Ask for Paul, he is so polite, respectful, professional, and quick! I had called in and set a 3 pm appointment, Paul was punctual and it was $95. $15 more if they have to drill. They drilled me in and he explained to me how locks work and gave me tips on what I can do next time to avoid the problem. He even showed me how to install a new door knob and asked if I wanted him to clean the shavings from the floor so I wouldn't step on it and hurt my feet if I was bare foot. read more

I should preface by saying that (unfortunately) this is not the first time I've been locked out of my apartment this year. The first time it happened, the service I called had me in my apartment in less than a few minutes. It was almost too easy. I called this service and arranged for a time to meet. I was in the process of getting my car towed and missed his confirmation call. He called again and gave me a bit of an attitude "I just called you and it went to voicemail... do you need our service or what??". I said, of course, and confirmed the time. The guy arrived on time but was clearly in a bad mood, but we all have bad days. He started fiddling around with the lock and after about 30 minutes, he said it was "impossible" to pick and that he'd have to drill the lock to let me in. Of course, this was an extra charge. I told him that I had this done before and the guy was successful really quickly. He said it must have been luck as he is "really good at what I do". Clearly. So, after 35 minutes, $180 later, and a damaged lock, I was finally back into my apartment. FYI - the previous service only charged me $118 and this was on New Year's Day. read more

Absolutely awesome. I called around, and they had the best prices in town. Also -- their technician Paul was here in 15-minutes. Such a nice guy -- very professional and easy going. He tried his best to pick the lock, and when that wasn't done, gave me all of the options and let me know how I could most cost-effectively replace the locks. We contacted Accurate Lock Service last Thursday after being locked out of our condo due to latch failure. The time was around 9:45 PM and James took our call. He was at a client's location and so was short on time. He however requested me to text him the details and promised to get back to us once he was done. I sent him all the details and he got back to us in 15 minutes. He came over in few minutes and helped break the latch. I paid $135 for the whole service. Went with them because they provided the cheapest quote for replacing my door know (100 vs 150). The guy did not show up on the date and time I requested and I had to call him to get him to show up. When he finally did replace the lock it was $350 rather than $100!!! He gave some roundabout explanation about why his 40 minutes of work installing $50 door know was worth it but it was already installed so I was kind of stuck. On top of this he was rude to my building maintenance person. Use anybody but them!!! read more

The initial estimate he gave was already pretty okay compared to 2 other locksmiths in the area I called.
