This place is a total scam! If I could give them 0 stars, I would! American home shield contracts out to this business. I had a technician look at the error code on my washer and quickly left within minutes. He told me that I wasn't going to pay for the visit and that they needed to order a part. He didn't even tell me what was wrong with it nor wrote it in my invoice. He practically ran out of the house. I received an email from accord, indicating that there was an unusually long wait to obtain parts due to covid. I emailed to see what the status was after no word from American home shield nor accord. After 12 days and waiting on hold again with accord, they inform me that the repair isn't covered under my contract as the damage isn't associated with normal wear and tear, unusual damage to the door. What a lie!! The water isn't draining in my washer and the technician didn't bother to even check the drainage nor examine the washer. I had to pay the 75$ service fee and potentially another 75$ for a second opinion. Ridiculous! I suggest you all make a formal complaint with the BBB and with your insurance company. read more

I had an appointment with them for a second opinion for my dryer , yes it's still broken . But my appointment was late afternoon and my grandpa passed away and I needed to change it to an earlier one , they were so sweet and helpful and changed the appointment time for me. The dryer is still broker but the gentleman listened to what was wrong and figured out what it was and told me what to do( I need to have a different company come glean my ducts) he said if that isn't the problem and it is still it working he would come back, however he was 99.9% sure that's my problem Thank you guys for being so understanding read more

The following is my experience with this company: On Saturday, February10 2018, I received a call from Accord Appliance to set up an appointment for Monday the 12th. The appointment was set between the hours of 12-6pm. I decided to take have a day off work so I can be there for the appointment. I arrived at my house at 11:15am. At 11:34am, I contacted Accord Appliance to make sure the appointment was still as scheduled. The gentleman confirmed that the appointment was still as scheduled and stated that I was the third appointment in the afternoon, so the tech should be at my house between 2-4pm, but that I would get a call from the tech on his way to my house. At around 1:35pm I went to my mailbox to check for mail, I noticed a business card was place on the front door. I was an Accord Appliance Repair business card. I check my "Ring" doorbell system and noticed that around 10:58am the Accord Appliance Tech was at my door. I never received a call from him stating that he was on his way. At this time I contacted Accord Appliance Repair. The lady stated that my case was closed at 12:03pm cause no one was home. I informed her what had transpired and asked to speak with a manager. She stated that managers don't talk to customers over scheduling. I advised her that it was a complaint and she still said that I couldn't speak with a supervisor. This if super frustrating; First, I did not get a call from the Tech that he was on his was or I would of left work earlier, second, he was not here between 12-6pm as scheduled, third, he closed the case at 12:03pm, if that was the case I would of been home earlier. I don't understand why he would close it at 12:03 when he came at 10:58. Fourth, they advised me that they were not able to get a hold of him and even if they would, he would not come back. Fifth, I was not able to speak to a supervisor. The only option was to rescheduled, which means I will have to take another 4 hours off work. I don't understand why the tech came early without calling me ahead of time, knowing that the appointment was from 12-6pm. This was very frustrating to know that I wasted 4 hours of vacation time for no reason. Now I need to use at least another 4 hours of vacation time to fix my fridge. The lady that I spoke with was at first very mean and at one point wanted to hang up on me. I was very frustrated and she did not have any solutions other than to reschedule. After, she understood my frustration, she was professional, but once again the only option was to reschedule. I hope this was an isolated incident and not the norm. read more

Whatever you do, avoid this company. They are a GE authorized repair shop and apparently thinks that means they do not have to care about the customer. GE scheduled a repair for me with them on a new fridge for a week from the day of my call. They didn't show. When I called to ask why, they said GE should have checked with them first. That GE does this all the time. No apologies. Nothing. They scheduled to come out a week later at which time the repair guys did show up, noodled with the fridge and seemed to have fixed the problem (a built-in Kerurig coffeemaker that was malfunctioning). But a few days later, the problem started again. I scheduled a follow up call via GE then called Accord and they said they were still waiting on approval from my "insurance" for a part. Because of this, they canceled my repair call. Now get this: they told GE they had completed the call. Don't know what's up with that. But I had GE speak to them directly, and the GE guy comes back to me to say how awful they are. He got nowhere with them, even after verbally saying the part was approved. He tells me to call them in four days or so to schedule. So I do that. I tell the gal on the line GE had said I could go ahead and schedule. She said everyone was busy in the warehouse and they'd get back to me by 5 p.m. I expressed the fact I'd been waiting for weeks to get something on the book and had several no shows. She basically snapped at me "as I said, they're busy and we'll call by 5." I said fine. Guess what? No call. These people should not be in business. I hope GE cans their stupid butts. They are miserable. Every negative review you see here on Yelp is spot on. Run!!! read more

The technician Porfirio from Accord Appliance was sent by First American Home Warranty to repair my GE gas stove on 7/1/21. Some of the burner knobs would not turn (frozen). Instead of checking under the top of the stove to diagnose the problem, he said he knew the burners needed some new valves, but he could not find the model or serial numbers on the stove. He refused to look further but said he would order parts. My question was how without the model and serial numbers? I found my original owner's manual and called Accord Appliance several time and the phone rang and rang and no one would answer. Finally I phoned First American Home Warranty and they finally reached the company and gave them the model and serial numbers. Two months later, (and I know COVID-19 is slowing things down), Porfirio returns on 8/24/21 to repair the stove. He finally opens the top and finds that the left gas pipe has broken off from the connection. He then tried to infer someone had opened the stove after he had come in July, which was untrue. Had he performed a competent job of diagnosing the problem when he first came he would have known about the broken gas pipe and ordered it. He then refused to install the parts I had been waiting two months for saying he was not allowed to complete the repair since there was something else broken, I asked him to leave; so, he took the parts First American Home Warranty had purchased to repair my stove. This is the second time this company was sent to my house and both times Porfirio was the technician sent. The first time to fix my dishwasher and I had to have another company to come and fixed what he poorly repaired. This is a terrible, non responsive company and the technician is arrogant and incompetent. read more

They came to fix my built in microwave and someone "fixed it". As soon as he left, it stopped working again. They came a week later and said it needs a part and that someone will contact me. (No one has contacted me by the way) As soon as the technician left I noticed that the microwave was constantly running ! 24/7! Wasn't like that before he came. No way to turn it off except by turning off the main power to entire unit including the oven. When I called to let them know they said they would let the technician know. No one ever came. Where do I start? This "Appliance Repair" company is without doubt the most incompetent collection of clowns I have ever dealt with. I had a brand new Electrolux fridge that they have been unable to fix. The office staff are rude, don't return calls. They called me to cancel an appointment that didn't exist, and the caller didn't know I had parts on back order. This company is contracted through AHS. If you experience weeks upon weeks without resolution- call your home warranty and be persistent about a second opinion from a different company! I finally got Zen appliance as the third company assigned and it took the same day to repair my dryer. You will go back and forth from both AHS and accord for weeks upon weeks with zero accountability for Accord. If they cannot find a part, they are supposed to notify AHS within a week. AHS will only act if you call with concern and escalate. Call on Saturday In the morning - shorter wait times or even in the morning during the week. My final complaint is accord falsifying documents and falsely reporting symptoms so a claim is denied. Technician that came out left the invoice blank with only the serial number, then added something different from the original diagnosis. You have to call AHS and assertively ask for a different company for a second opinion. The absolute worst experience from accord. Complete hit and miss with Accord. read more

I made an appointment last week for today 11/23/2021 for my refrigerator from 12-5PM to get it repaired. They called at 10:45 AM saying they were not going to be able to make the appointment and wanted to reschedule. I explained my frustration as I made time and scheduled the appointment on my day off. He was put off and said that he didn't have time to argue with me because he had to call 8 other people. I asked him if he could call his supervisor to have someone come out as I did my part to make the arraignments and made myself available to them and asked for the same courtesy. We had Orlando come out to service our dishwasher on three separate occasions and he is wonderful. The first was to replace the circuit board, the second was to check out the soap dispenser that was not working and the third was to replace the soap dispenser. He always called when he was en route, he was always on time, if not early and he fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. He even gave me some tips of how to clean my dishwasher and keep the water pipes clear. It's a shame a few bad eggs have ruined Accord's reputation. I was very pleased! Called customer service this morning after 4 visits from another contractor for Whirlpool and three to this one (bed freezer . . . ). The customer service child did not listen, was rude, called me snippy and then hung up on me. No one from Accord has thus far bothered to call back and check on the problem, which is serious, and will result in replacement of the machine, per the Warranty carrier for Whirlpool. Sadly, the repair technician who came last week actually did a good job! Too bad their customer service peeps have no sense of customer service. . . . Horrible customer service! I was on my cell phone checking my email and the technician told me "stop recording me" Huh?! He said, "Are you recording me?". I said, "I am not going to answer that because this is my house" When Peter, arrived he rang me doorbell several times and banged on my door? He was looking up my stairs, around my rooms, out my back windows and taking pictures. He was angry and shifty. As he walked out my house he called me all types of stereotypes, got in in truck(grey pick up) and gave me the middle finger as he pulled off. He made me feel VERY uncomfortable so then I started taping. In my driveway he said that he would call the cops on me? I said for recording you in my driveway. It was like he mad about my ethnicity and gender. Worse and unsafe maintenance house call I've ever had to endure. So surreal. I called First American they were on it but Accord... Contacted my home warranty due to my dishwasher not working so a guy from Accord Appliance come out to check out our dishwasher. While he couldn't fix the problem (he said parts needed to be ordered), he was putting the dishwasher back together and broke the latch on my dishwasher. When I asked him about fixing it, he said he would when he came back and I could use tape to hold my dishwasher in place. Fast forward to three weeks later, not only did my home warranty say the part needing to be replaced was not covered due to negligence, but the guy from Accord Appliance denied that he broke the latch. I do not recommend Accord Appliance due to a lack of integrity and poor work ethics. read more

I would give them negative stars if possible. I was reffered to them by my home warranty company, American Home Shield. Accord appliance was sent out to my home over 5 times in less then 1 year to fix the same built in microwave!! Every time they fixed it it would just go bad after a month or 2. You would of thought Accord would have just sent American Home Shield a request for a new microwave but Accord appliance kept insisting to repair it. I came to find out later Accord Appliance was submitting repair invoices to American Homeshield through there automated system just under the $$ amount that would be required them to get an actual person authorization from American Home Shield. What a shady company Accord Appliance is!! They are working the system against both the homeowner and American home Shield just to get our $$$$! Is wasnt until i called American Home Shield authroizations departement that they discovered what was going on. Even the representative from American shield said "With $$$ amount of repair invoices we have paid them we could of gotten you 3 new Microwaves by now". Needless to say American home Shield authorized me a new microwave through Sears appliances and i got my new microwave and have had no issues since! Please avoid this company at all costs!! They came out to my house last Tuesday for a warranty issue with GE, the tech was Peter. I called to speak with the manager today, twice, and she wasn't available. I spoke with the girl that answered the phone, Very rude, wound up hanging up on me. The report that they sent to GE was a total lie, Peter read me the report and I was happy with it and he said the office takes care of writing it up to send it to GE. Negative stars! Worst and most dishonest company we've had the displeasure to allow inside our home. This was a 2nd opinion appliance repair sent out by AHS to diagnose our Samsung front load washer. The first technician said the machine failure was due to rocks. The 2nd technician from Accord could not fit behind our machine, dented our dryer upon moving the washer then proceeded to tell us it couldn't be rocks put in the drum because he would have seen dents in the drum. Therefore, he believes it was machine failure that caused the hole in the drum and pump failure but is not sure what caused it. Needless to say his report said that our machine was apart when he arrived at our home which was a complete and total lie! AHS denied our claim based on not normal wear and tear which is fine but why lie? Why can't an appliance company diagnose a problem? Well I did after exhaustive research. It is what is called "pot metal" and Samsung had a class action lawsuit about the flange shaft assembly substandard part that was installed in their SilverCare machines. You would think an appliance company who does nothing but fix appliances would know about this longstanding issue and know what pot metal is and how damaging it is to appliances. However, all Accord was concerned about was how to write up a report favorable to AHS so they could keep their account. There was absolutely no concern for two seniors who just wanted their issue diagnosed whether or not it would be covered. After four technician visits sent by AHS and a bogus 2nd opinion by Accord, I ended up diagnosing the problem myself after 1 month of nothing but a big headache, laundromats and dishonest companies. What goes around comes around. I will never allow Accord appliance to set foot into my home ever again. You would be smart to do the same simply because of the fact that they could not diagnose a common problem with Samsung machines and secondly, they put the needs of themselves and the insurance company before the consumer. They had to come out to my house 4 times and still couldn't fix our dishwasher. The repair guy was a creep and made my wife feel uncomfortable and they told me they wouldn't be able to send anyone else out. After the 3rd failed try to fix it, he said he would put in a recommendation that we need a new dishwasher because " he doesn't now what else it could be" Then turned around and and told Accord Appliance that there was nothing wrong and they closed the case. I had to re open it they sent a new person who couldn't fix it either. Then they made something up that wasn't an issue with the dishwasher at all and got closed again!!! So my appliance warranty company has scheduled this company to fix my washer and now my dryer. Over the last 4 years this company has been scheduled two or three times. They have not shown up once. We end up waiting around all day trying to get a hold of them on the phone to no avail. They never answer their phones and when they do the customer service is incredibly rude. They once scheduled my appointment on a holiday and even though i pointed out that that day was a holiday they said they would be there. Guess what they never showed up. Shocking I know. I purchased an LG gas stove from Costco in October and needed to have the temperatures in my ovens adjusted. Costco arranged for this company to service my ovens. Their response time is very slow and the service poor. A tech came out in early December and took readings but said he had to go back to the office to review them and would get back to me. Never heard a word. Called Costco two weeks ago, and even though they have contacted Accord to call me to schedule another service call, I have not heard from them. Do not use this company! They cannot provide the service you would expect from a business that represents LG and Costco. AA came out on a First American Home warranty call for a built in refrigerator that was not cooling. Tech says he put in a new thermostat but did not leave old part or even fill out a complete work order showing he did anything. The refrigerator still does not cool so had to schedule another appointment for more sub par service. Read and believe all the bad reviews. They have a D+ BBB rating. The light fixture in my oven kicked the bucket so I was referred to Accord through my home warranty company. Accord called me within an hour to schedule my appointment and sent Peter out to help me the same day. He was super nice and knowledgeable and although he had to order a new light fixture, he got it quickly and fixed it perfectly and quickly. I have had a few things go wrong with my house and appliances and out of all the companies that have come to my home to fix these issues, Accord has been the best. My warranty company assigned accord appliance as the company to do repairs. After waiting 6 hours to be contacted, I had to call them. They came out after about a week, technician was very polite, then after waiting another week for parts, I tried contacting them,only to hang up after 30 minutes on hold. Before I was even able to speak directly with anybody! I know this virus thing has backed things up, but this is just shit for customer service. Here comes kicker, went on website to check status of service only to find out my warranty place declined to pay for part. When did this happen, who knows because NO one from accord reached out to tell me. It could have been a week ago, for all I know. I could have found another solution for my problem, but the shit show of customer service from accord did not allow me to do this. If I could give them a negative star I would have. If possible DO NOT USE THIS place if you want to be advised on, 1. If they are even coming out. 2 if parts are ordered 3 if parts were authorized 4 if anyone even reaches out to let you know status of JOB. DO NOT let your home insurance use this company! They were sent out to check on a leaking washer and told us there was 1 part that needed to be replaced and it would be done in 2 weeks. We later found out that the technician lied to the insurance company and stated the damage was due to a "rodent infestation" but never mentioned this to us. Upon our inspection of the garage, we found no rodents or signs of rodents. We had a third party company come take a look and they stated that there was in fact NO rodents and it could be fixed the next day. Accord Appliances clearly has ethical issues and should not be trusted in your home. read more

Accord Appliance is a horrid company - their customer services is unprofessional. They were asked to come and fix my refrigerator which the technician showed up said he had to order a part. the part came in the next day and they could not come back to install until two weeks later. After calling American Home Shield twice sharing that it is unacceptable to not to have a refrigerator for two weeks they claimed it was nothing they could do and that if I cancelled I would not get my money back. Not sure American Home Shield is worth the money when they hire companies that are not worth their business. We will certainly reevaluate if it is worth the hassle. I know am forced to call GE Profile and pay a lot more money but at least I will have my refrigerator. I agree with the other complaints that AHS does not hold their contracting companies accountable. read more

Accord appliance was at my house twice to fix a 12 year old washing machine that had a broken suspension spring. Easy fix, so I thought... They ended up not being able to fix the washing machine correctly and couldn't figure out how to fix it at all. So they lied to American Home Shield and said I must have "abused the washing machine by overloading it". Not based on any facts, except they were not able to fix it. Upon asking them to explain their actions, the office hung up on me and the tech (which I treated with cold bottled water and had the machine all pulled out for him to work on), would not return my calls or texts. Very shady company and their tech is unable to fix simple, routine, appliance issues. I would give them no stars if I could. But to lie to my insurance company causing me to lose coverage on that item forever--that is simply unethical. I think the reviews of this company speak for themselves. read more

Jorge did it again! Spent over two hours fixing my complicated Samsung dishwasher, He had to call tech-support for Samsung two times, and continued his persistent troubleshooting methods, and got it! And he gave me some tips as to how to keep my dishwasher running, how to load it, what not to put in there, rinsing dishes, etc. - excellent advice that will definitely save me money in the future. I also appreciate how he asked for a couple of towels to set his tools on, and clean up any water - I think my floor is cleaner now than before he came. :). read more
