Decent and clean nail salon. They actually have a product called CnD nail polish which is guaranteed to not chip or break for 7 days. It's doesn't have uv Rays and your putting your hand under a light or anything. It goes on like regular polish and has a regular scent. I use it all the time and love it. They do an 'ok' job on your feet if your going a basic pedicure. Of course they roll out the red carpet and put some muscle in when you pay extra for a spa pedi. You can get a mani/pedi done in about an hour which makes it great for when you only have an hours lunch break. Like most Asian nail salons they do rush you a bit but I think that it's just part of the industry. Get in and get out. Lol. read more

If you need a UV gel fill in....do not go here. I was there for over two hours for a fill in. I must have had half the jar of UV gel on my nails. It was so thick and overflowing into my cuticles. And when the woman was doing my nails, another one of the employees there was overseeing her do them as if the technician doing my nails was just learning how to do it. My nails are all different lengths, crooked going in every direction, and there is gel polish all over my cuticles. Quite frankly they look horrible. My nails look like a kid trying to color her own nails for the first time. Their usually busy as they have a well known rep in the FIDI area, so appts work best. Woman who did my nails was not paying attention at all. She didn't even look down at my feet until it was time to put the polish on. Then when it was time to pay she specifically asked for a tip. I've had every kind of manicure possible (UV gel, dip powder, regular, vinylux) and nothing stays on me for more than a week. Julie at AA nails gave me a dip powder manicure that she was so meticulous with, the only reason i went back after 1.5 weeks was because i needed a more "work-appropriate" color for my upcoming trip! I saw Lisa on my second visit last night and she did a wonderful job as well. Just be prepared that things cost extra here. Massages are extra, certain nail shapes cost extra, ombre costs extra, etc. But this is a given, in my opinion. If you want something specific, bring a photo of what you want. read more

Went in for a gel manicure, had the color picked out before sitting down. They were able to locate the gel color I wanted. The manicure was MISERABLE. The person was so disruptive I had to ask her to slow down because she kept knocking my fingers on things. Then when we finished, I looked at my nails and it was a completely different color than the nail polish was supposed to be. I had heard that some nail places marry bottles of nail polish to save on cost but I had never seen it before so blatantly done. They agreed it wasn't right and didn't offer to fix it or apologize for the mistake. The color I picked was a sparkly green color and I walked out with a flat purple color. This also must make the quality suffer because it's been 1 day and I have 2 chipped nails. And I'd rather pay for removal/new application elsewhere than step back into that. read more

I loved this place when it first opened. (Actually, all of the ladies in our office did)...but I can't deny that the quality of product has plummeted. When They first opened, the gel manicure and regular pedicure would last weeks with no issue, so even though there are quite a few other options in the neighborhood, our office remained loyal to them. However, towards the end of their first year, something changed ... and unless you're a "regular" gel nail enthusiast :) the next part may sound a bit odd. When you get a normal gel mani, they usually have a rhythm (from right pinky all the way to right thumb, then left pinky to left thumb -- or whatever works to make sure it's all completed evenly and properly).. this is how I've had them done for years, all over the country. Well, one day we noticed them doing one or two nails at a time, putting them in the light, then a couple other, no rhythm (one of the techs was actually getting confused at which ones she had done) so my friend asked why it was being done like that all of a sudden. The tech surprisingly told her that it's because some of the gel polishes were watered down so they may run if all nails are done at once. Wait, what?!? Funnily enough, this was precisely the time the gels started lasting maaaaybe two weeks max (and I'm being generous). I offered feedback to the manager and took my business elsewhere after this happened a couple times. Flash to a couple of weeks ago (over 9 months since my last visit), when I needed a later gel mani/pedi and this was the only one open. I spoke with Coco and she said she would specifically do my services to make sure they were done well. Disappointed to say that the GELS were literally peeling off within four days and my pedi (which usually lasts so long from other places) already had a chip within a week.. I'll take responsibility for going back and thinking it may have changed, but I felt it necessary to share my experience. Side Note - Coco is an absolute sweetheart and I only wish their quality of product paralleled her personality. Pros: Open late and on weekends Cons: I could have had a regular manicure every week for a month for the same price of the gel manicure that lasted four days. Some of the Gels for manicures are watered down, which ruins the integrity of the product...and their establishment. read more

They are honestly so mean. I work basically next door so in an ideal world this would be super convenient. I've gone during lunch and the lady told me the color I picked was ugly and it took her 20 minutes to do a gel manicure. She rushed through everything. Another time a woman was wearing gloves and couldn't get a feel on my nails whatsoever. She made me bleed and the paint looked like a 5 year old was blindfolded. There are some really nice caring women but they change staff like I change underwear so good luck having a favorite. Pros are good prices and lots of colors to choose from. I hate that I have to give them 1 star. I was walking by and saw that it was empty. Now I know why no one was there. First of all, there is no heat at this location. It's extremely difficult to take off your socks and shoes when it's freezing inside & then to stick your feet in water is an eye opening experience. As other customers started to trickle in they all kept their coats & hats on due to the temperature. The workers kept acting like they didn't know it was cold. Every time someone would ask about the lack of heat ...they acted like it was news to them. One of the ladies tried to blame it on the customers because "they open the door to come in." (???) The staff is nice but left my nails looking like they needed a re-do & all of my cuticles are cut due to being nicked. They nickel and dime you for every possible service. After I answered their question with a polite "No" she would ask the same question in another manner. As if I would give her another answer. While working on my hands I had to wait for the primer to melt. Yes, it was frozen solid. She ran to put the bottle in a bowl of water but then ran to the back to heat up the water. I wonder why she didn't open a new bottle. The customer sitting next to me grabbed the file & fixed her nail herself. "No, it's going to look ugly. In fact, I'll just have a basic manicure so I can get out of here." I usually get my eyebrows done but I followed my gut & skipped the procedure. Since I noticed that they were using one time use products on multiple customers. Personally I will not be returning to this location. Don't waste your time or your money. read more

I needed a new nail place and thought I would try AA out since it's close to my work. It's a no muss, no fuss nail place. They try and push people in and out quickly and it's always busy whenever I pop in, but they are usually able to seat me right away. Cost for a gel mani and regular pedi very reasonable. They do try to push more services on you though with a massage or a spa pedicure package. If you're going for a quick mani and pedi this place is great. This place has never been great but now it's awful. Newer staff are terrible. They always charged extra for quick dry, which is so weird bc it was never actually quick dry. Then recently they got the actual quick dry droplets---but you have to beg them for it. They hide it behind the front desk---bizarre. The last few times I've gone I've had a newer woman. Nails turned out awful. This last time I went home and waited two hours before doing anything, changed my clothes, looked down and all my nails were ruined. Polish never dried. Same for toes.
