I wish I would have done my research before using AAA Anytime. The Booking Department man was very approachable and accommodating while booking my car to be transported on March 8th. However, every single person at the Customer Service Department has the absolute worst customer service skills I have ever encountered. I changed my pick-up date to March 1st and was charged an additional $200 for the date change. I was aware of this because of the contract. However, three days before my pick-up, they called me and said because of maintenance issues, they had to pick up my car the next day. I politely asked if I could please be refunded my $200 because now they are changing the date on me and I shouldn't be charged for a date change when they are now changing it on me. They said no. No refunds will be given. I asked to speak to a manager or coordinator and they said "managers don't talk on the phone, only email." I was in disbelief of this response. What company doesn't have a leader available by phone? This was my first huge red flag. Then, the company CANCELED our pick up because we were arguing about our $200 that we should be refunded. And they said the only way to re-schedule would be to pay ANOTHER $200 on top of what I've already paid. They operate under deceptive business practices. You normally start off talking to a female and then a man gets on the phone to close the deal. The man is Mitchel Winik the owner. He will say his name is Richard or Peter or Michael but never his real name. He will offer refunds if you cancel, tell you there are no change fees, say the drivers work for him, say they won't charge the full amount up front and tell you it's ok to ship personal items inside the vehicle. None of it is true if you read the terms and conditions he has you sign as he says you are just making a reservation. Once he charges you then the games begin. You will get fed up and ask to cancel and then he will say no refunds. Mitch will also say you were never a customer as his response when you post a bad review. I hired this highly unprofessional company to move my Audi for me on a flat bed trailer 4 hours away. The driver destroyed the whole underneath of the front when taking it off the flat bed. He didn't have the ramp positioned correctly. I had a fence contractor at the house giving me an estimate at the time and he witnessed the damage. The driver tried to say it was like this before. Both of us saw it happen in real time and were flabbergasted that he would blatantly lie to our faces like this. Found out that they didn't have insurance to be transporting an exotic car and the driver would have to pay half of the 5K damage. They were beyond rude when I tried to deal with them and they will not give you a phone # to speak with management, only an email that will never be answered. These guy's take payment and contract out the job to the lowest bidder and washes their hands of the whole contract once they receive payment. Please do yourself a huge favor and learn from my mistake and find someone else that will do the job themselves. These guys are a middleman and do not stand by their product and service. They are very nice at first until you have a problem then they become nasty and rude and will actually hang up on you like a petulant child. I used this service in 2010 and had no problems. I referred it to a friend who shipped her car from NC to CA with no problem. Feeling confident in the business, I booked their services to ship my car across the country. HUGE mistake. The car was picked up after business hours and the driver said that b/c the belongings in the car were more than 50 lbs (!) I would have to pay an additional $200 COD. I asked a number of questions, not least being that this was not on my contract, but he insisted. Seeing as we were moving, we had no choice and gave him the car. I didn't pay any money or sign any agreements. I then called AAA Anytime, they said this was ridiculous and they set up a phone convo with the contractor (the driver's company--AY Trucking). I did this, and the woman I spoke with ultimately held my car hostage, saying if I did not agree to pay the extra money I would not get my car back, even when I questioned how this was legal because my contract said nothing of the sort. But, being extorted, I had little choice so obviously I eventually agreed. Again, I signed nothing. I called AAA Anytime and they told me 1) not to call AY Trucking again, and 2) to pay the driver $200 in cash, get that in writing, and contact them afterward and they would get me my money back and try to get the driver's commercial license revoked. When the car arrived I did exactly that, then contacted AAA Anytime; they told me to email a copy of my receipt. One week later Iater I hadn't heard anything so I contacted them again. At this point I spoke with the same customer service person (a very cheerful woman named Stacey who, beware, is not actually friendly) who would not let me speak--she interrupted me at every turn--and told me first that they had documentation that I signed that I was ok with paying $200 back at the pickup. (I didn't.) Then she said that I should have contacted AAA Anytime before I paid. (I did this.) She said there was no record of this, and that they wouldn't have told me to pay. (I did contact her, I had my conversations documented and timestamped, and they told me to do exactly what I did.) Then she said that it was actually fine that I paid the $200 to the driver. (This is a big 180, and not on the contract.) I asked if I could speak and she said, and I quote, "no." and then hung up on me. I tried calling back a number of times until she finally answered the phone. When I finally got through she hung up on me again. I kept trying to call and she answered one last time. I asked if I could have the contact information for the president or CEO and she said that she was in charge of customer service (which is not an answer) and then hung up on me. I tried calling the booking number to get a different contact number and the man on that line, Jerry, who had previously been nothing but friendly, first told me that I had the wrong number and should call my auto club (????) and then told me that there were no additional contacts to whom I could lodge a complaint, then brusquely ended the conversation. Obviously I was not pleased. But it's not over! I then went back to the friend I had referred their service to so I could make sure she wouldn't use them again. Turns out, she had to move her car back across the country and the *exact same thing* happened to her just a couple of months earlier, except to the tune of $1000. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Not only was I actually extorted by the contracting company, I was lied to and treated *incredibly* poorly. I had to drive much farther than planned to meet a truck that was already late. I had to put the actual truck company & "Peter" on a conference call in order to figure out how I would get the process (that I'd already paid AAAAnytime to do) going because my timeline was already messed up. I wish I would've yelped them like I typically do everything else. Better Business Bureau has given them an F. I called today to figure out why after 6 days my car is still not here. Thankfully I still had the truck company (who is actually moving it) in my call log so I called them first and they told me that it is still in transit and wouldn't arrive for another 4 days. My husband is a car hauler, after picking up a car for AAA Anytime from a customer in Austin, TX and delivering it to Denver, CO. He sent in his BOL and additional documents for payment. I will preface with my husband is a one man operation, he books the cars, picks up the cars and delivers them, he also invoices and follows up on the payments. After the car was delivered over a week ago he decided to contact AAA Anytime regarding payment. What he had discussed with the dispatch person prior to picking up the car was that, checks go out ONLY ON Friday's, he was told to put the BOL in by Wednesday to have the payment go out that week Friday. My husband submitted his BOL Wednesday and was expecting his check would go out Friday. When the ACH payment didn't come through on Friday he called and left a message to have someone call him back. My husband did not receive a call back on Friday and so then called again on Saturday. It just so happens the same gentleman that dispatched the car was the one that called him back. He told my husband he remembered speaking to him prior to dispatch and he explained that there might have been some confusion and to call the office Tuesday after Memorial Day to have them correct the issue. After many phone calls today we have learned that this company not only misrepresents them selves as a transportation company which they are not. But they also, lie to their clients to get their business, and to the truck drivers who they outsource their transports to. Before you work with them check out AAA Anytime, Inc out of Las Vegas. Just google them, and be carful their is a similarly named company that has great reviews so be careful. The BBB has 20 complaints on them in just one year. Additionally they charge clients 5% to 10% more than other transport or brokers. Take the extra time to price compare before using them, you could find it cheaper and better service. Where do I begin. Well, if I could assign this business no star, then that is what I'd do. Save yourself a lot of grief and anger by NOT doing business with this company. I was sucked in by the salesperson. A real smooth talker. They need a good course in customer service. They are rude, they speak over you and they even hang up on you. A quick rundown of what happened: On a Monday afternoon they called to say that the transport truck was on its way and would arrive later in the evening. Our "two day window" was Monday and Tuesday. By 10:45pm the transport vehicle never arrived. We called the company immediately to find out where the truck was. A woman answered and said she would contact the driver of the truck to find out where he was. By 11:15 she still hadn't gotten back to us. We called again. The woman said she left a message with the driver and was waiting to hear back. She said she would contact us in the morning. At 9:00am another call was placed. The answering service said they would pass along the message as URGENT. We even sent an email asking for a call back. By 12:00pm there was still no call back so we in turn called them to cancel. And that is where the horrific customer service comes in. They charged our credit card for the deposit. We knew that. But then they went ahead and charged the card for the balance due at delivery. To whom it may concern, We hired AAA Anytime, Inc. to ship our car on March 28,2019 and they were to pick car up between the dates of April 24, 2019 and April 28, 2019. They had to be paid in full on the day we hired them which was 03/28/19 and sign a paper saying it was non refundable. On Fri. the 25th of April I called and ask when they would be picking up the car they said probably Sat. or Sun. We didn't hear from them at all so I called them on Monday morning 04/29/19. They told me to stay on the line and they would call the truck driver, came back on line said they couldn't reach them so that was good news as they where probably were on the road, she said to call back in two hours if we haven't heard from them. Than I get a call from her saying the truck broke down and they couldn't get the car until next week-end. I told her we are leaving on May 2, 2019. She wanted me to have a neighbor or someone to let them turn the car over to them. Told them we could not. She told me we could not get a refund. I think if they are as big as they claim, there should be more trucks to take care of the problem. I didn't give it much thought I was ok with that as long as I got my vehicle by promised end of week. i called AAA Anytime inc customer service and agent to check on delivery status and the young lady stated will be delivered no later than Friday 02/27/15. i stated I really need my vehicle delivered as promised no later than Friday 02/27/15 as i have a very important family reunion event taking place on 02/28/15 in Miami so I won't be here Saturday. Agent at AAa Anytime stated yes will be delivered on Friday. I decide to call the driver that works for Darski autotrans on 02/27/15 to confirm he will deliver on time and his response was no that is a lie and impossible I can get your vehicle in by Saturday 02/28/15. At this point I am really upset and disappointed I called AAA Anytime Inc and spoke with Peter the customer service agent. As I was explaining my complaint to the rep named Peter he hung up on me and kept getting really unprofessional with me, i called again get the same representative named Peter and as i am trying to explain my complaint and the issue he hangs up on me again. Do not use this company!!! I arranged to have my car shipped from Florida to California. I choose this company because they move military members and I recently got out of the navy a few months ago. The driver was supposed to pick up the car between 5 and 6 pm. He was late showing up (didn't arrive until 8pm) and couldn't speak a word of English. He loaded up the car and left. AAA Anytime said it should take about 5 days to ship the car. The weather was good and I made sure that no big snow storms or anything else would delay the shipping. It has now been 9 days and I still don't have my car. The driver is not picking up his phone and nobody can get ahold of him. I called the customer service and was told that there is nothing they can do and they "cannot control if the driver answers his phone" The customer service is a joke, you can't even leave them a message after hours. Your only option is to call during business hours. I have spoken with 3 different people who said they would call me back; I have not received one call from the company. THE WORST EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE--Look elsewhere Trying to relocate my parents (with disabilities) to our home. The car was a major roadblock but with AAA confirmed and reserved date. Had people waiting on the other end to hand keys over after parents were headed north. Got call that they can't come on the day they were supposed to arrive. Forced to drive an old car4 states which we were trying to avoid. I was told they would take care of this...that other companies who do this will "charge you less" but on the day they are to pick it up the truck would break down and then you were "stuck." I couldn't afford that. Well guess what, that is exactly the experience THEY delivered. Picking the car up a week later when all parties have already moved is not acceptable. To make it worse, if you live on the eastern time zone you can't talk to anyone before noon....and then they can't track or talk to drivers/carriers (what they don't have cell phones??????HOw did they call to report the "BREAKDOWN"). Had to cancel transport a week ahead of time and they took 200.00 off the top for the cancellation fee. The total move was 450. So supposedly you get the remainder as a credit if used in a year. I had 2 cars to move from San Diego to San Francisco and they quoted me 1300.00 to move 2 mid sized cars. Called another place and they quoted me only 750.00 for the exact same thing. What joke. I had called around for the first car (shipping earlier) and this company was way more expensive but claimed they could ship the car in 5 days. When it came time for my move and to ship my 2nd car, i called them b/c even though they were $200 more expensive than other companies, they promised 5 days and that they would ship the car straight, no shipping it in a container. Whatever they promised me, they did the exact opposite!! My car arrived at 15days! - 3x what they promised. Very hard to get through to the firm that was actually doing the shipping (they were just a broker, even though initially they said they aren't). DO NOT USE THEM. I was rushed to complete the contract to have the car picked up on Monday as they were closing at 1:00 pm and not signing the contract after closing would delay pickup until Wednesday. I couldn't get anyone on the phone until Sunday and it was an answering service. They said they would pass on the message. I calle on Monday and talked to a man who said I had to cancel in writing and that there were no messages. I had already faxed a cancellation. He found that fax. Then I explained all that had transpired and requested a refund as they had not been able to honor the contract. He said he had no record of any of it and that I "was a liar." I told him that the woman I had worked with on the reservation could confirm all I said. He said there was no record at all except the contract saying that all that I had paid with my credit card was non-refundable. Worst experience ever! Though their rates are fairly attractive, please be warned about their service - its rude and pathetic! I had to create a yelp account to just post this. We were told that our car would be picked up over a weekend - specifically on a friday or saturday but that didn't happen. We were unable to contact customer service during this time to check on the status because their office hours are only monday to friday and there is nobody to answer your call. We ended up wasting our entire weekend just waiting for the driver to show up. When we checked in with customer service first thing on monday morning (still no updates from their side), they said that the car would be picked up today (monday) for sure. After wasting a working day just waiting for the driver to show up (again) he didn't. We then received a call on tuesday morning from the driver asking us to be ready at 2.30pm for the pick up - it was more of a now or never thing, with the driver not being accommodating at all even after telling him that we were at work and can only make it in the evening after 5pm. Do not use this company for shipping your car - no matter how cheap or convenient they make it sound. Yelp also warned me that the only positive reviews for this business were from the same IP address, most likely the employees or owners falsely trying to bump up the ratings. read more

Was assigned a truck on the 3rd of Jan which broke down on the 3 Jan, no problem, but you would not believe the attitude and rudeness I received because I disagreed with the alternate date they gave. After refusing the new date a young lady hung the phone up in my face. I guess she was done with that! Anyway I called back to talk to someone else and when she realized it was me she hung up again! I called once more and explained I wanted to speak with someone else and to let someone else answer. She did and talked to a nicer gentleman that was a little sarcastic about the fact that I could just leave it with somebody. I explain I was in the Military and everyone was gone on leave with their family and he sarcastically responded," Forever?" I was taken back by the lack of professionalism. It's funny how light they take someone else life and the effects this may have had on their plans. I was also given two date 30 Dec and 3 Jan, neither were honored. My advice is first choose another company but if not ask to see the contract BEFORE you give them money. It states that you will not get a refund, and that's reasonable, but the contract also gives you a date in which they will be there to pick it up which I think they should honor or you get your money back. Obviously they weren't able to honor mines on their end so I ended up running thru hoops to get somebody to be here to put it on the truck. I did my part by honoring the contract and even giving them a deposit, but once people have your money I guess they can treat you any kind of way. I would tell you to read and believe those reviews that were not so good because they just may be true. I will not be using them again, obviously, but just wanted to make others aware. BEWARE - This company has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever dealt with. Stacy is rude - she hung up on me multiple times (8) - Peter is just as rude he placed my call on hold. I was told that they would give 24 hours notice (NOT). I was told that the driver would work with your (NOT). This company gives all other transportation companies a bad name. I signed the contract and paid AAA Anytime, Inc $300.00 to pick up my car on 12/26/2014. On 01/2/2015 my car STILL had not been picked up. On 12/26/2014 at 3pm I was told "the truck broke down" and my car would not be picked up until 12/30/2014. Beware of companies who claim "the truck broke down". From 12/30/2014 on; every day, I was told" the truck is coming and the driver will call you". THE TRUCK NEVER CAME AND THE DRIVER NEVER CALLED. I spent New Year's day trying to get someone on the phone, to no avail. On 1/2/2015, I called another company; Affordable Auto Transportation, one week after my car was supposed to have been picked up. Affordable Auto Transportation delivered my car from Norfolk, Virginia too Kansas City, Missouri in a little over 24 hours. AAA Anytime,Inc knew they didn't have a driver to pick up my car when they took my $300.00. When I disputed the $300.00 thru my bank and tried to get my money back; Mr Everich, the customer service manager claimed when the truck arrived, I told them I was using someone else. He also claimed; I admitted to "double booking", none of this was true. Again I repeat; THE TRUCK NEVER CAME AND THE DRIVER NEVER CALLED. Mr Everich also claims they were ready, willing and able to ship my car; well I beg to differ, you be the judge. Needless to say, I lost the dispute because I had signed the contract which states, no refunds. How long was I suppose to wait? TERRIBLE COMPANY-TOTAL LIARS, SCAM!!!12/2/15-request date for wrangler pick up for transport to Texas. They told me that I can put things in the back of the truck up to the Windows (false-the driver can be fined and it is up to their disgression if they will even take the car, if they don't take the car, no deposit refund will be issued). -They sent me a wrong original contract, I called to have it changed. They said to just adjust it, sign it, and send it back. They never changed the original contract. There was a time frame that the wrangler needed to be delivered by, they disregarded that information. Jerry was the man who was supposed to process the new, corrected contract...clearly that did not happen. -When calling customer service, the man would not listen to my rational complaints or allow me to speak. I'm generously giving this company 1 star for the simple fact that I don't have a choice. This company sucks and I'm shocked that they're still doing business at all! I booked with the company who claimed that they were a the carrier over a month ago and come to find out that they're actually a broker. I'm shipping a pickup truck, a car and a Harley from NY to San Diego. They wanted payment in full just to confirm the date, almost $3000. The pickup date was supposed to be saturday 12/26/15. They called me to tell me they were a couple of days behind and would come for it monday 12/28/15 but promised that even though there was a delay my vehicles will still be arriving in San Diego by January 3rd. 12/28 comes and no phone call to even tell me what time the truck will be showing up. I call them to find out the situation and they say 'oh don't worry the driver will call you hours in advance and you can go on with your day'. I took off from work and they literally had no information about the pickup of the vehicles. I was hopeful and waited around and finally get a phone call around 4pm to tell me that the truck that's supposed to be picking my vehicles up broke down in Connecticut. Which by the way was a complete lie, absolute bullshit. They said they'll have a truck here for me the following Saturday, that day before my vehicles we supposed to be delivered. Also they told me I can fill up the bed of my truck and the entire backseat of both vehicles. That was a lie too! I immediately found another company who could accommodate me and what do u know? AAA Anytime had just called them inquiring my vehicles earlier in the day. So now I lost a days worth of work, my vehicles are not getting there on time and my uhaul is already sent out and I'm stuck with the rest of my shit in the bed of my truck and have to figure out what to do with all of it. Total criminals. They are liars and cheat. None of the drivers speak English or at least they pretend not to speak the language. They didn't even come close to showing up when they said they would (day late)and then they didn't want to drive the semi up my street. So they took one of the cars they were hauling off the truck, jacked up that cars bumper while unloading (I saw the whole thing since I had to come meet them and take them to my house). Once they got there they didn't want to take our car because there was some small boxes in the back. I was told we could put boxes in the car, as long as they were small and didn't come up to the glass. Then the driver said he would take our car but he wanted cash from us. AAA Anytime is truly a DECEPTIVE company with no regard to the costumer. Marion whom I spoke to over the phone assure me, my car would be picked up within a 3 day window. Everything they tell you over the phone is a LIE. I never received a call from the driver nor the company on the day of the pick up and had to change my flight plans last minute because they didn't show up until the next day. Their costumer representatives were not professional nor helpful in giving me more information as to when my car would be picked up and even HUNG UP on me. My car eventually arrived but instead of the 3-5 days they said it would take, it took 10 days for it to finally arrive. They are a broker a company just looking to RIP YOU OFF. read more
