Our pipe was leaking under the sink so we called AAP. Saul came out and was extremely helpful! We have an older house and older pipes so it took a lot of time and effort. So I had one of aap plumbers out for a water stoppage in my back to back bathrooms.1 hour later I'm being told it would be 1800.00 dollars, the plumber didn't even try to snake the pipes then he tried to negotiate the price.I called another plumbing group and 168.00 dollars later it was fixed.I called aap office to complain about there plumber and was told he was an apprentice and they were sorry and was given a 200.00 dollar credit towards any future problems plus they will send out a senior tech,I guess I will give them another chance. read more

Our garbage disposal stopped working and a backyard faucet was leaking so it was time to call a plumber. We've used AAP before so we called them again. AAP sent us Zachary and Dylan. Replacing the garbage disposal was pretty routine, but replacing an old crusty faucet was a bit more difficult. Zachary was cut for the job. A young man with such impressive maturity. He is very patient and you can almost hear him thinking as he goes about doing his work. Dylan is being trained by Zachary and if he turns out to be like Zachary, he would be a great plumber. Steve Reeves is awesome! My 10 year water heater was giving me problems. Pilot was not staying lit and after two days of cold showers I contacted AAP. I left a message at 9:30pm thinking I wouldn't get a response until next day. To my surprise I was contacted within 15 minutes! AAP offered to send someone out that night. I declined but appreciated the service offered. So they scheduled Steve to come out between the hours of 8-10am. Steve was at my door at 8am with a smile. After Steve patiently explained my dilemma, I decided to have a new water heater installed. I didn't feel I was given a sales pitch. Steve pretty much laid out my options based on the condition of the water heater and my budget. I had already dumped money into my water heater for a minor repair that didn't solve the problem. I purchased a 40 year old home with a septic system. We started having problems the day we moved in. I had called 5 plumbers, several that would not even bother to come out to the house. Two told me I should dig up the septic system, inspect it and call them back to tell them what I found!! For the 3 plumbers that did show up none knew how to even begin figuring out where to start. Two showed up with nothing but a plunger!! It was extremely frustrating. Then I called AAP on a holiday weekend at 6pm. The lady that answered the phone was kind, patient and knowledgeable. She said she could not assure me that she could find a tech However; within 10 minutes William called and said he was on his way. He showed within 20 minutes. We have used All American Plumbing for 4 yrs now. Service is outstanding. Daniel came out this time due to our garbage disposal not working, and sink was clogged. Daniel was able to figure out the problem in a timely manner, but he didn't stop there. He wanted to make sure there was no other problem. He noticed that the other sink was backing up, so he snaked it to clear the problem. I failed to mention that that was happening once in awhile. Daniel was very professional. I had a horrible experience with a different plumbing company over a very simple job. AAP was my second choice and I wish I had called them first. William Llames was my plumber and he fixed what the previous plumber could not. It was so simple that I was not even charged for the 5 minute repair that had caused me so much grieve by the previous plumbing company. Shower wouldn't shut off so I had to turn off the main water. Had to call AAP since they were nearby and 24hrs to come fix the shower faucet so we can have running water again out of fear that if I turn it back on the water won't stop. Called AAP for a slab leak and Daniel came out. He was on time, courteous and knowledgeable. The estimate was competitive with the other plumbing companies I had come out. I decided on AAP to do a total house re-pipe. The estimate included the re-pipe plus drywall repair. AAP was the only company out of the five I had give estimates that could start the project within a day and also compete the re-pipe in one day, allowing us to get the water back on. The drywall repair being included made it less stressful for us in that we did not have to find a company on our own. They also did all drywall repairs in one day. At the end of the project Daniel came out to ensure we were happy with all that was completed. He even offered to have a cleaning service come out for three hours to help clean the house after all the drywall mess. Great overall experience with Daniel and AAP. read more

They were able to come fix our ac unit compressor same day and the technician was very informative advising life span of ac units as well as giving us estimates of a new ac unit that's more energy efficient as our ac unit is over 15 years old and technician advised of HERO program and explained all that goes into replacing a unit. Last Friday night after 11 pm I sent a message from Yelp to the company seeking advice on my water heater that just stopped working. The owner Anthony P. responded within 30 minutes and told me to contact GE and let them know it was under warranty. He also sent me a link with GE's warrant contact information. An estimate was also given on the message. The part in question was delivered from GE on this date. I sent the owner another message on Yelp after 3 pm today and before 6 pm I had a plumber, Josh, at my home making the repair. I can't give enough positive stars for the quality of service I received. This a a great company, and if I have future plumbing needs, I will contact them before even considering anyone else. I called two other companies to get other estimates and by far the other two companies were both extremely lower than AAP . They both mentioned that AAP try to sell repairs that were not needed and that the price AAP gave me on the repairs were ridiculous. I would advice all consumers, homeowners and anyone that is in need of services or repairs to beware with AAP and get other estimates so that your not taken advantage of by AAP. These guys are crooks! I had a slab leak and called this company for a leak detection. They quoted me $99 over the phone. Two guys came out (William and William). Before they start, they asked me what do I want to do. I told them I need to find where the leak is and get an estimate for the repair. They said they will find the leak but they WILL NOT tell me where the leak is. The $99 service is to let me know there is a leak and to give me an repair estimate. I was like "What?? I already know there is a leak and I don't need to pay someone to tell me there is a leak. I need to know WHERE the leak is" They said they can't tell me where the leak is so I can get another repair quote from other company. It will be $475 to tell me exactly where the leak is. It is absolutely a bait and switch business practice. BE AWARE AND BE SURE TO ASK EXACTLY WHAT THEY WILL DO BEFORE LETTING THEM START. Better yet, don't even bother calling them. Waste of time and adding more stress to my stressful situation! read more

Just had an unpleasant interaction with a rep from AAP. David Hess. I have a small gas leak to a pool heater and David discovered that some of the existing plumbing is old and out of code. Typical home owner experience in So Cal, so nothing to be dissatisfied with along that issue, however what David did next should have anyone reading this review second guessing calling AAP for a service quote. After calling the office to get a plan of action and bid together, David tells me that they'll need to cap the line at the meter for a fee of $287, and that they need to do it right away or he'll call the gas company. I can't imagine anyone looking for a repair quote on their home wants to be strong armed into signing a contract on the spot. I was agitated, so I excused him from my property as politely as I could. Within minutes I had a notification from the gas company to do a leak inspection. They came and we were able to shut the gas off at a valve that served this line in the back yard at the meter, while keeping the home hooked up, in about 1 minute of time. David failed to notice the shut off valve, probably item #1 a plumber should be looking for if there is a leak. Be warned, AAP has a rep that will report you to the utilities if you wanted to get other bids instead of signing their contract on the spot. Not worth the risk if you don't want to be shut down by a utility or whoever they report you to as you're requesting multiple bids for repair work. read more

Had a water leak under the kitchen sink. Wasn't sure if it was the disposal or dishwasher. We got a quick response to our initial phone call, and Anthony came out the next day. He quickly diagnosed that it was, indeed, the disposal, and also that our pipes needed to be reconfigured in order to keep our dishwasher from spitting water out of the air gap every time it ran.
