Probably the best place I've had breakfast in a while!!! The service was spectacular for it being an order at the counter then sit place. Great atmosphere for a date, family gathering or just friendly hangout. Their drinks are 10/10, initially I didn't know if it was worth it for a low alcohol drink but the 13-15$ is deserved for their amazing mixes! My very picky boyfriend enjoyed everything and even tried new things liking them as well!!!I don't want to recommend it hoping that I could keep this great place to myself, but they were already busy when I went. Even with them being busy I was able to get a table and enjoy my meal in a timely fashion. The food came faster than expected (about 15ish minutes after ordering) with how busy they were and my drink came about 3 minutes after ordering!!! I could not recommend this place more!!! read more

The place is gorgeous. Love the outdoor fireplace. The food was very pretty however, both myself and my mom thought the food was lacking in flavor. I ordered the avocado toast with poached egg. The bread they used, which was seeded rye was not toasted at all! We joked that toast was in the name, how could the bread not be toasted. The avocado mash on top was again, very pretty to look at however, needed some flavor or spice to it. We also ordered the hash brown, which was more like a deep fried waffle potato. Very greasy and very disappointing. Mom got a bagel and cream cheese, again just alright. Their matcha was good and mom liked her chai. A nice, relaxed cafe in downtown Healdsburg with a nice outdoor seating area. Got the Steak Sando and Tiramisu French Toast. The Steak sandwich was tasty and the meat was tender enough to be able to get the meat and the rest of the sandwich in the same bite. I found out about Acorn Cafe on Sonoma Magazine highlighting their Lemon Ricotta Hotcake and knew I had to come try it! Came here for a late lunch on the first day of summer. Ordered the Lemon Ricotta Hotcake and the fried chicken sando. Wow! Blown away by the lemon hotcake. It's a little thicker than your usual pancake topped with House Lemon Curd, Whipped Ricotta, Oat Crumble, and Lemon Lavender Ice Cream. Delicious, soft, fluffy and light for brunch without feeling stuffed like a typical pancake. The chicken sando was gigantic served with a side of chips. It was like a gigantic burger banh mi, tasted like one too from the sliced carrots, daikon radish, cilantro and jalapeños! It was perfect except too much house sweet soy sauce that leaked all the way on the bottom of the bun which became soggy and the dish became oily. Otherwise a great option for brunch or lunch! Yep this place has 4.5 stars for a reason!!! Went for the first time today after hearing about it from many people. You walk in and order at the counter and then pick a seat (lots of nice outdoor tables too!), which I love because you can order your food asap!!! Lots of yummy stuff to choose from on the menu!! The açaí bowl is absolutely mouthwatering, so amazing. And I also got the strawberry mimosa thing The Sunrise I think it was called and the "brekkie sando", with nice thinly sliced shaved ham, scrambled eggs on a flakey croissant, and potatoes as a side. My friends got the chicken sandwich and the Benedict and they both were very happy too!! Every thing there is so delicious! They also have a cute kids menu with crayons and some toys for kids too. Decided to check out the Healdsburg farmers market with one of my friends and we were so hungry afterwards that we decided to enjoy brunch downtown. We stumbled upon Acorn Cafe because of the vibrant decor and the outdoor seating which was packed. Inside was cute and offered additional seating. We ordered our food and I ordered the breakfast burger because it was the first thing that caught my eye. And if you know me you know I am a huge fan of brunch so the burger made sense. We lucked out on a table that became available outside and food came out in about 20-25ish minutes (reasonable for a Saturday afternoon). That breakfast burger was 10/10. I didn't event realize that there was a hash brown until I took a bite and it was perfectly crispy. That burger alone was the perfect serving size. I even split it in half. Barely touched the salad, I think I would have preferred fruits or another side instead. Nonetheless, I highly recommend and cannot wait to come back. Was sad to see the grocer here close but was excited to try this spot. It's incredibly modern and has a nice airy ambiance to it. I love that it's extremely accessible to anyone of any mobility level and pet friendly. The outdoor seating is just as comfortable as the indoor. When it came to their coffees, they were pretty good with the Dutch Cookie being my favorite to get anytime I come in. With food, I mainly stick to the Breakfast Burger. It's slightly bland but is an incredible hangover cure after a busy weekend or night. Great spot for the family to fuel up before heading out around the square. read more

I was patiently waiting on the side while my party went and ordered food. I am a terminal cancer patient and one nice lady saw me standing and asked had I gotten a table yet. I said no because we must place our order and pay first. She was so kind and said how many will be in your party I said 5. She told me to go ahead and sit at this table that it was ok she saw my party paying. Then up comes this older gentleman who chewed me out for sitting there. He very nastily asked me who told you to sit there. I was embarrassed and flustered and couldn't find the nice lady that took kind to me. I was so upset. I would have e never sat unless asked to. This other wonderful little waitress named Sylvia came by and asked if everything was ok. I told her the situation and she apologized and was also so very kind. The older gentleman waiter then came to the table and my aunt brought it to his attention that it wasn't nice the way he treated me. He proceeded to tell my aunt that he was the owners son. So does that excuse his rudeness?? He finally apologized but it was just a really bad start to a really great trip here. Your restaurant is delicious! The food was great! There was not one thing we tried that we didn't make eye contact with in utter glee upon our first bites.
