As a new issue came about they showed me what it was and discussed what was needed and why. I'm also traveling from out of state & both of these gentlemen were knowledgeable and upfront with the costs. Having waited for the repair work to be done I heard the manager tell a customer that they didn't need a replacement because the items had plenty of life on them. He didnt upsell the customer and IMO took care of that customer by being honest. The cost for the work was fair and if I have another issue (hopefully not) I will use them again.

So I went searching for the best mechanics in the 'Burg (is that still the cool thing to say?). The overall consensus was Eagle Eye Automotive Williamsburg. I called them up and spoke with this über awesome guy named Ryan there and explained our saga. He confidently said, "I'll fix it no problem. Bring it in. I got you, fam." (Not an exact quote.) Sold. Tow it there. Friday he discovers the problem. Easy fix, apparently. He did indeed have us as fam. Monday that old lazy car was all ready to go. Price was very reasonable. Ryan was one awesome mechanic and person in general. So... I took my Jeep in to have the ABS and Traction Control lights fixed. I did the diagnostic myself…read moreand told Jerry's exactly what I needed done. I was told they still had to do their diagnostic and charged me $60. Their diagnosis was the same as mine. I was told the fix is a $20 part, some new wire and labor ($200). I agreed and paid the $60 diagnostic and approved the $200 repair. I got my Jeep back and the lights were off. A few days later, the exact same lights and code came back!!! I called Jerry's and they said they would look at it and it was warranted for 90 days. The next day, I was told that the problem was the ABS pump and its now $2200. Why did they do a diagnostic and tell me the fix if all they were going to do was start changing parts hoping they could fix it? If I wanted to change parts until I got it right, I could have done that myself! I expected a lot more from a shop that considered themselves a professional auto mechanic shop. The girls up front at the counter were friendly but the work performed lacked any sign of being professional.
