Had to write about my experience with Accord Appliance. I have had repairmen come to our home from other companies; not a pleasant experience. My husband actually had to call to have the last repairman to return to install parts of our dryer that he forgot to install. Not talking a screw or bolt, but a 22" disc, LOL! I was nervous when I had to call to get my dryer repaired & my insurance company American Homeshield uses Accord Appliance. I was pleasantly surprised. I wish I could give them "no stars".. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The were called by my home warranty company. After enticing us to perform an "online video diagnostic", they took our 75.00 appointment fee and reported to the warranty company the unit was "intentionally damaged". This claim is preposterous. Why would we intentionally damage a brand new LG appliance. They just wanted the appointment fee and choose not to fix anything. read more

Terrible service and follow-up. They are contractoer of First American Home Warranty. Accord was contracted to fix our dishwasher in mid October. They came out to fix non-working pump and did not test after install. When we returned in mid November we ran the dishwasher which flooded our floor due to not draining. We called then back. They looked at the dishwasher again, left us a note that they would have to order parts on 11/11. They never came back to replace the part and they are not returning our calls. This company is a scam. The technician came out to 'look' at our drier and told me that they need to find a part for it and will contact me after he gets back to his shop. I never heard back and when I called to follow up, I was told that because the drier was not plugged in so the technician couldn't do his check. #WTF read more

They were recommended by First American Home Warranty...however, they have terrible customer service over the phone, they changed our scheduled appt and claimed we did it (basically called me a liar), they then showed up on a different day than scheduled, and they didn't resolve our non-working ice maker issue. read more

If I could give a negative star I would. If you cannot fix my appliance then a good business would let us know. Instead they kept my microwave for over a month and only gave excuses. It was finally returned but with basically no apology. We waited during appointment windows only to be told 2 hours after via text that the technician couldn't make it? They also do not answer the phone very regularly or at all. This was not our first awful experience but I hung in there stupidly. I had to go to the home warranty company to reach them. Accord Appliance is the worst company for appliance repair. My home warranty company AHS sent out Accord Appliance to fix my refrigerator. After so many times and installing so many parts, it is still broken. I waited over a month for them to get the parts and install it. The tech was so rude to my wife and won't even tell his name. I would never recommend them to anyone. These people have no manners how to talk to customer. The repair person spilled the milk in fridge, we gave him the paper towel to wipe off. When throwing the paper towel in trash can, he broke the lid of trash can. Their repairman are complete bozos. Only the AHS warranty company uses them because they are cheap or something. They came to fix a broken part in my exhaust vent in my kitchen. They ended up breaking the housing for the controls so the controls for the lights and fan just hang there and of course they just give me the run around. Horrible company. Horrendous customer service! Very long story, but the bottom line is, Jerry (who I believe is the owner), has no interest in helping customers when things go wrong. He sits in the background when you're on the phone and relays messages to the receptionists, who are then expected to tell the customer. Apparently he is far too busy, or in his minuscule mind, far too superior, to actually talk to the people who keep his business afloat. He, nor Natasha, have any regard for good, honest, ethical service. Even his technicians speak poorly of him. Stay away from this company...they are not in it for customer satisfaction at all. Worst company I have ever used. American home shield had them come out to fix my range and fridge. They have the worst customer service, rarely answer their phone. I asked to talk to a manager and of course he never called me back. They have came out 3 times and each time they said we need to get a 2nd opinion and didn't do anything. The worst experience I have ever head if you read their reviews everything you read there is accurate. This company sends workers that don't work for them, they don't even know who they are....that's very very bad. The guy who came to my house drove-in in a beat up old car ( not a company car) and he looked everything but a technician not crisp at all. The first words that came out of his mouth was "I don't work for accord" He was so rude he spent the whole five minutes he was in my house trashing America Home Shield saying "they're not going to cover your top they are a very cheap company" He did not check or even try to turn on the stove and when I said can you please at least turn it on so you know that the burners are not working his response was "you do it yourself and if you want me to leave I will go right now that's why I am my own boss and I don't work for this company" He only took two pictures and left the house.... of course my claim was denied.. this was such a horrible experience it was so bad that America Home Shield refunded me my $75 for the visit. Although I was able to get a service person fairly quickly ( gas leak), there was no follow up until I finally called back. I was told one week and now it's 21/2 weeks. When I asked why it's taking so long she said I was in a "queue". Communication between technician vs scheduling not good. Another week and maybe my dryer will be functioning again. read more

Mike, whose cell phone number is blocked, called and was completely rude, and demanded to know personal information about myself. I was shocked, and asked that I hope you aren't being sarcastic or rude. He quickly snapped back at me and persisted to be angry. I have never had a customer service interaction this bad with such hate and malice towards me. He did not get near my door. I was not going to allow, a domineering boy to go inside my home. I was not going to spend any of my hard worked money for this company! Mike had to wait for me to get to my door and he started to leave. I ran out and got his attention, he then, stopped looked at his rear view mirror....and drove off. I waited two weeks for this service. This is horrific customer service! I do not like leaving bad reviews but this time it needs to be said, through my home warranty with Lowes regarding my Ice maker not working. They put me in touch with Accord someone called to schedule my appt no problem. The tech came barely a word came out his mouth, (like pulling teeth) he came looked at my ice maker and said it needs to be replaced all 5mins what that visit. Accord called to schedule another appt cause the part came in. Same tech came, my experience a tech calls to say they are the way, "no call". How did I know he was here, I work from home so when I got up to stretch my legs and look outside, tech was there, I looked at my phone thinking I missed a call, nope not the case. So, I stood at my front door for 5 minutes waiting for him to come nothing another 5 mins went by and now he comes out, still barely a word. Prior to this I told their dispatcher that I have to leave at 3pm to get my son, dispatcher said they advise the tech. Tech came at 240-245p. I am thinking should not be long, well he tinkered in the refrigerator then he went to sit in his car (maybe make a phone call, idk). He comes I tell him I have to go get my son and that can u wait in the car, he's response " Oh you need me to leave and then ask how long will I be I told him at least 20 mins, he said I am almost done, not the case, I had to scramble to have my son picked up by someone else, (pissed). After an hour he tells me that he could not fix due the refrigerator not being defrosted I said what "No one told me to that the refrigerator had to be defrosted, he said I know and that a Manager would call me, I called them and shocking no manager was available to speak, I requested a call back then dispatched stated that the next appt will not be till May 4th this is a whole month with my ice maker, the soonest appt cause apparently they have to send out a senior tech. I had bad customer service but this is all time wth with this company. Not happy not even a little bit. read more

Repairman comes out to fix lights that don't work in our oven/microwave combo. He says he needs to order a transformer. He comes back a week later and fixes the lights. Now, the entire touch board does not work. He had to hit the breaker till he gets back because microwave wont stop beeping. I think he shorted something out to cause the new problem. Now I have no microwave or oven till he returns with the new part. I have to use this company through our home warranty. I've had Stephen come out in the past, and he is great. Ask for him if you need to use this company. read more

We made an appointment for microwave repair. We asked to be toward the end of the 12-6 window so we could make sure we were home from work AND we asked for a courtesy call 30min before arrival so we could let the tech into our community gate. We never got a call, just found a business card on our front door with no name or time they came. We called customer service. ASHLEY should not be in customer service!!!! After my husband waited on hold for 25min, she stated that the tech came to our house at 2 and they "normally" just leave a card. She stated the account was noted to come later and call before, but when asked why this wasn't done she proceeded to provide nothing more than excuses for her tech. She argued with my husband and continued to give my husband the "Run-around" even when asked to speak with a manager. She stated they "don't have managers" then "her manager wasn't there." She told my husband he'd have to try and call and reach the manager. When asked her name she gave her first name, but when asked for her last name, she ACTUALLY hung up on my husband!!!! I called back and immediately asked to speak with a manager. She stated "as I told your husband" very rudely, my manager will call you back. She never told my husband that AND I told her I didn't appreciate her attitude and she hung up on me!!!!!! We're contacting our insurance and filing a complaint that they'd even recommend such a company. Horrible company. I believe the only reason that they stay is business is that people are being forced to use them because of their homeowners warranty company. I have been with American Home Warranty Company for the past 5 years and am now canceling my coverage primarily due to the poor service I received from Accord Appliance. Complete trash of a company!!!! They have no idea what their doing! Never able to fix any issues I have with my appliances or washing machine! They have not shown up for 3 scheduled appointments - after we waited around for them all day. Left wondering if they they even have the ability to actually finish a simple job. IF THERE WAS A NEGATIVE STAR THEY WOULD HAVE MILLIONS. Save yourself the headache with using this company. My dishwasher has been broken for for a couple of months they came and serviced my dishwasher within days of it stopped working only to tell me it was a plumbing issue. I called a plumber and they said nope your dishwasher is not working it is in fact the dishwaser. 2 more service appointments because apparently the first one is not knowledgeable enough they need a skilled tech to come out. When I called 1 week after last visit they left no notes on the call. Called back several weeks later and they said they cant locate the part to order. no eta, sorry cant help try to call GE and find out what's wrong they said. If I could give negative stars I would. We have been without a refrigerator for 4 weeks now. I have never experienced as horrible customer service as I have with Accord. We went through our home warranty to fix our refrigerator and The first visit they Said my refrigerator was out of Freon but the guy didn't have the attachment on his truck but that he tested my compressor and it was not bad. They then came out a week later, and after a couple minutes said your compressor is bad that they would have to order it and be back in a week or so. I was not home but my adult son was, so when he called to tell me when the technician said I asked to speak to the tech who in turn hung up on me and then slammed my door as he left. We tried to have our home warranty company send a different repair shop but they said they wanted to give Accord one more try to make things better. The next appointment that was made was for a week and half later, I took time off of work to be home for the repair window (12-5) and they never showed up!!! I wish I would have read all of the horrible reviews before this and requested to not have this company come out from the very beginning!! read more

Came out to fix an appliance. Did not have the parts. So, they came back a week later with a new part. No luck - they said that they need another part. Waited a week to get a follow up appointment. No call back. Tried calling them three times. No answer and if you push 2 to get the voicemail, the box is full. Just terrible. So I was forced by my home warranty company to use this company. I tried to ask them to use a different company, but they would not allow it. I started the process with American Home Shield on 12-14-20 and got an appointment for Accord to come on 12-17-20. So far so good. The technician (RAJ) that came was nice and I have no complaints about the initial diagnosis call. He arrived within the window they said he would and he was quick with his work. This is where things started to go downhill. I first called on 12-29-20 to see what the status of my repair was. On their automated attendant it states you can go to their website to check. I kept that in mind, as I was already on the phone. They informed me that they were waiting on one part. The hopper to hold the ice. A part that is designed to be removable as a feature to put on your table to provide ice to others. All the other parts were in their warehouse ready to go. But they give me an expected date of 1-8-21 for the part and state they have been slow to get some parts due to covid. I go to their website on 1-8-21 to check the status of my order and it states: "The status of your order is: We are preparing your order; please try back later." Even now as they were supposed to come to my house today between 8 AM and Noon, it still says that is the status of my order. I call again and they give me a new date for the part. I call 1-16-21, 1-19-21 and 1-23-21 each being the following date the part is expected. On the 1-19-21 call I ask if they are able to swap all the other parts and when the ice hopper comes in, I can pick it up from them. They stated they cannot do this as it is not allowed by the home warranty company. Fine. They did give me the part number and I considered purchasing it on my own, but had no way of getting $175 reimbursed if I had. On the 1-23-21 call I ask to have a manager call me back as they were not there on Saturday's. Odd no supervisory personnel would be working on a Saturday as I imagine a lot of their business probably occurs on the weekend since they need the homeowner home for the service calls. The girl that answered the phone said she noted my account and messaged the manager. I never got a call. I call again on 2-12-21 to check the status again (be ready to spend at least 5 minutes to talk to a person) and to my amazement the part was in and they were ready to come install everything. I didn't ask when the parts came in, but highly doubted I happened to call the very day they came in. I can only wonder how long I would have waited to get a repair appointment if I had not called again. They scheduled the appointment for today between 8 AM and Noon. Fantastic!!!! I won't have to buy ice to put into my freezer any longer. This morning at 8:39 AM I get a text message the technician is on his way to my house. Outstanding, or so I thought. My wife called me at 12:25 PM and asked if I had any new updates from them. I was surprised because Temecula and Lake Elsinore are in the worst traffic about 30 minutes apart. So I call them. So the woman who answered said she contacted the technician, but he did not respond. She sends me a text message while on the phone with me stating once he does respond, she will send me his ETA. This is at 12:33 PM. I get no response and call back at 1:47 PM as well as text message while I was on hold. While on hold I receive a text message that the technician had a mix up with parts but would be at my house today. Then the same woman that was texting me comes on the phone. She has no more details about the parts mix up, but promises they would be at my house before 6 PM today, and that if she got any updates she would text me. I told her I had very little faith that would happen. At 5:22 PM today I try to call the office again as I have not heard any updates and the office is closed. It is now after 6 PM and nobody has come to my house. I have no doubt I will have to call them again tomorrow to see what happened and when I may be able to get my repair actually completed. So I will update this review once I have my repair completed. I suspect the technicians are good and at the mercy of their horribly managed business and admin staff in the office. UPDATE: I received no information or call from Accord Appliance today 2-18-21, the day after my missed scheduled appointment. Tony on the phone stated the technician forgot a part and did not have it with him and would not be back into the warehouse until Monday to pick it up. I asked to speak to a manager and he stated they were all conveniently busy and I could email them. We will see if they show up for the new appointment on 2-22-21 between 8AM and Noon. read more

Please DO NOT CALL this business ACCORD APPLIANCES in Temecula. They scheduled an appointment on Saturday between 8-12. At 12:15 I called the office to see what was going on and was told the technician was running late. Notice I called them!!!! At 4:30 I called the office again and got a recording they closed at 3:00. I never received a call from either the office or the technician that they were not coming. They left me hanging all day waiting for them to show up and fix my refrigerator and they were a no show!!! In the meantime I have no refrigerator for over 2 weeks!!! So unprofessional and rude!!!! read more

Technician Dmitriy very rude & dismissive. Wouldnt give us a receipt & wouldnt show us the part he said he replaced. This was a referral from the home warranty & the technician was beyond rude both times. While we were trying to talk to him, he dismissed us & got in his car & left. This is my Warranty's "preferred" company and after waiting a week for an appointment, he spent 1 minute looking at my broken washer, left me a blank receipt and then reported it broke due to overloading. Since there was a sheet in the wash - still sitting in there when he came out - clearly not overloaded. It's a scam so they don't have to cover the claim. I would not even rate this company, when the guy came out and figured out what the problem was he was very mad because the repair would be time consuming. I have American Home Shield and he lied about what the problem was so they would not pay for the repair. This company is absolutely horrible my home warranty company sent them out to fix my oven and my microwave my microwave has not worked in six months this company has been out three times and each time closes out the claim but never fixes my microwave this last timeThey came out for my oven told me that they could not finish repairing it because it needed a fan and seen it was a double oven they needed another guy there to help him he would be out in 2 to 3 weeks because that's how long it would take to get the part due to Covid well it's been one month I just called she told me in the office very rudely that their repair guy said it was fixed and I still can't use my oven nor my microwave now having to wait on hold for a nether claim with my home warranty company this is how they try to make extra money because I have haveOf $75 each time I'm not going to pay that because these people are a bunch of thieves I cannot suggest this company is horrible and their repair guys have no idea what they are doing.
