Outside, currently there's an umbrella kind of hiding their name so just look out for that.

I got to say that I love that they have cafe de Olla! I'm willing to drive just for it alone (I live half hour away.) It's run by some older Latina ladies that always super nice when I've gone. They sell food there, I haven't tried any of it yet but they sound and look delicious. They have pastries as well. They also sell natural juices which was pretty neat to see. They have some tables inside even though it's kinda tight but their whole backyard there's more tables where you can sit at. The spot is kind of hidden so just make sure you're paying attention to a spot that is painted green with their name on it. They have a parking lot and there's also street parking. Arteaga's is right next to it, just try not to park in their parking lot, just to be considerate.

This place is definitely my new favorite hole in the wall! The service was amazing and super friendly, especially to my little pup that I brought with me. The outdoor seating area is super cute and picture worthy. With food, I have no complaints. The portions are huge, everything tasted amazing, and I 100% plan on coming back and bringing my whole family!

The señora that run this place are very, very nice and the owner was a wonderful gentleman to have a conversation with. The food was so delicious. The menu is pretty good sized. They have some great breakfast offers. As well as luncheon dinner. It's decorated in a Mexican thing with pottery and pots and cups and it makes you feel like you've left the United States and gone to Mexico and in the back area had lots of cactus and different things to make you feel more like you're out of the country. the food was absolutely delicious and fresh and I love the flavors and you can build the layers of flavors of the sauces that you're offered. The Adopt a Pug event was a hit .

OMG These are the moments that I'm so glad I trust Yelp! This place is suuuuper cute, the chilaquiles were absolutely delicious and it was probably the best cafe de olla I've ever had! I came here after the gym and a friend recommended we stop here. When you walk it, it's super unassuming. You order at the counter and the seating is in the back in the patio. It's super cute and the people are so nice. I'll definitely be coming back!

Great coffee. Excellent customer service. Its like walking in to a family members home. They greet you warmly. So many options will have to return soon to try.

Awesome spot for conchas from Concha Dreams, Cafe Olli, breakfast, lunch and small selection of Mexican wares. Everyone was friendly with a neighborhood gem feel with a Cute outside spot to enjoy and chill. We came for the mini conchas but will return to try more. Parking is challenging but worth it.

World's best coffee!!! My wife took me here this morning and I feel like I haven't had a good cup of coffee in ages !!! It was my lucky day I guess. Everything here is absolutely perfect!! From the decor, to the vibe, right down to the customer service. Mind you I've had coffee in Cost Rica, Italy, and New York!!! The coffee flavor is out of this world and it's HOT which has been pretty hard to find lately. I highly recommend and I definitely can't wait to come back. The clay cups are a nice touch as well. A+ for A Romos Cafe

I keep coming back--because I absolutely love this place! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The drinks never disappoint--consistently amazing every single time. This is hands down one of my favorite cafes to visit. The service is phenomenal. Every member of the staff, including the owner, is warm, welcoming, and friendly. I'm always greeted with smiles, which truly makes the experience even better. It's one of the biggest reasons I return again and again. The ambiance is lovely, with charming Mexican touches that give the space a unique and cozy vibe. The back patio is a hidden gem, with great seating, beautiful plants, and eye-catching art. Every visit here is a pleasure. Parking can be a bit tricky on busy days, but it's absolutely worth the effort. Thank you, A Romos Cafe, for your excellent food, ambiance, and top-notch service you've got a customer for life!

The staff was very welcoming, their menu options are very diverse. The outdoor seating space is lovely I felt at home. The food was really good the Vietnamese coffee was good in my opinion because it wasn't too strong where I'll get jittery.

HUGE salmon salad with fresh strawberries. There is a lot of spinach under there.

Friendly and fast service. They were pretty busy when we went for brunch on a weekday. There are food items written on a blackboard as well as a different menu that's printed and available where you order. This caused a delay in ordering because people didn't know about the other menus. My husband had the The Mix sandwich and I had the tuna melt. Both came out HOT and delicious! We didn't like the salmon spinach salad. While it was a huge serving, all it was was a pile of spinach with torn smoked salmon pieces like the one you buy from Costco. The added strawberries didn't make it taste any better. We sat in their pack patio. Be careful with their chairs. Some weren't very sturdy.

This is a bustling business with many people walking in and out of the store for coffee and/or on their break. I walked in on a rainy day and there was limited indoor seating with two small tables inside but plenty of outdoor seating. I ordered a crepe, cheese ball, and a side of eggs. This came out to about $25 after tip. The strawberry banana crepe was good but very sweet, though I did say yes when they asked if I wanted Nutella. The eggs were cooked over medium as I requested and it was nice they did the side order on the fly, charging $3 for one egg. My least favorite part about the meal was the cheese ball. Although it was warm on the outside, the inside was a little tough and cold. It also was not cheap at about $6 for the small cheese ball and I thought maybe they should have some more price transparency by putting the prices on the case where the pastries are (or at least somewhere). Overall, my experience here was good but I would probably forego the cheese ball. The staff here was very kind and keep the place clean, but please note that the staff mostly spoke to me in Spanish.

Fantastic food, drinks, and decor! For a huge portion of fresh salad that is made to order, I recommend A Romo's Cafe. The Chef's Salad comes with a green dressing that was unlike any other dressing I have tried before, savory and flavorful. The serving portion is huge and could easy serve 2 people, although you might not want to share. The lemonade was refreshing and not your typical lemonade! I didn't ask but it tasted like a little grapefruit and sparkling water was added, which made it 10 times better. There is a small parking lot on the side of the building specifically for A Romo's customers. The patio seating is beautifully decorated with the same Mexican folk art. They have community style seating available and more intimate smaller tables.

Integrated into downtown Hayward just a block from the theater and other eateries and drink spots, Khao Hom has made a strong impression in the local community drawing a good following for weekend brunch as well as weekday lunch. With street parking right in front as well as sharing free public parking in the lot behind the restaurant, once you've slogged through traffic to get to this area, you'll be able to easily park and venture in for your food experience. As you enter, you'll likely need to wait for one of their staff members to seat you in one of their two dining spaces. The rooms are well lit and enhance the ambiance of your meal (and photos) with natural lighting. When seated, you'll get their food and drinks menu in addition to finding their dessert menu at the table. As standard, each table gets a carafe of water for you to serve yourselves. Their menu is quite extensive in representing popular Thai flavors with a bit of flare. You'll find curries, soups, noodles and chef specialties in their own sections of the menu. They also have some alcohol infused drinks for those looking for a full brunch experience. As a novice to some Thai dishes, I did have to ask the staff to explain a bit about certain dishes, but there were a few that caught my eye and never let go. Thai tea - flavorful and bold; rich but not too sweet Matcha latte - rich matcha flavor and creamy; best sipped and can be packed in a to-go cup if you don't finish Tom yum crab omelet - beautifully crafted omurice-esque dish where you'll find white rice encased in an egg omelet topped with succulent pieces of crab meat and smothered in tom yum soup. This dish is not only a pleasure to look at but the taste and textures in each bite will have you salivating for more until the dish completely disappears. This unique take is a must get for first timers! Roti gai tod - crispy fried yet succulent chicken served with a small serving of creamy yellow curry, white rice, and a roti alongside their delicious chili sauce. Fantastic balance of textures and flavors will have your tongue dancing from the spices. Tom kha soup - a bowl of comfort with a whole lot of shredded chicken, red onions, and mushrooms with a few big quarters of fresh tomatoes. It's not as creamy as I would like but the flavor is there with its abundance in lemongrass. The portion is large as one order can easily split into two bowls. Fried ice cream - a meal topper and sweet indulgence for those looking to try something new and rarely found elsewhere. This giant meteorite of a breaded and fried ball of vanilla ice cream is topped with chocolate fudge, powdered sugar, a generous helping of whipped cream and plenty of fruit (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, grapes, and cantaloupe). Definitely shareable and a surprising star of their dessert menu - they could definitely do more to advertise this! The staff were super friendly and quick to take dirty dishes out of the way. They kept the place clean, served the food promptly and treated all of their customers with respect and smiles. Top notch crew from the front of the house to the back. Furthermore, should you need the restrooms, they do have two gender neutral rooms that were decently maintained. Overall, Khao Hom is not your everyday Thai restaurant nor is it your run of the mill brunch spot - this is a unique experience with food created out of passion to merge these together. The result is an aesthetically pleasing yet hunger extinguishing meal that will have you discovering new flavors and craving for more. With its proximity to the city center, it's a great a spot to plan out a lunch or brunch before a nice stroll around or a movie. Thai food has never looked and tasted so good!

Normally, we have our own waiters to take our order, serve our food, give us the bill, and pay for it. I don't know if I recall correctly, but we can self-serve complimentary chips and salsa as well as water. And they have hibiscus tea? Pretty much it's ran out already by the time I arrived. Speaking of that, it was very loud here since I came here during the weekend, but it doesn't really bother me as much. I mostly came here for the Ube Pancakes since I have them before and I think that they're famous for having them. Honestly, it's really good and tasted like how I had them back then. The serving was quite huge to the point that I'm almost full. It's expensive though since it's $22. That's quite unusual for just pancakes alone but that probably because of the ingredients they used. The Vietnamese iced coffee was sweet at first but watered down overtime, but that's natural. At least that didn't happen when my drink arrived. I really enjoy my time here and I'm thinking of returning perhaps on weekdays if I can. It's just too hectic here, but it's not to the point that I would leave since I drove about 25 minutes from Fremont for this restaurant. I feel like Ube Pancakes is the only main dish I have so far and so I'm looking forward for other dishes in the future.

Parking was busy (the lot is shared with Trader Joe's) but we managed to find a spot and head into the busy but not packed cafe. There is a large assortment of empanadas, from meat options like chorizo and chicken, to vegetarian like corn and onion, to sweet options too like apples. The menu also boasts lots of great drinks including mate tea! Lucky us, the empanadas we ordered weren't in stock so we had to wait ~10 for freshly baked ones. They came out buttery and piping hot, even with little hand-stamped letters on them so you know what you're eating, and it was so delicious. Most are about $5.50 each. Add oregano chimichurri for a bit extra if you want or pair with a tea, but these empanadas really hit the snacky spot. Lots of wooden tables with fresh flowers make Pampas a great space to chat with friends or to sit and do some work. The most standout feature was the friendly and efficient staff who seem to build connections with everybody who walks in the door. Worth a drive to Castro Valley!
