This company is one of the worst. Unfortunately, our appliances are contracted on warranty and we had a an appointment. Accord Appliance never showed up, never called, and never answered the phone. Zero contact and no communication. How this company is contracted to fix any appliance is a huge mystery and after reading the Yelp reviews, I am reassured that we are not alone. Had to use this company to fix our refrigerator through American Home Shield. They came out, the technician was fine but it stopped working again the next day. Called AHS to re-open claim. When Accord finally answered the phone the appointment was over a week out. The rude person that schedules said do you want the appointment or not so i said yes. I would give ZERO stars if they'd let me. I've been trying to get my washer and dryer fixed since March 1st through my AHS warranty. AHS assigned Accord Appliance who came out for a prior warranty issue I had for my dishwasher. At that time the repairman from Accord Appliance said he needed to order a part since the part was broken. Several days went by and no call back and no part from Accord Appliance. I called AHS and they said that they were waiting on authorization because the work order request was not written up properly. After a couple more days I called back and was told that AHS was trying to reach Accord Appliance but was unable to. Finally, AHS assigned the account to another contractor and I found out that the part was not broken and did not need to be replaced. Fast forward to my current claim. AHS sent Accord Appliance right back to my home and guess what? Even after I texted Accord Appliance not to come, they still said they came to my home (which they did not)! I called AHS back today and was told that I was a no show for the appointment and never canceled. Now I'm being told I have to wait for contracting to contact me. I'd put half a star or none at all if I could. These guys absolutely suck. Where to start... I put an order in with my home warranty to get my whirlpool fridge fixed after it started beeping and the compressor kept kicking on and off. This was 12/21 btw, a month ago. So they referred me to this company and I made an appt for them to come out. They never showed. A few days go by (on X-mas Eve of all days) and I get a call from a technician that he's at my gate and needed the code to get into my community. I wasn't even home or had an appt. that day. Really? So then I had to make another appt. The guy (kid) shows up in a beat up truck and comes in to "diagnose" the issue. The kid is rude and dismissive and acted like he didn't even want to be here. I told him my ice-maker leaks water and compressor/beeping issue. He then says he has to order parts and has to come back a week later. Meanwhile prior to showing up they have my fridge model number and series. How do you not already have parts? So after he leaves I call the company to send someone a little more professional and knowledgeable because he obviously wasn't it. Next appt, another week later, another kid shows up. A little more serious and more polite. He has the parts needed and begins working on it. Replaces the ice-maker and control board. Fixed the ice maker but the fridge still beeping and problem not fixed. He tells me he has to order another part (again why don't you have everything you need when diagnosing this problem) and leaves my kitchen a mess. Water all over the tile and my mat by stove looked like it was trampled by drywall. Very unprofessional. So here we are today and I was suppose to have an appt. tomorrow. I call them, after waiting on hold for 15 mins. a girl answered and I asked if they had whatever part they ordered and if it's going to get fixed. She had no record of anything getting ordered. She said the last guy needed some other tech to come out and re-diagnose it!!! REALLY??? Hence I called my home warranty company and complained and they are sending a highly recommended company out to fix the issue. No wonder this company has a crappy rating! BEWARE! Accord Appliance is the worst appliance repair company I have ever dealt with in my life! I'm a real estate agent & I've dealt with probably a hundred different repair companies. My home warranty company sent out Accord Appliance to fix my refrigerator. After 6 times it is still broken & leaking all over the floor. No one answers the phone & when you leave a message they never return the call. They give you a 6 hour window of when they will come to your house. The 6 hour window is non-negotiable and I have spent 45 hours and 2+ MONTHS waiting for this company to get their act together and fix my fridge. Everyone from the receptionist to the repairman are simply a bunch of bozos in my opinion. I would never recommend them to anyone for any reason. My washing machine was clicking off randomly and the first visit the tech stated it needed a "control panel". The second visit he said it needed "a timer". The third visit, to install the "timer" was today. He turned on my washing machine and left without notifying my daughter. Constantine came to my house with a major attitude complaining that he wasn't even getting paid for the visit. He told me "Let me do my job". Which in turn he did NOT diagnosis or service my microwave. I didn't receive a work order invoice when I requested one. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe in my house. I even had my husband on the phone to make me feel more safe. He seemed to have major anger issures. What was the point of him showing up. I am having an unresolved issue with American Home Shield regarding the repair of my fridge. Despite multiple attempts by their repairman to fix it since November 3, 2023, the problem still persists. On December 11, 2023, the repairman came again to try to fix it, but now the fridge does not make ice anymore. Despite repeated calls to AHS, they are not taking any concrete action to resolve the issue and are just asking me to wait for the repairman to diagnose the problem. This constant back and forth with AHS is unacceptable. I have decided to cancel my contract with them as they are not fulfilling their contractual obligations as promised. Unfortunately, suing them in court is not an option as they have an arbitration clause in their contract, which would make it expensive to sue them. Thank you Accord Appliance,!! I have read many of the negative reviews and I'm not here to "invalidate" the negative reviews, BUT, I will say that "EVERY" experience is different. We purchased our dream home, a beautiful 4880 sq. ft home in Rimrock Estates north San Diego 4 months ago, and although the home is magazine quality, our $7000 Thermador refrigerator that came with the home was a complete lemon (thanks shady previous homeowner)!!! Luckily the previous homeowner purchased a First American Home Warranty for us (I'll discuss this useless insurance company in another review)!! Let me stay on track... After we moved in, we noticed the Thermador went from 34 degrees to 70 and never looked back. First, American Home Warranty sent 1 1/2 * on Yelp Antech Appliance, their tech was a waste of time, next First American sent Axis Appliance 2 1/2 *s on Yelp, now this tech came with a can of Freon and some serious stomach issues and poor home training!! Not only did he NOT fix our fridge, before he left, he had the audacity to ask to use my guest bathroom, and hell to the naw, he took a DUMP in my dream home bathroom, and had the nerve to leave markings!!! I immediately called First American, which by now it was going on 3 months that we had a broken refrigerator (of course we went out and purchased a Samsung fridge for the garage and used that). FINALLY, First American sent the 3rd contractor Accord Appliance and an angel named Michael arrived, and quickly diagnosed the Thermador as obsolete and forwarded his conclusion to First American Warranty, who FINALLY cut us a check $7000 minus B.S. excuses = $3980.00, whatever! About 2 weeks later Michael returned to service our Samsung VRT steam washer/dryer which the previous homeowner also junked to us. Michael quickly rectified the issue and both machines are operating full function. STAY AWAY!! If possible I'd give zero stars. This company was assigned to us through our warranty company. Our washer was working but it was malfunctioning (not hitting spin cycle and leaking water). The repair guy (Hector) showed up and proceeded to break the washer completely to where it wouldn't even power on anymore. So he ordered new parts, came back 3 weeks later and then said he needed to order MORE parts but, promised that if those repairs didn't fix it he would recommend replacement. Cut to, 4 weeks later and we were still waiting on parts. Each time I called appliance to get an update we could never get a straight answer from them and there was such a massive language barrier to almost everyone we spoke with it was very hard to communicate our issues. After all of the requested parts came in (we had been waiting over a month at this point) a "senior" technician came out to fix Hector's work and stated that he needed to order MORE parts. When I expressed my frustration with him over Hector's shotty work and the multiple delays his company caused, without any apparent care or concern for the inconvenience and cost it caused us, he just laughed. He literally LAUGHED and said he refused to recommend replacement. This company is beyond terrible. They don't communicate with you, they make your issues worse with no apologies or any sort of remedy offered and they could care less. STAY AWAY!! read more

This place was used through my appliance warranty company. The issue was my 2 year old whirlpool refrigerator stopped cooling. The tech came out on 1/6/20 and didn't say much. We even noticed a tiny hole in the evaporator coil and showed it to him. We waited a whole month for them to receive the part. Finally an appt was scheduled but they did not show up. I checked the website and it referred me to call my warranty company. Apparently the report made by the Accord tech stated the coil was punctured by us. Really! How would that happen! This resulted in the warranty company not approving the claim. I tried calling Accord and they have THE WORST customer service. I got the run around and told someone will call me back which never happened. Im sure this tech was lazy or this company just collects on inspections. I'm not surprised they have 1.5 stars. He arrived said he knew what the problem was, was going to order the part and left. That was three weeks ago. I get an email from AHS that the matter is done and closed. I call. I find out that Accord refuses to work not he dryer because it is a stacked dryer on top of the washer and I have to bring it down and place it in a place for the tech to get "easy" access. Now I had it worked on before through a different warranty company and all they did was to send two techs to pull the units out and work on them. Our washer from Lowe's gave us an error message and stopped working on October 17, 2023. On October 20th we were told by Lowe's extended warranty division to contact Accord Appliance. The customer service with this company is appallingly. We finally got through after 3 failed attempts. They sent a technician to our house to troubleshoot the problem and the technician was very nice and professional. He knew exactly what parts needed to be ordered. He is a contractor and not an employee of Accord Appliance. He said the parts should be in within 3 to 4 days, then Accord Appliance will contact us and set up another appointment. Accord Appliance never called us back, and when we tried calling them, (approximately 6 more times) they either did not answer their phone, mumbled so bad that we couldn't understand them, or they hung up on us. When we asked a supervisor to call us back, we never received a return call. Now it is November 24, 2023 and we have still not received a call back regarding our washer parts. This is the worst company with the worst customer care. I plan on writing a letter of complaint to the Better, Business Bureau and the CEO of Lowe's. I warn any consumer to NOT purchase any extended warranty with Lowe's until they get a reputable company to work with. read more

The company was used due to my home warranty policy. It was frustrating trying to communicate with them. Parts for my ancient dishwasher took a month to show up. However, once Bernard was assigned to the repair things got mucbetter. He was excellent at diagnosing the initial problem and came back twice as there was a leak after the first visit. He uncovered an "air gap" plumbing issue (basically a blocked artery) and got creative to make sure everything was properly fixed. He was committed to making it right, which I greatly appreciate. Thank you Bernard. Update - back in town, I've examined the repair more closely. The roller rack wheels were a loose fit and only some new ones were put on, leaving two 14-year old crusty ones in place. I ordered 8 correct wheels from Amazon for $9 and they showed up in a day. He first tackled the fan, he thought it was dirty, than decided that the closed Freon system is leaking so he drained the freon, and than he realized it was the control board :-) Duh!! when he came i told him the control board is bad since it was limited on its functions as for reducing the temperature in both compartment. We have a refrigerator that is less than nine months old and it should have been serviced within four days and our home was without a refrigerator for almost an entire two months. Just a few days shy of it. This company lied multiple times and told us that the part that it needed was on back order, when we started to do some investigating for ourselves We were told by the company that supplies the parts that this company does not pay their invoices and therefore parts are never released to them. Our refrigerator should have been fixed within the week of our service call. The customer service comes straight from the hells of incompetence. On more than one occasion my wife and I have spoken to the office manager and he has told us multiple times that he is the only one working that day and that he is understaffed and instead of calling the company that supplies the parts he will "try" to get to it by the end of the day because he is so busy. We were shocked. SHOCKED at the many many MANY things he said. they have to be laundering money or something because they can't possibly be making any money on repairs. Omg! Accord Appliance is the worse company EVER. First, I had an appointment with them on Tuesday "no show" i called them and they said that a technician came and that no one was home and no cars in drive way. I called BS and said everyone was home. So they rescheduled for Thursday 5/20 . They sent a guy who looked like he was 18 years old. Had no F***clue what he was doing. Didn't pull the dish washer (but determined the hose needed to be replaced) He then looked at the microwave and said he had to order the same part that they replaced last time. He ended up leaving and he failed to turn the microwave light off. I've called them already over 10 times requesting that the technician come back to turn the light off and still no call back or no technician. This company is garbage. He did not unscrew the screws to access the refrigerator parts or run any tests to see what was wrong. Said he had to order parts but didn't know what parts to order because no test was done on my refrigerator. He said they will come back in 2 or 3 weeks. No appointment was given. Made me sign a work order invoice. The work order invoice states, "Accord Appliance Repair, Inc., has made replacement and/or repair(s) made to my satisfaction." I got screwed because he told me this was for him to order parts and I didn't read the fine print. DON'T EVER SIGN ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS. YOU WILL BE SCREWED. This is their business, just to come for the first estimate, take the money from your insurance company, and never come back again. TRUST THE REVIEWS ON HERE, THEY ARE ALL TRUE. I am fighting with my warranty people to get another company out. Everyone who gets screwed should leave their reviews on Yelp, Google, and Better Business Bureau. I can write for hours to express my dissatisfaction and disappointment regarding this company's shady method of operation and complete disregard for the customer. I did not want to believe the reviews, but unfortunately, they were pretty accurate. I have had a recurring refrigerator problem, so Accord is not the first to try to fix it, but they are the first to lie about trying to fix it. The technician seemed nice but then told AHS that I refused to let him diagnose the problem. What a joke. He did find the problem, pointed it out to my husband and me and then told us it was recurring and it was probably not worth him trying to fix again. He was the one to suggest I fight for a new appliance. When he left, he said he would write it up and go from there. It then took a week for the company to convey anything to AHS. I called the company and AHS three times each and was probably on hold for over an hour total. I have First American home buyers warranty. I live in Banning. Today Accord appliances was supposed to come out from 12 to 5 to fix an item in my freezer. I called around noon to make sure I could find out where I was in the line of people being serviced today. The girl told me that I was about in the middle On the 12 to 5 schedule and not to worry because they were aware of the fact that I am disabled on oxygen 24 hours a day and that they would be here in the middle of the day. She said they would call me 1/2 an hour before they would come to my house. Fast forward to 4:45 PM I get a phone call from a man From Accord appliance. I said you were late because it's now 4:45 and I've been waiting here since 12 noon out in my family room and I am disabled. He said well if you want to reschedule and I said well how far away are you and he said 20 minutes and then he hung up. He did not give me the opportunity to see whether to come today. I'm sure he's tired by the end of the day but that's very bad service especially for someone who is disabled. Now I'm having trouble with First American Home Warranty because they don't want to switch to a different vendor. I do not wish to deal with somebody who is so rude. So nobody is doing anything and meanwhile I'm still disabled.
