This company was assigned by American Home Shield. I had to contact them. Although they indicate they will service the 85747 zip code, that means Rita Ranch NOT Vail. It was too far to come all the way to Vail. The service guy assigned was supposed to come by on his way home at the end of the day since he lives in Rita Ranch. Never showed. A week later I called American Home Shield to assign someone else due to this company refusing to come and service our appliance. Just be careful. Wow, these guys suck. I also have a home warranty and these guys were sent out to fix a problem. After several attempts it still was not fixed! I repeatedly told the guy what was wrong but he never listened to what I was saying and "fixed" things that weren't my original complaint!! He seemed incompetent and had very poor listening and understanding ability to what I kept telling him was the actual problem. So guess what? Our problem is still not fixed after repeated visits from them. Also, they have bad customer service. It started out fine but when I called again since the problem wasn't fixed, then they became rude. I do NOT recommend them. I'll likely skip the warranty and just pay out of my own pocket to fix what is actually wrong with another company that I've hired in the past who actually do a good job. read more

Our washer is leaking so we contacted our home warranty company who assigned this company for repair. When they called to schedule I was told the tech would arrive at my home "sometime after noon". I asked for a window of time and he repeated "sometime after noon". Gilbert arrived at 5:30pm, shook the drum of the washer and said "your bearrings are shot. It is unrepairable. I will recommend you get a replacement." The next day I got notification of another service appt with Sears. When I called my home warranty company to find out what was going on, they told me APPLIANCE CARE EXPERTS, stated in their report that it was a "two man job" and said they were "UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE WORK". Gilbert, the tech from this company, looked me in the eye and lied to my face. Now we can't get a service tech out for another week. Unprofessional, untimely, untrue. 0 STARS Worst COMPANY I have ever dealt with in my 42 years... Warranty company set us up with ACE AKA Appliance Care Experts, to put in a final diagnosis so our oven can be replaced. Called them and the owner Flat out refused to take the service call. He ranted on and on about how he;s sick and tired of taking on these types of calls, he shouldn't have to be called on to a job and expected to do something that a huge well trained company like Sears already couldn't fix...He further went on to say "I refuse to tell them I'm rejecting the call too because I'm not sitting on hold for 3 hours, I have a business to run" "So, you're going to have to call them and let them know we said no if you want it to be handled". Called Warranty place, relayed message. They said that was unacceptable and they were emailing their contractor relations department. Next day, I get a call from the same guy saying he was taking the call, he spoke with the Warranty place, and that he would send someone out that day... Guy came out, diagnosed, stated it needs to be replaced, said it would be sent to warranty place in the next few days. Waited over 2 weeks, Warranty place had nothing, Couldn't get a hold of them, left several messages. I decide to call Ace (Appliance Care Experts) and the owner answered, knew exactly who I was as soon as I said my name and stated "Sorry, but I am not turning anything in, you'll have to find someone else." " I have a business to run and I'm not waiting on hold for 3 hours" I was floored!!!! I explained we had been waiting for almost a month just from his part in this process alone and we haven't been able to cook for our kids since the oven was labeled a fire hazard. He tells me "Yeah, everyone is dealing with things right now and I have a lot of work orders and don't have time to sit here and wait on hold." What kind of business behaves this way? It was like a child having a tantrum. I asked why he would even take the call then when he knew he didn't want to do it before and knew he would have to wait on hold?? I am disgusted by this companies attitude and willingness to put someone through weeks of crap when they knew they would never do anything to fix it. I was a 2-10 policy holder but I will not renew. This was a terrible vendor. They took such a long time to fix our refrigerator last October/November we actually had to eat out for thanksgiving. Then, the guy came to "fix" the dryer and became belligerent when I asked him to do more than simply push my dryer forward so the hose wouldn't get bunched up. I was alone with the baby and didn't appreciate the childish outburst from a grown man. He literally slammed my door (after defiantly pushing back the dryer). Thank goodness my contract with 2-10 is almost up. They were not helpful at all. My policy was over $800, and they were worthless. What a nightmare. read more

I am sorry the last reviewer had a bad experience with ACE Appliance Repair, as we had a very positive experience. We also have a 2-10 home warranty, and both repairs to our refrigerator were covered with nothing more than a little discussion between the repair company and 2-10. Phil, the repairman, was professional, competent, friendly and we enjoyed working with him. The fridge was fixed promptly and works perfectly. read more

We were directed to Ace Appliance by our warranty company after a horrible experience with another appliance service in Tucson. The folks at Ace answered the phone when we called, they set up an appt. in a reasonable amount of time, they showed up when they said they'd be there and fixed the problem on our washing machine! I am so pleased with Ace, and with the Warranty company for directing me to them after the horrible experience with another service company that "no showed" us and wasted our time. Ace will be my appliance repair company of choice in Tucson from here on out! read more

As with other reviewers, I also had this company assigned to me by AHS, in this case for my washer's repair. The service call was arranged easily and quickly. Unlike other prior service providers (some also sent through my AHS contract for other items) ACE Appliance phoned me directly to obtain the washer's model number and to ascertain what the problem and possible fix would be prior to the serviceman's arrival. This communication made it possible for him to arrive with the part necessary to complete the repair; which he did very efficiently and perfectly. He made certain that the washer worked properly prior to leaving and presented himself professionally and politely. I would gladly do business with Phil Jr. and his company again. read more

We needed our washer and dryer serviced, so we went thru our home warranty, American Home Shield. They assigned Ace Appliance as the vendor to do our service, and gave me their #, which I called. I talked with Will - he was pleasant and listened to what the problems were, and we had a tech scheduled for the next day. We've had other repair thru AHS, & they've all gone well. This seemed like it would be no exception. The next day Brian showed up. It's not like I expect an immaculate uniform, or even long pants, but he's wearing a dirty t-shirt & raggedy shorts. Well, he's a repair guy, & he's working around appliances, but still, not very professional. But mostly it was his attitude that bothered me most - he didn't want to hear what was wrong. When I told him one of the cycles didn't work, he told me that that cycle just works that way, & I should look at the manual. He fiddled with the dryer, wrote up a few things on an invoice that did not have the company name printed on it, told us they'd have to take our washer in to repair but needed approval from AHS first. And he misspelled our last name. He was here for 5 minutes, tops. I called Ace Appliance the next day to let them know they needed to add the broken wash cycle to the repair (I tested it), & got Will's voicemail. I left a clear message, but have not received a return call. On the website, Will is shown as the owner or person in charge. So I looked at some of the reviews on Yelp, and based on what I've read (and our experience), we've canceled the service request w/AHS & told them we are very unhappy with Ace Appliance (who had not yet turned in a repair approval request, as it turns out). Unfortunately our $75 fee is gone, but I believe if they'd gotten a hold of our washer, who knows how long it would've been gone. One of my biggest issues with a service provider is non-responsiveness. If a customer calls, a service provider needs to return that call, even if it's to say we don't want to do this job. I mean, just respond! I've worked in customer service, and it's PART OF YOUR JOB! It's interesting that the reviews for this company are so polarized - either excellent or terrible. Is it a mood thing with the person who answers the phone or the tech that's sent out? At any rate, our experience was terrible and I will never use this company or recommend them. read more

I also have 2-10 warranty I have not a trouble with the 2-10 warranty. They are quite easy to work with. Ace is is the problem. Their employees are rude and unprofessional. They came out and tried to fix our refrigerator, said it was a small switch and fixed it. Also stated they would be back out on Saturday to check and if it still wasn't cooling they would ad refrigerant. It was still not cooling, I called they said they went to the house and added freon. Trouble is no one was home they couldn't have done the work although they told me they had. Then said oops, someone will be out Saturday. I called and called to get information on the refrigerator repair. No answer, no service. I sent an email and left 2 messages not answer all weekend. I got a hold of Will this morning, He asked me "What my problem was" then told me to stop talking. The call ended with him stating we are done with the job and would need to find someone else. My recommendation Keep your warranty they are worth it. 2-10 found another provider and filed my complaint with their contractor customer service dept. This company is very unprofessional. read more

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a repair order (placed through American Home Shield). Numerous calls were never returned. The repairman regularly called between 7-9 PM saying he was on his way. The washer was removed three times and returned - but never fixed. A simple washer repair took over a month, was never completed and they destroyed the front panel of the washer. I had to have it hauled to the dump after Ace ruined it. I filed a complaint with American Home Shield which was never resolved. NEVER use this company. They should have their business license revoked. read more

We have American Home Shield, who unfortunately had to pick up the pieces after this company totally dropped the ball. They were late for our first appointment. They told us they would be at our home from 8-12 and showed up about 12:15, no big deal. They had to order the part and rescheduled for Saturday from 8-12 again. 12 rolls around so I decide to call to see if they are close by. "I forgot about it." Was Will's response. Frustrated I started explaining that I wasn't even sure if I wanted his company to complete the repair (I had already paid for the service fee). Instead of an apology or trying to come to agreement, he hung up on me and did not answer any of my return phone calls. Upon going to the bank to see if I could do a stop payment on the check I found out they are not incorporated and Will is actually the owner. Additionally, it took 2 weeks for him to even forward our warranty company the diag report. At this point I know calling ACE again would be a waste of time so I will just make it a point to let as many potential customer's aware of there unprofessional ownership and low quality service. read more
