Soooo we landed in Seattle supper hungry and eager to eat. We stumbled upon this place and decided to head over. We walked in and Elizabeth at the bar greeted us with some light humor and we headed to the bar to eat. We ordered drinks and the meat lovers pizza. It took a minute to come out (and maybe it felt this way because I felt like I was starving) but it was so good. I am only here for a week but I really want to go back. For awareness, this place is classified as a bar so it is always 21+

Amazing pizza. Services were excellent!!! Eating pizza and watching the first baseball game of the season. Can't get better than that. Everyone was enjoying the money. Once again phenomenal!!!! Support local businesses. Great place to hang out and watch a game or hang out with friends.

Honestly the best mini wings I've had in a long time. Perfection. Lol

The pizza is good, but everything else about my experiences has failed me. Now back to the pizza review. Out of all the a pizza marts, these guys make it the best if not top 3. Some times, The vibe here is also a bit better than the other locations I've been to also. The worst part about the pizza experience is the pizza by the slice. At the other locations I've never had a problem walking in and getting a slice or two and drinks with friends. Literally every time I've come here for a slice it's always the wrong time or they just flat out don't have it. Even when I come back at the time they tell me they seem to be all out or on their last few dried up mangled pieces. Literally my favorite part about visiting any other a pizza mart has been the ability to just come get a decent slice and a drink with friends. And I've yet to be able to do this at this location. With that said, I think it's the service. I can't think of a time coming when I've been happy with the service or even the simple conversations had with staff. It gets me no where and zero slices of pizza in the last 2 years of trying. The interior set up fine, but never clean enough for my likings. Feels like a dive bar that serves pizza. Luckily it's in a cool part of town and the windows allow you to look out into the surrounding belltown neighbor hood which is pretty cool.

Came here on a Monday for their weekly trivia night for the first time and it was a great experience! It's a smaller bar type establishment, but the bartender was incredibly nice. I ordered my food at the bar, and tender told me to sit down and he'd bring me my food. It took maybe 10-15 min for the pizza to come out but it was delicious! Hot and really flavorful. I also ended up getting a cider on tap and it was good and dry as described. Will likely be back especially for take out or trivia in the future!

This was a wonderful bar with good atmosphere, regulars and team. It was only a few blocks from our hotel and both my wife and I wanted some pizza. Multiple people told us to come here. The staff here was nice and attentive to our needs. There were not many people there when we got in but as we left you can see the locals (and tourists) starting to make their way in. This is not a pizza place, it is a bar and did not expect too much but.... The pizza was a tasty thin crust pizza with lots of sauce and cheese and definitely tasty. We went with a plain cheese and enjoyed it. SImple and tasty... a good mix. This shop was definitely worth the few block walk we took to get here. I am sure that it would be fun to come here when the place is packed and filled with electricity, but that will have to be next time. You treated the New Yorkers well. KUDO's to the team at 'A Pizza Mart.'

Asked by a reporter why he wanted to climb Mount Everest, George Leigh Mallory replied "because it is there". Similarly, and with all due respect, one doesn't go to any of the A Pizza Mart locations for the sublime flavor palettes of their localvore artisanal pizza varieties. Those leaving low reviews are completely missing the point. Visit because it's there, all the way to 2 am. In a city foodscape that closes down frightfully early, A Pizza Mart provides an oasis of warm food, great music, for separate cheesy video streams, friendly if reserved staff, and the cheery buzz of various socioeconomic classes reveling in the shared not of late night dining. We arrived after the trek from the airport, after the hotel check-in dance, hungry in a mostly shuttered city. Two steps in we knew this would salvage the evening. A flannel-clad, heavily bearded bartender walked is through our choices of pizza slices: 1. Pepperoni 2. Meat lovers 3. Veggie 4. Ham and pineapple We tried several slices of the first three. Each had a very distinct flavor, was confidently baked, and was large. Satisfying. The menu is huge, including chicken parmesan sandwiches and calzones. Locals have a long way to go to exhaust this menu. The food, the vibe, the buzz, the music, the football game alongside the animal videos and the MTV-like channel, and the joy of the bartender had us smiling all the way back to the hotel. Does this pizza rival those offered by culinary superstars or what's on offer on New York or Rome? Of course not, but that's not the point. Enjoy! We did!

Pepperoni. Sausage. Black olives. Medium 3-Topping Pizza Special $18.99

For a bar pizza, this was actually pretty good. Came really quick, delivered was only $2.

Tucked down the alley by the gum wall, it's a great option for wood fired pizzas. The space is fairly small and very low-lit, but thriving with energy. Our service was fantastic, drinks were good, but besides the pizza the food was pretty hit or miss. We had a table of 4 and we kept the table full the entire time. We started off with a salad, spicy mac n cheese, cheese sticks, and Brie and cheese. Salad was light and refreshing. The cheese sticks were pretty normal, but also good. The spicy mac n cheese to me had zero spice. Just some mac in a cast iron pan. The apple and Brie had a nice presentation but the smallest amount of Brie possible(my picture was too blurry to post). The Broccolini I am not sure how it was defined as broccolini because the 5 pieces that came on the plate were huge. While packed with flavors of lemon and Parmesan they had a very tree like feel and were a bit on the harder side. The El Diablo pizza, to be straight forward was by far the best part of the stop. The crust could have been a little more well done, but that's just me splitting hairs. I ate more of that than anyone else. Probably could have finished it myself if I hadn't stopped for a lobster roll beforehand. Either way, great service, good drinks and legit pizzas!

If that line is intimidating or wet (think rain!) then duck inside to Pizza and Pasta Bar for a delicious meal. While there we met the owners Bruno and Goli who were helping out behind the counter. They are the nicest people ever! So friendly and accommodating and always smiling. Their pride in their restaurant really shows in their care of the food and customers. I had the infamous meatball sandwich and my wife had the chicken carbonara. They gave us each a slice of their pizza for free as they had a bit extra from one that just came out of the oven. The food was prepared in front of you which is always interesting to watch and the charming brick pizza oven was directly in front of us so we could watch that process as well. Pretty cool. There are a wide variety of pizzas and pastas, desserts and drinks (alcohol too!) available on the menu. We ate at at the bar and had a wonderful conversation with the owners as they bustled about in the open cooking area. I enjoyed my meatball sandwich which had great crunchy crusty bread that held in the contents of melted cheese, red sauce and meatballs. A great choice to get when there. My wife liked her chicken carbonara and as the portion was pretty large, we were able to take some home for later. Extra yummy for me (ha ha)! The complimentary pizza slices were a hit for us as well. Napoli style with thin crust and flavorful toppings. We found out that Goli created the restaurant's design with the face of a woman that looks a lot like Venus in "The Birth of Venus" painting by Botticelli in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence Italy (just sayin'). In a medium nonstick pan, large tong full of wet noodles, one ladle of white sauce, toss them together. Boiled chicken pieces, BOILED chicken tossed into the pan. No seasoning or shredded cheese, or Italian seasoning. Served in a plastic to go container that cost 1.85 extra bc it was to go since they wouldn't allow us to sit w outside food. Although it was empty and we weren't taking anyone else's table. The place is clean. And bright. I also paid for the container for my bread. The food was bland and boiled chicken just made it worse.

We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

Oh well, I guess I will be back! The woman heated up my slice and after a few minutes, it was ready. I took my slice and went to sit outside near Pioneer Square so I could be outside and people watch. Pizza was tasty and solid, but the crust was too dry. I have a feeling the slice wasnt the most fresh, so thats why the crust was a bit dry. But, if you know me, I do jot like soggy pizza (I mean - who does??), so a bit drier isn't too big an issue. The rest of the slice was good. Slice of pizza and a diet coke came to close to $9. Gosh things are so expensive now. They do have a special of 2 slices for $8.99 but I couldnt eat two slices. Unfortunately, the experience is consistently dampened by one of weekend bartenders. As others have mentioned, it's that taller bartender (Alex?) who repeatedly comes across as arrogant and dismissive to us; a less than desirable character trait for a bartender. It's such a pity because that is the sole reason we now lead our groups to spend their money and patronize other establishments instead. Recently we did give Diller another try, but sadly it's the same story and thus this feedback. Hospitality makes a HUGE difference. Bartending isn't just about making a good drink and expecting tips. As someone who tended bar all over Seattle for 23 years, I know how much energy and attitude shape a guest's night. When the service feels cold and passive-aggressively rude, it's hard to feel good about the experience. It's disappointing, because this place has so much potential.
