It's a decent size with every drink or snack you could find in a deli. They also make fresh juices (love the Joey) and have a salad bar. The staff are super friendly and I usually see the same faces every morning/afternoon I go. If you want a decent deli sandwich that tastes as good as it would in the outer boroughs & costs less than $10, this is a great spot.

Monday to Friday…read morethey have two flavors: always chicken noodle plus a second flavor that varies and is usually vegetarian and sometimes vegan (corn chowder, vegetable barley, lentil, white bean, etc). I tried it once just for the heck of it and was shocked at how good it was. Apart from the great soup, they have all the other things one can expect in a deli/bodega and they are friendly to boot. And I just read that famed chef Wylie Dufresne goes there for egg and cheese on a roll.

I also did not want to risk trying a banana milk. I ended up getting hone lavender iced latte and wow what a very tasty iced latte this was. I wish I could taste more lavender though. About as fresh as it can be. It's about $5 to get the cheapest sandwiches. The last time here they had the Spicy Seitan Wrap. Also they have a salad bar with all kinds of things you can put into a container. They have proteins including chicken and tempeh. Has quite a lot for a locally owned grocery.
