I have know of A+ for 6 years, as they are my employers mechanics for their Fleet trucks as well as all employees personal car repairs and manintenance...for even more years than I have been employed. I recently had a battery issue and knew I needed a 50K tune up. Armen and his son were so helpful and took my car that morning I dropped it off. They provided a loaner car to me so that I can get back to work and the entire service was done the same day. A few years back I was in an accident and they also tooko my car for the body work. Hands down best auto service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Made an appointment with Niko to get new front brakes and rotors installed on my 2012 Mazda Mazdaspeed3. As soon as I pulled in I was greeted by Armen and Niko. First off the shop is nice clean and well maintained. Niko showed me to the customer lounge to hangout while he worked on my car. Lounge was a great spot to hangout with a couch, magazines, tv and to top it all of a pinball machine. Most lounges I go to are nasty but this one was amazing. While waiting Niko came over and then showed me a possible issue with my front shock. Great to have someone looking out for any issues while working on my car. I was going crazy looking for a decent shop in the west valley area to install an after market clutch in my 2015 Volkswagen GTI. After searching and searching I was able to find A plus after driving up and down looking for shops. What caught my eye was how clean and neat this shop was, no tools all over or parts laying on the floor like most shops around here. Went to this place on Monday morning. My dad got their 5 minutes before I did. When I got there, the owner had pretty much lost his mind, he was muttering on about how he's not going to work on our cars, because my dad was hovering. Said he was booked and didn't need "this" My dad is 74 years old, he drove 25 miles, only for this diva to tell us to leave, the old man was genuinely shattered. We all have plenty of choices in where to take our cars to get serviced, my advice to anyone considering this place should think twice, unless of course you like your oil change with a side of drama and theatrics. read more

A Plus Automotive lives up to it's name. It delivers; Service, Quality and Integrity. I had steam coming from the engine of my BMW and I quickly took it to A Plus that was close by. I was greeted with a smile and a friendly hello by Niko. He quickly diagnosed my problem as a broken cooling hose. He gave me an estimate and a time the work would be done. On top of that, Niko, dropped me off at my house and offered to pick me up once the job was done. (I live about a mile from the shop). The final bill was the same as the estimate and my car was ready several hours ahead of schedule. I must confess, I had the usual anxiety about going to a mechanic; worried about upselling, overcharging and possible repairs that were not necessary. But these guys seem to be the real deal. Im from Ohio & relocating in LA during a heat wave with a broken air conditioner was not fun. I called & they told me to come right over. They told me my AC compressor was broken & they had it in stock & could do it that afternoon!!! Now again Im from Ohio, it would have taken at least a week to get this done. And they gave me a free rental car for the day. I went to pick it up & had the oil changed as well. When I pulled in and saw the Maserati and Ferrari logos above the office, I groaned a little, immediately excepting my Chevy Cruze to be treated like an afterthought. My experience was the complete OPPOSITE. As a petite young woman, I've experienced my share of sexism when trying to get my car serviced -- I almost always expect to be treated dismissively. Armen listened very attentively to all of my comments about the problems the dealership couldn't seem to fix or even properly diagnose. There's been a faint high-pitched noise under my hood for the last 3 years that the dealership had certainly heard while working under the hood, but they never seemed to notice or mention it. Armen recognized it as overlapping with another issue I'd mentioned that was causing my check engine light to come on. This means the dealership probably could have caught this years ago if they'd been paying better attention. The service I received was top-notch. Armen treated me with great respect and was extremely communicative. He was very engaged, jumping in my car and taking a ride with me to listen to the air conditioner noise I'd also been trying to get the dealership to handle for 3 years. He offered to pick me off, drop me off, or give me a loaner car multiple times. He also got me a good quote on some body work with a shop down the street. What an incredible experience! I'm usually very cautious about who I choose to work on my beloved Bimmer, especially with my past experiences with shady mechanics. But rest assured! Your Bimmer is in the hands of a bonafide Bimmer Master, Armen. I came in knowing that there was an issue with my brakes. Armen took my car for a drive to feel out the kinks. Meanwhile, I was chilling in a very comfy, clean lounge. Armen's son (Niko, I believe?) then called me out to examine the brake rotors. This was the first time I've had a mechanic take me "under the hood" to thoroughly explain what the issue was. I really appreciated that. I agreed to go with a full replacement of the rotors and brake pads. Armen explained he only uses parts imported from Germany, so you know your car is getting quality parts that will pay off in the long run. I was prepared to chill in the lounge for the duration of the repair, but Armen was kind enough to lend me one of his cars to drive home. What a great gesture! After roughly 3.5 hours, my car was ready for pick up. Armen assured me that my car was in good condition to drive. We then chatted a bit about Bimmers in general. He took me round back to his garage to show me his beautiful '85 6 series. My jaw literally dropped! That was very cool of him to express his love for BMW. That's how I know I can trust my car in his hands. Overall, great experience! Very please to have finally found my BMW go-to-guy. I took in a vehicle which I just purchased to get checked, Arman and his son Nico made me and my wife feel like family. Their customer service is top notch, they did not charge me a dime for the quote because I already Knew of a few certain problems I had to address so I came in meaning to fix the issues but he called me an hour after saying to come look at the car cause he didn't think it was worth it on my end to work on the vehicle, he was so honest and showed real care when advicing me and my wife on the car. He pointed out problems that another mechanic didn't catch so I'm very grateful to have found his shop, turns out the car was way to rusted and repairing the car would cost me thousands of dollars he was hoping I could return the car but I had pruchased the vehicle from a private party, he pointed everything out to me a walked me thru it in detail.
