Water was not draining from dishwasher. The service appointment was scheduled for a week after the initial call was made for the hours of between noon and 5 pm. After waiting until 5:00 pm no one came. When I called their office I wasn't able to reach anyone. So I waited the entire afternoon for their technician to come and I did' not get a call or text to inform me that he wasn't coming. When I called their office the next day, I was told the technician had an emergency, but my question is why I wasn't told that he wasn't coming. What should have been 1 maybe 2 services took 5 visits over the span of 4 months. They had a technician who broke our fridge worse than what the problem was, but Accord did little to attempt to right their wrongs in terms of prioritizing services and seemed to suggest that they could only book appointments out at least 4-6 weeks in advance. It took getting 3 managers to get them to actually get someone to admit that their technician screwed up and even then, they refused to urgently fix the mistake. When I did have appointments, there was no confirmation email, text, or phone call, resulting in one time, a technician never showing up because they "forgot." Again, when I pointed this error out to them, they insincerely apologised and got me another technician, but not after us waiting another 4 weeks. The technician that serviced my Refrigerator did not seem Knowledgeable. He changed out working parts and did not repair or complete the problems he promised to fix. He also promised he would be back out with a supervising service technician and I never head from him again. I called the corporate office and did not get anywhere. I have American HomeShield and they connected us with Accord for our dishwasher. The window for arrival was 1:00-5:00. At 2:35, I contacted Accord to get an ETA and was advised that the technician supposedly call or came by at 12:20 pm. I double checked my phone and Ring to make sure I did not miss a call. UPDATE: W e had another appliance repair come out and contrary to what Accord Appliance claimed was wrong with our dryer, we had 2 sensors that went out that had NOTHING to do with our vents needing cleaned that Accord Appliance hadn't noticed needed repairand he also replaced our dryer door. The NEW technician went out of his way to go up on top of our roof top and inspected our vents (Accord Appliance tech refused to) and he confirmed our vent was clean and clear of debris not what we were told at all by Accord Appliance. This man from the new repair company did a thorough inspection of our dryer before he even began the work NOT like Accord Appliance because their technician was to concerned with going out to his vehicle pretending to get tools and texting away! If we would have know the poor quality service technicians this company employees, we would have NEVER opted to have them ATTEMPT to service our dryer. TWICE. The CLOWN they had come out was RUDE AND LACKING MANNERS. My home warranty company hired them to fix my refrigerator back in November. It took them 21/2 months of replacing parts and guessing what was wrong with it to get it working. $1100 in parts in labor. The refrigerator died again in March less than 2 months later. For some reason, the warranty company hired these idiots again. They then told the warranty company that the fridge is not repairable. But because the warranty company already spent $ 1,100 on repairs that didn't fix the fridge, they now only want to cover a small fraction of the cost of my fridge. So I call the Accord Appliance company, and they don't want to refund the $1100 they spent to fix the fridge that they didn't fix. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, the leadership didn't have phone numbers, only emails. I assume this is because they know how bad they fuck people over, and the leadership just doesn't want to talk to the customers. I put a claim thru home warranty and accord called and scheduled an appointment with me to fix my fridge that didn't work and there earliest appointment was 2 weeks out. On the day of my appointment we where here waiting from 12-5pm and half way thru I got a call from accord saying they where calling to reschedule. Of course I was upset told I have no working fridge but they set another appointment a week out. Once again on the day they where going to come out they NO SHOWED and when we called them they had the nerve to say somebody came and nobody answered the door. This is the worst company I have ever interacted with. Our home warranty company set us up with a cord appliance for a washing machine repair. The company sent a technician out to repair my washing machine same day as my claim and I was told the problem was fixed during that first appointment. The washing machine was still broken when I went to use it later that day. I contacted the company first thing the next morning to have someone back out to our home to actually repair the problem. A follow up appointment was scheduled a couple days later, which turned into the technician no showing. When I called the company to ask where the technician was or why he did not show up, I was told he had ordered parts for the repair and I needed to wait for them to get in. I questioned how he was able to diagnose the problem in order the correct parts if he never came back to my home to figure out what was not functioning correctly. Long story short, three weeks later, the company stopped answering my phone calls unless I blocked my number when calling in. I would have to call our home warranty to play the middleman and get in touch with the company for any type of communication. They NO-showed to two separate appointments. One time the technician lied and said nobody was home. I informed the company that we have someone at our home at all times, as well as cameras around our home and the Ring app with proof he never showed up. I reached out to our home warranty company several times and they tried playing the middleman having me be patient and giving the company "one more try" after every single rescheduled visit. Too long of a story to write but here are the main issues: 1. Long wait times for appointments 2. Told me one thing and then diagnosed something different to home warranty 3. Twice when they came out to repair, the stovetop was actually more broken than it was when they got there! I had to call dispatch and demand they return same day as they tried to schedule a new appt after worsening my stovetop themselves. 4. My claim has been going for 3 months without resolution as they have sent multiple technicians out who tried to fix and still won't recommend replacement. 5. The techs don't seem to have any knowledge of what the other techs have done so they just keep diagnosing the same things over and over. 6. Now when trying to get a hold of someone to determine what the next steps are, no one is calling me back 7. I have reached out via email twice to the "Manager" with no response. I had a dishwasher repair done with them via American Home Shield and when they replaced the broken part the technician apparently couldn't bother with property removing the the damaged part from other non broken parts. He broke the indexing wings off of the spout that sends water up to the top rack and decided it was more appropriate to shove a screw somewhere there shouldn't be one than to replace the part he broke. read more

I called him, he did not answer. I called him again to find out where he was and he said, "Oh I left already, I have a tight schedule and couldn't wait. Horrid and corrupt is the best I can offer. The technician was 30 minutes late past as his assigned arrival of 9 a.m. - Noon. He arrived at 12:30 p.m. and offered NO viable reason for his delay nor why he did not contact me to announce he was running late. He was beyond unpresentable as a worker. He had no identifiable shirt or identification that he worked for Accord Appliance. He arrived in a POS private, small early model two-door coupe with a magnetic Accord Appliance magnetic door cover on the vehicle. The car was too small to carry any workman's equipment. The car appeared as if the technician was literally living in it. He smelled as if he invented cigarettes - it was nearly overwhelming. He was Russian ... I can't make that up. His accent was so thick that nearly every third word was not understandable. He had no tools, no equipment, and no replacement part(s). He only had a clip board. My Samsung in-refrigerator ice machine had died (like all Samsung ice makers). He looked at it (I had already defrosted the ice maker) and he immediately insinuated - in no uncertain terms - that "somebody" had altered the ice machine and likely invalidated the AHS warranty. He refused to acknowledge that Samsung ice-makers are de facto defective despite class action law suits they had lost. The tech refused to acknowledge that the problem was likely "an ice build up outside the ice machine box" and positioned at the furthest part of the devise within the freezer. He refused to actually take the ice machine out of the freezer to inspect it. All the while, he literally "chided" me to know he is "only a technician" - a phrase he literally used 11 times. He then "suggested" that I should turn my entire refrigerator "off" for 36 hours then re-start it. He said that "may" help the problem. Then he said straight faced, "The ice machine is operating fine. It is hidden ice causing the problem." He quickly said I had to sign off on numerous items on a boiler-plate document. Then he said in no uncertain terms that AHS would make a determination of coverage and notify me before the end of the week. Of course, that didn't happen. The tech then departed my house, walked to his car in the front of my house, and literally sat in it for nearly 30 minutes before departing. Accord Appliance then proceeded to lie about its service and reported to AHS that an estimate had been provided, repair was initiated, and the service was completed. That is precisely the report that Accord Appliance sent to AHS. The ice machine needed to be replaced ... it was deceased, past tense, never more, gone to the bowels of defective ice makers, etc. Accord Appliance is simply a group of scam artists collecting fees from home warranty companies. They have no intention of fixing your appliances, or helping you become whole. Now I will have to deal with AHS (which can be challenging - hopefully not) to rectify the problem. AHS should NEVER use Accord Appliance again. It is as lowly rated as possible but, actually, I offer it is worse than that. I wasted a $100 service call fee for a rogue outfit ... Worst experience ever. I have had very good experiences with Lowes with appliance issues, but Accord is the worst company they have ever sent for repairs. They scheduled an appointment for a Wednesday, then called me to change it to Friday. When I said OK, they said Friday wasn't available, so they would come on Monday. Why offer Friday if it wasn't available. They come out Monday, and said they have to order parts. I called Lowes on Wednesday, and the claim was closed. I asked Accord why, and they said Lowes denied the parts for the repair, and I needed to ask them why. I called Lowes, and they had a record where the parts were approved at 5pm Tuesday, and Accord cancelled the repair at 7pm. I called Accord to see why they lied to me, providing the times Lowes provided, and after being put on hold, I was informed I would get a call back. 2 days later, no word. They were sent to my address via my AHS warranty. From the onset they were terrible. Technician "IVAN" unprepared and seemed lost. A simple hinge that broke on my washer machine causing rendering the lid inoperable became a wiring problem according to them, and guess what that not covered by AHS. I will be contacting AHS immediately to request a new technician. There's a reason why Accord Appliance prohibits customers reviews on their web site, they're horrible and dishonest. Let's be honest. Any company that has this many crappy reviews is trying to suck. Accord was referred by our homeowner's insurance company, American Home Shield. We had a simple normal wear and tear issue that, because of what these guys submitted, was declined for "not being normal wear and tear." Insurance companies are in the business of not trying to pay and these are guys are gold-star contractors for them. If referred by insurance, do yourself a favor and ask for someone else. A 15 minute fix took 3 weeks to have scheduled in due to scheduling conflicts. Not sure why company didn't see this as an emergency? 3 weeks of non refrigerated items lost. Very inconvenient and unhelpful to accommodate for customers. Even after service was completed it will send a follow up text to review the service, doesn't even let you submit. They got the call and scheduled me for one week out between 8-12. I call at 2pm and the person that answered said the technician was on his way. I called again 2 hours later and was told that the technician was on his way. I asked for an eta and they said I'd get a call back 30 min later. After receiving no call back I decided to call again. Then informed me that the next available appointment was at the end of the week. Obviously frustrated I said it should be their responsibility to have some one show up asap. Again indifferent with the situation the conversation went no where. Friday the tech showed up and informed us that we had to evacuate the water from the washer and left without fixing anything telling us that when we got the water out he would return. I got the water out and Monday called to inform them that the water was out and explained the situation to whoever answered. She told me that she would inform the technician so he can return. I was informed by the home warranty that the ticket had been closed. My washer is still broken and has been out of commission for 3 weeks. This has to be the worst experience I've ever had. I'd recommend anyone I meet to avoid this company. The service is horrible. The staff is horrible. The business is horrible and there is no professionalism. If I could leave negative stars I absolutely would. This is the second time I've paid for this company to come and do absolutely nothing but collect a check. Please avoid this company. Their work is shotty at best. They consistently try to find reasons not to do the work. The interactions are consistently rude and disrespectful.
