So I've been here many times to get all my repairs done and my latest stop here to get my windshield replaced. So I drive a cls550 and my windshield is not cheap, got quoted for $1200 for a brand new after market and $800 for a cheaper aftermarket window so I come by ACES AUTO to get a quote and now I'm paying $600 for a brand new OEM windshield from the Mercedes dealership which would usually be around 2k!! Steve runs a family business where he treats you like family! I was a victim of a hit and run sideswipe accident a few months back where my entire passenger side was scraped up, and the rearview mirror clipped off. Since there were no witnesses I assumed I would be held responsible and my premium would go up, so I opted for paying out of pocket to just have the window repaired and to skip the vanity, however Steve assured me and walked me through the entire process of filing an insurance claim where I wouldnt be likely to have my premium go up. He worked with my insurance--even when they were shady and trying IT--there were delays on their end of course, HOWEVER-- Steve expedited my car through his excellent procesz--- even in the midst of a pandemic-- and it looks IMMACULATE. About a week ago, someone at school had rear ended my 2015 Honda Civic. The right side of my rear bumper had significant damage to it. The paint from her car had transferred on to mine, and completely scratched the paint off. The girl insisted on handling the situation without filing an insurance claim. We wanted to be considerate when looking for an estimate, considering that she was also a college student with other expenses. Luckily, after visiting several body shops, my father came across Aces Auto Body. Steve was able to explain the work that would be done to my car and explained that any additional damage would be at an extra cost. He was very friendly and provided me with updates on my car throughout the entire process. In the end I was very satisfied with the results. It was as if the accident never happened. I recently crashed the front of my family's car. The front was so messed up that the hood couldn't even open. Not only did they make the front of the car look good as new. They also detailed the inside of the car and cleaned the carpets, and fix up some of the scratches on the outside of the car which were there before the accident. I had a nasty car wreck about a month ago, when my insurance accessed the damages they were offering me a settlement which I was keen to further research before accepting. Something was telling me they were low balling me (insurances...not surprised). I went to a second party who determine the damages to be MUCH higher than what my insurance quoted. Even after sending this information with my insurance, they wouldn't budge. This is when I seeker an attorney's advice who suggested I go to a body shop (should've done that since the beginning) to have it quoted a third time. It's hard to find a reliable, honest, and affordable auto shop in LA. I was lucky enough to come across Aces Auto Body through Yelp and also the shop is conveniently located near my work. When I backed up into a low concrete wall (yup I totally hit an inanimate object!) and completely crushed my rear bumper, I was incredibly bummed and of course embarrassed. I couldn't believe I had I messed up my 2014 Forester. I first quoted with an Auto Body shop in Redondo Beach, and they gave me a rather ridiculous amount....then comes Aces. I was instantly greeted by Mauricio and Kathy, who made me feel welcomed and assured me that everything would be ok. Even with high reviews, I'm a skeptical person by nature....but that skepticism was quickly put to rest as soon as I met Steve at Aces Auto Body. Steve was very professional, upfront, and courteous. I didn't feel any hint of disingenuous sincerity in his attitude to get my van fixed as quickly and painlessly as possible. I provided him with my insurance information, and as promised, he had all the necessary paperwork and logistics completed so my van could get on its way to being repaired. I also met Eli (I believe Steve's boss) who was also professional, honest, and courteous. Both made every effort to breakdown what work would be done in an understandable and thorough way, and keep me informed during the repair process. They even got the work done before the scheduled completion date. I was very impressed with the work done at Aces Auto Body. As promised, my Honda Odyssey looked brand new where the repairs were made. Steve even went out of his way to buff out some areas of my van unrelated to the repair area.
