The worst service I've ever had. They made me wait three hours for a tow, telling me that my tow will be on site in less than 35 min every time. The people working there were insincere and couldn't care less that I was stuck out in the cold. I got sick and had to miss work the next day because of their lack of professionalism. I wouldn't recommend AAA to anyone who wants/needs to be towed in a timely manner. On top of that I had used my "free" services and had to pay them $90 just so I could wait 3 hrs for a tow. I was in an urban setting so there's no excuse. I could have spent an extra $30 - $40 and been home, not have gotten sick waiting on them and been able to go to work the next day. They wouldn't refund my money even though THEY stated that I waited a ridiculous amount of time. Then tried to get me to let them put the $ towards my account even after I told them that I was not going to be using their services again because of they're complete lack of the truth when dealing with my claim. Again, I cannot reiterate enough how horrible my experience was or how unprofessional the staff project member specialists and supervisors of roadside assistance are. DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THIS PLACE! THEY TAKE YOUR $$ AND GIVE BACK THE WORST SERVICE EVER!! Triple AAA in the Oakland area is AWESOME!! My car wouldn't start at a laundromat in Oakland, so I called Triple AAA thinking it just needed more gas. A driver came within 15 minutes and filled my car up with a gallon and then jump started it. He was very friendly and polite Afterwards, I was able to drive to the nearest gas station which was only 2 minutes away, filled up gas.. and my car wouldn't start up again. So I gave Triple AAA another call and explained my situation. The operator was also very friendly and polite. She gave me the option of having someone bring a new battery to me to be replaced. They have a 6 year warranty if you get a new battery through them. I asked for them to bring the new battery and the operator told me it would be about 45 minutes before a driver could get to me. The driver assigned, Ronald came within 20 minutes and from the moment he arrived he was very friendly and simply just amazing. He offered me water and checked my car out, testing to see what the issue was. He tested a few things and after about another 20 minutes he knew that my alternator wasn't charging my battery. So instead of replacing my battery he scheduled for a tow truck to take my car back to my apartment and explained that I should call Triple AAA tomorrow morning to have it towed to my mechanic. Ronald was kind enough to even wait around with me for a bit since the area I was in wasn't the safest. Being a small 4'10" woman, this was definitely MUCH appreciated. I also very much appreciated how honest he was about what was going on with my car. Ronald even called their operator for me and scheduled the tow truck to come I was told the tow truck would take about an hour to get to me. However, to my surprise the truck arrived within 20 minutes. I was greeted by John from the Oakland location. He was also very kind and friendly. He checked my car again after I told him what Ronald had told me. He agreed that he thinks it's the alternator as well. He also offered me some cold water to drink and then got me and my car back home safely. To my complete surprise, all of my car conundrums took about 2 hours only! Called Triple AAA the first time at around 1pm and got my car towed back home around 3pm. Overall, from the operators on the phone to the drivers that came to my rescue, everyone was extremely professional and friendly. I have been a AAA member since 2001. Have only had to use them a few times and usually all went well. Until today I called about 6:40 AM on my way to work because I got a flat. I called them for help with that and they were having intermediate phone problems. Got to the person that was going to dispatch someone to help twice and click...was hung up on. I understand phones could have issues but, please for your needy clients out there. Get those phones working right stranded AAA Client not HAPPY!!!!! Maybe reconsider my membership. I've had plus memberships off and on for years. I didn't renew last yr. As I only used it once for a flat tire. It took 3 tow trucks and my entire day to change it. Your average Chevy Suburban. What a nightmare it was. I break down a ways from my new home in a new town and renew my plus memberships. Horrible customer service. I called yesterday for the max up to 5 gallons of gas for same Suburban. Bone dry, in the Ocala National Forest. Cell reception is near non existent, roads are bad, Suburban needs work and uses an overload of fuel. AAA will not even try asking dispatch for a truck to bring a 5 gal container. They offer to send only a 2 gallon container which will leave me stranded or require another tow. Don't believe when they tell you they can supply up to 5 gl as I've been told. Member for 11 years and used for the first time! I called for a tow and was told 2 hours and 15 minutes for arrival. I waited 3 hours in the hot sun with a 91 year old in the car. I called several times and they could not tell me the anticipated time he would arrive. I called a local independent towing company who was there in 10 minutes. I should have done that from the beginning. I have left two messages asking where I should send the $170 towing invoice for reimbursement. I do not have a call back yet. We are from Illinois and broke down in Michigan on a beautiful clear 72 degree day at 4 pm. (no excuses AAA). We called AAA at 4 pm and were told that they would send a tow truck within 2 1/2 hours. We were not near bathrooms or a restaurant. After waiting 5 hours, the sun was going down and we were in the middle of nowhere. In those 5 hours we called 4 times and were told they were still working on it but we never ever got a call back or a tow truck. We finally called a local tow truck company ourselves. The local tow truck company arrived to save us in 20 minutes. We went home - 2 hours away - thinking that if they call I'll let them know. But they still didn't call back. So once we were home I called again (7 hours since we originally called). They said they were still working on it. Of course I told them we called our own tow truck and asked about reimbursement (we'll see how this works. I sent the form and tow truck receipt a couple of weeks ago). In the past we used AAA a couple of times and they were good but this time we received No service. I'd leave zero stars on this review if I could. Update 10/31/20 - we received a 375.00 reimbursement check from AAA in the mail yesterday. Also, I talked to customer relations and they said that if your wait is longer than 1.5 hours you can always call your own service, keep the receipt and get reimbursed. read more

I've been a member of AAA for 40 years, until this latest lack of service and civility. On Sunday, August 23rd, we were in Great Falls, MT and accidentally locked the car keys in our Chevy Astro van. We called for Roadside Assistance to come and open the car. The foreign speaking representative on the phone, would NOT send anyone to our location claiming that our car was a commercial vehicle and not covered by Roadside Assistance. This is a personal vehicle, not a commercial vehicle and the same thing happened about five years ago in Nevada and Roadside Assistance was sent immediately to help. Exactly the same scenario, but this time I was refused service. What am I paying for? Why would AAA Roadside Assistance leave members stranded in a parking lot at night when calling for the assistance that we've been paying for four decades? On top of that, the phone rep was completely and thoroughly rude, unhelpful, and insulting. Once our membership expires next year, we will look for a more friendly and reliable Roadside Assistance service. read more

Today I meant to get in my car and go places at noon. Rrrr rrrr rrr, click. Nope. Rrrr rrr rrrr, click. Nope. I called AAA which I have since a child seen as a great and reliable brand. 3. Hours. Later. A guy in a truck pulls up looks once at my battery and says "Wow I've never seen a frozen battery before, I don't know what to do." (Its been like 4* out for the last two weeks here in St Louis dropping lower at night.) What? He calls his manager, who instructs him to take the battery out, hand it to me to put somewhere warm and call them back when its thawed to put it back. I thank him and carry the chunk of ice into the house. Knowing that last bout took 3 hours I call immediately and get this from a support person after speaking with their supervisor: "We are canceling all battery installation services in St. Louis today, there are just too many calls today and we are hours behind." "You have 'emergency battery installation' on the side of your service vehicles and we pay you in advance because we trust you are used to handling emergencies." "Yes but we can either tow the vehicle or jump it, no battery installation." "So you can take the battery out but can't put it in 2 hours later when a member of your company just promised me on his managers advice that you could? I would love a jump but there ain't no battery in the car to jump." "We're sorry..." I hung up. I called another tow company (which I will praise but not name for reasons soon to be revealed). Who's phone guy said "We got a couple of trucks and a couple'a guys ready to get out there, you just let us know where and when." 15 minutes later a black tinted window chevy Malibu parks next to my car with a man, woman and child in the car. The lady of the family is on her phone, kid in the back in a car-seat snoozing away. The gentleman leaps out of the car with a box of tools stoned. out. of. his. gourd. I can smell and see the cloud of weed smoke billowing from the car. Nevertheless he does a bang-up job, I hand him his fee and the rest of whatever cash I had in sincere gratitude for quick and speedy service. He might not have had 'emergency battery installation' on the side of his car, nor do I think he could have articulated those words, but he did a damn fine job. Were there not the issue of illegal drugs, I would sing the praises of this tow company from the highest (haha) rooftops. As it is I am tired but warm. Marry Christmas, Happy New years, and DONT by any means pay for AAA roadside assistance. read more

Terrible customer service at every level -- worst of the worst! My wife's been stranded for 4-1/2 hours. App keeps saying tow truck is 30, 15, 5, -5, -20 mins away, only to reset to tow truck is 30 mins away. She's stuck and it's 95 degrees outside. We've both been calling "customer service," only to repeatedly be told, "I'm sorry, there's nothing we can do." It's infuriating and I fear for my wife's safety and health in this heat! She can't get an Uber or leave to seek shelter, because the horrible dispatch people say if she leaves, the tow truck will leave when (or if) it arrives. AAA should be ashamed!!! read more

I have been a AAA member on and off for at least 10 years now. I have the RV and motor Cycle towing 100 miles membership. My 2004 Mercedes Benz broke down and I needed a tow to a local shop about a month ago. The tow driver came and towed it to the shop and left my key in the car under a mat with the doors unlock in an alley where high crime is near downtown Los Angeles. The car was broken into stole all the contents in my car and music equipment tools and a brand new touch screen Radio. They also tried to steal my car but it wouldn't stay started for the reason of the tow. So I had to call another tow to get it out of the alley and put it on the street. The tow driver ripped up my front bumper badly as I watch in horror but didn't say anything because the tow company Car Carrier had already damaged it and I am trying to file a claim. I called AAA and they tried to say it was my fault to yet he put the key in the car unlocked. I told her I was told by the shop owner that the key is usually put in the wheel well. She said it wouldn't have made a difference because they still could get into the car. I was like how do you figure that? They would first have to know where the key was and then open the door to get in. Most criminals would check the door and if really motivated to get in break a window. Nevertheless, I lost thousands of dollars in equipment and had to pay $400 to program another key for the car. I am very unhappy as I asked them to file a claim and investigate the incident and nothing has happened. They are blaming the towing Company that they have contracted to do the job. It is no longer the quality of service I have known AAA to be. I also get bad or wrong information when a driver will show up or the wrong address is put in the system. Right now I left my S10 cell phone in a tow truck and can't get in touch with anyone as AAA transfers the call to the towing company. I almost want to cancel my membership with them as they have become more of a problem than when I needed to start with. This happened in Downtown Los Angeles with several different towing Companies. I may have to contact Corporate about the thefts and damage to my car's front bumper from towing it from the rear since I didn't have a key because of them. I have lost so much dealing with them now. I've lost faith in AAA. I thought it was a fluke when they left me hanging at an O'Hare remote parking lot in the middle of the night for 3 hours waiting for a tow because my electronics system failed while I was traveling but last night's experience topped that. My son's F250 truck died on 294 last night. He called for a tow for an F250 truck. After 4 hours of cluster nuggets and changing providers 3 times we had to find our own tow. On top of which they tried to blame it on my son saying he changed the pickup location. The truck was dead; unless there are truck fairies who moved it magically with him in it without him knowing it, then something tells me it was their SNAFU, not my son's. I managed to find him exactly where he said he was when he called me first before he called AAA to begin with. So did the tow company we ultimately had to call on our own when after 4 hours their 3rd provider still wasn't even en-route to us. Great, so they'll reimburse me for the tow. If I have to find my own services and worry about my family being out there somewhere alone needing help, what am I paying them for? My useless silver membership card cost me more than the tow, don't I feel like an idiot for upgrading. I specifically have it so we're not alone on the road, get timely assistance and get vetted providers that will tow us where we need to go if needed. If I can't count on them for that they're pretty useless to me. read more

I have been a member since 1995 and mostly been pleased. This evening I had a flat tire. After 4 hours of waiting we have decided to just leave the car as it is now 1am and in a dark, unsafe location. I called for updates while waiting all evening. They originally gave an estimate of a 2 hour wait and even after that passed said to stay close as a driver would text when on the way. Only now have a I learned we are 5th in line and not even close to getting help. Why weren't we told these details from the beginning so we could make other arrangements? We have AAA to feel safe. I would rate AAA a zero if it was an option. I have an E450 van that is partially converted to an RV. I have the AAA with RV coverage. The transmission went out and I've been stuck on the side of the road for 8 HOURS plus waiting for them to send a tow truck. They just called me and said that my vehicle "doesn't qualify" because the registration is for a Ford E450, not an RV. Even though my vehicle is only 12 feet long. 8 hours wasted, only to have to call a local tow company to do the tow. They will be here in 15 minutes. AAA has become a deceitful, bottom of the barrel company, and is merely a shadow of the great company they used to be. I will be canceling my plan when I get home. Run, don't walk, far away from AAA, especially if you have an RV or larget than standard vehicle. The towing offered by your insurance is a better option- ar least a more honest and ethical option. read more

I am a AAA Premier customer. Two days ago, my daughter and her husband, a member of the United States Navy broke down in Decatur Georgia, just outside of Atlanta, while traveling from Texas to Norfolk, Virginia. I pay additional money to include my daughter on my membership, so we were very thankful we had AAA. Until we attempted to use it. To make a long story slightly less long, they spent six hours on the side of the interstate highway in 20 degree temperatures and with no lights of any kind. They were simply looking for a tow to the Auto Zone, two miles away to buy a new alternator and battery for their truck. At first they were told that it would be an hour, and probably less because they prioritize people stranded in dangerous conditions. After first a call from the tow truck operator that it would be more like an hour and a half, and then after two hours, a call saying that he wasn't coming and that dispatch would have to send someone else, they called the toll free AAA number again. When told that they had no idea when someone could come, and becoming increasingly colder by the minute, I called AAA myself, as the policy owner. The first person told me the reason for delays was several accidents that had just happened in the area (the police later told us that this was not true). I asked to speak to a manager who told me the delay was because they were hauling a small U-haul trailer (furniture that my son-in-laws mom had given them) and couldn't find someone to move the U-haul too. At one point I mentioned that it was below freezing and that they had no heat, to which the AAA employee responded that she had lived in Michigan so she understood. Yeah, I'm sorry, but I've lived in New England and that doesn't mean I would be ok with being stuck on the shoulder of an interstate for many hours with no heat.. The manager recommended we attempt to find a tow ourselves and that they may reimburse us.They also said that we have to advise AAA if we find someone on our own or they will charge us for the tow that never happened. Why am I paying for AAA then? After many hours stranded with no idea from AAA when they could send help, we contacted a tow company on our own, who was there within a half an hour. The fact that AAA could leave a young military family stranded in such dangerous conditions, outside of a major city is appalling. Since purchasing the Premier membership last year because I knew my daughter and son-in-law, as a military family, do a lot of long distance travelling I had not used it once. Including Sunday, when they failed to do what they were contracted to do when I purchased my membership. read more

My husband and I ran out of gas in New Mexico in a high wind rainstorm. We called AAA and were told due to high call volume they could not take our call. We waited on the line 35 minutes. Then I used my husbands phone to call another number. That lady was from the call center and also was told there was high call demand. She waited over an hour and was disconnected. My husband unloaded our trailer on the busy highway and took our trike out and drove in the rain to a gas station. He bought a gas can and filled it and returned. They would not reimburse us for anything. We had the PLUS plan for over 4 years and had never needed it till then. Waste of money and false sense of security when traveling outside of your own state. read more

The point of using road side assistance is usually because your vehicle has broken down someterse, and time is of the essence. Well if you use AAA be prepared to wait 4+hours to even get a technician assigned. Then wait another few hours for them to show up at your location. I've just signed up for AAA and I truly regret it. AAA LEFT DAUGHTER STRANDED - For the second consecutive time, AAA Roadside assistance let my family down. Today, 30 miles from the nearest city, my daughter had a blowout. Since today's newer cars don't have spare tires and since it was too late to find a replacement, we decided to ask AAA to tow it home. Daughter called... wrecker ETA 45 minutes. 1 hour later she calls AAA to ask status -- service was canceled -- with NO NOTICE to my daughter. Dispatcher said they would call another and wrecker would call to confirm. 20 minutes later... NO CALL. No Service. Nothing....except the dispatcher who said, "I hope you have a better day". Wow. Not very comforting words for a young lady in the middle of nowhere in the dark! If you have AAA for peace of mind... Don't! read more

I've been using AAA for years, probably almost a decade. They are currently just terrible now. If your car breaks down they won't let you ride with the tow truck and they blame it on covid. Funny how ubers and taxis still run just fine! Just a few months ago they left me waiting on the side of the road for a tow truck for 3 hours!!!! After the 3 hours they called to tell me that they couldn't find ANY drivers. It took me less than 5 minutes. I was pretty unhappy about that but kept my membership anyways, that is until today. I put a service call in today and found out about the no riding policy. I called a local tow truck company to see if they would let me ride along as I was getting the car towed to my house and I have a few other cars I can drive. The other company said sure. I called AAA back to cancel the call and ask if I could put that in for reimbursement since they don't let people ride with their tow trucks and this other company did. The lady left me on hold for over a half hour, it was enough time that during my hold with AAA the other company tow truck showed up, towed me home, I was getting calls while on hold (came to find out it was the AAA driver to ask where I was), only to have a rude customer service agent tell me I wasn't there when their driver showed up and that he's been calling me! WELL OF COURSE BECAUSE I'VE BEEN ON HOLD WITH YOU!!! I asked to talk with a supervisor, got left on hold another 20 minutes so I hung up and called back. At this point I didn't even want to get reimbursed, I Just wanted to cancel my membership. I was 2 days over the "30 day cancellation period". I told them it's ridiculous they can't pro-rate me a refund for the 11 unused months. They said it's policy and I talked to 3 different people telling me the same thing. So if you buy this service and want to cancel they won't let you, they are greedy and once they got your money you'll have to fight to get it back. After telling the cancellation lady all this she said she would see what she could do. Surprisingly she called me back and issued a refund. Literally the only good thing I have to say about this company is that they EVENTUALLY gave me my money back after going through hell. It's why I'm pissed off enough to write this mini-blog about how terrible AAA is. I will spend the rest of my day complaining about them, I'm that upset. read more

Terrible, terrible customer service. I bought a battery from them two years ago. It died yesterday. I had to make three phone calls; they sent three separate techs. The first two couldn't do anything. The third finally jumped the battery but said it was almost dead and I wouldn't be able to start the car again. But he didn't "get the right code" to replace the battery, which is under warranty. He said if I turned off the car, it would die again. Dead again today. I called again. THEY CHARGED ME $75 TO HAVE SOMEONE COME OUT BECAUSE IT'S MY FOURTH SERVICE CALL. SERIOUSLY? It's my fourth call because the first three did not replace the battery. I have been a member for 28 years--since 1991--and I am shocked by their terrible service. Don't bother becoming a AAA member. It's a scam and not worth it. Car I was having towed to a shop in Gloucester was not easy to work with (air suspension & such), but Carlos handled the car with the utmost level of respect and professionalism. You really can't ask for more when it comes to this sort of tow job. He arrived earlier than anticipated, hooked the car up perfectly, and arrived at the specified location and completed drop off flawlessly. If you are ever in the Fenway area & require an abrupt tow, don't hesitate to go with whatever tow truck company AAA has on call, but be sure to request Carlos or other drivers working under Pro-Tech towing & recovery. My SUV would not start after stopping to get my grandchildren pizza. I immediately called AAA to request roadside assistance. I was stuck waiting for a representative for several minutes. Luckily, my daughter was able to request the roadside assistance online through your website much faster. We were sent an email stating we would have to wait 90 minutes to have someone come to test our battery (as we believed that was the issue). Luckily, we were down the block from our home and just decided to walk home while we waited for AAA to come. The AAA representative did arrive about 90 minutes later but refused to test our battery. He did not even open the hood of the SUV to check. He tried to start the SUV and when it wouldn't he stated it wasn't the battery. We asked if he was a mechanic and he said no but that he had experience with batteries and believed that was not the issue. We asked him several times to please just check the battery to make sure it had enough power and he refused stating he would call us a tow truck. He proceeded to call the tow and drove off. We had to walk back to the apartment with the children again at 9pm with no help at all. We received a call around 9:30pm confirming we requested a tow truck. They stated it would be a 3 hour delay for the tow. I advised I was ok with waiting 3 hours as my SUV was in a parking lot where it could be towed away if we didn't move it soon. I stayed up all night waiting for the tow truck to come. They did not appear until 5 am, which please keep in mind I still have to get the children ready for camp and go to work. Also, if I would not have went to check on the car in the middle of the night, they would have tow my car for being parked illegally overnight at the parking lot. I was able to convince the gentleman that my tow truck was on the way to move my car but I had to stay there with my car. I also could not sleep as tow kept calling every hour to advise they were delayed but would soon be arriving. It took them over 7 hours to arrive and tow a SUV?!?! We were so lucky to be close to home but I can't even imagine if we were stranded farther away. This has been the most disappointing experience with AAA. We've been members with AAA since 2005, and I have whole family on the plan. read more

I joined AAA in prep for a cross country roadtrip. Got run off the road in Washington, AAA wouldn't cover the on the spot because I was on an 'inaccessible road' (it was a very well traveled Olympic National Forest road). They said send an itemized bill and we'll reimburse you for the time traveled on 'accessible' roads by the tow company. I followed their instructions and just this morning got a rejection from Derek Ferrell saying, sincerely, that they will not cover anything, but value my membership. I called to protest again, and Mr. Ferrell was the least empathetic of any customer service call I've had in a long time. He was uninterested, and jumped at the chance when I asked to cancel my membership (likely to get off the phone asap). Just think...a company that bills itself as going the extra mile rejects my service, lies to me about the likelihood of reimbursement, and then eagerly cancels my membership, refunding me the $62 for the year. For twice that $62 (the amount I was asking for in reimbursement), they would still have me as a customer and made up the difference when my membership rolled into next year. For four times that they would've had an enthusiastic advocate for their brand about how they really do come to save the day in any situation. But instead, they stonewalled my claim and immediately (nay, eagerly!) canceled my membership instead, and here I am publicly condemning them instead. Companies like this in today's service-driven economy will fail, and if they do nothing to adapt, they damn well deserve it. I called AAA to change a flat tire, when you use AAA theirs always a long wait, I drove about a mile and my Brakes locked up on lower wacker drive, not a good place to have to wait for a tow at midnight I was told by dispatch that I was put on a priority tow, I waited almost an hour before the driver arrived now I'm waiting to find out if AAA put my spare tire on backwards, AAA is not equipped to handle priority tows you will wait even if your in a dangerous situation read more

Being generous with one star. AAA increased my insurance payment after 3 months, during COVID then had the nerve to issue a $23 check because people aren't driving much. Well, I needed to drive my vehicle but AAA car care center destroyed my truck to the point it's costing me a ton of money to repair. They cut wires to my fuel injectors, drained my battery and messed up my alignment. Now my truck is sitting behind my house collecting dust while I try desperately to talk to a human being employed by this fraudulent company. read more

I would give them a 0. Worst service I have ever seen. We had a flat tire. Called AAA. They said to wait at the car and they would send out a tow truck. A tow truck never showed up. It was 0 degrees out. We finally caught a ride home. The car is still sitting there. read more

It took nearly THREE HOURS after calling roadside assistance before a driver even called to say he would be there in another half hour. When I called originally they said someone would be there in about an hour. I cancelled the AAA call and found an alternative. I am NOT a happy customer! read more

Today my dog locked me out of my car with it running, right out in the full sun, when it is 104....I went to my daughters door to take her 2 dogs in and when I turned around to leave, well no, my plans were changed for me.... I tried to find my spare key under the car and could not find it....looked for like 5 minutes....borrowed my daughters phone. Called triple A to come rescue me and after I told him my dog turns off the air conditioner, puts on emergency flashers, rolls down windows...(which of course he would not do then)...so major stress boy I tell you....my face was all red and blotchy from looking under my car, touching hot dirty stuff under there...I was sweating profusely..... talk about a nightmare. Triple A had Keith's towing there so fast....15 minutes....I was again looking for my key and found it right when he pulled up....great service...thank you for caring about my dogs health and me to, caring about me...I will never go anywhere else now...loyal customer for life!!!! read more

I've been a member off and on for years, and most recently for the past four consecutive years. I have never needed their service, except for trip tiks (when they had them), and travel books. I'm a Premier member paying $119 per year and in a crunch, when I really needed AAA, they were not available. The message was "we are experiencing higher than normal call volume." My phone battery was too low to wait. I was unable to use the app (long story). In short, I called for the tow truck myself and submitted the receipt for $300 in hopes for some reimbursement. Due to some obscure stipulation I was informed that our situation did not qualify for reimbursement. (Read the fine print!!!!). So this is how I will recoup my $300. I will be cancelling my membership and my two sons' memberships. Thanks for nothing AAA. read more

They need to be put out of business! Stranded at Dallas airport, One of the busiest places in the country and can't get a tow truck to us. Asked for a tow at 3 o'clock and it's now 5. They said tow truck came by but didn't see us, I'm at terminal D there's only One way around the terminal D as everyone knows and could not have passed me and husband without us seeing him number one and number two how could he not see us as he had the description to our vehicle. In addition the tow truck driver called us and said that he was on his way and would see us in 10 minute, he had our vehicle description and obviously had our phone number and could have simply called us back if he didn't see us. LIE Canceling AAA tomorrow! And will be posting on Facebook and asking all my friends and family to also cancel AAA! read more

Had AAA for a few years. They did fine coming out to the house and jump starting the cars if they went dead. But when we broke down on the side of the raod and called then it took them 45 minutes to tell us they could not find anyone available to tow us. Within 15 minutes I phone googled and found a local wrecker company who arrived for the Tow. AAA waste of time and money. Canceled them when I got home. read more

My tire blew out on the side of the Eisenhower Expressway with cars flying past my parked car at 70+ mph, less than 6 feet away. I called roadside assistance and they put me as a priority because I was in an unsafe place. She originally said 2 hours before she put it as priority but said it will be much quicker now that she put mine top of list. Well, it took triple A over 3 hours to get to me, leaving me stranded on the side of a busy highway, scared someone could rear end my car at any second. I continued to call every hour, because I was stranded. The lady kept saying "45 minutes" every time I called and then when I waited the last hour, she reduced the the time to 35 minutes. I was appalled by the service I received last night. Real disappointment how when someone is in an unsafe condition and put as a priority, how little that means to triple A. I am stuck in a highway in Chicago so so neighborhood, I called triple A for a tow about 2 hours ago and still no update. They state that they are working with the dispatch to send a tow. I told them if anything happens to me I will tell my family that it was AAA fault as I did sate with them that the neighborhood is not the safest. read more
