If you're in a rush this might not be a place you'd want to stop by on the way to work. But if you have time, it's worth the wait. I gave it 4 stars because the floor was very sticky when I visited. The ambiance is pretty normal for greensboro, I feel like almost every establishment you walk in, there will be cracked floors but I just remember the staff was pretty awesome and as far as pastries, they had a pretty good variety and gluten free options and other food sensitivity options. The outside of the place looks like it could be an Inn in the neighborhood (which who knows maybe it was at one point.) It's usually quiet enough to focus, though on a recent visit, somebody broke out the giant wooden connect four... The vibe is usually very relaxed and the owl motif proclaiming that you should "change the plan, but never the goal" really appealed to me. I usually get matcha lattes, but as I recall, their matcha comes pre-sweetened. Staff is always friendly and they recently put up some Christmas decor that helps hit that warm and cozy feel. In front they have lots of coffee and related items to buy and take home. And the location is great for access by walking to other shops and restaurants. I only wish they had longer hours, but maybe that's my own fault for working so late.
