Went in for Bladder problem waited 2 hours to seen. On our way back to exam room we asked if they are able to place a foley catheter. Medical assistant said. No,they didn't do that there we would have to go to ER. WE said ok and asked for our $50 copay back. The Physician agreed to giving our copay back so we went to the front desk and went to get our money back. We were then told that we would have to wait for the manager to call back to Accelerated Urgent Care to approve refund and that could take 2 additional hours. WE told the front desk that we expected the refund, we would not be waiting for 2 hours there because we had to go to the Hospital for care and expected the refund back on our card. Checked with the back and they processed the $50.00 charge ad have not refunded at this time.. Also before you can be seen they expect you to sign a paper stating that if they commit malpractice that you give up your rights to a jury/court ruling. read more

I was seen about 5 weeks postpartum due to chest pain, stomach pain and nausea. As expected there was a long wait which I had no problem with. They had me leave a urine sample and right after the doctor came in to tell me it came back positive and I was pregnant. I'm shocked and respond Yes my hormones are still out of whack there is no way I'm pregnant I just had a baby. Doctors response is while are you having intercourse. After I clarify there is no way I'm pregnant he proceeds to tell me I may have a stomach flu. I tell him I don't have fever or vomiting and share I had similar feelings with last pregnancy and it may be panic attack. At that point he tells me there is nothing I can do for you since you are still under the care of your OB I suggest you schedule an appointment. After the disappointing visit I receive a $438 dollar bill turns out my insurance is considered out of network yet no one ever explained this before. I would suggest to find a different urgent care and do not recommend. read more

Terrible experience. I asked about a copay at the time of my visit and was told, "nothing owed". Three weeks after my visit on a random weekday afternoon, I noticed a nearly $100 charge from the facility for a visit dated 1/23/23. Since I did not visit the facility on this date, I called about the charge. I was on hold for over 20 minutes with their billing department only to be transferred again! I was informed that every patient signs a form authorizing charges to their cards. Be aware that the facility will not send you a bill in any way, shape, or form and will casually charge your card on file for any amount they choose on any day of the month after your visit. If you like unexpected credit card charges without your consent or knowledge, this could be a great facility for you to go get medical care. When I spoke to someone, they said my only option is to write a dispute letter. read more

I don't know how the sequence goes for seeing a patient. I waited since 9pm and I was seen at 12midnight. There were at least 8 people seen and left who came after me. I should have not let my husband and kids drove and waited for me in the parking. read more

Didn't want to go to the ER and decided to give this place a shot. My son was breaking in hives. We registered and waiting maybe less than 20 minutes. We Got in and evaluated by doctor. Doctor explain what need to be done and prescribed meds and was on our way. read more

There seem to be a lot of negative reviews on here, but the staff were very friendly to my daughter and I. The wait was minimal, especially for the weekend, and the doctor was thorough and helpful. AND actually sent the prescriptions over to the pharmacy right away, which a lot of other urgent care fasciitis fail to do. Thus far, I would highly recommend them. read more

I was seen at the Clovis (Shaw) location today and the guy working at the computer (George) was providing me with a lot of attitude. I believe it was racial discrimination because I am Muslim and I cover up. He was friendly and lovey with all the Hispanics & came and was providing me with a lot of attitude and sass. This was the worst experiencing urgent care visit I had. I took my 2 yr old daughter there for what I thought was a dislocated elbow... had to wait 5 hours to get seen. When I was called to the back room proceeded to wait another hour before anyone came into the room. Went to get X-rays and the staff in the back was doing nothing but messing around and talking the whole time. They were 0 help! We got X-rays done for them to tell me her humerus was lodged into her shoulder blade and to go to valley children's because there is nothing they could do to help her. She was screaming in pain. Asked for a CD of the X-ray to show valley children's and they told me it was way past the techs time there and to come back the next day to get it.... turns out my daughters elbow was dislocated. Learn to do you job, know how to work with children and have come common courtesy. Will never go here again if it was the last place on earth! read more

I took my daughter to the urgent care on a Sunday. It was the only urgent care open Sunday afternoon. I was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews, but it was this urgent care or the ER. The wait was long, 12th in line, 3 1/2 hour visit, but again it was the ONLY place open in Clovis on a Sunday. The staff was professional, the facility was clean. I saw the receptionist clean the counters and pens. The nurse practitioner took care of my daughter and offered her options for follow care. Very please! read more

It's been at least a handful of times that this place has saved our family. Late hours on Sunday when our kids needed antibiotics and a diagnosis- boom, handled. The front desk has always been kind and caring. I've gone in myself, with having "gotten in line" from the comfort of my own home, and they give you the ability to upload your documents ahead of time, even. Might I add that one night, my daughter and I even sat in my car and the called me when it was our turn in line. All the providers that have seen us have taken such good care to listen and aide, and for an Urgent Care, I couldn't ask for more. They even recommended which 24hr pharmacy to help us, late at night. 10/10 read more

Came here for slicing my hand with a box cutter and wait time was ridiculous. It's not like I was bleeding out or anything but i didn't get called back till after an hour and a half. Provider that stitched my hand up was super friendly! He needs more help there you can't expect him to tend to all these patients needs by himself. I showed up at 11 for an eye wash emergency. I got metal or dirt in my eye while in the garage cleaning. Well they turned me away at 11 pm saying they had to many people already. They close at 12. So a person who can barely see gets rejected and told to drive to the ER miles from our location. Great advice y'all! read more

The doctor made the choice to not give a steroid shot when it was needed because he thought it cost to much, never once asked us our opinion, then was taken back when we said we wanted the shot as long as it was less than $1000. Just awful. Had my copay charged twice to start. We came on a Sat because son was inconsolable. The Dr. said he had fluid in 1 ear and prescribed antibiotics. He also had a cough x1 week. She said his lungs sound good and clear. We just got home from our son's pediatrician (Monday) and found he was majorly misdiagnosed. He is now feeling better thanks to our pediatrician. They also sent our prescription to the wrong pharmacy. The one they sent it to was closed. Just plain awful. If you don't want people to unnecessarily take their kids to the er, please do better. I have never had an experience like I had with accelerated urgent care I asked them if they took my insurance they took my card checked it and said yes They sent my insurance to the wrong facility and they blamed me for it because they didn't do their job they went into my checking account and took $500 out of my account I made a mistake by signing a form saying they can take the money if my insurance doesn't pay. Be very careful at what you sign. Now the money from the insurance company is on the way to them and they still have my $500 The staff in the doctor's office was great the business office sucks. This is definitely not accelerated urgent care. I had an appointment at 11am an hour went by until they called me in l...after I continued to ask what was going on. What in the point on making an appointment? On top of that I finally get a room an hour later just to wait another hour plus to see a doctor. I asked one of the ladies how much longer until a doctor and she kept saying people have been waiting longer than me.. just rude like damn.. what's the point of making an appointment then? Idk what is up this urgent care but I brought my son in for a fever and sore throat / ulcers on throat they said he was negative for strep and listed like 4 other things that could be wrong I'm sorry but don't cause stress on a parent but said to take him to his primary and well he tested positive for strep I myself developed a fever for one day and sore throat next day my throat looked pretty swollen and some white on it they told me I was negative for strep and once again started listing a bunch of things gave me anxiety told me I could have a major health issue even though you know my kid just had a fever and throat and now I got same symptoms well I got strep are y'all just faking the tests or what I've noticed the doctors won't even get near you in the rooms and they barely even look at your symptoms maybe get better tests idk kinda disappointing in the care my doctor has been booked so I've had to come here and idk not been good. read more

I went in last night at 10 PM even after reading all the negative previous reviews and was seen within 40 mins. Staff was pleasant, MA didn't take my weight or height she just asked me. Doctor was pleasant and easy to speak to. I was treated and was in and out in 1 hour. I would recommend this place. Keep in mind it's late at night and you should try to be kind especially if you're needing their help. read more

Needs a lot of training at this location. ~$500 dollar visit for a 5 minute check up with a doctor that does not bother to verbally follow up with patient on symptoms or show any concern towards patient illness only deserves one star. Not the interaction I expected and diagnosis is questionable from a medical standpoint. Front desk staff does not know how much a visit cost and did not bother to explain how much a visit may cost prior to being seen, or even after being seen. Does not have a cash price approximation for patients to gauge their out of pocket charges, only directing you to wait on the bill from your insurance. Essentially get checked up blindly and hope your bill is manageable. read more

Horrible my son had a gash on his chin that needed to be glued up so it won't be exposed waited 2 hrs to get attended waiting another hour inside the room only to wait another 30 mins simply because the staff was too focused on gossiping their personal lives and problems extremely loud. I have been to this facility on several occasions as an asthma patient with pneumonia, they immediately registered me and had me in a treatment room in minutes. they listened, evaluated, took x-rays and began treatment in under 30 minutes. I was given a long stron breathing treating treatment, prescribed a couple of strong medications to kick the pnumonia fast so I could avoid a trip to the hospital in a day or 2. they made sure I had a driver to take me home, and that I was feeling well enough to leave. they even called the next day to check on me to see how I was feeling. this was the best experience I have ever had and why I continue to be a patient here when I need urgent care. read more

Came in around 7pm on a Monday night. There was 6-7 families waiting in the waiting room before us, but soon realized many more patients were waiting inside their cars to be seen. Waited almost 2 hours before we were seen. I am Not complaining about this wait time because we didn't make an appointment and it's way better than any ER wait time! Learn to Be patient people. I didn't expect amazing customer service and that's what we got. But they got the job done and we got what we needed and maybe I had to advise the Medical assistant to change her methods on a procedure but we got it done correctly in the end and that's all that matters. I have to add that the MA was pretty aggressive and caused a lot of pain to the patient. I know she could have been more gentle, especially when you notice a patient is JERKING with pain. The male Asian Dr that saw us was quick and did a good job with placing stitches on the patient. I also appreciate this place opening till midnight and they have an X-ray machine thank you Jesus! Will be back for anything urgent after 6pm and not an Emergency!! read more

Stay away from this place, my oldest son had back pain and all they did was have him stretch..... they said it was a pulled muscle. Went to the E.R later that night and he had a fractured l2 vertebrae, the PA doesn't know what she is doing obviously that's why she is working here! This place is a joke! read more

Honestly I wasn't too big on urgent cares but these people had me in and out of there with my problem fixed, very professional and helpful! I loved how friendly they were and it definitely helps out when you're in there nervous about your situation like I was.
