The issue turned out to be a leaking pipe connection near the outdoor valve, so they had to cut the damaged section of pipe, remove and rework the 90-degree elbow and adapter, then reconnect everything back into the valve. They also confirmed that the valve itself was still good, which helped avoid replacing more than was actually necessary. The price was a little on the higher side, but considering the quick response, next-day service, and quality of the work, I can forgive it. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently, and I'm glad the problem was taken care of properly. I'd definitely recommend Rapid Action Rooter and would use them again.

My husband and I had been working with another big local plumber in the South Bay for 7 yrs. They did all the plumbing in the home we gutted and serviced our rental property installing water heaters, faucets etc and it got to the point where we felt like a number vs a name and face so we started the search for a new plumber relationship. My 95 yr old father in law had a leaky "main" to his house and we thought it was a great way to experience a new plumber and the reviews for GG don't lie. The guy who came out was friendly, knowledgeable and skilled. what struck us was when he offered both the option to replace as well as repair. Maybe we are jaded by the many service providers who always scare you into doing more extensive work than necessary but this guy seemed like he was advising us like he would advise his own grandfather. The work was done well and it's been nearly a year and no more problems. Because of this experience we decided to work with GG for our tankless water heater maintenance. The price was upfront and reasonable and a different technician came but equally friendly, knowledgeable and diligent. He shared upfront what he was going to do ( you'd be surprised all that goes into this) and approximately how long it would take ( barring any issues) and when he was done, you'd never even know anyone was here it so clean. Third experience was with a shower that wasn't producing hot water and we had a third Good Guy come who expertly assessed the situation, gave us the proposed plan and fees and came back to fix it when I received the part from the mfg. this technician also spoke to us as if we were family or friends when he gave us tips about turning on the hot water even in bathrooms that weren't being used because the parts can break if you don't use it. so he told us how he runs everything at least once a month and now we do that and think of him. Recently, we had to replace two faucets in our rental and of course called GG who came quickly. I had a question about the work and called the home office and without question they had me talk to Rob, the service manager,who spoke to me with respect and full transparency and I felt genuinely heard and understood. ZERO EGO and no patronizing. ( as a professional woman who doesn't even get that from other male colleagues, this was a a big deal) Faucets in and working and tenants happy- goal accomplished. GG Plumbing is not set up to be the cheapest service provider but it's clear they pride themselves on delivering the best experience and outcome at a very fair price ( including warranty). To me the peace of mind working with a trusted company is key and they won me over.

They then asked for full payment with no intention of installing the enclosure panels, which is why we requested a reduction in price. 2) They left without telling us and left BOTH DOORS of my garage open. We found our cat wandering the streets, thankfully not lost or dead, and no one broke in before we discovered the open doors. I gave them that feedback, and their reply was, "We didn't know you had a cat." I can only conclude based on their response that if you do not have pets, they think it is okay to leave your home open to the public. You get what you pay for. If you're willing to compromise your safety for a job done by people who clearly have zero respect for you, your safety, and your home, these are your guys.

I had a whole discussion with the plumber, Ernesto on should he remove the shower faucets too, but because the refinishing would take a while, and the way shower handles work, I'd have to leave the water to the condo off for weeks while the refinishing was done. So we both agreed not worth it. I am mentioning this because we had a detailed conversation on saving the sink faucets. I even told him I'd wrap them in paper carefully when he was done. I then left him to do his work. I came back in and he was whacking away at the handles. I asked him what he was doing and he said it was the only way to remove them. I asked him if they would then be salvageable and he said no. I asked him in a panic why the heck he didn't run this by me. I would've told him not to remove the faucets if he couldn't get them out and salvage them! What he did next blew my mind. He picked up and left. He didn't reconnect the waterlines. He didn't reconnect the angle stop. He left a mess. I called the company and Melissa was very nice to me and listened to my complaints and sent somebody else out to at least give me water by hooking up the angle stops. He showed up was very angry and did bad work. The angle stops did not hold water. I called the company back and nobody answered. Nobody answered today either, a day later. Now I will be filing complaints with the contractor state licensing board, and anybody else that is relevant. Not only did he destroy my faucets, but he broke my sink as visible in the photos and video. I wouldn't call Sal's plumbing ever if you care about the quality of your home. They clearly do not care about their customers and should be put out of business.

Sure enough, it turned out to be our dimmer switch -- it just couldn't hold the charge properly and was causing the constant flickering. What really stands out is that Ian could have easily scheduled a service call and charged me a couple hundred bucks to come out. Instead, he gave me the exact fix for free and saved me the hassle and expense. In a world where so many companies push for paid visits, this level of honesty and helpfulness is rare and genuinely appreciated. Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Everyone was scheduled to arrive on December 24th, and the night of the 23rd my hot water heater stopped working. It was 8pm and I needed to get the problem fixed immediately. Craigslist has often been my go-to source for finding contractors, so I hopped on and saw an ad for MFS Plumbing. I made the call and was instantly impressed with Mark's friendly demeanor, Scottish accent, and enthusiasm for getting my problem solved. He arrived at my home within 25 minutes and quickly diagnosed the issue. Mark gave me 3 options, clearly and concisely explaining not only what the issue was but how we could fix it. He gave me a Fixed Price to Repair, Repair & Replace, and a New Installation. Given the age / condition of the water heater that I inherited with my condo, I decided to buy a new one from MFS and they gave me a 10 Year Tank Warranty in writing. The price was very reasonable. I signed the Contract and Mark was back with a Tank in just a couple of hours. His Assistant covered my floors in protective pvc plastic sheeting, they all wore Boot Covers (nice touch) and removed my old heater safely and efficiently. Carlos is knowledgeable, personable, reliable, and multifaceted. I could tell right away that he loves the work that he does by his energy. These are the people you want to hire. He showed up to my house within 30 mins of the APB post on Yelp. All other companies took well over two hours to respond. Carlos assessed the pipe rupture and gave a fair, honest and affordable price for repairs. All other companies estimated 3 to 4 times more, without visiting in person. He repaired the leak and even went further by reinforcing the pipe because his experience told him where weak points in the pipe were, underground. Even my neighbors were walking over to inquire him for work. Overall, I am very satisfied with his performance and intend to hire him for future plumbing (and/or electrical, yes he does that too!) jobs. At first everything was great, he fixed our main shower taps, installed a washer and dryer and then we were experiencing a leak from our upstairs neighbor. He went and investigated the situation and even cut the dry wall and fixed the pipe a month ago and provided a plumbers report for insurance and HOA purposes. Turns out he never fixed it, he rescheduled multiple time to come address the issue and then never came and now we've had to have our entire kitchen gutted because of the leak and its still not fixed. He was paid $1200 for this.... and he didnt do ANYTHING.. He also recently helped us change the taps in our smaller bathroom 3 weeks ago and left us with it leaking. He wanted to charge me an extra $75 to go 4 miles down the street and grab a nut that is less than $10. We've scheduled him 3 times to come and fix the job that we paid him for and he's cancelled multiple times and now he wont even answer our messages. He is extremely unorganized and flakey. He will schedule with you and then message you the morning of and say he is stuck on another project that he is obviously getting paid more for but wont finish the ones he is already working on. He has said his car has broken down twice... and now its obvious he just doesnt care. Dont recommend him at all. If you are looking for a reliable plumber this aint your guy at all. Happy for anyone to reach out to me personally and I can provide more proof as to why James is not the plumber for you.

When I tried to reach out to have the issue addressed, communication was almost nonexistent. My calls were not returned, after repeatedly asking him to come back he would just say he was busy on other jobs and never make time for the job he failed to finish with me and I paid him! The lack of professionalism and accountability after being paid was frustrating. I expected better communication and for the work to stand behind itself. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend based on my experience.

I had William and his assistant stop by to also review the work to be done. They found that the issue was a rotted fitting between 2 of the pipes. Within 2 hours they fixed the issue and charged me less than 10% of the other estimates. I am a HUGE fan of Mr Thomas and he has earned my Trust and will be my Go To Plumber moving forward. Like I said Mr. Thomas has been my go to plumber for the past few years. He recently put in a tankless water heater and the cost for the parts and labor were exactly what he quoted me and he of course he did an outstanding job.
