We passed by tandoori pizza multiple times and finally gave in cz of the tempting smells emanating from the store every time we would pass by. Their chilly paneer and malai paneer sounded very tempting to us, but we decided to try the chilly paneer as we only wanted the small pizza. They don't allow half and half on small pizzas but they do offer this on large pizzas. The pizza took about 15 mins to get ready. It was loaded with paneer. Since chilly paneer is in the spicier end, the person at the counter offered to tone it down with the sauce quantity and that worked out perfectly for us. Overall, the ambience is typical of a pizza place with many tables and booths. One callout is that this place is open till 4 am, so it's perfect for your late night munchies. Wanted to try a different pizza for dinner with the fam while we watched futbol. Ordered a pep pizza with extra pep and extra garlic sauce. Pizza looked yummy but there was hardly enough cheese. It had the most thinnest layer of cheese, almost non-existent. If there was a standard amount of cheese it would have been delish. I've been wanting to try this for several months now, and I'm glad I finally did! I love Indian flavors and love pizza, and Tandoori Pizza did great with both! This is a 5/5 for a fast pizza spot. I ordered the Curry Chicken and my boyfriend ordered the Chicken Masala Pesto. The pizza crust was thick but crispy on the outside, and toppings were abundant without weighing down the slice. The curry definitely had a kick but was not overwhelming like I thought it might be as the base sauce. We ordered takeout so I can't totally speak to the service, but they were right on the 15-20 minute mark, contrary to what some other comments suggest at other times. Update since our last visit-- They are still open 24hrs. We just came and it was 9pm on a Tuesday night. There were a few people in the restaurant, but it wasn't overly busy. It took over 50 minutes for our pizza to come out. I remember last time, it took some time-- but not 50+ minutes for an XL pizza. The tops of the self-serve water jugs seem a little dirty as well. The pizza was good, but make sure you get a number when you place your order. The girl at the front didn't give us a number to place on our table, so maybe that affected our wait time. We asked 40+ min in about our order and she said, "it is coming". She came back with our number and then the pizza came out a little bit later. They still have ranch and another sauce to put on top of your pizza and we like to get one pizza half/half with the following: -BBQ Chicken Combo -Shahi Paneer Pizza (a little spicy). Probably the worst customer service and pizza we've ever experienced...we do not recommend this place. I am quite surprised by their rating, but maybe it's just this location that is terribly lacking? My partner and I decided to try this place out yesterday and we are in full regret. We waited nearly an hour for our pizza after watching 4 different parties who ordered AFTER us received their orders. Not to mention there was another table who had ordered way before us who also still did not receive their food either who was waiting there for over an hour. Mind you, we didn't order anything crazy we ordered one pizza for two people. A family of 4 who came after us got their two pizzas and appetizers before us. After we noticed this, the table who ordered before us asked the lady about their order and I proceeded to ask her about ours and mentioned that people who came in well after us was receiving their food before us? She just brushed us all off and said it was coming. We are very understanding when it comes to wait times, but the place was unkept and no one had the decency to communicate with us or the other table about the time or the fact that they served others before us. The lady ended up hiding in the back for the rest of the time we waited probably to avoid us. They did nothing to remedy this situation. We ended up getting the pizza Togo and frankly it was so undercooked we couldn't even eat it. We'll stick to Masala Pizza which has phenomenal service and delicious pizza. read more

Considering that Sunnyvale is not necessarily a "late-night town," I've been pleasantly surprised with the recent successes I've been having with the 24/7 eateries in this city. I came across this place on Yelp's collection of best pizza places in South Bay. I was waiting to come here on a day when I was finishing with work super late so I could take advantage of the 24/7 service. I wanted to try both types of pizza (meaning both Indian and American) so I got the lamb kebab, chili paneer, and classic vegetarian. I am generally not a fan of classic American style pizza, so I was approaching eating my pizza with a "it will be okay" attitude. However, I was quite surprised by the tastiness. The dough used in the crust was definitely unique and I've come to realize that that aspect is the key difference between the average American style pizzas and the good ones. The crust was not too airy or doughy and reminded me of the one at Campbell pizza (also serves quality Indian pizza). The toppings were also top quality especially on the paneer and kebab pizzas, which is NOT something I see with all Indian pizzas (*cough* Curry Pizza *cough*). I also got the paneer pasta as I was really curious to try that dish. Although it was nothing super fancy (basically like a simple pesto chicken penne only with paneer and a simple curry sauce instead of pesto and chicken), it actually worked pretty well. Even though the dish was slightly oily, the taste was on point. Again, I'm generally not a fan of American style pizza, but the pizzas served here are pretty reasonable especially for a 24/7 eatery. I have to change my review of this place. It used to be professional and good. Lately they have been making more mistakes and today they lost our order over the phone. When I was talking to one worker about how they lost it, he kept asking if we ordered to a different location as he was offering to make my order fast. As I was explaining that we only come here because we live close, another worker got aggressive and accused me of 'arguing for so long.' The orginial guy told him to calm down but he didn't. I was trying to see if I should take an order number over the phone or something to reduce the chance of these types of mistakes in the future while I tried to order again. In any case, I left with no pizza. I can no longer recommend this place as it has gotten unprofessional. Pizza is probably still decent, but I don't know as I wasn't really allowed to order due to the hostile employee. He seemed to be upset that there were a lot of customers waiting for thier orders. Good amount of toppings and sauce. I like the garlic cream sauce. The small size is actually decent for sharing for 2-3 people. The garlic sticks are also a nice supplement to the food table.
