We purchased our first home about a year ago and within a week of moving in, our downstairs shower was not draining. The first plumber came in with a $1700 quote to start and was going to rip up the brand new floors in our family room to jack hammer through the concrete slab and search for the "crack in the pipe". We told him to hold off. The next plumber came in with a $2500 to start quote to jack hammer through the concrete under our shower (also having to rip apart the shower) to get to the p-trap where he said the blockage was. We also told him to hold off. Then called AC Plumbing, due to all of the excellent reviews on Yelp, and he came in, got right through the p-trap, and just worked the snake for awhile. Instead of jumping to any conclusions that would cost us a fortune, he actually spent time trying to fix the problem. $40 later and our shower is draining perfectly without ripping up any floors!! We have since called on Armon 3 times and he has promptly (and stayed very affordable) come to our rescue. Armon is definitely the only plumber we will be calling when we have a problem. This is my first Yelp post ever. I just felt I had to post a review. My bathroom sink and toilet were backing up into my bath tub. Quotes at other places were quoting $90+ an hour. I found AC Plumbing Construction on Yelp and decided to give it a try even though I was weary of such a low $40 quote. He was scheduled to be at my home at 9:30am. He called 30 min prior to let me know he was on his way. Arrived on time and ready to go. Checked out the problem and diagnosed that it wasn't a toilet issue, it was just the tub drain that was clogged and it was only the bathroom sink that was backing up into my tub. He got on my roof, cleared it within 15 minutes and now the bath tub drains clear and fast! And he only charged me $40! I have never been so relieved in my life. I told him he could have lied and said it was a toilet issue and could have charged me for having to remove my toilet to get the drain cleared. He jokingly admitted he was too lazy to upcharge for unneccessary work. I like this guy! Past plumbers charged me $188 just to clear my kitchen sink the exact same way Armon did! After looking at various plumbers on Yelp I decided to give AC Plumbing Construction a call. I am happy to report that the all the positive reviews were spot on !! I was noticing an underground water leak in my yard due to a broken pipe leading from my pool equipment to the spa. Unfortunately this job required a lot of efforts to locate and expose the leaking pipe. The technicians that came to my house (both named Eric) did a great job, but unfortunately it was decided (after two days work on the project) that additional help was needed from a pool company. The leaking pipe was encased in concrete and had to be rerouted. Armon made all the arrangements to have the spa inspected by a pool company, and oversaw all of there work (even staying until approx 9 pm one night and working under flood lights). I must say that Armon exceeded all of my expectations. He was dedicated to solving the problem, always remained calm and professional, and took great efforts to ensure that the job was completed to my satisfaction. He was also more than fair and reasonable in working out and acceptable price for the project. Armon will be my first call for any plumbing issues that I may have in the future. read more
