This company was assigned by my home warranty company. They didn't show up for my first appointment. They were late for the rescheduled appointment and I feel like they only showed up because I contacted my home warranty company to get a hold of them as they don't answer the phone. Once the tech was here all he did was test my outlet (not the actual machine). He reported that he needed the control board however the home warranty company would not authorize that because he never diagnosed the actual machine. Their response was to tell the home warranty company they couldn't diagnose the machine because I tried to self repair. I had removed the lid as the washer stopped working mid load and was full of clothes and water...it was going to be 4 days before the first appointment time so I was not going to leave my clothes in the washer to rot. Said the next appt would be a week from today. Insane, this only came about after repeated calls to the company to find out what time the tech would arrive. Each time they said he was on the way. The last call they said he showed up and no one was home. I literally have cameras around my home impossible for me to miss the tech. They scheduled the 3rd visit and never showed up, I had to call them just to find out they were waiting for another part! I rate our experience with Accord at 0 stars. Absolutely terrible service. Our refrigerator is broken. Called our home warranty. Accord calls us to set up an appointment 1.5 weeks out....for a broken fridge. Wait for that appointment. In the middle of our service somebody called from Accord to reschedule our appointment for another day another 1.5 weeks later which would make the total time in between the day it broke and the appointment 3 weeks. Called and got an appointment for 2 weeks after the fridge broke. Near the end of our service window nobody had called or shown up. Called Accord and was told it was flagged that we missed our appointment. Missed our appointment? Nobody called or showed up. We have a doorbell camera and nobody showed up. They even reported to put warranty company that we missed the appointment. This company is a fraud! Very unhappy. Who has a 1.4 star rating....Accord! Should be lower than that. BEWARE!!! Accord Appliance is simply a group of scam artists collecting fees from home warranty companies. They have no intention of fixing your appliances, or helping you become whole. We had two technicians come out, giving us home remedies for fixing our dishwasher ourselves. They ran the dishwasher with no soap in it, seeing that flooding resulted. Accord Appliance then proceeded to lie to our home warranty company, stating that our claim should be denied because we were using too much soap and that was causing the malfunction. We tried reaching the company to get to the bottom of why they would fabricate the claim denial, and were disconnected four times, and hung up on three times. They have caused us insurmountable headaches and grief, and should be avoided at all costs! Shame on this company! Look them up on the BBB website! Atrocious. Accord appliance was used by my warranty company and denied the repairs. When I asked for a second opinion all the requests for repairs were approved. The Technician from Accord stated my oven was missing an element that caused it to not work yet I used the oven the same day. He did not know what he was looking at. Plus they had to reschedule twice as the technicians they scheduled did not have the experience to do the job. I had to wait over three weeks for someone to show up then Accord denied all repairs. This company has 1,200 terrible, one star reviews on yelp. Now they have 1,201! My appointment was scheduled between 8-12 so I got up early and re-scheduled my day around their arrival. At 10:15 I received a voice message on my phone stating the technician would arrive in 28 minutes. That was the last contact I had with them until I called their office at 12:00. No one answered the phone. I called again and someone told me they would check with someone and call me back. No call. I called my home warranty company back and requested a new contractor. ZERO STARS. Accord came to assess the dishwasher that was making a loud screeching noise, lights flashing. Sergei did NOTHING. He turned it on, heard the noise and said it needs a new pump. He said he will order a pump and return in a week. He did not pull the dishwasher out and look at it because he did not want to disturb the 1 inch trim piece on the baseboard. He THEN proceeded to report to First American Home Warranty that the cause is a plumbing issue AND where the dishwasher was installed (???NORMAL LOCATION NEXT TO THE SINK!!)). So, First American took our $95 service fee, denied the claim and will not send a 2nd company to actually LOOK AT THE PROBLEM. I would NOT send Accord Appliance and I would not recommend First American Home Warranty. read more

Had appointment today. They were a NO SHOW after waiting 4 hours for a warranty part replacement that was supposed to be very simple to replace. Called their office said they would call back and did not after waiting for an hour called them back. They said they would call me back within the hour then it was almost 3 hours. Still no call back. Review for American Home Shield and Accord Appliance I've been a loyal AHS customer for years, but this year has been a disaster. For my refrigerator claim, the technician from Accord Appliance told me to unplug it for three days and "see if it works." We rented a fridge to avoid food spoilage. He later said it was irreparable, but AHS claimed it was fixed and closed the claim, falsely stating we had bought a new fridge. Accord Appliance never responded to my follow-up. Then came a washer claim. The same technician said it was irreparable and wrote "Motherboard water found, bad tub bearing" on the work order. AHS denied coverage, saying the internal report blamed improper use. When I questioned the contradiction, I was told technicians don't tell customers the truth--only their internal report matters. AHS refused to help unless I paid another $125 for a second technician. I've already paid $250 in service fees plus $84/month for a plan that hasn't resolved anything. I researched Accord Appliance and found 32 complaints--many tied to AHS referrals. I offered this info to AHS, but their rep, Rhea, said she wasn't interested. She was rude, dismissive, and offered to send Accord back to add freon to a fridge already declared irreparable. That was insulting. This company has gone downhill. Accord Appliance is a nightmare. They were assigned by American Home Shield (AHS) warranty company to fix my dishwasher. The magnitude of ONE STAR REVIEWS here speaks for itself (1052 1-star out of 1188 reviews at time of this writing). They don't care about customer service, their Yelp profile remains unclaimed, and there is no response from the business or attempts to rectify issues. This permeates through all the interactions with this company. Three days of calling to get on their schedule, because their computer system was down. They then rescheduled, but only after the appointment time had already passed. Technician (Oskar) was more interested in promoting his side hustle of cleaning lint from the clothes dryer than addressing the dishwasher issue he was called out for. (Happened twice!). Oskar then tells me it's 100% the main control board, and it'll be a week for ordering parts. However, what gets communicated to AHS is "no issues found, tech is unable to duplicate". Good luck getting in touch with them: Calls go unreturned. Voicemail is full. Instead, you end up spending 30 minutes on hold waiting to speak with someone. They don't show up; then lie to AHS that they did come along with phantom work they did. In my case: 2 no-shows and 1 reschedule out of 5 appointments. 2+ months to fix the dishwasher. Nothing but frustration... days lost waiting for technicians that don't show up, hours lost waiting on hold to speak with someone, time lost dealing with AHS addressing the lies. Tech thru American Home Shield. My dishwasher wasn''t working. Very rude tech came out, opened the door of the dishwasher and said, can't work on it, it has broken glass in the motor. They came out and looked at it and said they'd need to order the part. That was on February 2nd. After three lame excuses to cancel, my dryer still isn't fixed. Had an appointment he came and LOOKED at the washer and said oh your pump is broke will order 2. 2 weeks later he came with the parts but it was not the right one-wrong / reordered new parks 3. I have had them come out three times to fix my refrigerator and it works for a while and then it gets hot . I have had to throw away so much food and meat! When they finally do come, they say they have to order parts and come back two weeks later. We are senior citizens with medicine that needs to be kept cold. Water was not draining from dishwasher. The service appointment was scheduled for a week after the initial call was made for the hours of between noon and 5 pm. After waiting until 5:00 pm no one came. When I called their office I wasn't able to reach anyone. So I waited the entire afternoon for their technician to come and I did' not get a call or text to inform me that he wasn't coming. When I called their office the next day, I was told the technician had an emergency, but my question is why I wasn't told that he wasn't coming.
