I love bringing my car here. The staff is always cheerful and courteous. The waiting room is clean and they provide coffee and tea. I hadn't had my car long and only knew that when the "wrench" popped up it was time to see the car doc. I took it into AA Auto and the owner went out and looked at it. Came back in and said, 'Nothing is wrong. You don't need an oil change yet, so if you can live with the wrench light, come back when the oil change is due'. He didn't charge me for his time. So, I keep coming back. Yes, they are a busy place...that means a lot of people trust them. Emergencies on our cars DO happen...if you tell them that you believe that your car is not drivable they will look at it. But this is a SERVICE and being such, they are servicing a lot of people. The point is, keep your service records current, and you just may not run into those emergencies as I have read about. Great Place! New receptionist who is a doll, love her!! read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Im so grateful to have found this place. I don't even know where to start, I brought my car in for 120,000 mile service. I was extremely impressed how Mike and the other staff member handle each customer with patience and kindness. I received a call a few hours later and Mike explained that 3/4 of the stuff that would normally need to be done at the 120,000 service was already done which I had a feeling because I took it in to other places here and there for repairs/fluids in the past year or two. I was thankful he was honest because a lot of places would have done it even though it wasn't needed and charged me for it. I was on a strict budget and Mike calmly spent the time with me breaking things down and prioritizing them as he knew I couldn't do them all at one time, so we came up with a plan. I took my car in right when it opened and I had to call 2 times to see if my car was ready. When I got it back I discovered that they never fixed the rattling noise I took it in for. I was leaving for a road trip the following day and was very stressed about the noise and disappointed that it wasn't fixed. What were they doing with my car all day? I've had two cars serviced by AA Auto now, both with some unique needs. I recommend them highly. Communication is excellent - timely and clear. Work is also excellent and high quality. First experience involved an older (97) vehicle my son was taking to school out of state - we needed to renew the tabs, but it didn't pass inspection; had to get it to pass before he left in two days - not a huge job but definitely a rush one. Mike had me bring the car in and got it worked on between some other jobs. Aware that it was being driven by a kid to a school 1000 miles away, he - free of charge - looked it over to see if there were any other major problems looming. Here's the trust-inspiring part - he found it was in great shape, and didn't need anything right now! Wow! He did mention the heater needed to be replaced but it wasn't something I had time for right then - and he knew what he was talking about - 4 months/5000+ miles later sure enough that heater blew. Second and most recent experience involved a 2007 vehicle with a bad transmission that had sat for over a year without being started (long story but short version - Never buying another Nissan. EVER). This time a big job, but not a rush. He was upfront about all the costs, nothing got tacked on. I had received so much crap from the Nissan dealer and Nissan corporate that it was a breath of fresh air to receive kindness instead, finally. Thank you, Mike and AA Auto Service. read more

Very dishonest shop. They suggested a handful of non-necessary services for a check engine light, overcharged $300 more than the dealer for the same job (timing belt and new thermostat) and less than 24 hours after the service, the check engine light came back on. They also wanted to charge me to diagnose a factory recall item (a brake switch), which the dealer diagnosed and repaired for free. **edit** The thermostat ended up not being the problem anyway. I took the car to autohaus vick down the street and they got it squared away for $200 read more

Wow... This might be the best car service station on the planet. I have never been as happy to receive car service. You can expect to pay a little bit (1 - 5%) more for the service here and it's worth every penny. DO NOT go here. Not trustworthy. I took my car for regular oil change servicing and asked them to check if timing belt needs a replacement. I bought the car used at 75k miles so did not know if timing belt was replaced at 60k miles. They came back saying timing belt is old and it can break anytime, not safe for driving as gave a quote of $1,300 . Surprised with the quote, I decided to replace timing belt myself. When I opened up timing belt covers all the way to water pump and crank shaft, I see they are in very good condition, not a even a single wear I see on the belt. I even see the manufactures print on the belt. Water pump was also replaced. read more

My car has stalled in the middle of the road and wouldn't start. I had it towed to this place by AAA - it was the closest one within AAA range. The guys have charged me over $100 to look for problems, and found that my battery is good.... They haven't found what's wrong wit the car, but proposed to re-test car after performing maintenance work totaling over $800. None of the work they suggested seemed relevant to the problem that caused stalling, c'mon I haven't brought the car on tow truck to change dirty air filter! I told them that I'd like to take the car from them without doing service, to which they replied that car is not starting, so I can't drive it. Ok, I ordered tow track again to tow car to my house, and when it was brought to me... the car has actually started without a glitch. I still don't know what happened to my car, but I had it inspected by another mechanic who went through the printout of AA-suggested repairs, and dismissed every one of them as irrelevant to the problem that could have caused stalling. read more

My husband bring my car in and to fix the water pump for my car. We have to pay almost a $1000 but it still leaking .We bring it in again and they say is not leaking.But before that we bring to different mechanic shop and they say the water pump is leaking, And now they argue with us. And say this and that try to make money again. The manager is dishonest and bad services. At first we thought they are nice but it turn out really really rude. Don't ever bring your car here, bad jobs and bad services. Just want to make money..... Also need to read carefully on yelp because sometime they are cheated. I give them one star because when you just bring your car in they are really nice to you but after that if anything wrong with your car again they turn back really quick... 100% trustworthy and professional group of technicians. These guys are very informative and I had such a worry free process. They'll tell you what you need or don't need in an honest fashion so that your hard earned money is spent only according to necessity. I both experienced and witnessed this during my visit to their shop. It's nice to know when you drop your vehicle off that you're at a place where the job will get done right and I'd recommend anyone to bring your vehicle here for that reason. They have a loaner car contingent upon avail. and will give you a ride if you live in the area. My car was fairly priced for repairs, fixed efficiently, and returned to me vacuumed and washed. Be very wary of this shop.... If I could provide 0 stars I would. They provided an estimate of $1,600 for a repair.. I checked out the parts and labor on line and thought something was very wrong when the parts came back at a fraction of the price expected. Wanting a second opinion I called a dealer and asked them for an estimate for the repair and it was $260. Had the car towed to the dealer and fixed without a problem. The AA Auto charged me a diagnostic fee which they neglected to disclose initially. read more

I'm a 22 year old female and have been told by my Dad always be careful of auto repair shops. This is the first time going to a shop without my Dad helping me. My experience here was way better than I ever expected. Cliff was super patient and nice to me. He explained what was wrong with my car and gave me a couple different options based on my budget. I got the work done and had my car back the same day, they even gave me a ride back to my work and picked me up. The guy who drove me was very nice too. Over all my experience was awesome. I dropped off my car off for the 30k service inspection in the morning. Unfortunately, I forgot to tell them I needed it back by 4pm to pick up my son form school. I called them around at 3:15 to see if I could get it back by 4pm and they told me they were down 3 techs, but would get to it immediately, so I should head in. I arrived about 30 minutes later, they apologized and gave me the inspection report printout: no problems with the car, all points inspected, fluid levels checked, tire and brakepad wear measured...all you would expect from the inspection. They said given the time they had, they weren't able to rotate the tires or do any of the maintenance work before 4pm, so they did something unexpected: they didn't charge me for any of the work they did. Granted, I will still need to get my tires rotated and change my filters, but they had every right to charge me for the time they did look over my car and they declined because they weren't able to perform all of the usual service. How often does a service center do that? They took a challenging situation (for both of us) and turned it into a positive customer experience. I highly recommend them. read more

I needed to get my brakes inspected, so I called to make an appointment. No problem, they scheduled me for an hour later. They also did a FREE oil change because I mentioned that I found them on Yelp. While they had my car, they also replaced a burned-out license plate bulb, for FREE. When I asked the difference between regular and synthetic, she couldn't answer so another guy responded without even looking up from his screen, a stern "depends on what she wants". Then on pricing, I just asked a simple question on why their synthetic oil change was super expensive compared to jiffy lube, to which the guy (without looking up from his screen) replied "we are not jiffy lube" in his stern voice. I had spent over a grand to get my issue fixed at a dealership, yet my car was still running rough. They found that the dealer had made a mistake and they were able to fix it at a very reasonable cost. I have found that they have been very fair in not recommending excess repairs, unlike other shops. They take the time to explain what's needed and they get the job done right the first time. They are my "go-to" place for repairs. On top of the good work, their great service and attitude impressed my wife so much that I don't think she minds taking the car in to get serviced.
