Add that they have a great draft beer menu, but tables,and a screen to watch sportsball games, and I imagine this place gets pretty packed. Oh yeah. I forgot the pickles. Both pickled cucumbers as well as pickled carrots/cauliflower/carrots. If you like pickles then you'll love their pickles. I couldn't stop eating their pickles. And the onion rings were pretty epic as well. Five stars in my book. The only negative is that they're an hour away in Cotati. Sigh. The bacon was crispy and chopped, which made it easy to eat. The shoestring fries are excellent. The tater tots were also super good. My first time trying this place as it was recommended by coworkers. Placed an order online for pick up. It was super easy. I ordered garlic fries with extra garlic, onion rings and an acme burger, medium with smoked Gouda and caramelized onions. Parking lot is shared in a plaza with other shops. Very cute and fun establishment. Employees greeted me right away and location for pick ups was easy to find. My food was ready when I arrived and hot! I also noticed they have pickles and I asked if they were free. He said yes and offered me a Togo container. I was able to take home fresh, homemade pickles. Yummy . We found this nice spot while heading to a HS bball game. It's located in a large outdoor mall with plenty of parking. Staff greeted us when we walked in. Ordered via the iPad at the counter. We ordered an Acme Burger and wedge salad. While we waited, we munched on the very tasty pickles at the counter condiment bar. Food was ready in about 10 minutes. The burger was pretty tasty with a nice and beefy patty. It was clear that it wasn't a frozen Patty type of burger. The salad was good and had lots of bacon bits. Service is very good. Great place, great menu, great service, great food! And considering how ridiculously expensive eating out is anymore we fed four people a hearty lunch for under $80. No one left hungry. Plentiful portions of well-prepared burgers and sandwiches with fresh and abundant garnishes (the seared chicken and hot chicken were cooked perfectly) and you can make a combo meal by adding fries and a shake or soda. I wouldn't call the fries shoestring - they were cut to normal French fry size - but they were tasty and piled high. You could easily share a basket. The malt shake was rich and chocolaty (Straus!) but my only complaint as it were is there wasn't nearly enough malt in the shake). The garlic fries are obnoxiously garlicky and my dining partners rejoiced in my misery as they thoroughly enjoyed their fries (I do not like garlic if you haven't figured it out already and was dreading the car ride home) This is only the second time I've eaten here but remembered liking it enough to want to come back. This goes to prove my theory that Acme Burger is not just great for its burgers alone. Last week I drove 500+ miles to try Acme's organic burger made from Sonoma Mountain Beef Company and it left quite a lasting impression. So here I am, back in NorCal, to try out more items from their menu at their sister location in Cotati. The 2 Acme Burger locations offer the same menu items, but the decor and vibe are completely opposite. The Santa Rosa location had the feel of an old diner and a more family-oriented touch to it. This Cotati location has more of a rugged cowboy edge to it with rustic wooden tables. I especially love the outdoor dining patio that has a lattice top and vines to provide shading. There's also a wall-size chalk board for the kids to doodle at their heart's content. For this visit, I ordered the fish n chips, buttermilk battered chicken breast with lettuce & tomatoes on the side (no buns), beer battered onion rings, chocolate milkshake, and fresh squeezed lemonade. The fish n chips were lightly seasoned with some Cajun spices that had a very inviting taste. The fish was moist and the outside was crispy and very flavorful--absolutely delicious! The fish were served under a bed of crunchy fries. I highly recommend you try this out for yourself! The buttermilk battered chicken breast was so tender, moist, and flavorful. There was not a single hint of dryness that you normally get at other places that serve chicken breast! If you typically do not like chicken breast, I promise one bite of Chef Todd's chicken breast will change your mind! They were incredibly delicious and juicy! The onion rings were dipped in beer batter, so they were extra crunchy. I couldn't finish all the onion rings and fries, so I took them to go. Hours later, they were still crispy! The chocolate milkshake was made from Straus Organic Dairy and it was YUMMY!! Like the Santa Rosa store, this location also offered self-serve jars of pickled veggies made by Chef Todd himself. They're great alone, or with your food. Customer service was EXCELLENT! Addison helped us with our order and took really great care of us! The review is close enough to 5 stars to give it! Each visit here has proven successful- the food, friendliness of staff and the outdoor patio that is super family friendly. I'm most grateful Acme has a kids menu as otherwise it is tricky ordering from a regular menu- especially cost & portion size. Being a vegetarian I order the Impossible Burger almost every time. I prefer the special sauce versus the hummus. The fries are perfection in my opinion. The lemonade is good and I am happy hard cider is offered as I am not much of a beer fan. I've also enjoyed a few fresh & delicious salads. Acme makes and offers complimentary pickles & spicy pickled veggies. So I was in the area for a wedding in Santa Rosa and came in town the night before and was starved. We had never heard of Cotati but was really craving a salad and we saw the beet salad on their menu and decided to go for it as it wasn't far from where we were staying. I'm SO THRILLED that we came to this place - AMAZING! What a cute place with the most delicious food and nicest people. We started off and shared the beet salad - and we all agreed - this is the BEST BEET SALAD EVA! It think it's that the beets had so much flavor! There are some places - where I don't really taste the beets but this one was so juicy and flavorful. AND you add the creamy goat cheese and crunch walnuts with the spicy of arugula! Top with the balsamic vinaigrette! SO GOOD!! My mouth is watering even thinking about it!! Daughter ordered the Acme Burger with cheese, bacon and avocado and she LOVED it! She said the meat was delicious and so was the bun. Hubby got the rock cod burger - and I will say - it was AMAZING. I took a bite to taste, then another, then reluctantly gave it back to him. That was a HUGE crunchy fresh juicy rock cod all in a perfect toasted bun!! I wish I could get this close to home - I'd order this again and again!! it was really a piece of rock cod! Not a "rock cod" mix but a piece of rock cod! AMAZING! I ordered the special which was a BLT with avocado and jalapeno slices on toasted sourdough! OMG - perfection! I loved that the bread wasn't so thick you couldn't enjoy the main components - TONS of lettuce, delicious crunchy bacon - not too much - just the right amount and the thick sweet tomatoes and then the creamy avocado with the kick of the jalapenos! WHY OH WHY are all their sandwiches/burgers so delicious!! And of course I love onion rings - so got the onion rings which had the perfect crunch - and we used their special sauce as a dip - SO GOOD - so much... perfect for the three of us. And because we wanted to offset the onion rings - we got an order of fruit salad... Was fresh and delicious - a GREAT way to end our meal! Service is quite friendly and helpful. Enjoyed everyone a lot. We had a burger and fish sandwich plus fries,ice tea and root beer. Everthing was great including the prices, only 29 bucks for two lunches tax included. We did leave a tip in the jar of course too. My only complaint would be the table was a bit grimy. First time here. Large selection of very tasty sounding items on the menu. Located in a strip mall with Oliver's Market and other places I'd like to try. My daughter and I both had the Sonoma Mountain Beef Company burger. It's a great quality burger but needs a more distinct House sauce. I had to put some Ranch on it to give it a bit more flavor. One order of garlic fries was more than enough for both of us. They were the best garlic fries I've had. They were hot and they were drenched with minced garlic. They have a large, covered outdoor dining area to the side of the shop and a smaller outdoor dining area in front. I look forward to the future Petaluma location. I will be back. read more

I had the Acme burger with organic beef and American cheese and their usual toppings. And shoestring fries and a drink. They have a good condiment bar with all kinds of things to customize. I was happy see Malt vinegar and hot sauce to cut sweetness of ketchup for dipping fries. Home made pickles was a plus. Seating is mostly picnic tables inside and out. Food arrived and all was good but the beef had no flavor. While they describe a char outside and pink inside, mine had no char and medium through. Fries were a little bigger than shoestrings but good. Quantity was enough for 2 or 3. Unsweetened ice tea was good. So why 3? I expect to taste beef. I don't think I would visit again. read more

We were driving through the area as part of a road trip and needed a quick meal on the go. Acme Burger hit my Yelp radar and I decided to check it out. We pre-ordered on Yelp and they had our order ready as soon as we arrived. Staff took all the options to make sure they were masked and hand sanitizing stations everywhere, plus they spaced everything out. At the time we went indoor dining was still not allowed and while they had some picnic tables outside, we opted to eat in the car being paranoid from our road trip. FOOD Ahi Tuna Burger: This was a great burger combination - the wasabi mayo teriyaki glaze, and pineapple salsa worked really well the the ahi tuna which was cooked perfectly. Not too dry, not too wet... just right on the sear. I thought it was a pretty unique concept for an ahi tuna sandwich and it was very flavorful. Flash Fried Bodega Rock Cod Burger: The cod itself was nicely fried, hot, and tasty. A bit plain on the burger itself - aside from the fried cod, there was only lettuce, tomato, and some kind of sauce. I didn't really notice the sauce either - it would have been better to try and dress it up with something more suited for seafood like the Ahi Tuna Nurger. It was still delicious though, a good option for someone just looking for a cooked fish burger. Fries: The fries are solid here - crispy and hot. We went with cajun fries and regular fries. Cajun fries were well seasoned and went great with our fish burgers. Chocolate Milkshake: One of us got did a combo deal with the milkshake and fries - milkshake was creamy and thick, a nice treat after a long drive. OVERALL Nice local eatery in the area - the dining area looked pretty nice and laidback. If you're able to dine in it seems to be a better experience. The seating is not all that comfortable though. Food is good when it's correct . Nothing super stands out about this place. They have multiple locations. Online ordering doesn't reflect their options. They typically always have pulled pork but you have to call in to see if they are really out or they just 'forgot' to make that option available thru online ordering. Nothing super WOW factor. My family LOVES Acme Burger and eat there weekly. I love that they offer a grass fed beef patty, that you can double any burger/sandwich for a mere $3-$4, and their variety of fries. This is one of our go to burger joints. The parking is always easy. The menu on the side wall is at a weird angle but it works. Employees are helpful and courteous. The burgers are really flavorful and have a lot of options as far as toppings go. Their fries are shoestring and very thin, not my favorite style but they do them well. Would prefer a thicker fry. We ordered their chili cheese fries and they were not what we were expecting- you literally get fries, a cup of watery chili, and a cup of cheese from Costco. Believe it or not, the cauliflower in their homemade vinegar brine is also absolutely phenomenal. The taste of everything was on point and was just a small highlight on why we will venture to this location in the near future. They have amazing fries that are even better with their good ranch.
