I went in for a consult with the oral surgeon and made an appointment six weeks in advance for wisdom teeth extraction, 4 teeth in total. Close to my appointment date I never received a phone call confirming my appointment. I then called the office myself and made sure everything was squared away that week of my appointment. They proceeded to tell me that they lost my Pano and therefore could not get approval from my insurance company to pay for the fees. I was upset as I am also a medical professional and had to take time off of work for this procedure. They then called the medical insurance and had an expedited claim made after I made a big deal about it . By the time I came in for my appointment the approval from insurance had not come in so I had to pay $760 out of pocket. On top of the "managers" telling staff I was "trippin" on them. Well, wouldn't this upset you to? Surgery is already nerve wracking and this behavior makes it even more uncomfortable for the patient. To make matters worse the staff wheeled me out of the facility unconscious and incoherent. As a medical professional who does surgery myself, I can assure you that if I would have fallen outside this could have led to serious consequences for the company. The front staff was extremely rude and they did not take their job seriously. I am disappointed that I spent $760 at a place so unprofessional. Absolute dental, your clerical staff's behavior 100% reflects on your business and the trust the patient instills in it's providers. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I had an emergency visit and Dr. Abdou was excellent. Had xrays and exam, but was never given a schedule of visits and/or costs. There were costs that there were alternative solutions and they wouldn't even hear of it which made me think they are more about the money. Reception wouldn't even let me speak to the Dr after I left and had to call back. I also left a message that I was having a problem with the medicine and my ear and needed to talk to the Dr. They said they would call me back, but that was two days ago. I will say again, Dr. Abdou was a better dentist than I had been to and I am a senior citizen. Now I have to go to the trouble of getting my xrays and getting another dentist. It is a hastle to say the least. I guess if they are not so concerned about my health as they are the money, my experience would have been somewhat better. read more

Currently sitting on the floor of the waiting room at the Craig and Simmons location for an appointment that doesn't actually exist. I've been to 3 different absolute dental locations and feel like I've been kicked in the teeth all 3 times. My initial visit I paid $39 to get X-rays and a teeth cleaning because Medicaid dental only covers so much. The X-rays were done along with 3 different consultations of them telling me everything I needed to fix with my teeth. All fine and dandy. I get set up to talk to the receptionist about different financial routes to get services done. She tells me I can do monthly payments and return for my next appointment with $89 down. Sounded feasible so I booked the appointment. I come in and they tell me the payment is $289 for a deep cleaning plus $99 for their dental saver package?! What happened to the $89?! They all looked at me like I was crazy and tried to get me to sign up for dental credit. Denied. I asked what my options were with my financial situation and was pretty much told there were no options and when did I want to schedule my appointment. I honestly said "never, I can't afford it. " this was the flamingo location. Next I end up at the rainbow location for an oral surgery consultation. Seems patients in the lobby had been complaining about 3 he waits so I asked the receptionist to call me when it was my turn and waited in the car. She eventually calls and I come in. I sit and wait and after 20 minutes, I ask what is up. She said she called 3 times and because I had not answered (even though I had and told her I would be inside shortly) she had given my turn away. I finally see the oral surgeon for my consultation. Takes less than 5 minutes... My surgery date gets scheduled with the receptionist for Dec. 15. @11:30pm at the Craig/Simmons location. I show up for my appointment today and they tell me I have NO appointment! But apparently they can "squeeze" me in. Is oral surgery of no importance to a dental office? I also complain that I'm having serious pain on the opposite side of my mouth and that my back tooth has been cracking and bleeding. I ask if the surgeon could look at it since I'm getting an extraction done. They tell me no and that they can only do what the referral is for. Isn't the purpose of this business to take care of the general well being of patient's oral care? Yet the refuse to help you find ways to pay for treatment, they make you wait forever with an appointment, they fail to address pain and concerns and they fail to properly communicate with all the different offices they shuffle you around to while not properly scheduling surgery appointments. This business is absolutely ridiculous and needs to be shut down. I refuse to ever come back here again and I recommend you look elsewhere as well read more

I was seen and treated by Dr. K. Prior to my visiting this location, I was extremely anxious and uncertain as to where to start. I called, (was referred by a friend) and spoke to the Manager Antionette. She was friendly, knowledgeable and basically knew exactly how I felt and somehow identified my needs just in one phone call! I felt so comfortable, I made the appointment right away. I have always had such anxiety when it comes to the dentist. So much so, I would almost have full blown panic attacks just approaching the building! When I arrived, everyone made me feel so comfortable. I can't explain how important it is to someone like me to feel comfortable with this type of thing. I felt great when I left, prices are fair and affordable, they left me with NO un-answered questions and I feel confident, but mostly grateful for the STELLAR service that I received. My husband went here for cleaning a week before me and my son did for our appointment.My husband already told me that he waited for 45 minutes after his appointment time which is 1130am and he was there 15 minutes before.They checked him in at past 12pm and got done by 130pm.I did not give a damn and still tried to understand that the clinic might have been too busy when my husband was there.But to my disgrace...in my own experience...Iam not even going to give this clinic a 1 star..if there is 0.. I will choose that rating... I picked up my son early in school (2pm to be exact)so we can be 15 minutes early from our. 230 appointment...we were there by 210pm..as my sons school is just 5 mins away..we patiently waited for our turn.. my son's appointment was at 230 and mine was 430pm..I was thinking of going somewhere else in between.. but oh my.. they checked us in at 4pm .. my 6yr old son is almost throwing a tantrums for we are just sitting there waiting... and they actually have only 1 patient inside... the receptionist and others are just sitting there chatting to each other...I even asked them many times how long still should we wait and they keep on saying we are next...so finally got our turn...but every now and then they are doing something else which I dont understand...why dont they finish our cleaning then they can do their chit-chat!some stuff are even chewing or eating in between while they are treating us... This is the WORST customer service and Dental Clinic we have been and I dont recommend this.. if you dont like to waste your time (5hours) of your life...find other dental clinic around the street who value Time and Patients.... by the way, just to let you know.. our cleaning ends at 645pm to be exact... so from 210pm-4pm waiting period to 4-645pm cleaning!(which should only take for an hour)that was just a waste of time!!!!BEWARE!!!!! p.s. Not to mention how much they charge me and my insurance for cleaning which should be free of charge because it is preventive...sent me a billing letter after 2 months asking me to pay them $$$ .. they billed me for other services which they did not do to me which turned out that it is for a different patient... This just proved how careless they are not only with paper works but also with patients time.POOR SERVICE!!!! read more

I had my initial exam as I was having cold water sensitivity in my upper right. The front desk got me into the schedule right away and the dental assistants were fast and most courteous. Dr. Mary came in and could not have been more gentle and she got to the bottom of my problem and I walked out of there a new man. Today, my issue has been resolved and I no longer have sensitivity. Dr kitchen is a great dentist. The staff at this location was fun, professional and courteous. Dr Kitchen was exceptional at giving shots and she made sure I was comfortable during a crown replacement. We did not have an established dentist since we have moved to Vegas and after our great experience we are here to stay. Most importantly, they walked me through the work that needed to be done and gave a much cheaper quote I received from a different office. read more

Went to this location a month ago for an exam. I met with Dr Abodu, whatever her name is, and she told me what needed to be done. I knew exactly which teeth needed to be extracted, but because I am not a dentist, I don't know my teeth by number. Went back today for the extractions with the OS, and the dumb ass dentist put the wrong tooth number on the paperwork. So after this OS numbed the shit out of my face, he extracted one tooth instead of the 3, and then they told me I had to reschedule because the DENTIST messed up and they don't know which teeth to pull. The sad thing is, it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO obvious which teeth need to come out! I WILL NOT RETURN to this office. I refuse to be seen by that idiot of a dentist. While I was in the chair, I heard another patient complaining at the front desk that the SAME DENTIST made a mistake in what they were supposed to do and she too had to reschedule. AND of course the dumbass dentist was off today and God forbid, she be reached to come in and fix HER Mistake. I am so fed up with stupid! Avoid this Dr Abodu at all cause. Ok so I don't usually write reviews, but with my experience.. I just couldn't let it go. I have a dentist that I've been going to in Henderson but since we move somewhere in the southwest area I figured I should find a dentist closer to my home for convenience. That's when I found absolute dental in Rainbow. The first time I went in their office wasn't actually that bad.. I've only waited 45 minutes to be called in (I'm the only one there). I didn't mind the waiting so much since I didn't have much going on. I was scheduled to come back.. the day before my scheduled appointment i got a call from them to confirm my appointment.. while on the phone I asked "is there any fee I have to pay?" She said well the doctor usually do extraction the same day.. but since I was busy at work I just said ok.. I called a few minutes later and told her that the dentist that I saw never mentioned any extraction that needs to be done and so on.. then she said "WELL THE DR IS NOT HERE SO IM JUST GONNA CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT" with a very rude tone of voice. Long story short.. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! read more

I was in Chicago for my internship at a law office when I got my son's cavity fixed, and that was a month ago (7/2014). A week after we got back home in Las Vegas in Aug., his filling fell off when he brushed his teeth. So, we made an appointment with Absolute Dental (AD) at S. Rainbow/W. Charleston location. Prior to my internship in Chicago, we were with AD at Durango & W. Cheyenne but didn't go there anymore because of their unfriendly customer services. The Spanish front desk ladies were friendly here the Rainbow/W. Charleston location. However, the hygienist techs/assistants weren't friendly though. The atmosphere was very unpleasant. They currently had a $39 promotion going on which included exam, x-ray, cleaning and fluoride. X-ray was done nicely by a gentlemen who I didn't get his name. Prior to the teeth cleaning, another gentleman Rick asked me to initial the paper stating I understood English. Perhaps, Rick didn't know I am getting a Bachelor degree. Of course, I understand English. I had been communicating to everyone there in English, hadn't I? Anyhow, he "cleaned" my son's teeth and didn't do a proper job. He didn't clean or floss his teeth. What he did was he polished the teeth and put on the fluoride. At other dentist's offices, there are usually 2 technicians handle the cleaning. One person would clean, the other person would rinse and suck the water out. Rick was the only one handled the cleaning. He asked my son to hold the suction. I asked if they were short on staff, Ricky remarked they were busy. Crystal, who later assisted the dentist with the filling, heard me and commented that they wanted the kids to get familiar with them so the kids would want to come back again. Because Ricky couldn't multitask, my son teeth weren't rinse off right away after they were polished, my son was left a nasty taste in his mouth before Ricky rinsed it off. I told Rick that was the quickest cleaning I have ever seen and that he didn't floss my son's teeth. Ricky responded that it was how they did the cleaning there. Before he left, he had added, "the dentist will be here with you guys." He said "you guys." to us. I am Asian with a petite figure, but I am very sure I am older than Ricky. Ricky is Caucasian. I am a female by the way. We had to wait for about 7-10 mins till the dentist came. The dentist G, who did the tooth filling for my son was pleasant and seemed like he knew what he was doing, with Crystal's assistance. My son asked if he would be given a little toy for being good at the office. Crystal said she didn't have a toy for him but had a toothbrush for him instead. When we left, we didn't see Crystal anywhere and no toothbrush given to my son. The office looked nice. But, this office isn't kid friendly. No games or books or toys for kids. I would say this office should only handle adult dental care. I wouldn't recommend this place for children. Also, just be prepared to initial that you understand English if you don't look Caucasian. I went here for a second opinion, I was not getting the results I needed from my current office. My Doctor is great, but his office staff was not all that was written in their reviews. So I decided that I needed to try somewhere else where people are treated like people and not being nice to get your money. While talking with the office manager Antionette I began to feel like this might work so the following day I returned for my appointment. The staff was amazing very respectful and polite that had made me very comfortable. The doctor came in and introduced herself Dr. Kitchen was so vibrant and knowledgeable, she talked about a treatment plan and it was everything I had resourced on the internet I felt as if she was going to be the right dentist. After all the discussion I immediately agreed to have the work done at this office.
