They make the best burgers I've had. You can build your burger anyway you like. There is every possible topping. We usually get the Abby which has avocado, sprouts. They also have many option from the fryer such as fried cauliflower and fried pickles. The restaurant is very small. It is better for carry out than for dine in. Only complaint is that they aren't opened Sundays. read more

I had the fried fish and sweet potato fries. Husband had The Abbey burger and onion rings. This meal was Great. I wish all onion rings were this crispy. I wish All sweet potato fries were this creamy inside and had such a delicate crust. Fish was lightly breaded and not gummy. So so good read more

Tried Abby Lane for the first time last night. Might be the greatest, juiciest, perfectly cooked burger I've had in my 67 years - which equates to a lot of burgers. I had it medium rare with onion and cheese. Nicely sliced thin raw onion. The bakery bun was excellent. Don't hesitate to try this place. They also have a very diverse menu with a lot to choose from. We'll be going back to try some other menu items soon. read more

Since it is close to home, I bought the living social coupon to try it out. I'm always on the lookout for good food locally as I can't stand chain restaurants. As we walked up to the place, I thought,"this could be interesting". The restaurant is blink and you miss it small and it's in a strip mall. But the menu is pretty large for such a small place and it is clean. We ordered the Abby and just a regular mushroom and swiss burger with curly fries and onion rings. When our food came, I was amazed at how big my burger was and then I was surprised that my onion rings were HOMEMADE and REAL! My wife, daughter, and I were in town and looking to find a place to eat and didn't want the normal chain restaurant food. This place had some good reviews and I was looking for a burger so we decided to check it out. It was around 1pm on a Tuesday when we got in and there wasn't any other customers, so we weren't sure how it was going to go. They probably do a fair amount of call in orders. Looking over the menu, I saw the Abby Burger and it immediately jumped out at me, so I got that cooked medium-rare and onion rings. My wife got the fish sandwich and sweet potato fries, and my daughter got chicken strips and fries. It did take a little while to get our food out but once we got it, we realized why. The burger was hand made, and not frozen and had a great flavorful crust, the onion rings were freshly sliced and battered and perfectly salted, the fish was light, crispy, and perfectly seasoned, and the sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The chicken strips and fries were pretty standard and I would say they weren't anything special, but my daughter ate most of it and she is picky, so that was awesome for us. The lady working the register came and checked on us and refilled out drinks without us asking, which was appreciated. I probably have had a better burger, but for the life of me, I dont know when it was. The meat was well seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium rare, the avocado was thickly sliced, the bacon was thick and cooked perfectly, and the sprouts were a nice touch. It was an amazingly flavorful and juicy burger. The onion rings were absolutely perfect as well. My wife was raving about the fish sandwich for the rest of the day. The food is priced right for the quality and quantity and I wish I didnt have to take a 2 hour plane ride to get there, but it was very much worth it. read more

Just got a carry out from here, two custom 1/4 burgers with curly fries and onion rings. The burgers were fantastic, the onion rings were perfectly crispy and not soggy, and the fries were good too. So glad we tried this place, it is very hard to find good local restaurants (not chains) that have fresh, delicious, reasonably priced food. And bonus points for not messing up the carry out order! So many different combinations for burgers and are made fresh to order. I love that I have the option to add on what I want for my burgers. They give you different options on how big you want it too. It's great for taking out and running if you're in a rush. The wait time is never long. Staff is really nice and the owner will make sure you're enjoying yourself when he's done cooking. I've driven by this place more than a million times and never noticed it was there. The only reason I went was because I was in the mood for a burger, so I Yelped burgers and filtered it through highest ratings and found this. My husband and I went. The place looked a little divey on the inside (the walls were nice, they just needed 'better' tables and chairs was all to elevate the appearance.) My husband got the lamb burger and onion rings. I got the burger with avocado and sprouts and fries. Both were an excellent burger at an very decent price. My husband said the onion rings were homemade and VERY good too. I saw they had a few different kinds of mustard on the table. I tried the Dussledorf and holy cow, that was DELICIOUS!!! I squirted an enormous pile of it on my plate and dipped my fries in it! My wife and I finally made it to Abby Lane. We've been meaning to come here for quite awhile, but after the man that cleans our carpets told us about how great their burgers are, we knew we had to try it. When we arrived shortly before noon on a Saturday, there was only a couple of parking spots left. I felt for sure that the place was packed and we might not get to try their burgers. But when we entered, the place was empty. We dined in and had our pick of the six tables. We were greeted promptly by a very friendly lady who was the hostess, waitress, and cashier. We ordered our 1/3 lb burgers medium with our choice of toppings from a long list on the menu. They arrived in short order and were delicious. Nothing better than a thick juicy cheeseburger on a grilled soft bun with all fresh toppings! I also ordered their curly fries and they came hot and delicious. The meal was everything I was expecting and more. It appeared that the majority of their business, at least at lunchtime, is carry-out. Some people say that you can tell a lot about a restaurant by the restrooms. They only have one, but it was spacious, well decorated, and most of all, clean. The only negative thing I can say about this place is that they don't have ample parking, which in all fairness, is not their fault. They are part of a small strip of businesses. Now, I wonder where all the people from those cars in the parking lot were. Anyway, if you love a great burger, make it a point to come here. read more

We've been going to Abbey Lane since they opened mainly for the burgers. All the burgers are outstanding! That being said you do have to ask them to make sure they cook the burger the way you like. I like medium well and it is quite often really pink inside and I only like my steaks that way. The rest of the food is just okay but not as much effort is put into it as the burgers and the fries aren't good. When children won't eat the fries they just aren't good enough! They need to get better fries which is a very important partner to the burger. Also the styrofoam containers have to go or they need waxpaper liners underneath everything. The hot foods melt into the styrofoam and becomes part of the meal. Cardboard or Foil containers with cardboard lids would be much better for some of the items. But for the Burgers we will be back! This place would be great also if they had a drive thru window. The parking is small and shared with a few other businesses. read more
