    Undercooked wings!!
    Jen H.

If there was integer on the rating scale, I would give this place a negative rating. We came here for late lunch on the 4th of July, and the service was HORRIBLE! Our White female server (red hair) was dismissive & didn't apologize when I POLITELY told her that our chicken wings were undercooked (see picture). My water glass was empty for a LONG time, and not only did they NOT fill it, but I had to ask the server. She still didn't fill up my glass. This place was deplorable - don't eat here!!

From the moment you arrive, The Burrow charms you with its covered outdoor seating -- civilized enough for adults, while also having a small play area for children. Inside, the décor strikes that rare balance of "tastefully inviting" without veering into "stock photo of a restaurant." Now, let's talk about the fries. These are not just fries. These are fries -- crispy to the point where you briefly wonder if they've achieved a new state of matter somewhere between solid and shatter. The chicken Banh Mi was excellent in every conceivable way, save for one audacious choice: the toasted roll. I'm used a softer roll is all. The spicy chicken sandwich and the burger, however, were flawless -- tender and flavorful. Service was genuinely great, and we left already plotting our return. The Burrow has earned a dedicated regular.

We chose the burrow to have dinner after a wine tasting in the area. It was very hard to choose one place to visit for dinner because there were so many nice ones in the area! When I showed my boyfriend our options, this one stood out because of the fried chicken sandwich on the menu. It did not disappoint us! It was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside with a house ranch dressing. We also ordered the crispy Brussel sprouts that had a delicious maple taste with bacon. The Brussel sprouts were crispy and soft which was the best of both worlds. I ordered the risotto verde and loved the flavors of it along with the veggies they chose to put in. I was impressed that the lemon flavor was potent throughout the dish even when I got to the bottom, the lemon flavor was consistent and refreshing, it didn't just feel squeezed on top. Before they brought us a menu for dessert, my boyfriend said if they have a cheesecake, we are getting it! They did indeed have a citrus cheesecake and we got it along with the 2 cookies. We loved the citrus cheesecake that looked like it had lemon shavings in it too. The ambiance was cute and had a homey feel to it with the fruit wall art, and the pattern chair cushions. Overall a stand out spot both in ambiance and food.

Called in last minute for a reservation for a party of 10 and The Burrow was incredibly accommodating. From the moment we arrived, the whole experience felt welcoming and easy which isn't always the case with a group that size. Service stood out the most. It was a busy lunch rush and our server was busy working the floor, things weren't lightning fast but she handled everything with a great attitude and stayed attentive the entire time. We never felt ignored or rushed, which again, is not easy with a group that size. I had the poke bowl (fresh and flavorful) and we shared a few appetizers and bottles of wine. Everything was consistently good, and the atmosphere made it even better, super inviting with a great overall vibe. Everyone had positive feedback on their entrees and apps. Overall, 10/10. The Burrow is a great addition to Healdsburg we'll definitely be back!

We came for a late lunch. They were a little understaffed so had to wait 20 minutes or so which was totally fine. Our server was super apologetic about it and was nice and attentive. The food was delicious. I had the fried chicken sandwich with fries and my sister in law had the Cobb salad. The Mac n cheese was yummy too, We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather plus the outdoor TV. Overall a great spot and look forward to coming back.

We stopped by The Burrow for an early lunch and tried the Chicken Bahn Mi and the Citrus Salad with chicken. Both the dishes had great flavors and the fries were perfect. However, both were very light on the chicken. The sandwich had about 2oz of chicken under all the toppings and the chicken in the salad was a $8 add-on for about 3oz. Disappointing for the price. The restaurant is fairly new with nice decor and an outdoor patio. Service was prompt and friendly.

This is a great lunch spot if you don't want anything too heavy. Came for a late lunch and we chose to be seated outside to enjoy the beautiful day. They were very kind and accommodating and turned on the heat lamp nearby our table. We ordered the smash burger, chicken piccante and brussel sprouts and all were delicious. Pasta came out pippin hot and chicken was not dry. The smash burger was yummy and the fries were crispy. We stayed at hotel healdsburg so it was super convenient that it was right across the street.

This is a great place to drop by for lunch or dinner if you're ever in Healdsburg. We stopped by around 2pm after wine tasting and there was no late time (probably because of when we came). There was covered outdoor seating and indoor seating. Decor was cute and service was great! They have a gluten-free menu as well for those who have dietary restrictions. I got the burger and it came with fries. Super filling and a good overall burger. Hit the spot after a bottle of wine :)

THE DRINKS: probably why "Bar" comes before "Kitchen" in the name - Gintonica - made with the bar's "featured gin" of the week (or maybe month, or until it's gone). Refreshing -- like it's supposed to be - Love Bizarre - The name certainly is. This mezcal-based cocktail with cucumber, mint, shiso and adornments is great for a summer eve. - Misspent Youth - another gin-based cocktail, but with a sweeter tilt offered up by the addition of galiano, pineapple, and coconut - think Hawaii sans rum. THE FOOD: a little hit or miss for us; maybe explore more of the menu next time - Griddled Crab Cakes* - were mushy and almost tartar-like, and the ham hock flavor overpowered the crab. Won't re-order - Mezze Plate - Best plate of the bunch; flavorful and spicy. Would do this one again - Beef Brisket Tacos* - Too salty and the brisket was tough and stringy. We've had worse experiences, but I was hoping for something more than functional. 2 1/2 stars for that. Better luck next time.

Loved the pumpkin seeds for a little crunch. Definitely the best chicken salad I've had in a long time. And nice on the bread. Lettuce could have been there or not, didn't add anything for me. Simple, effective. The turkey pesto was kind of basic, but the addition of the dill and the very fresh bread did do something for me. I think I'll be adding dill to my pesto sandos now? Anyway, solid sandwiches. Wouldn't say it blew me away and they are a bit small for a $20 sandwich, but here we are. Would come back for the baked goods and fresh breads.

The place has serious range -- breakfast, brunch, lunch, indoor seating, outdoor seating with an actual fireplace (fancy), and a friendly & professional staff. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich against my better judgment -- I usually treat deep-fried anything like a suspicious email attachment -- and it was a full personality shift. Absolutely delicious. It came with homemade togarashi potato chips, which is not a combination I asked for but is one I will now demand for the rest of my life. My dining companion got the breakfast burger, which somehow contains an egg AND hash browns INSIDE the burger, like the chef looked at breakfast and lunch and said "why not both, simultaneously, in your hand." Perfection. Structurally impressive. Emotionally overwhelming. The turkey clubhouse club also showed up and showed out -- and bonus, some proceeds go to the local Boys & Girls Club, so you can feel slightly virtuous while inhaling bacon.
