Where should I start. Fred is booking seemed nice enough. Told me about how AAA Anytime was not affiliated with the actual AAA car club but they did work with them. He also proudly stated that they also do vehicle transport for the Army. When I asked him for corroboration for either he said it's "widely known in the industry that they're two of our biggest customers". So LIE #1. But he honestly seems like an affable dude and compared to the other slimeballs I had spoken too from other companies, seemed to be more legitimate. One of the things Fred told me that a distinction between AAA Anytime and other transport companies is that Anytime does their own transport. They don't contract out to other transport companies so I wouldn't have to worry about a strange person coming for the car. They'd be with Anytime. LIE #2! Fred also went on to tell me that the driver would call a day in advance to determine a time window that best fit my work schedule. LIE #3! The driver, from Raptor Transport (not Anytime transport) called and said "I'm here, where's your car"). Yo which is said who are you and wtf are you talking about. I told him to wait while I called customer service. Customer Service verified that Raptor Transport was their contracted company for my vehicle and that the driver would wait while I hit my work covered and also packed more things in the trunk. When I said why isn't Anytime AAA transporting my vehicle she said we don't transport, we schedule other companies for that part. To which I lost it on her. As the driver loads the car up he tells me that he can get the car to my residence across the country a couple days early. I told him great but not great. No one will be there and my contract with anytime said that it will not, can not, won't be, delivered any sooner than a specific date. So then I call CS again. Spoke with the same agent. She says, " no, no no he can't do that. The contracted date is the earliest he will drop it to you, because if he gets there and there is no one to receive the vehicle, then we have all kinds of problems. I will call him now to make sure he knows". Today, while no one is home I get a text, barely legible that says "hi I'm with your car". Yo which I again responded " who is this, and wtf are you talking about". This is you driving I have your car, where are you", I told him FU don't call or text me until I call CS. Before I can do that they call me..."We're sorry for the inconvenience. The driver got there early and he can't wait. I tell them I can't be home for at least 4 hours and no one else is there,. He offers to leave it in the driveway and the keys in the mailbox, To which I said, are you effing stupid. He said what else can we do. I said how about honoring the contract! The only option was to offload it into the driveway and leave the keys at an agreed upon "safe spot" on the property in view of a camera. Car people, please read! Do not hire these people! Recently I shipped four vehicles from my home in Los Angeles California to Spokane WA. I was told that they were affiliated with AAA, that they are not brokers and that they owned their own trucks. My vehicles would be loaded on a truck and transported straight to the location without transferring to a different truck and it would be the same drivers from start to finish with no transfer lots. I was also promised that I would be notified 24 hours in advance of pickup and drop off. ALL OF THIS WAS A LIE! I knew I was in trouble when the driver called me. and said he was coming from Long Beach and would be at my house in a couple of hours. No advanced 24-hour warning. OK, no problem, I agreed and gave him clear instructions on what street to park on and that I would bring the cars out of my residential neighborhood to meet the truck. About an hour later I got a call from the driver that he was on my street. He has pulled an eighty-foot car hauler onto a residential street in LA!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have ever been on a residential street in LA, you know how narrow they are. SUVs have a tough time, much less a 10-vehicle car hauler! To make matters worse, he decided to try to turn down a side street and got stuck. It took a lot of wrangling to get him to back up and get straight again. By this time, it's eight o'clock on a school night and the neighbors are getting understandably upset about the commotion. To make a long story short, after blocking three driveways and an argument with an armed security guard, it took two drivers three and a half hours to load four cars. The incompetence was staggering, and they acted like they just didn't care! They finally left at 11:30 PM, barely missing some powerlines on the way out. Fast forward five days. We are in Spokane Washington, waiting for the truck to arrive. My phone rings and I am told that the truck with my four cars will be there in fifteen minutes. AGAIN, what happened to 24-hour notice? I am also told three of my four cars won't start. Funny, they all ran fine when they were loaded, what happened? I argued with the woman on the phone about this fact and she finally dropped it. I suspect they were trying to shake me down for more money. I rushed to the drop-off location to find a completely different truck and drivers. What happened to the guarantee of the same truck and drivers for the entire trip? Not only that, but my cars are also filthy. They are covered in mud. It's caked in the tires and splashed up on the paint and glass. The new pair of drivers are mad at me because they were told that they were picking up one car from a transfer lot, only to arrive and find four cars, three of which won't start. The batteries are stone dead, like the lights got left on. I explained to the guys what was going on and they calmed down. We jumpstarted the cars and got them off the truck. If you call AAA Anytime, a guy with a New Jersey accent will answer. Call back, you will get the same guy, same accent, but he will give you a different name. Call the number that he gives you for dispatch and you can hear Mr. New Jersey in the background. It's two guys working out of one room trying to pretend it's a big operation. DO USE THIS COMPANY! I booked (and paid in advance) to have my car transported from NH to UT with a pick up date of 10/14/21 (Friday). I called several days to confirm a estimated time and was told it was too far out to confirm and to call back on Wednesday. I called again and they told me it would be the afternoon and I would receive a call that morning from the driver. After not hearing from anyone by 1:00 I called and was told that it would not be that day but Saturday or Sunday. I explained that was totally unacceptable as I was flying out the next morning and someone needed to pick up the car. I was told I could leave it with a neighbor or someone else or simply leave the keys in it for the driver on the side of the road! WHAT??? Seriously? I demanded a refund and was told I would need to email the number on the contract. I did requesting a refund. No response. My husband called and was told the same thing. He emailed them well. Again, no response. I had to pay another company to transport my vehicle. Two months later we are still fighting our credit card company and this despicable company to get our money back. They lied to the credit card company stating that they showed up and we "refused" to let them transport the car. Ummm... who would do that? We have phone logs showing attempts to contact them, emails asking to refund our money due to their failure to provide service as contracted as well as proof they did not transport the vehicle. Reserved my car transportation 6 weeks in advance credit card charged at reservation. Day of schedule pick up came with out contact. I called customer service and was told drive was in the next major city (100 miles). They may night make it on scheduled day. It would be the next day. They had six weeks to schedule me but were unable to do there job. The next day I again didn't here from them. Called customer service they were unable to contact driver. They called me later and said the truck just broke they will refund my money or get it next week. I scheduled in accordance with my travel plans. First off, a message to the owner of AAA Anytime Inc (who I know will respond to this in retaliation), one of my family members was a customer but I did deal with the company through phone calls. Therefore I have every right to review. My family's car was supposed to be transported from the Midwest to the East Coast. They took my families money up front which should have been red flag #1 but they provided my family with the best possible rate. As soon as the money was taken to start the transport, we all started to realize we all had been scammed. The friendly interactions instantly disappeared. The day the car was supposed to be picked up and transported we were informed that one of their trucks broke down and they were unable to make the scheduled time but would be there as soon as they could. DAYS later we called once again to see where the driver was. The representative spoke to us like we were an inconvenience for calling. She told us that the driver would be on the way soon. The day my family was supposed to fly out to where the car was being located, the driver still wasn't there to pick up the car. After multiple calls we explained our situation and the lady was not friendly. She insisted that we change our plans to accommodate their mistakes because someone had to be there to pick up the car. This was when I got involved. After a long drive to my families house as they flew out I waited for the driver to show up. No one came. I was there from 5 to 8. After calling 5-9 times I spoke to a man who I now believe to be the owner and he was mad saying he was tried of hearing all of these phone calls from my family. I explained my situation and he said, "Your time is not important to me. Your time is not my time and mine is more important to me and you are wasting it." I left the house. We got a call saying the driver was there to pick up the car but no one was there. A neighbor was able to give the keys to the driver. We put a tracker in the car to insure we knew where it was. He would stop at truck stops for more than 12 hours. Finally we get a call from the driver saying he was less than an hour away from the delivery point yet when we looked at the location he was in a whole different state. When we told him he went to the wrong state the driver became angry. He said that he wouldn't deliver the car unless we paid more. We just insisted as our family needed the car. He began driving again but called us saying he needed to stop at his house that was near by. He car sat there overnight. My family called once again and spoke to the owner who was very vulgar. He told my family he hopes our children die and to shove objects up my mothers a** and hung up. This was recorded. A day later the car was delivered to the correct place. The driver didn't have us sign anything which seems very unprofessional. My advice to anyone looking at this company is to find something else. They are scam artist. They did move my vehicle, but almost everything that they told me was a lie. "We have our own trucks and we'd never broker your transportation." TOTAL lie. My vehicle was transported by two sketchy guys who were, by their own admission, subcontractors. "We will get it to you by Saturday, probably earlier." Lie. I waited all afternoon and evening -- until midnight. Never showed up. No word from them either. I called them on Sunday, "it will be there by 6pm, they said." It showed up closer to 10pm. Their trailer was a POS with sh--tty ramps that could've damaged my precious car. F-- that. This company is all about over promise under deliver... my pickup was scheduled for 3/24-3/28/2022. I was told the latest pickup date would be 3/28/2022. As the date rolled around I waited all day with no communication I called the company and they immediately blamed the truck driver and said he was running late in Vermont and they would call me back. They never did. I called back and they stated it would now be Wednesday 3/30/2022 for pickup. So I waited to hear. As the date arrived the same story... no communication, after several calls were put in to AAA anytime they stated it would be Thursday as the driver has issues with the truck. Thursday 3/31/2022 and again same story... nothing , I had to yet again call and find out what was going on with my transport.. and they now stated it would be Friday 4/1/2022 morning. The truck driver arrived at the dealer after 1 pm.. he picked the vehicle up and started his drive to Indiana. The truck was delivered to my house on Saturday 4/2/2021 at 11:15 pm... which I find ridiculous I had to wait that late in the night for the truck to arrive which was originally suppose to arrive at 6-7pm. The truck driver told the dealership that would be the arrival. Regardless I understand things happen and the truck driver was professional and polite. However this company dropped the ball huge... the are piss poor on customer service and very quick to collect FULL payment upfront. Do your homework folks.. it's not worth the stress with this company , go with someone who can communicate and appreciates the business. They also claim to be affiliated with AAA and they are not.. misleading from the start. They will NOT honor their contract and they will not call you back when they claim they will. We had a pretty bad experience shipping our car with AAA Anytime. Before you give these guys any money, you should know these guys don't actually ship cars. They are a broker that contracts other people to ship cars for them. Once you pay them your deposit, they have no interest in assisting you at all. Here is a rundown of our experience. First, the shipping company picked up the car days later then expected (we were told they would pick up the car on Friday or Saturday and after a dozen call to both AAA Anythime and the actually shipping company, and my in-laws giving up their weekend to wait for someone to pick up our car, they did not end up showing up for the car until late Tuesday evening.). Second, after the car had been in transit for a couple of days, we had been contacted by the shipping company and were told our car would be delivered on the following Sunday or Monday, the car was instead delivered at 6am on Saturday morning. We received no advanced warning and woke up at 8am with 10+ missed calls, voicemails and texts from the driver who had been waiting for us in a nearby parking lot for 2 hours. Third, when we met the driver to pick up the car, it was raining and he was in a hurry to get on the road (as he had been waiting for us for over 2 hours). He did not give us a chance to inspect the car and instead made us sign the contract and said several times, that if there were any problems to call his company. Fourth, the next day (Sunday) we discovered a pretty good sized dent in the roof and that the whole car was covered in scratches. It looked like the car was driven through some trees. On Monday morning I contacted the shipping company to talk to them about it, and was told that since I had signed the contract that there was nothing they could do. They did say they would look in to it and call me back. We have not heard from them. We did call back and were told again that because we signed the contract, they couldn't help us. I can't blame them entirely because I should have insisted on inspecting the car before signing. But I felt bad that he had been waiting and he rushed and reassured us more then once that if there were any problems to call his company This whole process has left me with a bad taste in my month. I can't imagine wanting to ship my car again in the future. Once you consider the cost of shipping and repairs, it would be been much cheaper for us to just drive the vehicle out here ourselves. My daughter car was never picked up nor were we phone called that the "truck broke down." We scheduled and paid gor service 3/18/2018 For pickup 5/20/2018, no show. On 5/21/2018 we callef and that's when they said "truck broke down" how original ...lol. we asked why didnt you call just an apology. We asked, why didn't you call.. etc... no good reason. We asked for refund they stated will be refunded in 10 days, we did follow up a couple hours later, they say request refund on the confirmation email, we did. SO FAR HORRIBLE! I will change this rating IF THEY EVER PICK UP MY CAR. I paid for service in full when I scheduled the delivery of my vehicle back on 7/18/2018 to be picked up in CA on 8/4/18 to be delivered to Texas on 8/7/18 because I was flying into Texas that day. They told me they owned their own trucks, they had their own fleet and would know where the trucks were at all times. The DAY OF MY PICK UP 8/4/18 I never got a phone call. I was the one calling the company for an update. They told me it was next to be picked up that the truck driver would call me to give me a two hour window of time for pick up. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME. I called them again, once they got the driver on the phone the lady told me that the truck broke down and they couldn't get another driver out to Get my car until NEXT THURSDAY 8/9/18! I would be in Texas by then and had to scramble for LAST MINUTE ACCOMMODATIONS! Again, 8/9/18 was yesterday and NOBODY CALLED ME! I had to call them again for an update. The truck driver is going to pick up your car next she said. They will call your contact on record before they head there she said. I find out that THEY NEVER CALLED AND NEVER PICKED UP MY CAR. It is now 8/10/18 a week later and I called them for an update again. She was oblivious that my car was never picked up. She is now telling me it will be early this afternoon they'll call me contact to pick up the vehicle. I HAVE NO TRUST in this company. Don't do business with them. I think the previous high star rating was done by one of their own employees. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau if they don't resolve this issue. The inconvenience, headache and time wasted by me and everyone involved waiting for them to do the job they were paid to do is unbelievable. They were very fast to take your deposit and promised me pick up my car within two days. After dozens of call for questioning them for the driver no call no show , they kept lying and lying. .until finally said the truck was broken near you and won't be able to pick up until September. I have a military order and need to report to the base in that destination. I ended up cancel my flight , booked hotels in two states and drove three days for 1700 miles . This company also is rated F in Better Business Bureau, where lots of complaints have been filled. AAA will not refund your deposit and will not claim you as their customer if you fill a complaint since they will not disclose you the shipping order ID for others to track down the history. With the help from other company , I found out my order hidden ID is #071784 . They are here to rip you off and once the deposit is received , will leave you dry and wants nothing to do with you. When I first called this company I received awesome attention. I was really convinced this was the best company. Like I said filling out the paper work and getting ready to make payment was a great experience. I was promised a pick up time, delivery time, and guaranteed hassle free shipment. Well, once they received my money, I was treated like a second class citizen. The driver showed up 2 days early and demanded the vehicle to be ready. I called AAA anytime to discuss my contract agreement, and I was asked "why are you calling here starting trouble" the guy was the same guy who so generous when he was taking my money but had to nerve to say I was starting trouble because I had questions about the inconsistencies of my contract. He literally threaten me not to call back because I'm making trouble for myself. To add insult to injury my sons car was delivered a day late. The transport truck broke down several times "at least that's what I was told" I must admit my driver Francisco communicated very well throughout the whole deal. We contracted with them for the pick up our car from Oklahoma to California. They told us it would be picked up on 7/28 or 7/29 and delivered to our house in 2 or 3 days. They even as us about storage fees. We told them we had a week before fees would be charged. A week later we get a call from Oklahoma saying they haven't picked it up yet and no one has contacted them to make arrangements for the pick up. When we call customer service we're told they're picking it up tomorrow. This is very frustrating. We'll see what happens. Terrible shipping company. they were supposed to arrive on tuesday or Wednesday, they changed the pick up to thursday. then they informed me they couldnt come on thursday and it was changed to FridAy. They demanded payment in full 30 days prior which we did and they said it was essentially buying a ticket for transport and guaranteed our car would be picked up on 1/5/20. They called on 1/3/20 saying driver would reach out to us and get car on 1/5/20 and that never happened. I called on 1/5/20 they said truck was broken down until 1/7/20 or 1/8/20 and we would get car picked up after. Here is my daughter in a strange new town and state with no car no belongings and waiting for this company to deliver her car. Those dates came and went and phone calls were never answered or returned! Finally on 1/8/20 they said truck would arrive on 1/9/20 which it did not and they said the same on 1/10/20 and on 1/11/20 which of course it did not! On 1/11/20 that afternoon the rude office lady said sorry we can't provide you a transport after all so we will issue a refund which has yet to appear! This company is a total scam! They required prepayment 30 days prior to our transport date claiming it to be a ticket for transport. When our transport date came, they said their truck was broken down and would be another day or 2. Those days came and went and still no transport. After calling daily and dealing with the very ride woman in the office regarding the failure to transport, she then says they are unable to transport and would issue a refund. Still haven't seen my refund! I've already contacted another company, who only required a deposit up front, and they have come and taken my vehicle and completed transport... and I still have not seen my refund from this scam!!! Also, by law all Brokers have a $75,000 surety bond that they must secure in order to operate, you can file a claim with their bond company. The name of the bond company is SureTec Insurance Company in California and the bond # is 3391156. (call them and tell them you want to file a claim as a shipper against this bond and they should connect you with the Claims Examiner that handles this bond) Everybody's experience with this shady business is different but based on a lot of the reviews here many of us have experienced the same unethical business practice in which "Rich/Richard" lies and says they are using their own trucks to transport your vehicle only to find out that another business not bearing the same name is who arrives to pick up your car and if something goes wrong AAA will take no responsibility. I personally was not looking for a middle man and I would have never signed with AAA if they had represented themselves as a Broker instead of a carrier. If they get enough claims against their bond, hopefully the insurance company will pay the claims filed against them, or drop AAA as a customer and hopefully they will not be able to get a bond from anyone other company. This unscrupulous business cannot operate without a bond. Would never use them again. Car was late being picked up and a week late on delivery. There was zero communication from them on when the car arrived. When I called all they said was i had to wait for a call from the driver, they had no control and no idea where he was. They had zero sympathy and zero interest in helping me. BEWARE !!! / STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY / THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN FOR THEFT BY DECEPTION: IF you are out of state, they certainly will take advantage of you. The sales person lied to me to sign a contract to pickup my daughter's car who is in college. We made 7 day advance arrangements. The day of pickup I contacted them to get some info since I had not heard from them. The customer service rep had NO information concerning the vehicle pickup time or by whom. They just told me that somebody would get it. I waited couple more hrs and called back and customer service rep got real RUDE, then said to just leave my car on street with key inside and somebody will pick it up. I was at full frustration now since I was in Miami, FL with vehicle and scheduled to fly out next day. I never heard anything back from them that day. I found another company and had the car shipped out early next day. I have requested a REFUND because they could not honor or perform the service. I contacted the BBB for Las Vegas for assistance and they lied to the BBB and still did not refund me. AAA anytime has a practice of taking advantage of people by offering a low rate, collecting the funds in advance, then not performing the service especially if you are outside the state of Nevada where it would be more costly to sue or bring charges against them. There is a pattern to their criminal practice and they should be shut down. I would NOT recommend anyone to use this company. I would give this company zero stars if I could. I am a first year teacher who mad a cross country move scrapping up all I could do have my car transported out to Florida from California. I made payment may 23th for June 24th pick up. They cancelled THREE DAYS before pick up saying their truck had "broken down" and if I couldn't wait the extra 3 weeks it was going to take they would process a refund. I asked for the refund since I was moving alone to a completely new state and needed my car. I had to pay another company what I paid aaa plus an extra 400$ expecting a refund from AAA since THEY cancelled on me. When I hadn't received the refund 3 weeks later I was told they would put a stop payment and send another check. Three weeks after that no check I called again and someone else said they would do a stop payment on the check from JUNE. I said I called in July and was told that was already done and they said there was no record of it. We are now almost in September and I have still yet to receive my refund. They STOLE my money and took advantage of a 23 year old and stole 1,000 dollars from me. I was naive because their reviews on google was a 4.1 wish I would have seen yelp instead these are the accurate reviews. This company is unprofessional and is out to take your money. My friends witnessed the conversations with this company and will also be writing reviews. Anyone seeing this review please post on google reviews so no one gets tricked into thinking this is a reliable company like I did. 1,000 dollars is a lot of money and it impacted me greatly especially when trying to afford setting up my first classroom and moving across country at the same time. I would give this company 0 stars if it allowed me to. Our vehicle was delayed being picked up by 7 days, we had to enlist our friends in assisting in the pickup as we were leaving to drive cross country. Upon pick up the truck driver tried to get $100 from our friends, after we had a receipt that said $0 balance. Delivery took 8 days, more than the 4-6 days we were told. Upon delivery, the truck driver said he was misinformed of the dimensions of the vehicle by AAA Anytime and he was entilted to $100. This was after hours so of course no one from the company was able to assist us or back us up on this. We however left a message 5 days ago with our concerns and have yet to get a call back. We ended up paying $100 to get the vehicle, because we felt that's all we could do at the time. I called the customer service line to discuss all these details and after all said and done she replied "so why is it exactly you're calling to complain, you have your vehicle?" This business is a fraud. Beware. I scheduled a car pick up and was told that the driver encountered mechanical issues. I was rescheduled for four days later and the driver never showed up. I called five times and was told five different stories. Finally I was hung up on. The guy who runs this scam is a real con artist. He told me that he was not a broker and that's why he was cheaper than the rest because there was no middleman. He also told me that I got a AAA discount because they were affiliated with AAA which is untrue. He told me that the rest of the car shipping companies were scam artist and that they would holdMy car ransom for payment.
