Worst service I've ever received. The male bartender had no respect for human life other than his own. We are 3 young women who walked in looking for pizza and he asked to see our ids. When my friend couldn't find hers he told her to go outside as minors weren't allowed in. She told him she was 22 and walked out. I went to this restaurant after a recent Paul McCartney concert. Upon entering we encountered a line of patrons waiting to have their ID checked. While standing in line I watched as a patron in the dining area was talking with a server about the food, I overheard the server tell the patron "Well if you don't like it, you can go somewhere else". Just as I heard this, it was my turn to show my ID. It was dark in the entry area and i mistakenly pulled my Medicare card from my wallet and handed it to the bouncer, he looked at it and told me that if I'm going to play games he not playing and for me to go somewhere else. When I realized what he was talking about, I promptly handed him my driver's license and at the same time told him I was sorry for my error. He then said, "I'm not playing games with you". Again, I told him I was sorry and that it is dark in here and I couldn't see clearly, that is the only reason that I handed him the wrong ID. He said to me that "you can go somewhere else, we don't need you in here". I then said , why are you being so rude to me. He then stood up, pointed toward the door and told me to "Get out". So, I left with the other three people I came with. I must state at this point, that I was completely sober and courteous to this man. I was shocked by his attitude and demeanor toward me. We stopped in for a beer and some food on our walk home, and we loved this place! They have awesome daily specials, so make sure to look for those when you visit. We went on a Sunday night, and they had half price pizza when you buy a drink. We got pbrs ($2.50!) and a BBQ chicken pizza, and it was amazing! The prices and quality of food in this place was great!! We sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender while we drank and ate, and she was awesome! Ordered through Eat24 and it took 1 hour and 45 minutes from the time I ordered for the food (1 pizza + 1 salad) to arrive. I placed the order at 6:15, they confirmed the order for delivery at 6:57. It arrived at 8:05. When it was only 20 minutes late, I called and all they had to say was "it will be there shortly." 15 minutes later, it still wasn't here, so I contacted Eat24. Long story short, I spent an hour (after the expected arrival time) feeling as hangry as it's possible to feel and spending much of that time either on the phone with the restaurant or chatting with Eat24. All I got for that hour of my life was a 15% discount. $2.70 to be precise. The food is fine, but nothing special. Average. If I want average pizza I'll call Domino's and at least I'll have that average pizza on my table in a half hour. Edited to add: In the end Eat24 gave me a $5 credit, so there's that. I'm super excited to have them in the neighborhood! Open until 2 AM (especially in Seattle, that's amazing), plenty of cheaper options ($3 slices all day), and a nice vibe. I like the lights behind the bar and the nice sized tvs (which had the baseball game on tonight, which was nice, and random movies on later nights when I've been). The music selection has also been fun (a mild techno type vibe the nights I've gone). As for the food, its exactly what you'd expect from a slice place, and everything we've tried so far have generally been good (sandwich, wings, and random slice choices). I was pumped that they've had some combo slices a couple of the times I've gone in, instead of just the typical simple choices. The only thing to be wary of are slices that have been sitting in the warmer for a long time, as has seemed to be the case a couple of times I went by. Also, the entire restaurant is considered bar only, so no one under 21 allowed in. We've definitely needed a spot like this in this part of town, and I see myself visiting often! read more
