Came here on a Friday evening and had a great time! Seating is first come and we were able to grab a couch outside! The outside area is a great spot when the sun is setting. The only thing that was unfortunate for the location is hearing I4 since the bar faces the highway. Service was very attentive and great! Nice area for hotel guests yes but for others not staying at the hotel it's not a huge experience. The rooftop is okay however not much sitting area. The menu is short and brief. The drinks not strong and watered down! We had guest near us smoking , when asked we were only told I"I told them to stop" but nothing else. There are no smoking signs etched on the glass but I guess that group of guys decided they all couldn't read. The food wasn't great but the potatoes are good . Again , a nice lounge area for guests with nice views of the city however I definitely wouldn't return. Regarding parking , there is valet and an option to park your car . Great for afternoon or evening cocktails. Brunch was just OK but the rooftop vibes are unbeatable. The hosts are hospitable and so is the service staff. I think sunset is the best time to go but also the hardest time to get a seat if you're looking, it can fill up quickly but doesn't feel crowded. I've also found that many people are just stopping through for a drink or two and moving on so if you have to wait it shouldn't bee too long. The quality of the cocktails, music, and views make the experience worth it. read more

We wanted to check out someplace new for brunch and I'm so glad we did. We scored a reservation the day before, which was awesome. Of note: you do have to hold you reservation with a credit card and can apparently be charged Up to $25 per person if you know show or cancel too late. Pretty atypical for this area but we knew we wanted to go, so no big deal for me. We arrived pretty early for our reservation but they seated us anyway because it was extremely empty. Maybe it was because it was the day after Christmas? More people started showing up later but it was still less crowded than I expected. We tried a few different drinks and items from the Sunday brunch menu. I tried The Cloud drink, which was a fun experience. The drink is on the sweeter side but I enjoyed it. We also got the Otown Mule and it was SO good -- very ginger forward, which I love. The star of the meal was the brunch flatbread though. It was ridiculously delicious and I can't wait to have it again. Parking is available in the attached garage. Not sure if they validate or not... when we tried to get our parking validated, they said you scan your receipt at the kiosk on the way out of the garage. Can I say I was pleasantly surprised. When I heard about this location I had heard mixed reviews about it so I decided to try it myself. I had a delicious rum drink and it felt strong. The food was quite good, especially the burger and the croquettes. I would come back for both. We also shared a flatbread which wasn't bad but it was a bit underwhelming. Our waiter did a good job at taken care of us, he provided excellent service and kept on checking on us to ensure we were enjoying our time. The sound level was perfect, there was some background music but it wasn't loud enough to mess with the flow of conversation. My tip is to get there on the earlier side and find a table at the balcony. It feels nice, has a good view and it isn't as loud. read more

If you want a big city rooftop bar experience in Orlando, the AC Sky Bar is it. We don't have many rooftop bars here in Orlando nor are they as high up, as clean or as modern as this one. Thanks to the Marriott, we get to feel what it's like to enjoy a drink while looking down on the busy city streets and taking in some fresh air. For those who are COVID conscious and would rather have their cocktails on a breezy patio, definitely check this place out. In case you're reading my review first and haven't seen what others have said, the AC Sky bar is accessible through the lobby of the AC Marriott which actually starts on the 18th floor rather than the ground floor. Oh, and if you're curious about parking, I highly suggest just using the hotel's garage unless you want to go through the trouble of finding metered street parking which is pretty hit or miss. I'm 1/3 of trying to get street parking to go here LOL When I visited a few months ago, the weather was still cool out so we were already in warmer clothes. If you arrive in the evening and you get cold easily, you may want to bring a jacket since you definitely feel the breeze up there. Again, since I visited in the early weeks of them being open, things were not as busy or as jam-packed as they are now. I have seen people say that you should make a reservation before coming but I have also read articles saying that they are moving to walk-ins only. Just to be safe, I suggest calling ahead to figure out the situation. I've gotten to sample a couple of cocktails there but the one I kept going back to was their Signature G&T. It's crisp, refreshing and the perfect level of sweetness. I haven't gotten to try their food yet but would like to come back during the late afternoon to try out their menu and catch the sunset. The only area that I saw that could use some improvement was the bar service which was a little slow. If you are looking for a relaxing rooftop experience in Orlando this is the spot! I've been to the Sky Bar a few times and I always have a wonderful experience. Food 4/5 - my favorite thing on the menu is the meatballs! They are so tender and delicious. I also had the cauliflower which was just ok. Ambiance 5/5- I love the ambiance here! What a great place! I was surprised! This was that better than I expected. I went for Brunch. This was only the second time they had served Brunch and it seems they have t well in hand. The day was rather overcast, rainy,chilly and windy by Florida standards but still got some good food and great service! I guess we looked cold as staff brought us a blanket to cover up with while we waited for service. That's an advantage of being in a hotel setting that I never even considered. The food was tasty and you can be as fancy or as basic as you would like. Sure you can get the 2 eggs any style with bacon but we opted for the Steak and Eggs and Creme Brûlée French toast (which was a croissant bread) Very tasty and I thought reasonably priced considering it was downtown and such a fantastic venue! I saw some of the drinks being put together and they looked pretty fancy. Drinks placed in a box that looked like a lantern and then smoked (or frozen) blasted in surrounding the drink. There is a 2 hour limit listed for brunch seating but it was chilly so sadly we did not stay longer to soak up the ambiance! Gorgeous new bar in downtown Orlando! Definitely Miami vibes here, we made a reservation on Open Table during happy hour (5-7pm Monday to Thursday) and got a great view. We tried a couple cocktails, the Sunset Margarita, their Signature Gin and Tonic, and the Cloud which is not on the menu. Great presentation especially the G&T! Service was slow, our waitress was pretty clearly overwhelmed and eventually other people started running the food/drinks out which helped. Their food seemed super reasonably priced we had the Dips and Zatar, Crispy Potatoes, Meatballs, a AC Burger, and finished with Flan and Churros! All the food was good I would say it's probably not all house-made but we really loved the meatballs, the dip plate, and our desserts. This is a great spot tucked away on the 18th floor of the new SunTrust building. The elevator opens to the AC Marriott hotel lobby where the lounge is located. There isn't anywhere else in Orlando with this vibe. Tall ceilings and modern decor make this a trendy spot. We sat out on the patio to see the sunset. Make sure you get there early to get a good seat as sunset hours get busy. There's a nice large bar surrounded by tables and patio style furniture. Lots of gas fireplaces and live music. The menu is Tapas style so prepare to order a few small plates. We got a burger, fries and meatballs (my favorite). Finished everything off with the churros dessert. After a quick search for places to eat/drink before the Orlando Magic game I landed on this place. Started off with the calamari which was pretty much perfect, it was nice and crispy and full of flavor with some yummy sauce. I also had the Mango Smash to drink that was surprisingly refreshing and also tasty, they did a great job with that. Lastly I had the AC burger that was probably the best burger I had in a while! Ambiance was everything here. We dined for Sunday brunch since it was our 2nd year wedding anniversary and it set our Anniversary plans off in an exciting way. On the 18th floor of the AC by Marriott you're greeted with this beautiful open bar and lobby. The hostess greeted us and led us outside where we could see Orlando, hovering over the Amway Center and the interstate was very upscale and cool. The Dj was great and our server Diane was amazing and efficient. Our food was amazing for brunch. The chicken and waffles were the best I had in Florida and my wife's French toast was delicious. We had mimosas and choices with different flavors with a bottomless option. For this reason the 6 and a half foot glass was put in I'm joking but let's just say they make it very easy to have a good time here. You won't regret it. As one of Orlando's newest Rooftop bars, AC Skybar doesn't disappoint! Located on the 18th floor of the AC Hotel Downtown Orlando, this views are incredible. There's no reservation required and seating is first come, first served. This is the 2nd highest rooftop restaurant view in downtown Orlando with a beautiful dining room and a spacious outdoor patio complete with outdoor fans and heaters depending on the weather. Skybar has a complete menu with Cocktails, Appetizers, Small plates and Large plate entrees. On this visit, I had a small plate with one of my favorite things on the menu, The Meatballs! The secret to these tasty treats is they are made with Baba Ganoush and topped with Parmesan cheese A MUST TRY! Overall, this gets 5 stars because the experience you get here at the AC Hotel rivals (dare I say EXCEEDS) the experience you would get at any of the 4/5 star hotels in downtown Orlando, and for a cheaper price. This is a good place to go at night if you like to look at the city lights with the ambiance of I-4 traffic while drinking a subpar cocktail. However, if you are looking for good food and good drinks, this is NOT the place. Food was cafeteria-level quality, the cocktails were ok, but definitely not worth the price and service was abysmal. We spent a stretch of 30 minutes with our waiter M.I.A., I had to go ask the hostess to find him. I'm from LA so if you tell me chicken and waffles I expect anything but chicken tenders. Do not be afraid of the white sauce. It's not bad. Server Julian outside bar 10 out of 10. This place f*cking suuuuuucks, great example of a beautiful location ruined by incompetent workers. Went with my wife for our anniversary looking for nice evening dinner. Unless you're at the bar, NOBODY will care to help you get service. There was only ONE server helping out on the tables, so I don't blame him, but lots of hostess just standing around uninterested in proving a memorable experience. My husband went to AC sky bar for a relaxing afternoon drink...sounds easy enough right? Well we were told it was open seating and to sit anywhere and a server would come to us. They were not busy and we were 1 of 3 groups outside. We sat for 10 minutes before seeing a neighboring table with a server, who then completely ignored us when we politely tried to get their attention. 3 other servers completely walked right past us even when we tried to get their attention to see if our server could come to us. After 30 minutes of sitting begging for someone to come over to us, we got up and told the hostess we couldn't get anyone's attention to serve us at all. RIDICULOUS!!! However for a bar with an elevated feel I had higher expectations on food and drinks. Food tasted like it came from the frozen section at Trader Joe's. I recently visited the AC Sky Bar during a work trip for an evening happy hour. The service at this bar was fantastic! We had a large group, and the three bartenders working were definitely slammed, but they were all friendly, quick, and efficient. Even though they were super busy they all took the time out to quickly chat, offer suggestions and menu access, and they did it all with big smiles. I had a Spritz cocktail and it was refreshing and delicious. Plus, the bar offers a nice rooftop view.
