Was excited to try this place because of the good reviews, but unfortunately I'm very disappointed! The chicken short rib and beef were completely burnt in both bbq combos that we ordered, you couldn't taste any flavor just burnt! And the sushi was disappointing as well the rice was hard and fish didn't taste fresh at all. I don't like writing bad reviews but this experience was just so bad I had to. Hopefully they will be more cautious when cooking their meats. read more

I love this restaurant! I've had 3 food deliveries, so far, and everything has been delicious and freshly made. My parents like the short ribs, bbq chicken, bbq beef, and teriyaki chicken. They even love the shredded cabbage and macaroni salad. I usually order the sushi rolls. All good! Today I also ordered the BBQ chicken salad and it looks freshly made. Yesterday was the 2nd time I've eaten at AA Hawaiian bbq, the first time was decent but I can't say it outdoes the competitors. As much as I would like to leave a good review for this new up and coming business I cannot.. yesterday I decided to try something new and I ordered the crispy shrimp and the BBQ beef,the beef was very fatty and it had multiple pieces that were too hard for me to even chew. Now to get to the part why I am giving 1 star. The shrimp was not what I expected at all, but I still gave it a try and later that night found myself vomiting over the toilet from food poisoning. Food is decent, but the customer service is horrible!!!!! They are sooooo stingy with sauces!!!! I tried buying 2 sauces and I had no more cash so I asked to pay with my debit card. Called to ask about why my Thai tea was missing a third of the amount. I called and she said that because it doesn't have any ice then some would be missing . I told her I was confused on why I paid 5 dollars for basically half a drink with soggy boba. She attempted to put me on hold and I heard her say I was angry and arguing with her , but I was just asking a simple question. I would not recommend eating there!! read more

The whole family got food from here and they all seemed to like it. Husband loves the sushi rolls. He's tried most of them already. They have been here three times already trying different combos. I've only had it once and it was good. The chicken katsu was a little hard on the ends. But I also rewarmed my food when they brought it home. But will definitely try again. read more

Double Tuna roll is delicious. They don't skimp on the spicy tuna either, it's not mostly rice like a lot of places. Haven't tried any other rolls yet because I love this one and it's too big to order a second roll. Finally don't have to drive to the West side to get a good sushi roll. read more

We usually order @ once a week. it's the one thing I want after dialysis. Teriyaki chicken is my favorite, and I finally tried the short rib, TOTALLY delicious!! it's served as a traditionally Hawaiian 2-scoop (rice, macaroni salad) and a large serving lasts me a couple of meals. I have to add that their Mac salad has improved greatly since my first order, too. I highly recommend! read more

The food was okay but not spectacular. For the price I expected more. I doubt I will ever be back. The Loco moco was a huge disappointment. The egg was way overcooked and what happened to the gravy? As other reviews stated, they were very stingy with their sauces. An example would be the coconut shrimp, it was kind of dry and was lacking sauce. I have been there 3 times in past week to try different menu items. Seafood is fresh, food is on point, and you get a lot for what your paying. The menu has a lot of variety from health conscious choices down to cheeseburgers and fries. Staff are polite and professional.
