Accord Appliances was sent out to our house as a claim to American Home Shield. The technician arrived very late in the window we were given. The technician arrived without any identification, uniform or truck to tell us where he was from. We had 2 appliances that we had filled a claim for. Our oven and dishwasher. After maybe 10 minutes and a couple of photos, he was in and out of our home. He mentioned to us that AHS would consider our appliances "damaged". The letters we received​ from AHS from Accord were contradictory to what the technician told us. Point blank, he lies to the ​insurance company. We have since had a very thorough second opinion from a reputable company. Bottom line, when it comes to a home warranty, always dispute the first opinion. ZERO STARS!! The worst customer service I have ever received! It took a month for them to receive parts for my refrigerator, and one was the incorrect part. The ice maker was replaced, however still does not work, and now my refrigerator is not cooling (worked fine before they came). I called today at 8am to speak to a manager, was told they are not in yet. Requested a call back, called again at 10:39am, no managers are available today. I asked them to send a tech, to fix the "new" issue they created and the ice maker they replace yesterday. I was told my account is in review by a manager (thats not available) and I needed to call AHS (insurance). The receptionist told me it was impossible for my refrigerator to no longer be cooling after the ice maker was replaced. I requested call backs from a manager or a tech that might can help me, with no luck. This is the second time AHS has sent them the service request, and the second time I've had issues with the customer service and repairs. As of Aug 31, I still have not had a call back from them, and they have told AHS that they need to order the correct parts. The part that was ordered incorrectly in the first place is for a flex tray display, and has nothing to do with the ice maker. read more

If I could give 0 I would, this company lies and is so disorganized it is gross they are still a business. I was referred to them from American Home Shield and back in May 1st to fix my washer and I have yet to get resolution from them. The first technician who came out had one diagnosis and ordered parts. I made sure to call the following day to ensure the authorization had gone out to American Home Shield and it had not as they promised, plus no notes. Fine I give it a week call American Home Shield and still they had not received any information. My warranty calls them to get clarification and they state that first they need to send a second tech for diagnosis as they did not trust the first? and that to do that I had to give them clearance and move my washer outside! What? That did not happen when the first tech came out why would it happen with the second, also why did they not trust the diagnosis of the first tech? At this point I am peeved, of course it takes them 2 more weeks to come and do the second diagnosis and when the tech comes out states the parts that where ordered where wrong and he ordered different parts with an ASAP note to their processing desk to send the authorization form to American Home Shield. I got to see how he sent this to them electronically. So by now it is 3 weeks with me not having a washer and no close to resolution. I contact American Shield and they have not received the paperwork a week later they contact Accord and they straight out lie saying there was nothing sent from the technician. Now I am peeved with both American Shield for contracting subpar companies to give service and Accord for dishonesty. It is now more than a month and still no resolution. Horrid company. read more

So I'm going to start with the "positive" with regards to this company. They technicians they send out are very kind, friendly, outgoing and that's about it! I had this company service my washer because they contract with my Home Warranty company (AHS) and they've been out several times to fix my washer, which btw still doesn't work. The first time the technician said; "Oh these washers sometime get stuck and the computer needs to reset itself - so just unplug and plug the washer back and that will fix the problem". :o Why would I want to do this? I thought to myself.. But I remained positive and followed his instruction, which worked one time (for resetting the washer) but as soon as I put in a load and started the washer it was frozen again and the door locked; so, there I was back to square 1. The customer service is horrible, it took 2 weeks for them to come back to my home for the 2nd time. The customer service phone number leaves you on hold forever and then it asks that you leave a message and they won't reply. I had to constantly complain and make calls to my Home Warranty company so these people would get back to me. Finally, yesterday they came again and told my son that the washer was "clogged" and this is why it wasn't working. Last night I got home and again, the washer door is locked and everything is frozen, and nothing works. AGAIN, I called them and no answer, just the "leave a message" option. I also called my home warranty and they said they have emailed and left messages but I'm sure that nothing will happen for the next 2 weeks because that is exactly what happened last time. Meanwhile, I've had to hand-wash and go to the laundromat in order to keep my kids clothes and towels clean. I can't even start to explain how frustrated and disappointed I am at companies that manage to continue to do business in this matter. I would much rather them say "Sorry, we have no time to fix your appliance, call someone else"... That would be more ethical then to just leave someone hanging and obviously making the point of not caring. With this said, I am not sure anyone would want to have this company go out and help with a problem. read more

Refrigerator and dishwasher were limping along and then gave out on the 4th of July, yep... holiday with family over! On Monday following the holiday I was able to set up appointments for the appliances to be assessed. This week, July 28th & 31st, both are working again! I really wish I had noted the gentleman's name who helped with the dishwasher. He was so professional, quick, and polite. From his visit to check the issue on July 14th to the super fast and fantastically fixed service today, July 31st! I am so thankful that we were lucky to get such a professional on our dishwasher issue. I hope Accord lets him know how valuable and appreciated he is. I did get Roman's name for our refrigerator fix. We are very appreciative of having a working refrigerator/freezer. Roman's assessment of the issue was confident and quick. The replacement of the part was swift and friendly. Accord provided wonderful support over the phone when setting up the appointments and sent very polite and professional gentleman to the house for the repairs. We are so thankful for the seamless service and so happy to have our kitchen working! You don't know how important the conveniences of appliances are until you are without them. read more

On both service calls, he was efficient and knowledgeable and installed the parts in a timely manner. We have American Home Shield and we were assigned this company to fix our washing machine. Our washing machine was leaking and the drainage tray was almost filled. When the technician arrived, he looked at the washing machine and immediately diagnosed the problem as the leak coming from the bottom of the door, "Its a front load washer" do to an accumulation of hair and debris. He then proceeded with a paper to sign that the job was done. He didnt fix the problem or clean up the massive amount of water in the tray. When I asked him what to do about the water mess, he stated he doesn't deal with any secondary problems. He left without even trouble shooting the problem. After cleaning the bottom of the door and water mess, the washing machine still leaked. When we called the company to fix the issue, it was nearly impossible for them to come back out since they only come out M-F 9-5. This was after waiting a week and a half for them to initially come out. Once we finally got our second appointment, the technician was obviously annoyed for having to come back out and explained he had over 20 years of experience. Once we convinced him its still leaking, he stated it was a problem with something else. He said he would order the part and they would schedule an appointment to come back out. We never received a call for an apppintment but instead came home to card in the door, that we missed the technician. The only reason we stuck with this company is because we already paid our deposit and would lose it if we went with another company. Don't waste your time and money with Accord Appliance. read more

Worst company ever!!! Tec was suppose to give me a 30 minute heads up before coming to my house but didn't. Saw on my ring door bell and called the company to tell them I'll be there in 10 minutes and they left never calling me back. Call home shield and they set up another appt to have them come back with another 30 minute heads up but I didn't trust that so stayed home from work 8-12 the time frame they were suppose to come. At 11:45 I called accord and the rude lady who answered told me her text couldn't make it today but is coming Monday!! They did not call to let me know this but just no showed me and rescheduled without me approving this. Apparently we can just take off days from work. I requested service through my home warranty on May 13th, 2020. (American Home Shield they're awful, but whole other story) I received an E-mail the next day. The E-mail read that I would be receiving a call from Accord to set up a service appointment. I waited a couple days, after receiving no call. I called. The earliest they could come out was May 23. He was to fix the oven and the dryer. Oven was fixed, dryer not so much. i tried using it and it didn't work same as before no heat, except now it sounded like a freight train! I called Accord Appliance and they told me I need to call Home Shield. I called Home Shield waited hours (this is not an exaggeration) only to have the customer service person tell me that I had no choice but to use the same company because they had been assigned to my appliance and had already started the job. I called Accord and told them I had called Home Shield....they said their earliest appointment would be on June 24th! that was more than three weeks out. When he came out he could not repair it, he had to order a part. I called Accord to set up an appointment since it could be a while. They would NOT set up an appointment until the part was in. They said they would call me when that happened. THEY DID NOT! So I called. the part was there. they came today July 3rd. He showed up at my house said I'm here to fix the dryer. Went in my laundry room, closed the door he was here for 43 minutes. Did not say one word, except on the way out...."dryer is fixed, you have 2 months to call if somethings wrong" I was unable to ask, do or say anything! NO PAPER WORK! I walked into my laundry room and it was a disaster! He had moved the washer to get to the dryer and didn't move it back. It was blocking the door. He also left a tool and 6 screws ( he left 3 the last 2 times) so thats a total of 9! not sure whats holding the dryer together?I tried calling Accord to explain all this to them, the response was "the technician has not input the notes yet" I'm waiting for a call back from a supervisor. it has been almost 2 months and now I seriously don't know how long the dryer will hold! read more

Had to make two service calls for the same issue because they couldn't fix it the first time. It took three scheduled visits for the second service call and they never showed up in the 6 hour window they gave me, always late or cancelled at the end of waiting around for 6 hours. After waiting past their scheduled show up time, during one of the scheduled appointments, they had ordered the wrong part and left. Called the service line and asked to talk to the manager twice and he/she never called me. Poor customer service. read more

Accord Appliance is a SCAM and a FRAUD working in conjunction with American Home Shield to defraud customers. AHS sent out Accord Appl to assess and fix a microwave oven for not heating. Christopher come out and spent no more than 10 mins testing with a cup of water. His assessment on site was that the heating element is faulty, but because the microwave oven is old, it would be cheaper to install new microwave than replace the heating element. I called AHS a few days later, and was told that the claim was denied. According to AHS the report from Accord Appliance stated that the microwave caught on fire due to excessive grease, therefore warranty is denied due to customer negligence. I asked AHS for a copy of the report and was denied, but they asked me to take it up with Accord Appliance. I followed up with Accord Appliance and tried to reach Kaylani, Office Manager. Christopher didn't remove one screw and there are no signs of fire nor burnt odor. I asked Kaylani to provide the report and pictures, but was denied. After several calls back and forth between AHS and Accord Appliance, I realized this whole thing is a SCAM and I'm wasting my time. I would never buy home warranty. In fact, I suggest people to cancel their policies with AHS and avoid doing business with Accord Appliance. read more

We have this company through our Home Warranty Company. I have been dealing with an issue for months concerning our microwave. Accord is a terrible company that represents First American Warranty in not a good way. Our built in microware has not worked for months. We keep calling our warranty company that the issue is not resolved. Accord Appliance has come out 4 times and keeps reporting to them that there is nothing wrong with the microwave when clearly it does not work. When the tech has come out and says it doesn't work, he does not want to leave any paperwork stating that. Accord Appliance does dirty underhanded business. They had a technician come to my home to repair my washer. After only taking five minutes to check my washer, the technician stated the bearings were going out and the tub was warped, and he needed to get authorization from my home warrant company to repair. He then had me sign a blank repair form with nothing written down. Three (3) days later I was notified by my home warrant company that the technician had written my washer was damaged from overloading and voided the warranty. This technician never told me this information and led me to believe it was covered. How underhanded. be careful with Accord appliance read more

I called for a repair through american shield in May, the tech came out around 4pm when my appointment window was before 10am. And then he looks at the washer and dryer without opening it up and says that he has to order some parts. The parts were ordered on June 3rd and now is the 15th with no calls from accord appliance. I have requested call from a manager for several days to find the status yet no response. I called this morning and one Alison at accord told me the part is on back order whereas I was advised the the part was ordered and I should have my service repair done the week of 14th... really bad service. I just had Ulysses out to work on my front load Whirlpool Duet washer. It had 2 codes that were coming on and it would not advance to complete the cycle. Ulysses figured out what was wrong and that one of the many lines had a blockage in it. He got the washer to advance and now I can clean my laundry again and I do not have to wait another week to wait for any parts to come in. Thank You Ulysses!!! read more

If I could give negative stars I would! We have been trying for 3 plus weeks to get our refrigerator repaired by them through Whirlpool. Wow...the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I won't go into all the cluster of things that have gone wrong into great detail. But the major issues constantly are bad communication, lack of work ethic, changing of appointment times repeatedly, the appointment time windows (who can sit around between 12-6 on a weekday? ) and then finally when someone shows up, the lead time on that. When they came, they had to order parts. Well, those finally came in (that took over a week) and then getting ANOTHER appointment (another week) and then the guy couldn't take the panel off!!! Isn't that refrigerator repair 101, how to take off a panel?!?! Now the parts and my refrigerator sit in pieces in my kitchen! I need my fridge! !!! 3 days ago he said he'd be back in 2 days, now day 3, no call and trying to reach the office, yeah...forget about it. On top of that, the parts are USED. We spent $3100 on a refrigerator a year ago! This shouldn't even be an issue. Long story short, don't EVER use Accord Appliance and had I seen the reviews sooner, I would of asked Whirlpool to send someone else. Please save yourself the headache. It took three times to have them come out before I gave up and called my home warranty company and told them they need to find another company to come out and service my washing machine. I think without the referrals from warranty companies they would no doubt be out of business! If you can even get through (read other reviews), you might end up talking to Dawn. She is extremely rude. (Read other reviews about their office staff.) She should consider herself fortunate to have her job because I doubt with her condescending and unprofessional attitude she will be lucky to find another one. She must have some connection to someone in this company otherwise I can't imagine why any business would keep her unless they're not concerned about their business reputation and how she represents them. The service man arrived without tools, checked dishwasher and told us it was the computer chip that was broken ( it wasn't heating); otherwise it was fine. He stated it was covered under home warranty and would order part and be back on 2 to 3 days to fix it. He refused to fill out paperwork, then the warranty company refused repair because they were told by Accord that pump was broken because the dishwasher drained through the garbage disposal. This is how it is supposed to be installed and besides that, it is running fine. It just won't heat. Accord appliance has refused to answer or return calls. Please for your sake don't use them! Also I would suggest you don't get a home warranty from American Home Shield as they have companies like this do their repairs. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Worst service we have ever had. After a part went out on our fridge we were able to get them out (had to use because of warranty). They ended up bringing the wrong part. At first they were going to have their tech "make the piece work". We were told they would expedite & they would make it up to us since it had already taken so long & now we would have to wait again. We were told to call on the following Monday to schedule service. Then told the part didn't come in & had to call back on Tuesday. Call was made & receptionists were all rude to my husband. We were told they would not be out until a week & half later. This would make 3 weeks without a fridge. My husband was told they couldn't just reschedule others so we would have to wait. Husband kept calling to speak to Chris (the person who said he would make it up to us) & never was called back. Today we get our part fixed & we ask about Chris & are told that it's his day off. Terrible company. I went through my home warranty and they sent them out. Paid a $75 service call. My insurance informed me the item wasn't covered so I called them back and asked if they could apply the $75 to the cost of the repair. They told me they could not.
