While I didn't use them. I did have a a scheduling issue with them and they were so helpful to address everything. So I will most likely stick with them in the future, if I don't. It's not anything they did wrong as their entire customer service team was beyond helpful not to get my business, but just hear what went wrong and ask what they could do better. I always thought highly of Absolute Air Flow. We actually had an entire new system installed five years ago. The other day my unit was not cooling and I had a gentleman come out to check it out. He proceeded to tell me that the compressor has gone out and he got his boss on the phone and they wanted to charge me $23,000 for a completely new system then drop the price down to $17,000. I could not believe what I was hearing as this entire unit inside and out was only five years old. I decided to call another company out and have them look at it and the gentleman that came said there's nothing wrong with our unit. It's fine but because it is a newer unit, everything is electronic and the inside furnace and the outside air-conditioning unit communicate with each other. The outside unit had shut down and the gentleman said you just have to shut the power off to each unit for a few minutes and then turn them back on so that they can communicate with each other. The inside unit and the outside unit have individual breakers and that's all he did was turn them both off and turn them back on and the unit is working fine now. He used all his gauges and checked everything and said everything was fine. That cost me $88. I can't believe absolute Airflow sent someone to my house that had no idea that you could do that. And they wanted to charge me so much money for another system. I will never call them again. If I could give them zero stars I would. Shame on you, Absolute Air Flow read more

Informed them prior company said descale and liner would not be done. They said they could do it as seen worse, so estimate of $18,500.00 for 40 linear feet. Back line is 1 told could not do and turns out they could not do it either pipe broken. Front pipe they did. they tell me both lines are 40 linear feet each witch is BS as house only 1175 sq ft. Each line is roughly 25'. On line they could not do they left original price like they did it then through on another $11,250 to boot to dig it up. When I started arguing with them about $9,250.00 extra cost that they did not do they stopped work with floor open through the house. Final said I would pay they went back to work but was really shabby with cement dust throughout the house. Now I still have to hire someone to finish floors and carpet as they have failed to send anyone or call me back. Lying thieves through and through oh and I am disabled senior vet. read more

IT IS JULY it has been 18 days that we have not had a working a/c unit and I am pissed. Called Friday 7/12 and they said they couldn't get someone out until Monday. Monday rolls around and my husband had to call multiple times to get a window of service. Someone finally came and told us the motor is busted and need a part for repair. We have had to do all the leg work in getting this issue solved. There is zero communication and we keep getting the typical customer service line "I am escalating this immediately and someone will call you back shortly" We purchased a new unit and had Absolute redo our HVAC system. Of course there was very little lag time, makes sense when you're about to shell out 19k. Now that we need our unit fixed less than two years later (UNDER WARRANTY I might add), crickets. And then being told "we have a part we could use to repair it but that would void your warranty" OUR 10 YEAR WARRANTY. Maybe this will help me get someone on the phone with a solution because they have been absolutely ridiculous and useless so far. 7/17 After calling repeatedly my haindna was able to get them to drop off portable a/c units. Two units for our 4 bedroom house.we are tolerating the heat ** It is now 7/29 and they are waiting on a part from the manufacturer (that is back ordered!) to repair. This sounds to be like they CANNOT REPAIR so my unit which is under 10 year warranty should be replaced. No one calls when they say they will call, we keep getting generic messages like "this is of utmost importance to us" "we are marking this as urgent" "I will get an update and call you immediately" Do better, I will continue to call and reach out via all methods of contact because it's been 18 days and that is completely unacceptable. read more

Already was a satisfied customer from a hefty air conditioning overhaul project that could have been a massive nightmare with a less reputable contractor a few years back. Had a make good offer from last summer due to some appointment delays on maintenance that included plumbing services. I didn't know they did plumbing prior so that came as a surprise. I was 18 months out from my last tankless water heater flush and cleaning so when the text offer for a maintenance appointment came in, I scheduled it alongside my summer AC check-in. Josh and Eddy came out and educated me on the details of my current set-up. The crazy Cali weather had gotten to my outdoor mid-tier tankless over the past 9 years. The valves were locked up and pipe joints were scaling and oxidizing and Josh and Eddy could not complete the flush and service as is. So we rescheduled for repairs the following week. They offered an affordable repair and improved filter option as my request to buy a few more years out of my tankless. After talking through the process and educating my wife and I on tankless, we made the call to replace the tankless with a higher quality modern Navien. Not cheap in the short term but 25 year warranty and peace of mind that the tankless won't cause further issues for the duration of our owning this property is worth it. The previous work was included in the price and a few extra improvements (out of code gas connection fixed) hit the quality standards I've come to expect from Absolute. Our AC and water heater are now in premium shape, up to code, and ready to boost our home value in the future. And with a pleasant afternoon chatting with Josh and Eddy to boot. They took the time to educate on every component and bit of the process, double checked each other's work constantly, and ensured nothing left behind for my dogs to get into after they left. Another fantastic home install from Absolute. My dog Chugsly even gave his seal of approval and let Josh pet him. Escalated to needing way more work - very persistent about needing to do this before it gets more expensive and ruins my system (which was installed 4 years ago). Very persistent, very persuasive, talked me into signing document for starting work on a pad - I didn't get to read it - the salesperson pressured me a lot - just sign here, sign here - you can cancel if you want to. I am trying to cancel on the same day - getting the run around - can't get the right phone number to call, when I reach live person - they can't give me the right phone number. Sales person says I waived my right to cancel. I see that on the document that I was emailed. But there is NO WAY ON EARTH I WOULD HAVE WAIVED THAT. Don't sign up for anything with this company. Nowadays it is hard to find a plumber who will not only perform a really good plumbing job without at the same time charging the customer "an arm and a leg" service fee. I have finally found one called 'Absolute Airflow Conditioning, Heating and Plumbing." This company's main consideration was not the price they would charge but to perform a quality service that would make the customer happy after they leave. Their service fee was very reasonable and their repair was up to my satisfaction. Not only their outstanding service performance deserved mention but their service technician needs a pat on the back. Jack Kim was so friendly and knowledgeable about plumbing that I even added an additional job for him to complete. The technician was polite, have a lot of patience in listening to a problem and completed the job fast and in a clean manner. He never tried to over-sell a plumbing job nor make a plumbing job look so complicated. I would describe Jack to be a very honest, sincere man with integrity. Our shower broke, so we gave Absolute Airflow a call! They had Andrew out to our house the same day to assess the issue, and he stopped the leak that had started when the shower broke. When he returned with the parts, he did an amazing job: even though he had to cut through our tile (the other side of the wall is occupied by bookcases so he couldn't go in that way!), he repaired it to the point that you can't even tell there was ever anything wrong. He also offered to swap out our old toilets, so we went ahead and did that too. 100% would use again! read more

I am writing a review based upon my interaction with Erica. She needs to be retained. I had decided to pick up the call from a number that had been constantly calling me for weeks now and never left a message. She was rude from the beginning and I had asked her to take me off the list like o had requested previously. We had no need for any service. She then proceeded to talk to me in a very condescending tone asking me when I should like to schedule the service for. After I told her I didn't need an appointment it went even further downhill. This review is primarily for their customer service and maintenance. We had Absolute Airflow install a new HVAC unit in the house and they did a fantastic job. The staff was nice to work with and the end result was impressive. When it came time to maintenance our unit, Absolute Airflow was advertising a special for $99 to maintenance the AC and look at the plumbing. We jumped all over it. When I spoke to the customer service representative, I told them I was having a difficult time locating the filter they used (14x25x4.5) online, and that we really needed to have one replaced. She assured me that there would be one on the car for me. Well, the maintenance guy came out and did not have the filter, and had no idea one was requested. He said he would check their local supply shop, and after about an hour, he gave up. I called customer service and they said they would order one. That was four weeks ago and we haven't heard anything back from them. I ended up finding the part by myself and ordering it though a different vendor. So in conclusion, their install team? Fantastic. Their customer service and maintenance team? Very subpar. read more

I requested a visit to get a check up on my a/c units as we just moved in. I received a notification/text informing me that someone would be arriving at 9am. To my biggest surprise, I got a knock on my front door by Tony E. I was surprised that he was EARLY to get started as typically, company personnel are generally always late. He greeted me with a friendly smile and was eager to get started. I showed Tony where all units were located and he immediately got started. My bathroom sink was clogged. They sent a plumber to my house. Guy was friendly but did not do his job. They had a 69.00 dollar promotion to get the job done but didn't. Once plumber came in he tried 2 different machines and could not fix my sink. He said he will charge me 250.00 and said 90% he was sure it will work and it didn't. Then, he tried to increase the price to 450.00 to run a camera in but called another guy to do it supposedly later which I did not accept. He took 250 dollars and left without fixing my sink and still clooged. I called and requested a refund but only got 181 back. They took 69 dollars for doing nothing. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE AND DON'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT THEY DO. They have no remorse and will go after your money and wipe you clean. Cannot speak to their HVAC business or quality of work, but our experience with their plumbing crew was not one we'll want to repeat. Quoted us almost _triple_ the price of who we ended up using - and not even a guarantee this would be the max, in fact we're not even certain what would actually be covered under that cost. The tech they sent out had almost no experience with the kind of job we requested to get looked at, and spent a lot of time on unsolicited side chitchat about, eg, the expensive vehicles he owns or owned. The company charged us almost $100 to simply take a look, which is not unheard of but also not really standard either - as we discovered by calling around. read more

Got ripped off with my 18k unit. Multiple issues had tech come out multiple times lucky it was warranty . Warranty doesnt work on weekends so if your heater goes out like our 6 month old unit did youll have to freeze till monday! Now on to the best part i have a special air filter that no tech has ever heard of. To get the filter custom made cost 300$ again 6 months old!! when i call to complain cant get ahold of manager wait days for a call back. Had a tech come out for a tune up and he didnt even clean my condenser coils! Long story short absolute air flow original owner sold his company because he was struggling and now everything is completely upside down! I wish i could pull my contingency of 1 year if you dont like it they will take all their equipment back and give me my 18k i paid back! We have had a good experience with Absolute. We recently installed the HVAC system with them. It was installed thoroughly and promptly. The staff was very prompt in addressing any concerns/questions we had. In particular Maria, the project manager, always responded to our questions and needs right away, giving us accurate information, and following through on what she said would be done. The crew that came and installed the HVAC was very professional and thorough. We received compliments from the city inspector stating that our air ducts were beautifully organized and placed. Nick came out to my house to flush my 2 year old water heater upon arrival he put on booties intruded himself and thanked me for inviting him to our home for services we had gotten with our membership. He began flushing my tank and while it was being serviced he walked me through my entire house and we inspected all areas of the home which was nice because lots of the stuff we don't even remember exist. After inspecting everything he explained different options we could consider for upgrading our system all the way from a tankless with a great warranty and a home water filter. I'm from out of town and was in town to look into replacing our furnace on a rental property. Based on all these great reviews I gave them a call. What a complete waste of time. They were supposed to come over at 1:30pm on Thursday to do an estimate. No one shows up I called them at 2pm to see where their guy is. What a pain in the ass to go through their phone system and to find someone in customer service, only to get a message that the guy isn't available. I called back 4 times and got the same message. By this time I'm annoyed because we're in OC for a limited time and was starting to run behind schedule. Finally on the 5th try, someone picks up. They scheduled my consultation for Friday not Thursday. Our flight back home is on Friday. Why would we tell them Friday? I told them thank you but we're not going to go with them at this point. I will say that the guy was nice an apologetic. Ten minutes later I get a call from that guy again. The guy asked if I had called them just now and wanted to follow up. Apparently their phone system captured my phone number when I couldn't get a hold of them. I told them we had just talked and reminded him that they scheduled my estimate for the wrong date. The guy was embarrassed again, apologized, and hung up. What a cluster. So glad this happened now instead of later if we went with them. read more

Jay came over to my house in Summer 2012 to examine our poorly performing air conditioning. Our conditioning is well over 15 years old and needing replacing. Jay laid out 2 different options with estimates for both options. My wife and I discussed both options and made our choice and called Jay to have him and/or his crew come out and make the necessary installation. Jay didn't respond until I kept persistently calling him & finally reached him by voice instead of by voicemail. He stated that he was super busy and that he would get to us eventually. Well, the summer came and went, and Jay was never heard from again. He really ought to resign the HVAC business and become a magician, because that fella sure can disappear. I don't think Jay is a bad person, but his company clearly lacks the staff or the organization to keep up with his workload. So his problem became our problem. Just when I thought I could get away from having a new AC installed, Indian Summer arrived. Jay, Tim, Justin and Tony were just wonderful folks to work with. Within days from the service call, they installed a Goodman Air Conditioning System and added new thermostat. It wasn't a walk at the beach, let me tell you, since my property was built in the late 70's, to top it off, it was high noon and 90 plus degrees -- I could almost feel the beads of their sweat come into contact with my roof top. But no, not a single complaint for these gentlemen. Thank you, guys, for being punctual and efficient.
