Unfortunately, she was told to buy a new garage door opener and was UPSOLD on the most expensive unit. After $2500, she never received two remote controls nor an owners manual. I'm not even sure at this point if she got a new unit at all, given how much was missing from her purchase. The tech also placed the wall unit over 6' 5" feet high, which doesn't help most people. It took multiple visits from other techs before anyone even asked where she would like the unit placed. When the wall unit was finally placed where she wanted it, the sticker with the QR code was removed without permission. We called on Monday and Friday to request a paper copy invoice of their last visit along with the proper stickers. A very rude gal named Ashley from the call center refused and told her to look it up on her computer copy. Newsflash BESSER, not all elderly are great with computers. An apology, paper copy of the latest invoice, correct stickers and a printed copy of the owners manual isn't an unreasonable request after cashing our $2500 check!

I asked him to check the motor first to see if it was repairable. He said he would do his best to fix it but since it was over 20 years old, it might need to be replaced. He also told me that if he couldn't fix it, he wouldn't charge me. He showed me the broken part inside the motor and explained that, due to the motor's condition, the garage door couldn't open all the way. However, he was able to repair it enough to get it moving again but just won't open all the way. So I decided to have him install a brand new motor. He replaced everything, including the track, rail, and motor unit, and completed the job quickly. The price was very reasonable and he was communicative throughout the entire process! He's definitely the person to call if you have any garage door issues. Highly recommended!
