Honestly I wasn't too big on urgent cares but these people had me in and out of there with my problem fixed, very professional and helpful! I loved how friendly they were and it definitely helps out when you're in there nervous about your situation like I was. I came in on a Sunday since my usually go to isn't open on the weekends and I was in and out within and hour and 15 minutes. I thought that was pretty good considering they were busy, it was the weekend, and I didn't have an appointment. I've gone to other urgent cares and waited over 3 hours before. Staff was friendly and I got my prescription sent to the pharmacy right away. Picked it up in 30 minutes. I would go here again if I needed it. I saw some reviews about being charged wrong after the fact. I will keep an eye out for any bill and if I have any issues I will update my review. read more

Just got home from visiting this facility and am not very happy with the care I received. I have been experiencing knee pain for the last two weeks that had gotten worse in the last couple days. I have previously broken this knee and have a history of bone cancer. I do not have a primary care doctor at the moment and decided to go to this location in hopes they could refer me if they found anything concerning. They did not do an X-ray or run any test despite my telling them about my medical history and instead gave me a toradol shot and an ace bandage along with my exam that lasted maybe 5 minutes. When I inquired about X-ray the Dr. told me that since I hadn't fallen or had a recent injury there was no point in doing an X-ray and that I should check with my primary doctor (that I don't have). You would think given my history of cancer that in itself would warrant more testing when experiencing pain without an injury. Very disappointed. Also to add to my frustration I live in the mountains about an hour away and this was one of the closest options so I just wasted about 3 hours of my time not to mention the fuel. The one star is for the nurse that helped me with the shot and bandage. She was very kind and did her job. But man what a waste of time and money for absolutely nothing. I was disappointed in the care that I received at this site. I had been experiencing sinus pressure and vertigo for three days. Prior to this visit, I had contacted a Teladoc about my symptoms who prescribed a steroid nasal spray. On the third day, I went to my early morning workout and had to leave because when I lay down to do floor exercises, the vertigo hit me badly and I couldn't finish my workout. I never leave a workout so it had to be bad if I left. I drove by this site and it was open so I thought that I would see if could get some help with the vertigo. The wait wasn't long at all, the front office staff were nice and professional and the medical assistant who first took me in was a pleasure to interact with. My beef is with the lady who came in to "help" me. She came into the room and asked how she could help me. She didn't provide her name or position nor did she make me feel welcome. I had to ask her her name after I introduced myself and she told me but I never did find out if she was a PA or a nurse. I told her what was going on. I told her that when I lay down, the vertigo was bad. She asked me if I had seen my primary and I said no because I had contacted the Teledoc on Thursday and this was Saturday. I filled her in on my symptoms and what he had prescribed. I asked her why I had vertigo when I lay down and I didn't get a response. I asked if the change in the weather could make my sinuses feel full and I didn't get a response. As I interacted with this person, I just felt as if she didn't believe me and I felt that I wasn't being taken seriously. She kept pushing that I see my primary because there was nothing that she could do at that site. I told her that it could take a month to get an appointment with him. Why else do people go to urgent care centers? Because it is so damn difficult to get an appointment with your primary. Duh. She told me that she had seen me walk in and that I didn't have problems walking. She asked me if I was driving and I said yes. Her attitude to me was dismissive. I don't have vertigo when I am standing. I have it when I lay down. She didn't listen to me. She checked out my sinuses and told me she couldn't prescribe antibiotics because my sinuses weren't bad. That's fine but I didn't get any answers as to what was going on and she made it clear that she couldn't give me answers because that clinic was not equipped for it. She even told me that "something might be wrong with my brain" and prescribed a medication for vertigo and when I went to CVS to pick it up, I was told that it was OTC! She couldn't tell me that so I could just pick it up myself which I didn't because guess what, a layman told me what was wrong with me and if she had bothered to try this, it would have taken care of the vertigo. I ended up calling a friend who had had vertigo issues in the past. He told me about a procedure called the Epley Maneuver. The Epley Maneuver takes less that five minutes to do. My problem was that the little crystals in the inner ear on my right side were not in their proper location. They were floating around in my inner ear so that when I lay down, it caused severe vertigo. One time with the Epley Manuever took care of my vertigo. You would think that a medical facility would know about something as simple as this. And to think that this professional either didn't know about this or couldn't be bothered. So thanks to my friend, I'm feeling a lot better and I don't have the vertigo when I lay down. Needless to say, I won't ever be going back to this clinic. I don't appreciate being treated dismissively. And I suggest that the staff at that clinic brush up on vertigo, BPPV and the Epley Maneuver so that the next time someone with vertigo comes in, they don't get the brush off and they know what to do. read more

Took my mother in on Friday evening. Waited over an hour for them to tell my mother they couldn't see her due to her insurance being a hmo. They informed my mother that if she got an authorization from her insurance they could see her and call her insurance. We did insurance informed us to have them call utilization review to get PA. I even I got the utilization review number for them. So when I went up to the front desk to inform them that her insurance needed them to call UR because they needed to provide them with CPTcodes the girl acted like she didn't know what she told my mother which I overheard. That she didn't know how to call UR for prior authorization and she didn't know what a CPT code was? I even tried to explain to her what the insurance informed me and it just went over her head. I never heard of a front office assistant not knowing how to do this because I worked over 20 years in the medical field. It just floored me how lazy and incompetent there front office is. read more

Dr. Thomas at Accelerated Urgent Care told me mucus color doesn't matter when we all know that's a lie. He kept bringing up his daughter and how she has allergies and she takes allergy medicine 6 months out the year. Seems like he likes to compare children to his daughter when every child is different. I told him my daughter takes medicine EVERY DAY still no relief. Dr. Thomas Told me that a cold that continues to get worse is allergies. Brought in three children and he Only can give allergy medicine at their age. Only checked one kids lungs and chest. Had to force him to check all their ears. Horrible experience . 2.5 hours to see a dr for 2 minutes. After complaining after they were swabbed for Flu and RSV and stating my kids have been sick for over two weeks with no sign of symptoms lessening he then decides to say he'll prescribe antibiotics! I told him that it is a little worrisome for him to say the color of mucus doesn't matter he then says well it does and it doesn't? Huh? How is that science ? Please be a health advocate for yourself and others they will continue to ignore you if you don't. read more

Horrible service. Long 2 hour wait only to be seen for less than a minute by a woman doctor that would not even listen to me about my injury. She looked at it from a far distance and just wrote a prescription. Wouldn't clean my open wound or wrap it up or anything! Plus It's been 4 days and my prescription has still not been sent after calling several times to have it sent. They claim to be so busy and it would take hours.. it's been days! Accelerated is not the word I would use for this facility. Nice staff but slow as molasses. My husband is a heart patient and was experiencing some spikes in his blood pressure. The receptionist knew why we were there but of course we had to fill out three pages of forms first. We were then taken to a triage room where instead of chking his blood pressure first, the girl proceeded to enter into the computer all of my husband's info on the meds he was on.He gave her the list all she had to do was make a copy and enter it after he was attended to. I had to mention that it might be well if she took it and at that point she had finished entering his meds so she took his b.p. We were then led into another room where another girl came in to take his b.p. again. She had a difficult time figuring out how to use the BP monitor but finally accomplished the task. I am thankful he wasn't having a heart attack as these girls would have been useless in an emergency. Never again would we come to AUC!! P.S. Best urgent care I've gone to in a long time. Very fast and helpful service. I broke my foot and the girls up front and in the back were very accommodating and nice. The doctor was very informative as well. Registration, X-rays and treatment took about an hour all together which was great. I highly recommend this facility. read more

I went in today and was kindly helped out but the sweetest receptionist who was patient with me and helped me go through the paperwork process, waited not to long what so ever and then was shown back to a room to do vitals and such and it was quick and easy, the lady who helped me out was extremely kind and efficient. When it came time the doctor came in he was extremely helpful, and detailed explaining to me what was going on and what I can do to help it. I have been to this location twice with my 2 youngest children. First impression is a clean waiting room. The front office staff were helpful and nice. Both visits have been sweet and to the point. I also work in a healthcare facility so to approve for my children is a big compliment. Keep up the good work and thank you for stitching up my daughters foot and being so kind to her. The first time I came here, it was amazing. The doctor I got was super sweet and understanding. The front staff is always super sweet and compassionate as well. I went again last night because I'm having pain in my abdomen, and the doctor I received wasn't very nice. She kept speaking over me and when I told her my symptoms she interrupted me and said, "yeah, we'll get to that". I brought up multiple things of what it could maybe be, because I want answers obviously, and she interrupted me again and told me "stop looking things up on google, it's not going to help you". I've never had pain like this, so of course I'm going to look things up online??? This doctor was a 50-60 year old woman, with glasses, and grey curly hair. Rudest doctor I've had, honestly. Especially since I'm having lady issues, I was hoping a lady doctor would be understanding, or able to provide more information. It felt like I had to pry information out of her, and my questions regarding my health seemed to be irritating. I understand it was late at night, and she could be tired or stressed, but I genuinely felt no compassion from her. If you do go here, I don't recommend going at night. read more

I went into this urgent care on a Saturday, I was in a lot of pain and needed to be seen as soon as possible. The front office and medical assistant were AMAZING! They were fast, kind, receptive and very sweet. I was put into a room and the MINUTE I spoke with their PA I knew she was going to be a "peach". The minute she opened her mouth I honestly cringed in how unprofessional, rude and disrespectful she was. She greeted me with, "Hi I'm the PA here, how can I help you?" SERIOUSLY?! I was blown away. I felt like i was at a store or restaurant. She did NOT listen to any of my concerns and instead rolled her eyes and rushed me out of there as fast as she could. ALSO laughed and rolled her eyes when I asked if I can please be on antibiotics and then told me to "get dressed" and then slammed the door in my face. I practically had to BEG her to put me on antibiotics because I knew what I had and needed them ASAP. She spoke to me like I was an idiot and it scared me a lot because I can't even imagine how she treats her other patients. I have two children and I have been to many doctors, dentists, hospitals, you name it. SHE was by far the worst doctor/PA/ any one in the medical field I have EVER experienced. I felt like I was doing HER job for her. I have truthfully never felt so disrespected by a doctor in my life. I never write reviews but I just have to say something and I hope she is let go from this practice, OR trained in how to be RESPECTFUL TOWARD HER PATIENTS. I am sure I'm not the first patient to experience this kind of treatment, but I can only hope that I was the last. read more

I went in for a puncture wound to the top of my foot just at the base of my big toe. I registered myself, scanned my own documents in, and then I had to ASK if I was supposed to come back, as I was texted an appointment time of almost two hours out. The receptionist told me that it could TAKE that long but to stay there. Then after about twenty minutes she called me up to sign consent for shots, if needed, and to confirm my information. She stated that they had to put an authorization on my debit card, because they don't know how much I would be responsible for since I have insurance through FUSD- but she knew what insurance I had. I went to urgent care because of how much it hurt to walk. Meanwhile, they had me walk to the back of the building without assistance, or even an offer for help. The doctor came in, asked me to take my current bandages off, then after determining she wanted an X-ray, handed me the alcohol wipes and new bandages and directed me to dress the wound. After x-rays, I was told I would a get tetanus shot, which I did, BUT NO ONE ever told me what yo do for wound care, what to watch for in case of infection, or if I should follow up with my primary care doctor...I asked what to do for a shoe as the wound is on the top of my foot and I can't just wear anything, and still couldn't walk without pain. I was told to get a soft shoe, like a sock, and wear that...even to work. Anyone know of where to get a shoe like that. So, I hobbled outside with it raining with my sock on, just like I came in. Dr then asked me to take my knee brace off and said she would come back in after I put my pants back in, knock on the door in comes a person with a clip board and workers comp claim forms because of my injury. Walked out, this place is a workers comp factory for phony or real claims they don't seem to care which and to top it off the sent me a bill for not treating me. Absolute worst experience ever, I was in and out of the urgent care no complaints there, but they offer "pharmacies" that are closed for business or that aren't even there and then manage to blame the patient for trusting the information given by them. I've had to change my pharmacy 3 different times because I assumed it was the pharmacist who had lost the prescription, but that wasn't the case. I called the call center multiple times and I was just transferred around, my last straw was the lady at the front desk that told me to wait because since it had been too many days that they couldn't transfer the medication and my best case was to wait till they opened, but they were closed due to a power outage, they couldn't even view the prescription and I wasn't going to wait another day to get my prescription. I don't usually write reviews but this is just such a horrific experience. It shouldn't take more than one day to receive medication. read more

The whole experience with receiving medication has been awful. I had got covid and was prescribed cough medicine as well as an inhaler and low and behold never got my inhaler. i've had to call around 4 times and spoke to well over 7 people just to be told that i was never prescribed it and that i need to get reevaluated. other people i've spoke to said they could get the prescription sent and it was never sent. i called about 3 days in a row and everyday someone said it should be there or that the doctor i had seen isnt in to send in my inhaler. The final person i spoke to had told me all the same things everyone else had then continued to say the doctor thats been out the past couple days is still out and wont be able to get my prescription, that if its truly a medical emergency i should go to emergency room. The customer service here is awful and it seems theyre all of no help considering every single person (except the people i had seen the day of my visit) i spoke to hadnt helped me in the slightest. Never coming back to this place and it's sad that me as well as other people are having to go through this considering situations at hand. read more
