They were really good. It took 4 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment (wasn't packed well so that's on me) but they wrapped every single item in plastic which is great but I'm pretty sure that all together took 1-1.5 hours which is expensive. They lost a star for me because they didn't even get to my apartment until 8:26am and they finished at 12:24pm and tried to charge me for 4.3 hours...I only pulled enough cash out for 4 hours + generous tip. They then asked for more tip because they calculated the hours incorrectly. That just seemed really uncomfortable and unprofessional. If you're going to be late, please keep track of that. I was totally fine with them being late until they tried to charge me for an 8am start time. Just get agreement on start and finish time and you shouldn't have any issues. I hired AAA Best Movers to get rid of bedroom furniture I no longer needed. They were very communicative leading up to our scheduled appointment and showed up on time with 2 movers and a large truck. They moved very fast and were able to move everything out much quicker than we had expected. They were very professional and wore protective gear the entire time. I hired AAA Best Movers for my recent move. Despite the fact that it was the hottest day of the year, Mike and his crew worked tirelessly all afternoon to ensure my furniture was properly packaged and the project was progressing smoothly. They came over an hour earlier, which was perfect as I had added a last minute en route furniture drop off stop at a friend's house. In addition, they also moved some already existing furniture and a very heavy elliptical from one floor to another at my new house. The only complaint I have is there was a scratch left on my bedroom floor at my condo as a result of one of the movers dragging a nightstand on the floor. I'd suggest they put a carpet down on hardwood floors to prevent that from happening in the future. I believe Mike and Li helped us move and they were right on time and very responsive leading up to the moving day. They helped us move out of a large one bedroom apartment and did the job in slightly under 3 hours which included driving across town. Trying to schedule with U-Haul help was ridiculous with too many rules: they could start between 6-9 or 9-12; the guys could either load OR unload and not both... I saw all these glowing reviews and I was so confident in booking them for my move - boy was I wrong. The situation: my apartment was 1000 sq ft, already packed, and had 2 beds to take apart and 3 mattresses to move. Plus, we were up four short flights of stairs. With that in mind, I figured that the move would take at least 3 hours but definitely not more than 5. We even color coded the boxes and really tried to make things easy for the movers but somehow it still took 7.5 hours. Here are the lowlights: -Poor communication. We had to direct them multiple times about what NOT to put on the truck (donations, Recology, etc) and yet still they managed to pack the items into the truck which they then had to spend time unpacking. And even then we still ended up with goodwill bags moved into our new house. -They were very rough with moving the furniture down the stairs and into the apartment which resulted in dings in our walls -They complained during the work about the stairs (which they knew of in advance) -They weren't efficient with their time and we ended up taking apart some of the furniture ourselves to try and help speed things up (didn't work) -They left the toilet seats up and then left water all over the hallway from their washed hands -It took multiple times of directing them where to put things before they actually put them in their designated spots Look, I know moving is hard (thus why I hired someone!) but these guys just felt unprofessional and slow. And to top it all off, once we paid them and gave them a bad tip (we didn't expect such a long move so didn't have much cash left to spare) they hung around as if to try to bully us into giving them a bigger tip... either way, they left without incident and I'd never recommend them to anyone. read more

Although the actual distance of the move was short ( a couple of miles) - I was moving from a third floor edwardian apartment with three flights of (steep) stairs. My experience with this company was flawless. They arrived on time. Everyone was masked for the duration of the move and the three guys worked tirelessly and efficiently. I had several antique/fragile items - including an antique sideboard and they took the utmost care to package it and transport it - not an easy task considering the stairs and the weight of the furniture. On the day of the move, we were scheduled for 8am. Our 3 man crew arrived at exactly 8am and got to work immediately. They were very careful with all our things, super efficient, got most our furniture out the door without dismantling anything & brought plenty of wardrobe boxes, blankets & shrink wrap! Extremely slow! I got a quote over the phone as being 3-4 hour job not including drive time but it took 7 hours! So much time was wasted on the lift! I don't know why they didn't use a ramp but they brought a truck with the lift and each time only one person was using the ramp while other just waited! It was clear that they were milking time because it was charged hourly. We did not have any large appliances-no master bed, no fridge, no couch, no oven, no dishwasher, no washer and dryer! Just boxes, 2 drawers, 1kids bed with mattress, 4seat dining table and a small desk. We are moving again in few months and will definitely not be using this company again. Do yourself a favor and go with a company that will physically come to your place and give you a quote. Or ask for fixed rate! There's lots of company who will give you a fixed rate without changing it. I took his word and trusted that job will be don't within 5 hour frame but that did not happen. (When I notified them that they left the blanket, they said I could keep it or throw it away.) I only used them for moving my large furniture, so they didn't move or pack any boxes.
