was way heavy on the cardamom. The Palak Paneer was oddly sweet. The Dal Makhani was crunchy and undercooked. The Tandoori Chicken was dry and underseasoned. The chili cauliflower was too mushy and sweet. There was a strange item like an inverted grilled cheese sandwich with a tomato soup filling? Didn't quite know what to make of that. The rice, veggie spring rolls and naan were passable. - The music streaming from the TV was aggressive and distracting since the signal kept going out. It would go from loud and clamorous to dead silent frequently. There were barely any customers there which is never a good sign. I'm not feeling very positive about this place staying in business for very long. I'll just say that there's way better competition out there to make it unlikely I'll return. I hope they figure out a better formula.

Was looking for lunch in the area and saw a Fatburger sign at a pizza place. Remembering my SoCal…read moreroots that seemed like a good option. However, the restaurant is being renovated and they were not yet serving Fatburgers and so I left - disappointed and hungry. As I was about to get in my car, I spied this restaurant next door. I had long seen it but never stopped. It beckoned me and I went in. The space was dived into a rather large dining room and a to go ordering space. There was one other patron in the restaurant and I learned it was his first time too. His food smelled so good as it was brought to him sizzling on a platter. I ordered the Chicken Saag and added Thali style, which added bread, salad, and soup to the entree. Good is prepared to order which was lovely. My waiter was attentive and offered water multiple times before I got my meal. He did not speak much English as I learned as I tried to get more ice in my water. He persevered and figured it out! My food arrived smelling and looking good. I love spinach and enjoy it cooked this way. There was a generous amount of very tender chicken pieces mixed in with the spinach. The seasoning was mildly seasoned which allowed my palate to enjoy each distinctive flavor. The vegetable curry was also tasty - cauliflower, carrots, green beans and a variety of mild herbs and seasonings. I also enjoyed the dal - again no bold flavors - but tasty and satisfying. The rice was fluffy and plentiful - more than enough fur the accompanying components of the meal. The highlight of the Thali was the most delicious Naan I've had in a long time. There were two perfect slices with ghee spread on top. I made an Indian "taco" with one of the slices and the chicken saag and a bit of the coconut rice pudding dessert. Most enjoyable bite! As usual, I was unable to eat it all and boxed the remains for dinner later. All the while, there were Asian-influenced music videos playing expressing a meditative theme. I sincerely recommend this restaurant - nice atmosphere, good food, wonderful service. I continue my quest to support local businesses whenever possible and encourage you all to do the same.

I decided to order the lunch special with Chef's special chicken curry . he asked what my spice level, and I said not too much. Medium to mild. Well obviously, there was a loss in translation somewhere, because the curry was pretty spicy. Right up to the very edge of what I can handle for spicy. There was a salad that was basically onions and tomatoes, the tomatoes helped cut down the spice a little bit. It tasted OK, it was just way too hot. It came with two sides, which were good, as well as naan, and basmati rice, which I love. The price was reasonable. I will come back again, just the next time I will be absolutely sure to ask for the mild. Thank you.

What a wonderful surprise!…read more I was in the mood for kebabs and headed to my usual spot, only to find it closed. Rather than give up, I decided to try this Afghan restaurant--and I am so glad I did! The lamb kebab was absolutely outstanding: tender, flavorful, and packed with spices that complemented the meat perfectly. Best of all, it wasn't overly salty, which allowed all of the rich flavors to shine through. The rice was equally impressive--perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and delicious enough to enjoy all by itself. In fact, the food was so good that I've already ordered it twice! When I got home, I shared some with my parents. After just one taste, they immediately put away the dinner they had planned to make and asked for the restaurant's address. Before long, I was ordering delivery for them too. That's how good it is. It's not often that I discover a new favorite restaurant, but this place has absolutely earned that distinction. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful Afghan cuisine, I highly recommend giving them a try. You may find yourself becoming a regular just like I plan to be! Thank you for such a wonderful meal. I'll definitely be back.

The flavor was enhanced by the meat being cooked on the bone and some of the bones were split which enabled the marrow to enrich the flavor even more. The portion was more than ample and I shall enjoy another meal as a result. I will simmer the meat longer to complete tenderizing it. I first encountered Afghan cuisine some 20 years ago when I was privileged to work with resettling Afghani people in St Louis, MO. I have eaten at many Afghan restaurants since then and have enjoyed the food very much. However, of all the restaurants and homes that I've eaten in, I have found that I do not enjoy the sauces offers here. There is no true "white" sauce that I've eaten elsewhere and all of the sauces are watery instead of thick. Perhaps it is a regional preference. Also, I wish they would consider adding a half naan/half rice option to the place instead of rice OR naan. The rice, by the way is absolutely DELICIOUS I also enjoy the complimentary green or milk tea but would appreciate a cooler of water to be dispensed in the same area. I enjoy both the food ambience in this casual spot. I will continue to return, as I work my way through their menu.
