Technician came out 2/14/2020 to look at my dishwasher; first off I asked Chris the technician to put on booties I supplied and he had an attitude from that moment on and unfortunately for me I was using insurance through American Home Shield so he left my service order blank and come to find out Chris wrote on the report to AHS all the buzz words to get my claim denied, but to my face told me that either they would approve a part or replace the dishwasher; Chris was there for 8 mins total and it cost me $125 for nothing because of Chris the claim was denied because he told AHM there was broken glass in my dishwasher which was a lie!!!! At this point will never use Accord Appliance and most likely cancel my so called insurance with American Home Shield. read more

This Company was contracted by American Home Shield to come out to repair my dishwasher. Doug was very arrogant and condescending. He took 3 parts off my dishwasher and flooded my disgwasher with black dirty water. Then said it was a dish rack now! I would never put my dishes in there left that way. AHS offered to send another company out but that other compsny would not touch it because they did not want to go behind what Doug left. Needless to say after 2 months my washer still is taken apart with the same dirty black mess. Accord Appliance has lied to AHS and states that they cleaned up the mess. However, we all have pictures (both companies and myself). American Home Shield and Accord Appliance has taken me round and round and Accord Appliance refuses to be accountible. I would give them a minus..... Just looked them up on the Better Business and they have a C rating... Horrible complaints. They do not answer their phone you are put on hold for 20-30 minutes, then they text you with appointments, not even asking if it is OK... Tried to change appointments finally did but they came on the day I cancelled the appointment. They were suppose to come today, waited all day NO SHOW. Called at 12:30 and after being on hold for 20 minutes I was told I was next and they would be here in 30 minutes. 3:00 I called again after sitting on hold forever they said the tech would call me right back... 4:45 I called and again on hold forever and they said that the tech called me and I did not answer so they rescheduled me...Never even bothered to tell me when I was rescheduled for... I had my phone in my pocket and there is no call on it so the manager said they would call the tech and call me right back while the lady I talked to was laughing and laughing... She thought this was funny..5:15 called and they were closed. Manager never called back.. The only reason we used them is because we have the garbage American home warranty. Called them and asked them if they knew all the bad reviews this company has and that they have a bad BBB rating... She could not answer me... Meanwhile I have no oven now going on over a week. They tell you if you want to go on their web site and email them they will email you back... We have had American home shield for 10 years, this year our microwave stop working I called American home shield they send out Accord Appliance technician Joel immediately diagnose the problem and had to order the parts needed. I received a call from Accord appliance that the part was Ordered, within days I received a call to make an appointment for the technician to installing the parts . Within a few minutes the microwave was removed and Joel the technician had the microwave working. I am very satisfied with Accord appliances and their staffs. read more

DO NOT USE ACCORD APPLIANCE EVER!!!!! If there was an option for zero stars it would be 0 stars. 6hr window. Tech arrived 30min before window began and never called and said they were on there way like American Home shield (AHS) said. He called me when he was at my front door. Why wouldn't he just use the doorbell. He comes in my home and explains to my son what's wrong and that he would need to order the part. He leaves the refrigerator connected and says that it should start working but that eventually without the sensor he needs to replace it will stop working again. It never started working. He says that we will get a phone call when the part comes in 3-5 days. It's been 5 days so I call Accord appliance wait for more than 20min and the person tells me that the tech said the refrigerator was unplugged and that he couldn't diagnose it. WHAT? Guy over the phone tells me that I have to call AHS and ask them to put in another order so they can diagnose my refrigerator again. He also proceeds to tell me that the tech carries the sensors for the type of refrigerator we have and that's why he didn't order them. So why did the tech leave without repairing the fridge? Now I have to wait for them to call me and I will need to set up an appointment again. This process will delay the repair of my fridge days. Unacceptable and unsatisfactory customer service. Their lack of concern or action to fix the problem says a lot about the integrity of this company. I am currently on the line begging AHS to send a different company because if there is a chance that the same tech shows up to my home I will not allow him to step in my house. Update 8/10/17 AHS sent Accord an email and request to set up another appt to diagnose and repair my fridge if possible. We called Accord to try and schedule an appt. they said they hadn't received the request from AHS and that they would call us back in 1hr. They didn't call back. My wife called back and they said they had no record of us calling earlier and that they did have the request from AHS. The soonest they can set up the appt was today. They gave me a window between 12pm and 6pm. My wife called them today to make sure someone was being dispatched to perform the repair service and they didn't have anyone scheduled to come to our home. Keep in mind that my refrigerator has not been working since 7/29/17. This doesn't surprise me since I am convinced that this company only survives off of the clients forced to use them through warranty companies. They came out and diagnosed the fridge. They said they would follow up with the warranty company to order the parts. We called back the next day and they set up an appt. Update 8/16/17 They set up an appt. for today. At first they gave us a window of 8am-6pm My wife called back and told them that we needed a shorter window of time. They agreed and said that they would come between 8am-noon. They called us yesterday in the afternoon to remind us of the appt. This morning they just called and told us they had to reschedule for 8/21/17. They didn't give me a time or a reason. They just told us they had to reschedule. We have been without a working refrigerator for nearly 3 weeks and this company is now intentionally delaying the repair. They claimed to have sent me a message stating that my call had been moved to next THURSDAY. I have no record of that message. What I received was a text message stating the repair person would be there during the previously scheduled time. The somewhat-flustered customer service rep then said the technician would be here this morning. I double-checked this morning and the CSR informed me "he's running a little late but he will be there." It is over five hours since I last checked with Accord. Not only is he still not here, but Accord's business office shuts down at 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays. LIE, LIE, LIE. This Company is horrible. We have been waiting for a repair that was initiated through our Home Warranty Program since April 2017. Unfortunately the very nice repairmen have not been able to fix the problem. That is the underlying problem, but the biggest problem is the communication with Accord Appliance. We CANNOT get through over the business line. When our Home Warranty Company tries to get through, they get the same issue. I can't afford to wait on hold for hours to talk to some idiot who does not follow up! Our Home Warranty Company gave us the cell number of the owner "Jerry". My husband called and spoke with Jerry and we figured out why the service is so horrible. Jerry did not care why my husband was calling, said he did not want his name or phone number for a call back. He said "Don't ever call me on this line again. I don't know what is going on with your situation, I am not at the office. Call the regular line". My husband told him that we have tried to call the regular line and get no response. Jerry then repeated "Don't ever call this line again, I told (Home Warranty Program) not to ever give this phone number out". I was forced to use Accord thru my home warrantee insurance. We are going on 4 weeks now to simply replace the electric motor in my ice dispenser. They came once to diagnose the problem and order a replacement part. Fair enough. After that, they never call back to schedule the service. We have to keep calling them and sit on hold for 1/2 hour each time to schedule service. When they ordered the part, it was broken, then it was wrong one, then their servers went down and they are delayed. Tech came out and told me he new the exact part that needed to be replaced. He said it just had to be approved by the insurance company and he would be back. Then he told American Home Shield that he was unable to diagnose the problem because it was obstructed and could not get to it. I now know that the excuse he gave me is something they say to customers all the time. They tell the home-owner one thing and submit something different to the home warranty company. Accord Appliance was sent to my home to fix my dishwasher; instead of fixing it, they caused a leak. I was told that they will not assume responsibility for the damaged caused by the leak. The 2nd tech to visit my home acknowledged there was water & damage but could not find the leak. He determined that the washer did not work & states he would have to order parts which would take about three days. I looked with a flashlight for about a minute and watched the drips come down from the bottom. 1 minute - leak found. I called them back and was informed that the parts would take 8 Days and they couldn't come back to disconnect the dishwasher because "that would void my warranty." I told them I needed time to dry the area where water had soaked the cabinets, and was told a manager was going to call me back (Jerry). I have been told that Jerry was going to call me back 3X now, and it has not happened. This company should be out of business soon. They did not fix our issue, but only created a new one. They do not accept responsibility for their poor workmanship, and will not complete the job they have already been paid to do. read more

AHS sent them out. He came took a look and took photos. Said it looked like wear and tear and shouldn't have a problem. Surprise Surprise, AHS denied the claim saying the contractor said it was not from normal wear and tear. WHAAA??? If you see the photos or the items they defiantly look of wear and tear they are old. If i wanted a second opinion I will have to pay another $75.00. Tried calling Accord Appliance of course just kept ringing and then it just tells you to go to the website and leave a message and someone will contact you. So I have not received a return call or the paperwork I requested to see what the submitted to AHS. Looking at other reviews I see others are just about the same experience. So I can only be left that they are both a scam and they both need to be reported and reviewed. I guess $75.00 goes a long way for both companies. With AHS this is not my first disappointment of a service request submitted. So don't even waste your time with either company. This company is a joke! They schedule your appointments , then call and cancel. Then when they reschedule you they show up at a different time then they said they would arrive. Thank goodness I was off work or I would have missed the appointment. There was a strong pungent smell coming from my refrigerator. (Worldpool) Now take in mind other techs had been to my property and detected the odor too, but failed to document their report correctly to replace the unit. This one Accord Appliance tech had to come out and verify in order for the refrig to be replaced. The tech that came was unprofessional! He didn't even pull the refrigerator out from the wall to conduct an inspection. On top of that ! He had to contact the worldpool techs to give him direction how-to resolve my problem. Moreover, he tried to get me to sign off on work he had not completed. I'm accustomed to signing off on work completed . Wayyyy toooo much to write so bullet points are necessary. -we will start off by saying the only positive thing I can think of, the tec was quiet, did his thing, and wasn't rude or offensive as you will find is not the case with everyone -SCAM WARNING -if you have any questions regarding a problem on the phone they will repeat themselves over and over and talk over the top of you and then hang up -as soon as you have a problem you will be told, "you need to talk to first American you are no longer our customer" -they reported to our title company that there is "no mechanical error" with our unit while to our face the Tec repeatedly told us our unit needed to be replaced. -they blamed the malfunction on our water temperature and told us to run our water to warm it up before washing our dishes in the dishwasher (yes, seriously) -have been to my home 5 times -will not provide signed dated technician notes from each of our visits so we can match them with our own -failure to report any notes from their visits to First American - which we need in order to get our dishwasher replaced -they are the second company to come check on my brand new dishwasher that doesn't work -do not arrive in the window -do not call to let you know they are coming or how far away they are even though they state this is how they do things and it is requested -actually show up 45 min after the window without notice -we've lived in this home 11 months and have yet to have a working dishwasher -EVERY SINGLE TIME the tec leaves he says, "I'm going to recommend your unit for replacement, it can not be fixed" and then we call and .... we have to come out another time just to "check" something. -they actually replaced a part the technician from the previous company had already replaced -the woman who answers the phone is kind and understanding and tells you what you want to hear if there isn't an issue, however nothing happens -our dishwasher washes and doesn't dry, looks like you sprayed a fire hose inside when it's done. Accord actually told our Title company that there was no mechanical failure -we were actually told at one point that the service manager was going to come to our home and yet he didn't show up he sent the tec alone -never an apology for tardiness or lack of communication -they refused to tell the Title company that they couldn't fix it and recommend the unit for replacement. They were assigned to us for a home warranty repair on a property that we were selling in Southern California. We live in Northern California so they needed to coordinate with our agent for access. They sent us an automated text with a random appointment with a 6-hour window. I tried calling the number to reschedule and provide our agent's contact information, but no one answered. After several attempts and numerous hours on hold, I opted to leave them a message on their online portal and was promised that I would hear back from someone. I did not. Concerned, I contacted our home warranty company to see if they could get through to them. They also could not, but they assured me that they had sent them a message letting them know that they would need to contact our agent for access and that he needed a shorter window. Long story short, they called me when they were on their way and I had to scramble to get someone to go to the house as our agent was not available. They got there and did not do anything. They claimed everything was not under warranty, and it was! My agent told me that he had similar experiences with them in the past, that they come out and look for excuses not to repair things! Well, what a surprise, this company has 195 reviews and 1.25 stars. This is one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. While the repairman himself was nice enough (only was in our home for 5 minutes before saying he needed to order a part), the folks in "Customer Service" here need help. Psychological help. Specifically a woman named Dawn (as she yelled over me on the telephone that they record their phone calls, she spelled out her name for me), who I can only say is as close to psychotic as anyone I've dealt with by phone. This woman went from 0-1000 in about 3 seconds when I called for the THIRD time to follow up on where our part and repair was. I have a 2 year old, $2,500 GE Profile refrigerator with an ice maker that suddenly just stopped working and made a strange sound. Called Warrantech (through Pacific Sales), they referred me to this place, and everything went down from there. You wait on hold with Accord FOREVER. Each time it was at least 10+ minutes. When someone gets on the line, they generally sound angry and put out (Sheila is a notable exception). Accord couldn't get us in for 2 days, and gave me a 4-hour window to wait around for their tech. We live in a gated community, and with a new system in place, I messed up, and the gate turned the tech away. I immediately called Accord to get him back, but waited on hold for 13 minutes, and the tech would not come back. So, I had to wait for 2 more days (they couldn't get him back later that day, or the next). Again I sat around and waited for the guy for 4 hours. He was friendly enough, told us he was very familiar with the "faulty ice maker" and just needed to order a part. Said he'd be back probably the "middle of next week" after they got the part. I waited until Friday of that week, no call from them, so I called there. Waited for 20 minutes, got a man, he told me the part wasn't coming in until Monday, and then they would call me to schedule service. I asked him when the part was ordered, and he told me "the tech ordered it last Friday," and he even gave me the time of order. I asked if we could schedule an appointment for the tech to come back out, so that he could be here Tuesday. Nope, they "can't do that." Monday afternoon I tried to call Accord. I repeatedly held until it was after 5PM at which point I got their after hours recording. I left a message asking for an update. Tuesday, today, no return call. Called them around 1PM, got this charming "Dawn" who everyone has talked about, who honestly sounds like a hag that was pulled away from her cauldron to take the call, and she screeched at me that the part wasn't coming in until Friday. I asked why I was told it was coming in on Monday, and she told me to "SLOW DOWN" at which point I told her she needed to check her attitude, and as she literally screamed over me, not listening to a word I said. She shouted over me that the fault was Warrantech, and then she hung up on me. So, now I'm on the phone with Warrantech waiting for a supervisor. ** *Update: Held with Warrantech for 80 minutes as their supervisor dealt with Dawn, who--guess what?-- FAILED TO ORDER THE PART. Now Warrantech is working to expedite the service. So after yelling at me and hanging up on me, turned out this creature didn't even do her job. How is she employed???? Maybe 1% of the folks here get lucky with Accord, lucky for them, but this place takes the award for rotten service. I imagine they have all these contracts and feel like they are the only option in this valley. But when I called Warrantech, they were not pleased when I told them about the 1.25 stars on YELP, so keep reviewing, folks. And CALL YOUR WARRANTY company and let them know how it goes here. It's a free-market system, and they actually DO rely on the customer's satisfaction--even though they don't act like it. **Be aware that this company also shuts off it's phones at 5:05PM, even if you are in the middle of a phone conversation, and I also do want to comment that Sheila, who also answers the phone is very nice and seems to try to make things right. Unfortunately Dawn MUST be an owner or something, because as you can see by all the negative reviews, this woman feels like she doesn't need yours, or anyone else's, business. The good reviews likely come from people dealing with people other than Jerry or Dawn, who appear to be the owners. ***Further update: We were scheduled for service last Friday, we called in the AM to get a time, were told that although the part was there, and although THEY had called ME to make an appointment, this repair (of an icemaker fan) required a "skilled technician" and none were available. We ended up having to wait until Monday with a 6-hour window of 12-6. Also, someone named Jane decided to send me a belligerent message here through YELP. I wish I had room to post it. read more

They then stated that they would just have to replace it, but they told my home warranty provider that my oven was misused and abused. That is absolutely ridiculous. After they installed the parts the dishwasher stopped working. I called back this morning to inform them that the tech had not left the dishwasher in working order. They informed me I had to submit another claim through my home insurance company. I told them that was ridiculous since he had been there less than 24 hours ago. I asked to speak to a supervisor and here is the kicker, they will not put a supervisor on the phone. I told him that was the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard. But they offered to send an email to the supervisor so that person can somehow reach back out to me. The first tech informed me it was my responsibity to move the stacked washer/dryer unit downstairs for repair and that it should be replaced. Somehow Accord, nor Warranty co. received that information and it was listed as fixed. A tech from Accord Appliances who was sent by Amercan Home Shield Warranty came to our home on 4/29/2019 who couldn't duplicate the problem and didn't believe us. He unplugged the fridge and plugged it back in again which he said would reset it and fix the problem. As soon as he left it started leaking again and I emailed him pictures of the water and ice. He came back 5/7/2019 and took the icemaker apart and reconnected it. It started leaking again so he finally agreed to order a part. It's now 5/22/19 almost a full month since his first visit and we have not heard from them. When we called them they said "waiting for a part" which was supposed to be in a week ago. I told him that what he said two weeks ago and he said they never gave him the part. This happened two more times, where the technician came out with no parts and left. Today the technician came out again and said they need to replace the compressor but he does not know why the company is not ordering the part. He went on to say this is a common issue with the company and they have no management. He said he gets a text to go to an address. We called the company with the technician here and they said 3 different people came out to check the refrigerator and the tech corrected her and said it was him everytime. He sent his report to Accord Appliance while he was here and left. I called them a few hours later to get a status and they said they need the technician report. I told them the technician already sent it while he was here and she said he did not. They now say they need to send another technician out to reinspect the unit. Not surprised when I went online to find a crappy rating for Accord appliance repair. If they show up for your home warranty work, beware. The tech that showed up at my house for a washer repair told me that he was submitting a work order for a tub seal replacement but instead told them the washer was rat infested. We found out when we called to find out when they were repairing it. Of course they turned us down for repair. We called the home warranty company back and requested another company come by and inspect. The new company observed No Signs of rat infestation at all and said the bearing and seal were the problem. This is hands down the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The staff does not care so don't bother calling them for any help. The technician will not show up during the scheduled time. The first appointment we had he was supposed to show between 8-10. Several hours past this time I called numerous times asking for an update. Each time a woman answered acting confused and frankly like she was on something. Long pauses and lots of slurred speech. And it was always "he's 20 minutes away." Then another hour would pass. When he finally showed he "fixed" my microwave only for it to break again a week later. Another appointment set for today and guess what? HE NEVER SHOWED. This time when I called the woman asked me if I was home at the scheduled time-uh, I've been home ALL DAY. She put me on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up on me. When I called back she put me on hold AGAIN and hung up on me AGAIN just past 5PM when they close. So now no way to get ahold of them until tomorrow. Absolutely unbelievable. Why would any home warranty company continue to contract with Accord? It's bad. Really, really bad. read more

Well! After seeing the reviews I can see why they had a I don't care attitude about your bad reviews on yelp!!!! Ha ha. Joke is on me. They came out to "repair" my machine, 4 loads later, same problem. Rescheduled to a week from the date of malfunction, got a call on the day of my week later appointment to be told, the tech has to reschedule to tomorrow midmorning. So after being yelled at because I wasn't understanding as to why they would call last minute to reschedule and telling them they were not providing good cust service, I was hung up on. Thank you Accord Appliance for pushing me to buying a new machine. I won't put another dime or put up with more crappy attitude from you guys to fix my machine. STAY AWAY!!! Even if your warranty company tries to stick you with them, once they come out and you pay them the deductible there is no getting it back. I'll count this as a lesson at the cost of what I would have rather spent on a steak. read more

Accord appliances makes their living doing home warranty repairs if your home warranty company sends Accord appliances to your home or tries to send Accord appliances to your home choose another vendor. Once you're home warranty or appliance warranty such as in my case GE appliances sent Accord appliances to My Home very unprofessional just unbelievable how unprofessional these people are number one they do not answer the phone they try to get you to go to their website and leave an email which they do not answer when they eventually get a technician to your house the technician is not properly trained has no idea how to test your appliance to properly diagnose a problem they guess at parts then quickly order the parts and leave your house with your broken appliance waiting weeks for the part to arrive then when they eventually come back to install it your appliance still does not work so they gas Saturday again and again and again after four or five visits to my home taking time off work I finally got these losers to admit they could not fix my dishwasher so GE finally gave in and replaced my dishwasher which I have to admit after months of putting up with bullshit they replaced my dishwasher with an upgrade after going through hell do not let Accord appliances into your home they are completely worthless and will not accomplish anything I told GE appliances they should go through the reviews and take Accord appliances off of their vendor list because I will never buy another GE appliance after this experience with Accord appliances absolutely unbelievably ridiculous read more

My wife and I are letting all of you know, this sub contractor sucks. I would not recommend anyone using them. My wife has taken time off from work 3 -4 times to be around the house for warranted repair work on our washer. We have a extended warranty contract through Assurant. You would think that with a contract like that, your needs would be met on a professional level. Accord has not shown up or has called at the last minute only to cancel or try to reschedule every time. Even with a 4 hour window of 8-12, everytime it's been some him-hum story. While I don't blame the employees I blame management. PULL YOUR HEADS OUT BEFORE YOU TANK! AND P.S. Bad bad bad co- DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME- 3 different appliances (microwave, fridge, dish washer) went out 2 times, with the same problem within 7 months they probably install used parts or something- very rude if you dare and call to reschedule or to complain- after they order the part, 2 weeks without an appliance, they want you to remove it and put it in your backyard so they can work on it !!!!! I finally found a good appliance repair company!! After having An Tech out, which is by far the worse company and technician I have ever met! Jorge, from Accord Appliance was prompt, friendly, KNOWLEDGEABLE, and he came prepared with tools to repair my dryer. Jorge knew what he was talking about! He fixed it and was out of my home quickly! Scheduling was by far better then I have experienced. They called me three times to schedule. I was working and not able to pick up the phone. Once I called back, I was giver an appt for the next day with a 4 hour window. Jorge was here in the first 30 mins of my window and called when he was 10 mins away. I work in customer service. And Jorge was exceptional! Very happy with Accord. I will be asking for them in the future when I have to call my Home Warranty plan again! And I will be requesting Jorge again.
