Very poor customer service. I came in to have a dress hemmed and was barely acknowledged when I walked in. The seamstress was on her phone and only told me to go to the fitting room after I stood there confused for a minute. She told me my dress would be ready by May 30, but when I came back on June 4, it still wasn't done. She laughed it off and told me to return in 30 minutes. When I came back, the dress was hanging on the rack and she told me to grab it myself while she sat by her sewing machine. Missing the promised pickup date with no apology and providing such poor customer service is unacceptable. I won't be returning. read more

I brought in a white dress shirt to be hemmed and laundered for my wedding. When I picked it up five days later, I noticed the store's written tag had bled onto the front of the shirt. (See photo.) I called the store repeatedly for two hours before the female asian lady (owner) finally answered and told me to come the next day. I arrived at 8:30 AM (their posted opening time) and waited an hour, only to learn from neighboring stores that she typically opens whenever she wants. When I finally reached her by phone at 10:30 AM, she casually said the store was open and to come by. Upon returning, she first denied that the stain was caused by her tag - until I showed her the tag and matched the lettering. She aggressively and reluctantly agreed to clean my shirt while FaceTiming with a friend in one hand. Three days later, I picked it up, confident that there wouldn't be any more issues. Only to find a dark stain on the back of the collar. (See photo.) I ended up going to another dry cleaner a few blocks away--more expensive but worth it. TL;DR: Pay a little more for better service. I wouldn't recommend this place and am surprised by their decent reviews--maybe their mistakes just go unnoticed. I would avoid if you're getting anything meaningful altered/cleaned. read more

I selected Courtside Cleaners due to the great ratings on Yelp. This was my first time with this cleaner. I am disappointed to have to share my experience for the two items I took in for alterations. The end result of the alternation came out fine, although a bit pricey. $40 for a dress hem (2 layers) and $25 for a jacket hem. At drop off, the lady at the counter, I suspect is the owner. She wasn't welcoming, looked upset. She barely wanted to speak to me and pointed over to a makeshift changing room, gesturing for me to try on my alterations. I followed her instructions, was given the price, ticket and I left. Upon pick up, 2 days after it was ready, she opened late so there was a line and while she was helping the customer in front of me, she pointed me to a rack and asked me to look through it for my alterations. I let her know it's not there. She couldn't locate my items and then realize it's in her car. She took a rolling rack to her car in front of the store and loaded my dress along with other items, a basket full of clothes. She dropped a pair of pants and jacket along the way where I helped pick it up for her. She is a mess. Highly disorganized and a bit worried that she has lost my tweed jacket - she later found in the store. She placed my 2 items on a hanger and sent me on my way. I asked her for a plastic cover in which she hesitated but obliged. We all have off days and the lack of customer service initially did not deter me from returning. However, the disorganization and searching for my items questions if my items will be lost one day. Not a good feeling. read more

Believe Yelp with the three dollar signs! I brought in my dress to be dry cleaned and the girl at the front said another person will call me the next day to give me a quote. I didn't think too much of it but the next day I was quoted $30 which is 30% of the cost of my dress. why the heck would I want to pay that much? I might as well wear it dirty two more times and then just throw it away if I need to keep dry cleaning it at that cost. I told her it was way too pricey and then she tried to haggle with me and brought it down to $25 LOL. I went to another dry cleaning and they charged me $15. Well I been coming here for a couple of months..well the Vietnamese lady who takes your clothes was very rude., after losing 80 pounds.. she told me I was fat and I needed to lose weight and said I was beefy and I had a lot of meat hanging from my upper arms..yup.. I was appalled.. how can human being he so rude.. At least I can still loose more weight.. but what is your excuse she is not beautiful... I am surprised she has a good profitable business with her rudeness and attitude... she doesn't even answer the phone right..not professional at all when it comes to customer service and answering the phone. TERRIBLE! I brought in my uniform friday just to get pressed because I have inspection monday morning! She told me to come back Saturday. I did and one my WHITE UNIFORM was STAINED with BROWN STAINS ! she then said there was nothing she could do about it. Needed some pants hemmed and in a pinch, came across this place. I was told it'd be $7 to get the pants hemmed and they'd be ready in 4 days. I asked if I could have them same day since I no longer live close by and was told it would cost $10 to have them same day and ready by 5pm. I asked if I could have them within 2 hours and the lady said she would do them for me. Awesome customer service and great price. The worst experience EVER. I came here on a Monday, dropped 3 items off - Juicy Couture sweats for hemming, a silk blouse with spots for Dry Clean, and a top for alteration. I was told my clothes would be ready on Thursday. I come in on Thursday, pick up the sweats, and the blouse. I was told the top for alteration was not ready yet. What? Okay..fine I will come back. So I get home, and I realize, the sweats are done pretty poorly. Whatever though, they are just sweats. Okay, so I check the silk blouse, the spots I pointed out are still there. So I return the shirt back on the same day I *was told* my top for alteration would be ready. I come in, and the top is STILL not ready (all I needed was for her to shorten the sleeves) AND she asks me why didn't I check the silk blouse when I was there last time? uhhh? Because I assumed it was clean like it's supposed to be?? So, she takes the silk blouse back, and tells me to come and get my shirts tommorow. Tommorow rolls around, and no one can find my stuff. Are you kidding? You lost both of my shirts? She even had me looking with her! So she takes my phone number and calls me later in the afternoon. My silk blouse is located, and cleaned correctly. My top for alteration, however is STILL not ready. It's now been over a week. At this point, I am pissed. I have gone back and forth to this place several times, and not once could someone call me from there, just to tell me, hey your stuff isn't ready, don't waste your time coming in. WTF? you think I have nothing to do but make trips all day back and forth? I ask for the owner, they tell me she isn't there. I left my phone number for them to call me. I finally get a call a few days later to come and get the top for alteration. I come in to pick it up, and the owner is not there. I check the work, see that my $100 top now has a hole in it, and loose stiches and strings all over. POOR POOR work, I could of done that by myself. This crazy woman HAD THE NERVE to ask me to pay?! Absolultey not, in fact, you should PAY ME for the damages. I just said to her no way, there's a hole in the shirt and I'm not even going there with you, you already know. And she did, because she didn't even put a fight. So I walked out...and as I am walking out, I see another disgruntled customer taking her clothes back in with a unhappy look on her face....good luck read more

Had my work uniform dry cleaned. They promised me ready Thur after 5p. Friday morning - everything was ready but my shirt. Missed work b/c I didn't have a pressed uniform. Went back to pick up my shirt the next week. Waited 15 min in line. Two of the three people in front of me were missing clothes. Everything was cleaned well - it's up to you if you want to risk it. I have yet to use them to do dry cleaning, but judging on the lines that I come across out the door they are doing something right. I come here for the tailoring, especially jeans and dress pants. The owner is fantastic and she usually charges only about $6 per item. The most "expensive" item I've had hemmed here was a dress that cost me $8 because it was lined. The only reason I'm giving it four stars and not five is that the last couple of times, I'll come in when they tell me my tailoring would be done and the poor owner was so overwhelmed and behind she asked me to come back another day if possible. But don't let it deter you, they do a great job. read more

WARNING. DO NOT USE THIS DRY CLEANER. THEY LOST MULTIPLE ITEMS OF EXPENSIVE MEN'S DRESS CLOTHING, AND REFUSE TO COMPENSATE FULLY FOR GIVING US ANOTHER CUSTOMERS CLOTHING. The first two pairs of men's dress pants we found in our possession, months after those transactions took place, belonged to other male customers. They compensated us for each of those two pants at an agreed amount, and both pairs of pants, totally different sizes, were left with the drycleaner to find the owners. I asked them to continue looking for our order. No response. Over a month later while cleaning out our closet, I found yet another order, with a pair of men's dress pants and a men's dress shirt in dry cleaning bag with tags still on, that also did not belong to us. After going in and informing them, (I kept these clothes as evidence of our loss), I waited a month with no response from manager, so I went back again. They still refused to provide the name of owner or manager to me, and now they refused to take responsibility or acknowledge their incompetence. In return for being good customers for the past couple of years, they refused to have the owner or manager respond to me after waiting a month. Then, the Asian woman I typically did business with, had the audacity to accuse me of doing something underhanded, when I was in possession of clothing not belonging to us, given by them. I continually asked how I could possibly have clothing from another customer if we had been returned our own, and she just dumbly stood there without speaking further, then went back to her job, leaving me completely flabbergasted at her rudeness and the moronic situation I faced. I left, and will file complaints with BBB and small claims court over this matter. Something they could have easily and apologetically agreed to settle but refused. Bottom line is, they lost several pieces of men's clothing, giving us someone else's clothing, then refused to take responsibility for their incompetence and compensate us properly for each clothing loss we sustained while doing business with them.
