Worst experience ever, if I could leave no stars I would. Took my car in 2 weeks ago to see why it kept overheating, Tom tells me it's a radiator hose. A few days later the car starts to overheat again, Tom says "bring it in we'll take a look." He says, you need a new radiator, pay to have the radiator replaced only to still have a coolant leak. The next day I call and ask him if they actually fixed the problem and he says I don't know why it's still overheating but we'll take a look at it again. An hour after I dropped it off Tom calls me and says, "hey do you still have the key." Long story short he list the key and had to get it replaced. After they had another key made, they finally get back to looking at the car only to say that they forgot to replace a plug that goes in the radiator. I finally get in the car to pull off just to find out that the car wouldn't start so it had to get jumped and it wouldn't move while in gear; come to find out that they didn't put transmission back in the reservoir. Now I have an oil leak, coolant leak and the car jerks every time I try to accelerate. Take your chances but Tom and his crew are the worst crew I've ever encountered in my life. Just do yourself a favor and pay the extra money for real professional service. read more

Don't give a crap about doing anything the correct way as long as they get paid! Brought my vehicle to have ac fixed and went back so many times thru out a full year. Just to get it back just as it was brought it! No reason my ac should be squealing loud as hell after having a full replacement! Threw cheap parts at it. Having the belt to come off and need another. And guess what!? Get the belt put back on just to still have it doing the same thing. Took to Monticello and manager says it's bc he put on aftermarket belt and doesn't understand why he just wouldn't get the correct one from Chevy! Very dissatisfied customer here! Do NOT recommend sad that customers keep getting pushed away continuously until the warranty offered by accurate tune runs out. read more

I was going here for years never could say anything bad about them. This year the change has come. First my AC had to go back 6 times paid twice. End up going to Coastal and same day fix! One more try for Tom. Alternator got it put in it burnt my battery made my dash board light go out and his excuses are sad. 21 YEARS OF SERVICE. I MISS DEALING WITH JT ON MONTICELLO. Last Aug I brought my suburban in bc my ac stopped working. they checked for free told me it needed a new compressor and he could take care of me. I agree to move forward. Couple days later I pick up my vehicle and it's starts squeeling when the ac is turned on. Then stops blowing cold Call Tom and tells me to bring it back in so I do. And he says they didn't know it had dual ac controls and needed to recharge. they did that. Get the car back and it's still squealing. Took it back a couple more times for this same issue. being without a vehicle for weeks at a time. They couldn't figure it out. By this time is winter and no longer using the ac so the squeal issue isn't a pain at the moment. This summer comes back around and still squealing then the squealing stops and my ac stops blowing cold again. Call Tom he tells me to bring it in. At first he's throwing out multiple excuses as to why it could be doing this. I'm irritated bc he's had my vehicle so much by this point he knows those reasons are none of which. Anyway he looks at it and tells me the condenser belt had come off. And then he telling me im gonna have to pay for the belt but give me free labor. I explain to him again that I've had this squealing issue since he has given it back to me with more than more than 5 revisits and it's not been fixed. He then agrees to put it on free but now he has to order a special tool to put on the new belt. So another week and 1/2 without my vehicle. Pick it up and guess what... my damn car is still squealing. call tom back. He tells me it'll be a few days before he can get to me. At this point I'm fed up. So I call Monticello location and ask if they could take a look. And he confirms it's the aftermarket belt they put on my vehicle. that he doesn't understand why tom wouldnt just order one straight from Chevy. He couldnt help me out with that part bc one he doesn't have the special tool to put on the belt and 2 bc Toms location is who I have the warranty with. I was pleased with the Monticello customer service that he was able to provide bc I'm livid with the little creek location! I paid too much money to not have my vehicle back with a correctly installed condenser and belt! Now here I am stuck with this shit bc I was pushed off so long that my year warranty has run out! If you read this and want to make this right Accurate Tune then call me! My name is Jessica Treadway! I brought u my 2015 white Chevy suburban! make it right and I'll remove the review. But at this moment of dealing with them for this last whole year I'll never recommend them Until this is made right. I have 3 kids in school and I'm in school and working . The third time I showed up at 7:30 AM, as requested, to be told that a car was in the inspection bay and would be for four hours and that it "had to be worked on." This place opens at 8. I went to the Little Creek location for an oil change &. In less than 24 hours after my oil light came on (I did not feel safe driving). I had my car towed back to the shop & the manager JT said my car was a quart low in oil & replaced my starter & battery, " as a courtesy" After having those parts repaired my car is still shaking & making a knocking noise. This is the shop on E. Little creek rd Don't EVER let these people touch your car! I went there for TUNE -UP On my 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, and a check over for any other issues. The car had an oil leak that I asked them to check to see where it was coming from...7 HOURS LATER(I was in the shop the whole time) I paid 425.00 to go 4 blocks up the street and have to limp back with the car jerking and bucking and trying to cut off and smoking like it was on fire! Tom looked at the car and said"your catalytic converter(the engine mounted one) is red hot!!..Of course it was because they were sitting there gunning the engine!*btw they never told me where the leak was coming from*After they did that for a while they told me to take the car to another place the next day call "Mitches", and that they couldn't do anything else for the car. So I limped back home to Virginia beach.Because of my hours I couldn't get the car to "Mitches" 3 days later the timing belt broke while I was driving and damaged the engine. When I called Accurate Tune about it, all Tom said was"All we did was a tune up"and took no responsibility for the damage that happened to my car. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE, RIP OFF!!!! I thought I could trust John. Nope!! He took advantage of a female. He knew my engine needed to be replace but instead fixed thing that didn't need fixing. After $850 spent I drove away in my "baby" to bring it back after 5 minutes. The sound the vibration the almost stalling. So now John tells me I need a new engine and he has one with just under 100,000 miles on it for $3000 and out of the goodness of his heart he would apply the $850 I already paid him. NO. It was a good morning. We took our ailing Jeep to Accurate Tune Plus. They fixed the electronic throttle control, did an oil and filter change, replaced the back brakes and reset tire pressures. I love this place. Accurate Tune is the ONLY place I take my cars. They are very nice when I go in there. Bill is always patient and explains things to me. They dont do the whole "oh shes a woman" thing. Always quality work and decent priced. Ive been bringing my vehicles in for years. They are trustworthy and friendly people. Also as for the other review, when people go into a buisness you have to be kind for others to be kind to you, dont go in with an attitude and you wont get an attitude. So went in for an inspection Have to admit it was fast 03 Honda Element. So 3rd brake light out. LR tire Worn. Now here's where it gets sketchy right front tire supposedly has a nail in it got rejected they already had a total for two brand new tires and the brake light $165.00 still got into a little argument with the manager witch told me to leave. at this time I drove up to the auto parts store and replace the bulb look at the tire there was no nail in it called the State Police. Wishing for me tires will be rejected if there is an air escaping obviously no nail in the tire. And it wasn't leaking there I use the water bottle spray the tire down went back to ask where the nail is manager came out told me I'm not welcome there and he called the police on me while I was waiting for a call back from State Police obviously the manager of this upset that I found out about his scam to get me to buy a new tire read more

My husband and I bring all three of our cars here for service. Bill is awesome and is extremely helpful. When I bring one of the cars in I feel as though I am treated fairly and given the runaround. All I needed was an inspection. Two minor repairs were needed (nail in the tire and a fog light was out). I went home despite being heavily pressured to let them complete the repairs for $80. There was no nail in the tire, and the only problem with the fog light was a loose fuse. So back I went to get re-inspected. The man at the counter, after some confusion and back and forth was not satisfied that I wouldn't let them fix the nail they said was in my tire so he began yelling and cussing at me then turned his rage on the mechanic. He insisted that the tire was to be taken off and I was to be shown the nail. I refused to let the tire be taken off, instead I asked the mechanic to lift it and spin the tire. Guess what, no nail! So long story short, I had to waste several hours of my day and endure verbal abuse just to get a simple inspection. Never again will I go here! Oh, I forgot to mention the laundry list of other repairs that I was given. I asked for a state inspection and got pressured for unnecessary repairs. read more

When I noted the discrepancy, I was informed that an oil change is included with the tune-up. I didn't an oil change! Been here twice and was disappointed both times. This establishment advertises value oil changes on their website, but they do not perform oil changes. The oil change is designed to lure you into the shop so more expensive repair work can be done. Dishonest, disrespectful, and dirty.
