First of all the lady that welcomed us seemed like she was in a very bad mood. The lady at the register wasn't very helpful when I asked about two different meal choices. The price for two people very average about $70. We got to pick an outside seat and the same lady that welcomed us, was the same lady that gave us water and kind of slammed the water on the table. She was really in a bad mood! The food that we ordered didn't take too long at all. In all honesty the food was okay and didn't blow me away at all. I did love the potatoes but other than that, it was a place that I'd only go to once and thats it. I got the "Shop local" Benedict and my Husband got the Brekkie Sando. The bloody Mary was nasty and tasted like straight tomato and water mixed together. We will not be going back. The outside area is okay and open but way too many flies for the outside area to eat.
Although we come to Healdsburg often, we never found this cute brunch spot until this past holiday season. We happened to be driving by on the way to the Skunk Train and stopped by for lunch. There is a variety of sandwiches you can eat on site as well as a grab and go from their refrigerated section. We went for the seasonal turkey and brie served with fresh chips, both surprisingly delicious for a sandwich that I was tempted to get another to go. I had my eye on the Lemon Ricotta Hotcake topped with ice cream, yes, ice cream. Instead of butter, you get to enjoy it with ice cream slowly melting over your hotcake, making each bite heavenly. I did move the scoop to the side so it wouldn't melt as fast and I can taste the velvety ice cream on its own. Since it was the holidays, I could not resist getting a caramel apple cider which was warming without being overly sweet. With outdoor seating outside, would love to come back during the summer for leisurely brunch.
We wanted to find a nice brunch spot in Healdsburg that was open on Labor Day and came across Acorn Cafe. Overall the food was pretty good. We really liked the lemon pancakes and found that it wasn't overly sweet. The huevos rancheros tasted good but the portion size was a little small. As for the service, the waiters were all nice, the food came out fast, and the outside area was perfect for the nice weather.
If I lived in Healdsburg, I would eat here all the time. I only had breakfast, but it was enough to make me a fan. It's a very low-key place; you order at the counter, then find a table. Everyone working there was so friendly and warm, I felt like a regular. The patio is a lovely shaded place to wile away a morning with never-ending coffee refills. The "brekkie sando" was excellent, and their breakfast potatoes are about the best I've ever had. If you're in town, check it out.
I came here after constantly driving by Acorn Cafe on over the weekend and loving how cute it was outside! This is an order up at the counter then find a seat kind of place. The staff was so helpful in explaining the menu and answering any questions we had about the food available. I ended up getting the parfait which was excellent and had some really fun fruit and toasted coconuts! They had plenty of seating both inside and outside with the outside having both heat lamps and a built in fire feature. I can't wait to come back and try the Juju's menu because it also looks incredible!
A little late review. I have gone here three times and loved everything. Food is fresh and came out quickly. The lattes are amazing and the patio has a nice ambiance.
This spot was nothing to brag about, I was hesitant on what I should order so I ended up ordering a açaí bowl without banana to be safe. The açaí base was giving literal sorbet. I didn't think I would love the granola but it helped with the acai base taste, I will say the only thing that lacked was a nut butter. They also put it in this coconut bowl which was truly unnecessary because the bowl needed an additional bowl because it doesn't sit flat so the entire time it went round and round. It is also an order at the counter and fend for yourself table service.
Since taking over this space from the old Oakville Market, yesterday was my first time stepping in to Acorn (as friends wanted to go). Being GF, there aren't too many options on the menu so I passed on ordering as I wasn't in the mood for anything available. Was a decent line but moved quick. Order first then grab a seat at prepared tables. Lots of indoor/outdoor space. Servers will provide silverware, water, and buss tables once leave. Friends got some items and this is their review of the items; harvest salad- good flavoring but was expecting it to be warm, steak sandwich; steak meat should be thinner making it easy to eat but was good and came with crispy crunch chips; the beet & goat cheese salad was delicious; and the banana matcha** strawberry was not so **strawberry flavored, strong coffee. Size of orders were fair and filling for price point.
Came to Acorn Cafe and really enjoyed it! Also loved that they use the inkind cash pay system which was a nice little perk for Valentine's weekend. Boyfriend and I shared the shakshuka and the lemon ricotta pancakes - a little savory, a little sweet. The shakshuka was spot on! It was well spiced and the combination of fire roasted tomatoes, peppers, and onions was delightful! The pop of freshness from parsley and scallions was also really nice. I also enjoyed the creamy notes from the goat cheese and the special guest, pistachios. The poached eggs were cooked separate and featured the perfect runny yolk. We could have used more bread though. We had to order hash browns later on to finish the dish. As for the pancake, it was so fluffy. The lemon was evident and the fresh scoop of lavender really hammered home that farm to table freshness for me. I also really enjoyed the honey granola clusters which added a fun texture to the dish! We each got a specialty latte and both were made well. They got a nice firm foam even for oat milk so kudos to the barista! Definitely would return when in Healdsburg

One of the best places we ate on the way up to North to Eureka. Wish we would've stayed in Healdsburg lol. The granola was perfection. You can tell it freshly made, wasn't stale at all. The pastries were delicious. I can't remember what we got, but there was something with chocolate or chocolate chips I believe. I wish we would've eaten something like lunch. It was bustling right before lunchtime so expect to wait. I hope to go up there again and pop in.
Busy and bustling on a Saturday morning, but this place is a streamlined operation and runs quick and smooth. A line at the door and almost every table taken. Don't let that deter you and read the sentence above. One more time. *wink!* Ordered some mimosas, coffee, shakshuka and a grain bowl. HOLY HELL THIS GRAIN BOWL. 10/10. By the time we ordered, there were three open tables and my husband could stop whining about "no place to sit." Three tables fool - pick one! Aside from being busy, the food here is absolutely delicious. The grain salad bowl is my new favorite. I feel nourished but not overstuffed. Strong coffee. My husband claims the people-sighting is top-notch here (it is). Acorn is great. The lemon ricotta pancake looks amazing (!!!). We'll definitely be back.
This was such a nice pitstop for us! Good: - The acai bowl as small, but it was filled with so much flavor and taste! - The grain bowl was amazing - huge portion size and felt so healthy as we were eating it, there's a lot of veggies and the sauce isn't too heavy - The chai tea was really good too - nice and sweet - The interior is adorable, it's a casual but upscale place with super nice AC in the hot summer days too - Price was good and food came quickly too Bad: - The outdoor patio was full by the time we got there! We stayed an hour away but this spot was close to our first tasting of the day. We arrived after the breakfast rush and had the place mostly to ourselves. I ordered the breakfast plate and subbed potatoes for fruit. The fruit was fresh and crisp. The eggs were soft and creamy. The sourdough had a nice nutty taste - made even better with a light smear of butter and jam. The bacon was crispy but still rich and fatty. My wife had the tiramisu French toast and said it's the best breakfast dessert she has ever had. The iced vanilla oat milk latte I had was one of the best I've ever had. We were so in love with this breakfast spot we tried to rearrange plans on Sat and Sun to go back, but we couldn't. A fast casual brunch option in Healdsburg right off the town square. At Acorn you cue up and order and pay, you are given a number and your food is brought out from the kitchen to your table. We were having "second breakfast" so we did a split of "Shop Local" Eggs Benedict and a latte, a chai and juice and it was a tasty breakfast, a good price, and a big order. The brunch menu has a lot of options including tiramisu French toast, huevos rancheros, lemon ricotta pancakes, shashuka and avocado toast. The interior decor at Acorn Cafe is modern, with pastels, light wood, a concrete floor and high ceilings. A very solid brunch option. read more

My first visit here since this was Oakville Market. The renovation is fantastic. Very nice interior that seems quite spacious. Our mimosas were top notch - not too much OJ which can be the case many times. Beryl took great care of us today at our lunch. What a kind person he was. We all ordered salads- I had the chipotle salad. It was good but I would not say fabulous. I have a feeling by looking at the menu that I would prefer the breakfast items more. Cafeteria style ordering. I was quite surprised. I didn't expect this, would I known I would not of celebrated Mother's Day here. As I walked in, there was no line, I ordered and went hunting for a table. We waited for our food and moved because the A/C was blasting and my kids were uncomfortably cold. The food arrived, eggs Benedict (flavor was there, but the bacon and toast was too hard to chew. ) lemon pancakes ( more of a cake consistency, too thick not enough fluff) and lox bagel( best thing we had). Not sure I will be returning for the price, I really don't like the cafeteria style ordering. read more

Went in a big group with kids and dogs, and the outdoor area was perfect for us. The kids loved the DIY pancake topping dish and I really enjoyed my acai cone (I just wanted something small). Acorn Cafe was very clean, specious and well lit. Design of the place is modern with lots of cool colors that has calming effects. All staff were very kind, polite and professional. My server checked on me if I am ok with my order or need any thing else several times. Their menu covers all basis. Every dish was well made and presented artistically on the plates. I ordered Reuben sandwich on rye bread. Sandwich tasted wonderful and assembled nicely. Side of potato chips was fried perfectly. I was happy after my meal. Acorn offers wide variety of juices and coffee drinks alongside local wines and bears. Restrooms were clean and well maintained. I'll be back whenever I am in the area. read more

Came here on New Year's Day and it was super busy. Although there were so many people we were greeted with a smile, the busboys were working hard to keep the tables clean, and the food came out in a timely manner. it was after my lunch threshold, so I ordered the Steam Sando. It was very flavorful. The meat was tender, I had a right amount of sauce on it, and it came with house-made chips. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich (not pictured) and it was juicy and flavorful as well. They had a lot of drink options but we got the cold brew, latte, and orange juice. Everything tasted homemade and not out of a box. The interior of the restaurant was cute but definitely had to sit outside because it was crowded. Came here for breakfast on 7/5/2025 at around 10am. The staff here are super friendly! The way it works is you go inside to order, then seat yourself and your food will come out. We had our dog with us but they told us to bring our dog inside so we can order (even though only the patio area was dog friendly). We appreciated it that so much. My husband ordered the breakfast burger and a large hot coffee and I ordered the lemon ricotta hotcakes with a side of chicken sausage and an iced Matcha Chai Latte. After ordering, we were trying to find a seat out the patio. The staff noticed some of the other seats available had rowdy dogs that were barking at our dog, so they immediately clean a table further away for us and shared their sentiment about the other fiesty dogs. I love how attentive the staff here are! They made the experience so welcoming and nice. It was also an amazing weekend in Healdsburg so the weather was on point- not too hot or windy. It definitely felt like fine dining for sure. plus, the food and drinks were DELICIOUS! I wanted to try my husband's breakfast burger so badly but it had a runny egg and I'm currently pregnant so can't have anything raw. The breakfast selections here are a refreshing change of pace from the typical hotcake, waffle, and omelette eateries. We loooooved the Lemon Ricotta Hotcake, which had a lovely scoop of tart Lemon Lavender ice cream on it. For the savory portion of our shared meal, we tried the Benedict, which was prepared with sourdough bread, a brown butter hollandaise, thick cut bacon, and wonderfully prepared tri-color potatoes. Cappuccino and lattes were also delicious. Order at the counter and seat yourself in a casual, attractive dining space, constantly being cleared and kept spotless by the efficient and friendly staff. A nice fast casual with healthy salads and sandwiches and industrial chic interior. We ordered a carafe of delicious orange wine, an avocado and jicama salad, avocado toast, the quinoa grain bowl and a couple of protein sandwiches with fries. If you want to eat quick without hefty charge I think this is the right place. They have a nice outdoor area too and nice bathroom. I would have liked to try fine dining in healdsburg but we didn't have time. read more

What a good choice for breakfast. I was looking for a place to eat, as we had only had a cup of coffee on this day. The reviews were solid, and it looked like it was a good place to hit, as there was not much of a line, and there were many open tables. The menu looked awesome, and it made it somewhat difficult to pick something out. I settled on the Huevos Rancheros, and my wife had the avocado toast. These choices did not disappoint. The Huevos Ranchos had a nice amount of spice to it. I really enjoyed it. The avocado toast, was a solid selection for my wife, with the very dense bread, and a good amount of avocado, along with a soft cooked egg on top. She shared part of it with me, it was very good. I've got to say, the service in this place was very good. My coffee cup never got lower than about halfway before someone came along asking if I wanted more. We were offered additional water for our water, pitcher, all around, amazing service. There's lots of seating inside and outside at this place, so seems like it's readily available. read more

Very efficient and welcoming place to grab some food. The staff was friendly and their service model gets you served quickly. You'll order at the front counter where you'll be given an RFID tracker that you'll place on your table. This quickly alerts the staff to the table you've chosen. This means no obnoxious number calling or staff having to hunt for a table card. Very impressive and a great way to utilize technology. You can enjoy your meal inside their modern café or dine alfresco in the outdoor seating area overlooking the downtown area. Along with their great food and service, they also offer libations, ideal for a relaxing breakfast, brunch, or lunch. I opted for the Blueberry Scone and Cortado coffee. Both were amazing, meaning this isn't the fake scones from a chain coffee joint; this was crunchy, flakey, and soft on the inside. My tablemate ordered the Huevos Rancheros and a coffee as well, and they were also a hit. Great breakfast spot to start your day out. They can get busy but again they're very efficient, so your wait shouldn't be long. read more

The restaurant's aesthetic and ambiance immediately caught my attention, and the food exceeded my expectations. We arrived around 10:30 on a weekend, and while it was busy, it wasn't overly crowded. They offer both indoor and patio seating, which is nice. The ordering process is simple: you place your order at the front counter, choose a seat, and the server brings the food to your table. Of all the dishes we tried, my favorite was the Healdsburg Shakshuka--it was absolutely divine! The servers were friendly and even brought us extra bread to enjoy with the dish. We stopped in at the Acorn Cafe on our way from Little River to San Fran. After an hour of twisty turning road, I needed a break, lol. A quick google of "breakfast near me" brought up the highly-reviewed Acorn Cafe. This town and this cafe were both a surprising gem. The people were friendly, attentive, and kind. The space is bright, open, cozy and they have a wonderful outdoor patio that welcomes dogs. The food was delicious and my dining companion was blown away by the shaved chocolate in the Tiramisu French Toast. Whether you live close or are just passing through, this place is a gem. This is the 3rd, maybe 4th incarnation of a restaurant at this site, and thank Allah, Goddess, (your fave deity) the Acorn is here. Beryl, the owner/alchemist sources the best of the best and makes not only delicious meals, but makes them even better than the sum of the ingredients! I had (arguably) the best Reuben sandwich of my entire life: delicious, moist, quality components. Easy parking and perfectly located for all that's happening in Hbg. My friends and I came here on a Sunday and surprisingly the wait time wasn't too bad! The restaurant is set up in a way where we order food at the counter and get a buzzer to wait at a table with. There was ample indoor and outdoor seating and all of the decorations around the restaurant were super cute! The staff were also very attentive and friendly, which was a huge plus. I ended up ordering the Peach Matcha latte with oat milk, 'Shop Local' Benedict and the Tiramisu French Toast. I've never tried peach matcha before but the flavors worked surprisingly well together! The Benedict was delicious, a bit too saucy for my liking but still very tasty - the order also came with a large amount of various colored potatoes which was a nice variety. The French Toast felt a bit denser than most French toasts, maybe the sauces haven't marinated enough into the breading? But it was still very yummy nonetheless. A couple of my friends also ordered the Healdsburg Shakshuka and the Steak Sando. The Shakshuka came on a hot plate and was very saucy in a good way. The Steak Sando was packed with ingredients and what seemed like homemade chips so that was a solid option as well. Overall, such a cute brunch place and the wait for food was not long at all. This place is super cute and I love the order first, and seat yourself concept. My husband and I ended up ordering the quinoa salad and shakshuka and we were pleasantly surprised how good everything was. I also ordered a decaf latte which was nice to have that morning :) I do wish they had a bit more variety in their menu, but I'm thinking maybe it's seasonal items? This place is fairly new, and the food looked pretty great so I decided to check it out for brunch on a Sunday morning. The place is nice and cosy. You order at the counter, get a little buzzer for your table, and find a seat. When the food is ready it'll be given to you. Nearer to the bathroom there's children's books. They have a cool swag section and cool stuff you can buy on the shelves . The staff was very friendly, and it was packed (like I said- new place. A new poppin place to eat). The food was pricy, but incredibly tasty. And the portions were fantastic . I was very happy with it. I ordered the breakfast burger, and my partner ordered the eggs Benedict . The potato's were fantastic, and the salad was exceptional- those were just the sides! The food is well worth the price, and you do get a good chunk.
