No longer a conveyor belt sushi place since the pandemic; they still serve sushi made-to-order in small color-coordinated plates. Great for people like me who like to try lots of different plates without committing to just one flavor. The service is prompt and they don't hover, which I appreciate. The sushi and various rolls and appetizers are fresh and good quality for the price. This could have been a 4 star place if the restaurant itself was cleaner. The wall under the conveyor belt was grimey (not something you wanna stare at while eating) and the bathroom could use attention.... Management needs to roll up their sleeves and give this place a thorough cleaning and do some much needed repairs (bathroom tile is coming off the wall, baseboard needs painting, they need to put away their cleaning supplies out of sight of customers, the whole restaurant needs scrubbing from top-to-bottom, etc.) Their Dept of Health rating is "Good" and I can see why.... If they can address these issues then this would a great place to bring your friends for some good sushi but as it stands, not sure if I'd want to show this place off to my buddies. read more

We placed a large order for take-out, and they had gotten everything right. The sushi is fresh, bright, and tastes fantastic. I also love the chicken katsu, the Miso soup, and one of my favorite rolls is the Caterpillar Roll; it has Eel, cucumber topped with avocado, and eel sauce! We came here for the first time and it was such an amazing experience! The must haves are Super Bowl roll, Godzilla Roll, Dragon Roll, Udon, and the spicy scallop hand roll (I even ordered seconds). This is a review for the pickup experience. We ordered sushi here a few times in the past year. The sushi rolls are smaller than what we get at other restaurants but the price is also lower. So if you think you don't have enough food, order a few more rolls. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Menu is easy to read. I have placed a pickup order over the phone and in person; and each time they called me when it was ready. Gave us plenty of ginger and wasabi. Offered kids chop sticks without me asking. I enjoy eating eel so I ordered most of the items on the menu with eel. They tasted great especially for the price. I only wish I ordered a little more each time. I was looking for conveyor belt sushi for a quick lunch and came upon this place! They have reasonable prices, friendly service, and fresh fish. I felt really taken care of as staff were conscientious to refill our drinks and check on our needs often. Payment was also quick as the server brought a payment tablet to our table when we asked for the check so there was no wait. The only downside is that parking is limited and can be pretty frustrating even on a Tuesday afternoon. All that being said, I would definitely visit them again if I were in town. read more

This was my first experience with a sushi train! I'd previously been a bit suspicious of it in case there were uneaten dishes that went around for hours, but we came here to try the lunch special ($1.75 all plates) and it was great! There was a pretty decent crowd of people, and definitely enough to keep the sushi on the belt fresh. We were also seated next to the bit where the chef was making fresh sushi in front of us, so we could ask him directly about the sushi (it was kind of hard to track what things were on the menu before they went away!). He also made us some specials that weren't coming around on the belt that we wanted when he heard us talking about them, which was really cool. He recommended a few combinations and also made it clear when things weren't going to be belt prices, which I appreciated. Service was friendly, albeit a bit slow. There were two tables across from us where the customers left and their dirty dishes were left there for over 10 minutes. I think there was only one waitstaff on duty for the whole restaurant, and with the layout of the restaurant they could probably have done with two or more. Even though it was obvious he was super busy, he took the time to chat with the customers, and made sure that they were doing okay and had full teacups and water glasses. The prices were insanely good. It was under $10 for each of us including tax and tip. While this place isn't anything super fancy, it's great to catch a quick and cheap lunch. This is the second I've ordered Togo from AA sushi and I'm amazed at the quality of the sushi! My favorite rolls are mango roll and the super aa roll and they have fish packed handrolls! I also ordered some nigiris and I was quite surprised when they fried the shrimp head that comes with my Ama Ebi because most casual sushi restaurants don't do that. Went here for lunch today, it was pretty average. Ordered a bunch of stuff from the menu I think the deep fried mushroom roll was the most flavorful and most interesting. The ramen was bland and tasted like Top ramen; we didn't eat the tempura because it came with sweet chili sauce which I never have seen served with tempura, I wanted the warm brownish sauce. When I asked they brought me hoisin. She saw we didn't touch it and a good server would have asked if something was wrong... When I review an establishment I try my best to be thorough because I honestly believe that good food and local small businesses should be acknowledged and greatly supported. With this in mind let me begin. Anthony and Charles are two of the most amazing, friendly brothers and staff member's at AA Sushi that feel as though they are one with the restaurant. I spent countless moments with Anthony going over their menu and talking in great length about the freshness of their ingredients. His passion for sushi and people are uncanny. Walking me through their process, and showing me the pride he has for this sushi place is one I have seen very rarely. Their lunch is well priced and if you order something not on the belt just ask if they can match the lunch pricing. Dinner is normally packed to the gills but you can still stuff you face for $25 bucks. This is about what it takes for me. Keep in mind though I am vegan and LOVE their Lampian and Veggie rolls. Everything is fresh. Lunch is made during the lunch period and when they close around 3pm they clear everything out, sanitize and prepare for lunch around 4:30pm. Completely refreshed and new. Even their fish comes in at two separate times to ensure the safety and cleanliness of eating raw food. I tried AA sushi for the first time yesterday. I live nearby, and see it pretty busy often so I thought I would give it a try. All I have to say is RAW CHICKEN. I am pregnant and I ate raw teriyaki chicken. They cut their teriyaki chicken into bite size pieces and coat it in sauce, so if I didn't realize what I was chewing was raw or had given it to a child, they would have probably ate all of it. They did give me Katsu chicken instead- but my boyfriend and I couldn't even finish our food because we were so disgusted. read more
