I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness of this intimate and welcoming salon. Definitely my kind of place! I had called and was able to get an appointment with Donna (co-owner) who greeted me when I walked through the door. After telling her what I wanted she worked on my hair without rushing and I was more than happy with the results. Its difficult to get a really good haircut first time with a new (to me) operator, however, Donna did an excellent job and I left a satisfied customer. My hair color has always been spot on PERFECT and she's helped me work hard to grow my hair long again! I probably should've known from the beginning that it wasn't going to be a great experience because they acted like accommodating the last-minute appointment was an inconvenience, even though there wasn't a single other customer in the salon when we arrived. The salon itself was a lot less impressive than the Yelp photos and reviews made it out to be, but what really bothered me was the haircut itself. My daughter's hair was in a ponytail with quite a bit of gel in it, and the stylist didn't even wash her hair before cutting it. She just sprayed it with water and started cutting. Even the "middle part" she used while cutting her hair was noticeably off. I didn't want to leave a negative review prematurely, so I waited until I washed my daughter's hair myself to make sure I was seeing the haircut accurately. Unfortunately, it looked exactly how I had imagined it would - the cut is very uneven. I'm attaching a photo taken after I washed her hair so you can see how uneven the final cut is, as well as a photo showing the "middle part" that was used when her hair was cut. I'm especially disappointed because this was my daughter's very first haircut, and I really wanted it to be a nice experience. I expected much more care and attention to detail from a salon that specifically specializes in children's haircuts.

She put a gorgeous creamy blonde into my hair and helped me get rid of a lot of the brassiness that I had for probably the last 2 years. She also took so much time to put my color together, making sure that it was going to turn out beautifully and spent such a great deal of time doing the most wonderful blowout for my hair! Not to mention of course, she was extremely sweet and kind, and just gave off an amazing vibe!
