We agreed to communicate via text to avoid misunderstandings. But, did not answer my question over text. At the day of the appointment, after checking with him and waiting for 2 hours ( 10am - 12pm. ) he send me a message at 12:05pm saying that he was 12min late. My car was broken into and the side window was smashed. The hard part was getting replacement glass, as this was a new car model. As soon as the glass arrived, I called ABJ auto glass and got an appointment quickly (basically the next day). When I made the appointment, they immediately gave me a price (which was extremely competitive and about 1/4th of what the dealership would have charged) and they honored that price. All I had to do was send some pictures of the car, and it was easy to make an appointment over the phone/text. ABJ auto glass gave me a time window, and even contacted me the day of to provide a more precise arrival time. The repair was flawless -- you can't tell at all the glass was replaced. ABJ auto glass was extremely efficient and -- more important to me -- was meticulous and had great attention to detail. (Including fishing out every last piece of broken glass from inside the car door to ensure it wouldn't be rattling around in there). The inside of the car was also vacuumed to remove any trace of glass. While I hope I won't need their services again any time soon, if I know who to call. My car was broken into and my insurance recommended AJ. AJ was very responsive and we scheduled a repair later that day. Unfortunately, since two windows were smashed, he ended up only being able to acquire one piece of glass that day. He was optimistic that it may come in later that night, but alas it was not meant to be. We rescheduled for the next day, AJ came with the two pieces and he did a very thorough job installing and vacuuming the glass. Despite the rescheduling I would still recommend AJ and his service. I got a same day appointment to replace my car window last week. They came to my house and were efficient in vacuuming the broken glass and replacing the window. They did miss some glass that was in the ac vent (I didn't notice this until a few days later). Otherwise, they were really polite and were able to answer any questions I had. They also took all the broken glass to dispose of. I hope to not have to get another window replaced any time soon, but now I know who to call if it ever happens again. read more

My car got broken into last Monday night. On Tuesday morning when I found the shattered back window I realized that it wasn't going to be an exactly pleasant day (though, luckily nothing was actually stolen). I called my auto-insurance who set me up with a mobile appointment with ABJ Auto Glass. Unfortunately, they would not be able to be at my place right away as they would need the time to find the appropriate fitted glass. By 6pm that same day they were able to get to my place and despite some minor snafus involving lack of electrical outlets they were able to clean up all the shattered glass and replace the back window as if nothing had happened. The serviceman, AJ, was very polite and courteous and got my car fixed up right away. I had a semi truck kick up a good size rock and broke my windshield, I went through my insurance and they recommended me to go to safe light auto glass, that was a nightmare! They didn't have my replacement windshield, so I rescheduled, I ended up being 10 minutes late and they didn't service my vehicle. We used AJ for our glass replacement after our car got broken into on a Saturday. About 5 hours after we called, he was able to come to our location with his pick-up truck and replace our window, which included vacuuming up all the spare glass, taking out the old window, putting in the new one, and recalibrating the window sensors. Unfortunately there was a bit of a mixup because the warehouse gave him the wrong type of window, but he came back at no extra charge on Sunday to install the right one. AJ probably gets a lot of last minute calls, so scheduling can be a bit on-the-fly, which means that sometimes he'll call you back saying that he's actually going to be there one hour later than he originally said. However, if you're flexible with timing, he's a great option. Note that the window that you get replaced will not be an "original" part, so if you want an window from the original manufacturer you should go through your dealership but it will be more expensive (in our case, it was about $70 more expensive through the dealership). Someone broke the rear glass of my mini suv. Called this guys up to fix it, recommended by my insurance. I called them 12pm And said they'll come at 4-5pm. No show. Pass 6pm he calls and tells me he's been calling but my phone was busy (lie). He said he'll be in my apartment 45 mins to and hr. I asked him to bring light coz its already dark. He said he has it. He comes and tells me its too dark to do it (where's his light??? I dont know). So we moved the appointment to 10am the next day. 9:45am I called him just to make sure he's ready. He said he'll leave at 10. He's 10 Mins away from My place. 10:45am I called him again he said there's an accident down the street I live in(lie). 11:05 i called him again and he said he's getting in the apartment parking. 11:15 he arrives. WTH?!!!! he came alone. Said it will only take an hr to do it. He said his helper is coming, no helper came, he didn't make a phone call while he was doing this either. He finished around 3pm. He said if i paid cash he wouldn't tax me. So i got cash. Promised me he would give me a discount since he's late. Original price was $438 without tax. He made me pay $420. He said that the no tax is already part of the "I'm late" discount even though he gave me that price before scheduling when he would come out. The work is pretty decent. He's not rude either. I just hate Liars and people who cant commit to time. read more

He was late to first appointment and I had to call him to see where he was after he was not there in my two hour window. After already waiting during my scheduled two hour window, I was not able to wait on him to get there any longer, but decided to try again and reschedule. Then he was over an hour late to the second appointment. He said it would take 45 min-1 hour to replace, but took an 1.5 hours. I would strongly recommend ABJ Auto Glass for any car glass replacement. He was available the day after I called to come out to replace a smashed window on my car. Other companies first available day was two weeks out and double the price. When the company he was getting the glass from delivered the wrong window to him, he drove all the way from Sunnyvale to Modesto the following day to pick up the correct window since he had told me he would get it done that day and the company he was getting the glass from doesn't deliver on Saturday. I called in 10 quotes and he was the 2nd cheapest - but expect him to add 5-10 procent and as many of the reviews states he is not on time. DON'T go to this place. They will SCREW YOU OVER. I have a cracked windshield. I called my insurance company last week and made arrangements for them to come out to my home and fix it. I tried to get it done sooner and couldn't, now the crack has spread. They gave me a time range of 2-4pm today. I called at 12:00pm today to confirm. They assured me they would be here from 3-5. I told them they had promised 2-4. They said ok, fine, see you then. At 1:51pm some guy from some RANDOM glass company I have never heard of called me and told me that ABJ Auto glass had cancelled (no reason was provided AT ALL, the guy didn't know) and if I wanted them to do the work (I guess they tried to sub-contract out?) I would need to call my insurance company to give them permission. So I called my insurance company, spent another 40 minutes on the phone only to be told that it would probably be an extra $200-250 dollars since that particularly glass company charges more. Sop now I have been trying to find someone last minute to fix my windshield because ABJ Auto Glass thought it would be ok to just cancel without any sort of offer to reschedule, an apology or even a call. They suck, I have written this review and told my insurance company EXACTLY what happened and what I think of them. Also, I had to take today off work because I can't have the windshield replaced where I work. Thank you ABJ for totally FU*&King me over. DON'T USE THIS PLACE THEY SUCK.
