Easy to work with and best price for an ABF ReloCube unloading job. We got a good quote on the phone and several follow up calls (we booked a few weeks in advance). Sure enough, on the right day, two movers met us in Kent at the ABF depot. They brought a truck that was just big enough, which was oddly perfect, as we needed to take the contents of the cube into downtown Seattle. They broke one item, it's true, but it was overloaded dresser from IKEA. It came as a shock to no one, but IKEA items don't get along with dollies. They don't insure/repair particleboard, but hey, I figured a dresser owned is a dresser not needed to be bought from one more long ass IKEA trip. I tried. But everything else was peachy! The guys drove everything up the freeway and made it to the unloading location. They got the items put where we asked and were careful with the floors. No walls were hit, no scratches made. They did say I was one of the most organized moves ever, so some of this was the result of a lot of planning. They only had to unload and unwrap. But, if you need movers to unload a pod, call them! The rates in Washington have to include travel time, so remember this when comparing quotes. They were the cheapest for us, but YMMV. But they did a good job and that's more than half the battle when hiring movers. read more

This company moved us from our 2 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom house. My first contact was by phone with Rose, who was knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to work with. The quote she gave was reasonable, and she made sure I knew about the saving coupon on Yelp which saved us $30. When it was time for the move, A to B Moving was timely and efficient. They packed some items we needed help with, such as large framed art and our tv, and did not charge extra for this service and materials like another large moving company had done. Their crew of 3 men handled all our belongings safely and respectfully, with no damage to anything whatsoever. I was amazed at the crew's speed and strength in moving heavy boxes and furniture up to the 2nd story of the house. When they were done they had finished in the estimated timeframe and at the estimated price. I would gladly recommend A to B Moving. Ok.... I absolutely love these guys! I would give the more stars if I could! Not only did they give me a great estimate, they showed up on time, came under my estimate, but we're rad guys! I value these things when hiring someone to even touch my belongings! I loved that they called to confirm a few days prior to truck arrival. I did not have 1 item broken by these guys, although, I am a master packer, I truly appreciate the treatment of my boxes and furniture! To top it all off, I thought I lost my boxes of Urns with precious family members. It was that scene where you have absolutely lost your mind, tearing through every box..not once...but 3 times or more. Swearing that its lost...and ...no amount of tincture can calm you're A$$ down! I even reached out to A2B to see if by accident it was still on the truck, they were frantically searching with me! Great moving experience! I mean, as far as moving goes :). Very nice woman came to the house after we called. Provided an estimate very soon after. Seemed very reasonable. Hourly estimate. 3 guys showed up this morning as scheduled. Ryan, Phil and Will. Did a quick walkthrough - got right to work! Truck was the perfect size. So I was really surprised with the generosity of the owner of this company. I had a mixed up with my move date and they showed up at my house when I was expecting them. Cause of that they were gonna charge 200$ for there time. I was really upset that they didnt confirm before just showing up then trying to charge me. Had to move a few weeks back and it went really well. The prices were reasonable and the guys were great. Very polite. Nothing got broken or damaged. They showed up with almost everything we needed to move except there was a mix up on the wardrobe boxes and we only got one for a 5 bedroom house. Other than that, they were patient and even removed a piece of furniture that didn't work even after I asked them to move it in. Very nice guys for sure. Based on their location and the Yelp reviews, I chose A2B to unload a set of pods from the Kent Door-to-Door warehouse. Door-to-Door can not guarantee you an exact date of pod arrival. For this reason, I asked A2B if I could schedule a tentative date. When the pods arrived early, I called A2B if I could change the date of my move. A2B obliged the date change without issue. The move itself went as smoothly as one could expect. The two movers quickly moved my belongings into the apartment I am renting. Because the move went so quickly, I ended up paying less than the price A2B initially quoted me. Finally, I liked the way I could add a tip to my payment via credit card. I am very satisfied with service A2B provided me from the first call to the delivery of the last box. read more

As I searched Yelp for a mover I came upon A2B Moving and noticed in a picture that on the side of their truck it stated that no job was too small...so I decided to test them to see if that were true! All I needed moved was a treadmill from my friends apartment to my home, both in Kent. I was quoted a price over the phone and arranged a time to get the treadmill moved. I was impressed because the two movers with the truck showed up on time. They both introduced themselves and were very professional. The job was done quickly and I was very happy with their service. I own a lot of bookcases. A lot. I also have a three year old to corral. Additionally, I'm reaching that age where my friends are all busy and don't want to help anyone move for pizza and beer. I envisioned myself carrying a bookcase while tripping over my three year old down two flights of stairs and supposed it was time to call in the professionals. Only, last time I did that, half of my stuff wound up broken. After digging through some Yelp reviews, I decided to give A2B Moving a call. I'm glad I did. There was a minor mix-up with directions - GPS often botches directions to certain Tacoma addresses but they called to let me know what had happened and the company was kind enough to waive my travel time since they were late. Once the guys arrived, they worked hard, fast, and carefully. They literally roll out the red carpet - to protect your floors and stairs. They wrapped up all of my furniture so that nothing slid or hung open. No dawdling, they followed me right over to the new place and started immediately rolling out that red carpet and loading in to my new place - unwrapping and taking the plastic with them, so I wasn't left with a full trash can on day one in the new place. As a bonus, they helped me lay down some very large rugs that would have been impossible to do on my own. They also asked where everything should go, put things down in an orderly fashion so I wasn't trapped in a place full of furniture I couldn't move, and asked if I wanted anything moved after they finished loading in. The best part about all of this? It didn't completely drain my bank account - the pricing is very reasonable. I spent about three times what I would have for a self-rented truck with gas and got a truck, three fast and friendly workers, only four hours out of my day, and no backache at the end of the day. read more

A2B was great - we couldn't schedule a drop-off of our relocube until it had been picked up from San Francisco, so I didn't even contact them until the drop-off was scheduled, or a few days before we wanted movers to come and help us unload heavy furniture/boxes into our 3rd floor, no-elevator condo. Laurene worked with me to schedule a convenient moving time, and even called later to let me know there'd been a cancellation earlier in the day (the cancelled party ended up wanting their spot back, but it's the thought that counts). The guys arrived early, brought their own dollies, and my husband said they were quick, efficient, and very nice. Basically everything that the movers we used in San Francisco did wrong (at least the SF people moved things and didn't break them!), A2B did right, and more. We're moving again in the near future when we find a house, and we'll definitely use A2B again (side note: I didn't realize there was a Yelp coupon, so hopefully they'll let a returning customer take advantage of it the second time around). read more

The crew showed up between the designated time agreed upon and immediately got a walk through of everything moving to our new home and started right away. When I moved four months ago, I wanted everything to be as easy as possible. I learned a long time ago that if you pay your friends to move with a six pack and a pizza, you get what you pay for when the pizza runs out. Sure, a moving service costs more, but it makes it easier when you do the ground work before. The crew showed up early, loaded up fast, and made the trip from Lynnwood to Kent easy as could be. Total job was in the time quoted, including travel time. The only recommendation that I have is for them to match up the movers and jobs better. I have cats and one of my movers was allergic to cats. Had they screened this, it might have made my move slightly faster and his day easier - I felt bad for him and how I could tell he was feeling! read more

Great moving company. They were very flexible in letting me change my moving date at the last minute. The movers even helped to assemble our bed. We hired these guys in an almost last minute situation when we had some other movers cancel at the last minute. Ryan and his team showed up and they were nothing short of amazing. They RAN up and down the stairs to grab boxes, were very friendly and so quick! The mess of the move didn't phase them. It was 3 years back. I used A2B last weekend and the guys did great job. They provided great protections on both places. The 3-man team was led by Kyle, who is very experienced, together with another very experienced mover. The guy with less experience was also very friendly. Amazingly they even did not scratch any walls, with the 5x5 Ikea book case. However I later discovered some scratches on my dinning table, and the door for my storage shed was broken. The owner offers to come by to take a look. I was OK with these small things so did not make appointment with them, which could be time consuming for both side. The communication with the owner (Laurene) was also great. The rate was $125/h (3 men and truck) with a flat travel fee. I was glad the owner accept credit card. Again this is 3 years ago. read more

As I said in a previous review. The move itself was great. Our problems came after the move when we were missing two items. The items were parts of things that the movers took apart. Repeated calls went un returned. After an email I finally received a call that it would be looked into and I would be contacted. I never was and follow up calls and emails went unanswered. Recently moved from Auburn to downtown Seattle. A2B was prompt and punctual. However, had a billing issue that management was not concerned with at all. Delivery guys gave me $50 off because of easy move and me helping them out so much. I did not ask for a discount but they gave it to me anyways. I gave them a hefty tip for my appreciation. Management insisted I owed $75 more or I would be sent to collections IMMEDIATELY. I would've gladly paid the extra $75 owed without a fuss if they were more understanding. I ended up just paying the $75 because I don't want the hassle. BUT It should not be the customer's fault if the employee gives the customer a discount without managements approval. I am a business owner myself and I would have just ate the cost and not charged the customer and talked to the employee about it. There's a million moving companies to choose from that are more efficient and strive for customer service. A2B is not one of them. They apparently have too many customers now and don't really care about getting new ones. Save yourself future trouble and use a different moving company. read more

I will definitely call A2B again when I need to move. We had three quotes to move our home from Auburn to Sammamish. The quote from A2B was reasonable and I chose to go with them based on their reviews being better than the other two companies. We have a LOT of stuff- we moved from a 4500 sqft house to a 4300 sqft house. The team arrived with five movers ready to go. About half way through the loading, they knew that two trucks werent going to do it. Without a delay, A2B sent over a 3rd smaller truck to finish off the remainder of the items. Ryan was a great team lead and made us feel very comfortable with A2B handling our items. For the drop off a week later, the team again arrived on time with five movers. Since the house is brand new, they took extra precautions by covering floors, railings, etc. We didnt find even one mark on a wall with all the stuff they moved in. Even with the need for the extra smaller truck, the total bill came in right to the estimate. We haven't found anything damaged, unless it was due to our own poor packing of boxes from rushing at the last minute (whoops!). I recommend calling A2B for a quote if you need to move. read more

I have used A2B twice and both times they were great. The first time was a little over a year ago to unload a couple Upack cubes in Renton and move the contents to my apartment in Seattle. They were on time and fast. While this was an easy move a few companies were not even interested in handling it. The second time was to move between apartments in Seattle. Again, they were fast and on time. Both times, and two different cubes, they were careful and friendly. Want a bonus? They are really affordable! You expect the lower cost to come with some compromises but that is not the case. read more

It was honestly the worst experience using this company. They added in charges from the original contract. They damaged all of my furniture since they chose to not cover anything, leaving all of my furniture scratched at minimum. Some items had large gauges or chunks missing. My couch has tears in the fabric. Then the claim process was insanity. I had to continually follow up. They claim that they lost everything and I had to resubmit. The process took many months. I ultimately had to start a small claims court claim just to get them to close it out. They still never paid out what was owed. Do not use this company! read more
