Accord Appliance came out to fix our washer and dryer. The rep looked at it and said they would order the parts and get back with us. At 2 weeks I called them back and left a message with no return call. 3 days later I called again and someone answered phone to advise me that on February 1st they were advised the insurance closed our claim out. This was 12 days ago and no one had the courtesy to call us back to advise that we were not going to get the parts! Horrible customer service and I would never recommend this company to anyone. No wonder they only have a 1.5 rating! Basic customer service they should have call to advise us. I gave Accord one more chance to be honest and professional, but they failed again. I told my home insurance company to send anyone but them next time. This time, they came to repair my built-in microwave, which is a covered appliance. When the tech arrived, I had already removed the microwave to see why the latch was not opening the door, so the cover was off. The cover is the factor which makes the determination whether it is built-in or counter-top. The tech asked where the cover was and I told him it was in the garage, if he wanted to see it, but he said that wasn't necessary. Actually, he was very nice and informed me what I already knew, that the unit was so old, that the part was no longer available. Therefore, he said the company would have to replace the unit with another built-in, assuming it was covered. I told him I would write him and Accord a good review this time as he performed as expected. After not hearing anything from them or the insurance company for two weeks, I called the insurance, only to be told that Accord refused to tell the truth, by telling them it was not a built-in microwave. Another lie from Accord as per my last encounter. So, I certainly don't recommend Accord for anything to be repaired in your home unless you don't care about honesty. It's a shame that a referral company sent out by American Home Shield, has no integrity, and still stays in business? read more

Where do I start. Insurance company sent accord to look at dishwasher. tech said heating element was bad and needed to be replaced. 1 month later they still did not report findings to insurance co. They kept stalling saying they could not find part. Then 2 months later insurance co said my dishwasher would be replaced. Accord told the ins co they wanted me to take old dishwasher out. That's half the work they wanted me to do. Then accord told the insurance co they would not do it because my dishwasher was tiled into the kitchen. I sent insurance co pictures that showed not 1 single tile in the entire kitchen and a 2" gap on all sides of the dishwasher. Insurance co is sending a new company out in 2 days to do the project. My insurance co. Sent this co. Out to repair my dishwasher. The repair man spent at most 5 mins looking at the problem. He opened up the control panel and said it might need a fuse. Then closed it up and said it did not have a fuse. He wrote down the Serial number and said, "I don't think the part you need is available anymore for your Jenn Air dishwasher. The washer is an old model and has natural wear and tear. I reached for my laptop and looked up Jenn-air parts to see if the control panel I needed was available in front of him. He said, "Don't worry about finding the part; let your insurance company do that for you."If they can't locate the part, they will replace the dishwasher or give you a cash rebate. They will be in touch. He left me a blank work order and went on his way. The next day my insurance co said they received the report from Accord, and they stated I had a rodent in my dishwasher control panel, and it could not be repaired!!!! Because the damage was not due to natural wear and tear. I thought they got me mixed up with someone else!!! Nope. I said I do not have rodents in my home, let alone a tiny ant! I then hung up with the insurance co and called Accord. I asked what did they report back to my insurance co.??The dispatcher said the technician said, "There were Roaches in my control panel!! He said he needed additional parts and they would get back to me. He left me a work order invoice that was completely blank. Aside from my information and my washer information, the problem, parts, service needed were all left blank. I made a follow up call to accord and was told that my home warranty company declined the claim but I could pay for parts and labor out of pocket? I contacted my home warranty company who said they had not even heard from Accord as of yet. Later that day Accord contacted my home warranty and said that the problem was due to overloading my washer and they denied the claim. They put you on hold for 30 minutes or longer just to come back and tell you they don't have an answer as to the status of your repair. And that's *IF* you can reach them by phone, and I say "if" because they either don't answer the phone or their voicemail is full so you can't leave a message. They don't follow up on ANYTHING and they lie. When you call to say there is an issue they promise to have a manager call you and one never does. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ended up firing them and complaining to LG to let LG know that Accord is not qualified to be an LG authorized repair company. Accord Appliance is possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with. I contacted American Home Shield (another joke of a company) who sent Accord to repair my Samsung refrigerator. It took nearly three days for them to come to my house at which time diagnosed the problem and stated he would order the part that evening. I received a text the next day stating the part was received however the soonest it could be installed was ten days later. I stated that was unacceptable given I have a terminally ill individual in my home with vital medication that needed refrigeration. The person scheduling the appointment to complete the repair stated "that your problem", however would place me on the cancelation list and I may get service sooner. So here I am now ten days from the initial diagnosistic visit was told I was scheduled for between noon and 6, and wouldn't you know it, a no show. I call the company at 6:30 the answering machine transfered me to an email box which informed me it was full then promptly hung up. I went online to the Better Business Bureau and was shocked at the reviews. It is not rated other than "D" with nearly 600 complaints. What was most surprising was how many involved American Home Shield. Nothing but fraud all the way round from what I see. UPDATE I called this company this morning questioning why no one showed up for yesterdays appointment or called to cancel. I was placed on hold nearly ten minutes before the operator returned and told me the technician had an emergency and the next available date would be the week following Thanksgiving. I told him that water kept leaking all over my hardwood floors but he said he couldn't find anything. A representative from Accord contacted me within 24 hours to schedule an appointment. I received a reminder text the day before and about 20 minutes before arrival. The repairman, Dimitry, was clean, friendly and completed the repair in less than an hour. I would give them zero stars if I could...this company is ridiculous and sketchy as HELL!! Our warranty company had them come out to look at our 15 year old washing machine. Something about the technician had me side eyeing him before he ever came across our threshold, but nevertheless I let him in.!After messing around with the washing machine he got it to start and said that the button was partially broken, but we could probably "play around" with it to get it to work. I said no way, that won't work for me. After fiddling with it a few more minutes he couldn't get it to do anything and then determined that the start button had worn out and because the machine was so old the parts were no longer being manufactured, so he said he would go back to his company and try to find parts and if he found them they would contact us and if not we probably would have to get a new washing machine. The next day our warranty company contacted us saying that they won't be covering the cost to repair or buy us another machine because the technician said that we were negligent for pushing the start button too hard. What the hell??!! We've been pushing that same ONE button for 15 years to start the machine, so what exactly did we do wrong?? He did not indicate anything on our work order that suggested that we were at fault, hell he didn't even include a diagnosis (see pic)! Needless to say we let our warranty company have it and we are making them send out another company at no cost to us. Accord Appliance was sent to my house in December and in March they have fixed nothing. Originally, they came to give a second opinion on my two - drawer dishwasher in December 2023. They came and said I needed two motors. They sent a repair man to install the parts, but he left without installing anything as he said he only had received one part. Two weeks later, a man returned and installed the two motors. The repairman left after starting a wash cycle on each drawer. He said they were fixed and would finish the cycle in about an hour after he left. When finished, the drawers had an F1 error. I called and said there was an F1 error on both drawers, so they could look up the error code. I rescheduled and a repair man returned two weeks later and said he didn't know what F1 meant and left. They wanted to send another repair man. It is 3 months later and I still have no working dishwasher. I requested the warranty company to send another supplier. After reading reviews on Yelp and BBB, I considered calling AHS to request another contractor. As there were som excellent reviews, I went ahead with Accord and thought I'd give them a chance. Accord was scheduled the very next day to be here within the morning 8-12 timeframe. George (Jorge?) arrived on time. He was professional, got right down to work and determined the problem and the solution. He needed to order a new compressor, which he said would take a week. We received a call the very next day, to schedule the appointment for the repair. The next morning, Jorge arrived, replaced the compressor and we had a working refrigerator. I am very pleased with the work that was done, earlier than expected, in a professional and courteous manner. Absolutely 5 stars. read more

I have never had a home warranty before so when First American assigned these guys to my claim I went looking for reviews. Coming here had me believing my dishwasher would never be fixed. They scheduled an appointment for me, and low and behold I got a text 15 minutes before the arrival time and a call when they were outside. So what... I managed to get someone here. Big deal? Apparently, they never come back with the parts right? Well, to my surprise the parts came in a week later and they called me and made another appointment.
