I have taken my car to Armen a couple of times, the first time, I got stranded at work, it was past six so I got a ride from a friend. Next day coworker gave me his number, he came to my work checked it out, I told him it wouldn't start and that is has been having some other issues. So he took it to his shop. He gave me a quote, I needed a new battery, and strut mounts. He put in a new battery just so I can get home, I didn't have the money for the struts so he told me to bring it in when I can, was not pushy like some mechanics are, he was very sweet and honest. This review is long overdue. On Mother's Day, while driving on the 101, my check engine light came on, the temperature gauge went up into the red and maxed out. In the past, I had been told misinformation about water in the radiator overflow bottle, and proceeded to fill the bottle, after getting off the freeway and popping the hood. I let everything cool off and managed to get the car home. The next morning I called many local mechanics and none were willing to look at it that day, except ARMEN at A-PLUS. Pulled my car in, Armen came out and immediately looked at my car. He listened to the symptoms then looked everything over carefully. He informed me of a few things I wasn't aware of, cleared up the misinformation about overflow bottles lol, filled my radiator and sent me on my way. My 2010 Ford Fusion had been making loud grinding/ rattling noises when I would accelerate hard or make turns. As time went on, in addition to those noises, my car was idling very loudly and it did not sound good. I took my car in to A-Plus based on the good Yelp reviews but i wasn't sure if they worked on Fords. I decided to walk in because it's very close to my work and I was greeted by the owner, Armen. I asked him if he handled Fords and he said definitely. He look a look under the hood and basically diagnosed the problems within minutes. He told me that it's most likely my motor mount was probably broken and also i probably needed a new drive belt tensioner and idler pully, and if he was going to replace those things, he recommended a new serpentine belt. He told me to just leave my car there and i could drive away in his car back to work until my car was ready. How convenient and nice of him! I drove his car back to my work and hours later, my car was ready. The work was done at a reasonable price, all while I was at work! I am sure the dealer would have charged double what Armen charged. I have driven the car for a month now since the work was done and my car is so quiet, it's scary. Thank you Armen! A-Plus Auto is my new go-to auto shop. So hassle free and professional. After getting 2 second opinions from 2 other mechanics, he was still unwilling to take any responsiblity for the car not working properly.
