We went on Friday eve around 6:30 pm. Ordered Gongura dosa and Pesarattu. They come with peanut chutney instead of coconut chutney. Gongura dosa had a spicy edge. Both dishes where well made. I like the way they are rolled and cut - makes it easy to share and eat. I am giving three stars for service, ambiance, and how chaotic this place is. People are standing waiting for tables or to pay all around you (feels like over you). The servers feel stressed out and stretched. read more

We tried the thali meal. The chapati, puli kozhambu, poriyal, vathal, spinach dal, curd, lassi were good. I didn't like their style of sambar much. This is typical Andhra Brahmin style cooking. Tastes pretty homemade. read more

One of my Sunnyvale favorites. Most dosas can be made vegan on request (with oil instead of ghee).

Typical andhra food. They have a limited thali and an unlimited one. The limited one has quite a lot of food. They also serve dosas. The staff owner is very friendly and happy to have customers. The only downside was the paratha with the thali was not great. read more

Randomly chose to try this place. A lot of people were inside already. Service was terrible. A waiter was not helping us so customers on our next table helped us. Great food. Very spicy though. Food was fresh unlike other south Indian restaurants that have taken a very relaxed approach to freshly prepared food during COVID. Food was also packaged better than most restaurants. I usually cannot handle any spice whatsoever but had no problem with the food from this restaurant which is the reason for the 5 star rating. Worst service ever. Literally there were two tables which was not cleaned up immediately. Most of the people who were waiting left and we were the last one. Simple authentic Indian Telugu food. Tried the paneer dosa, thali and pesarattu upma. All three were good like a 8 to 9 out of ten. A few items in the thali felt like they could use a little less salt, probably okay if you eat a lot of rice with them. Will come back for more. We visited this place for dinner around 8PM and ordered one Thali and one dosa. The place was not crowded but it took 15min for the guy in the counter to take the order and another 30min to get the food. After almost done with eating, We saw on the board that they had many other items listed for Thali which we didn't get and had to call the guy thrice to get some attention to get the curd. After waiting for 10min and no proper response, we finished the Thali. When we were about to get up, a lady came with 4 more items (sambar, some kind of rice, rasam and curd) and asked politely if she can pack it for takeaway noticing that we finished the Thali already which we rejected. Ordered Rava dosa ,masala dosa and Idli. Rava dosa is very crispy the batter is different they either forgot the rava or less of maida it dint was like paper dosa . Masala dosa and the potatoe curry we're good. Idli and Sambar we're good too the major letdown were the two chutneys sour and spicy ,they had peanut and tomato . Unfortunately they didn't have the coconut ,but the lady at the counter was very cordial to offer ghee to tone the spicy flavour and some podi. Excellent food. However, what's even better is how accommodative they were of our requests. Our son has gluten- and nut-allergies and they were very patient in explaining which dishes we could order for my son. They were also made sure our son was okay with other ingredients in the dishes we order. They also made tamarind rice from scratch and made sure to check with us while they were preparing it.
