Good service in my visit. Needed to get a check-up on a brake line…read more They were professional, polite, and friendly. It only took them about 30 minutes to look into my inquiry. No service was actually required, and they did not charge me for the labor involved to check my car. A satisfactory experience.

They put the compressor in just a few months ago. Now the ac does not work. We called them back. It was working perfectly until the "fixed the compressor " that was under warranty. Took it back and now they say it's another part they didn't replace.$900 to fix it. We left and will not go back. We are nearly 70 yrs old and we have spent several thousand dollars with them. The ac was fine until they fixed it when we didn't even bring it in for that. We already spent over $3000 replacing the ac with them and now they want more fore something that was not broke until they did a warranty repair on their on work. It makes me wonder how much of the work we paid for actually got done. It's an older van we originally went in for an oil leak and we have been back several times for leaks and it's always something other than what we already had done. The owner left a message for us to call him on Monday. We called but he was too busy to talk to us. I called back later in the day and he had already left .Jeff at the shop said he would get back to us on Wednesday. So I guess he has my money, I have a van that is rattling like it is full of loose screws with no A/C and we are no longer important to his company since we didn't hand over another $900 to fix something they clearly screwed up. There was no rattle and the ac worked perfectly when I took it in for the oil leak.

Travis educates me, explains what is going on in simple terms, will show me pictures or faulty car parts that he pulled off my vehicle...but more importantly doesn't swindle me. I'm so glad I have a place I can go to that's trustworthy and close by.

I've changed my 1 star review below to a 5 star review due to the excellent customer service…read morereceived from the owner, Mike. Mike sent several apologies and went above and beyond what most business owners would do in a situation such as this. - He refunded me for the missed alignment and the cost of the new tire. To find this kind of honesty is rare and it proves that he operates his business with integrity. Knowing this, I would not hesitate to bring my vehicle directly to Mike in the future if need be. Mistakes happen, and he was quick to correct it. Thank you, Mike! ********************************************************* My husband brought my car over to AZ Automasters in February of 2024. We had never been there before, but I had just had new control arms and ball joints put in and since the tires were also brand new, my mechanic who did that work recommended an alignment. AZ Automasters kept the car overnight and my husband picked it up the following day. My husband stated that he asked the employees if the alignment was off and by how much, and that no one could answer his questions or seemed to "know anything about anything." But he did say that the employees working the morning he picked it up were not the same ones who were working when he dropped it off. He didn't leave feeling super confident but they said the car was done so he left and that was that. This car is kept in a garage, has not been in any accidents, hit any curbs or anything of that nature, and is well loved. I have put 8000 miles on the vehicle since the alignment. The other day we realized that the tires should probably be rotated and were horrified to notice that the outside of the passenger front tire was completely bald, the inside of the tire barely worn. We went over to where we purchased the tires as they are warranteed to 80,000 miles, but because they deemed it an "alignment issue", I had to purchase a brand new tire out of pocket. Not only did I waste $118.00 at AZ Automasters as they did not complete the alignment I paid for, I'm out an additional $145 for a new tire and still need to get the car aligned. I'll certainly be getting alignment, but it won't be at AZ Automasters. *Edit* I just had a front end alignment at a reputable shop where the employees actually care about their customers. They had to take a torch to the tie-rod jam nuts as they were totally locked up on both sides. This would NOT have had to be done had AZ Automasters done the work they were paid to do a year and a half ago. Also, this shop, who did the alignment using lasers, was able to show us via computer what they adjusted and how much, which AZ Automasters could not do for us. And this new place was cheaper! Lesson learned to shop around!

However, I am very disappointed with the level of expertise and outcome of the visit. My 2014 Jeep compass has had the check engine light on for a week, steering locked up last week, and has had delayed clicking start. Justin arrived, I gave him the full history of my vehicle (no problems for 10 years) and the issues occurring the last month or so which prompted the call. He started running tests, even drove the car around to see if he could replicate what I had been experiencing. About 30 minutes into the visit he said he couldn't replicate any of the issues; that's okay, as I mentioned it only happened about 50% of the time. But he sat in my car another 20-30 minutes or so, told me he had to call his boss because he was completely stumped. Not really what you want to hear, but even I started making suggestions of what it could be so he could at least do something for me. At the end of the visit he basically just said "sorry I have no idea what's wrong, maybe replace your battery?"... the only thing he found was a sensor on my engine needed replacement, but it's totally unrelated to the other issues. I ended up having to pay $150 for literally no better idea what's wrong with my car and not feeling any safer to drive it. It was a huge waste of my time and now I'm out $150, and I still had to take it to another shop that already figured out the problem not even 24 hours later. Save yourself some money and go to a real auto shop. I understand that some technicians may be learning or lack the knowledge to dive deeper, but someone should be going with them to assist so your customers aren't left feeling robbed and confused.
