First of all the lady that welcomed us seemed like she was in a very bad mood. The lady at the register wasn't very helpful when I asked about two different meal choices. The price for two people very average about $70. We got to pick an outside seat and the same lady that welcomed us, was the same lady that gave us water and kind of slammed the water on the table. She was really in a bad mood! The food that we ordered didn't take too long at all. In all honesty the food was okay and didn't blow me away at all. I did love the potatoes but other than that, it was a place that I'd only go to once and thats it. I got the "Shop local" Benedict and my Husband got the Brekkie Sando. The bloody Mary was nasty and tasted like straight tomato and water mixed together. We will not be going back. The outside area is okay and open but way too many flies for the outside area to eat.

Although we come to Healdsburg often, we never found this cute brunch spot until this past holiday season. We happened to be driving by on the way to the Skunk Train and stopped by for lunch. There is a variety of sandwiches you can eat on site as well as a grab and go from their refrigerated section. We went for the seasonal turkey and brie served with fresh chips, both surprisingly delicious for a sandwich that I was tempted to get another to go. I had my eye on the Lemon Ricotta Hotcake topped with ice cream, yes, ice cream. Instead of butter, you get to enjoy it with ice cream slowly melting over your hotcake, making each bite heavenly. I did move the scoop to the side so it wouldn't melt as fast and I can taste the velvety ice cream on its own. Since it was the holidays, I could not resist getting a caramel apple cider which was warming without being overly sweet. With outdoor seating outside, would love to come back during the summer for leisurely brunch.

We wanted to find a nice brunch spot in Healdsburg that was open on Labor Day and came across Acorn Cafe. Overall the food was pretty good. We really liked the lemon pancakes and found that it wasn't overly sweet. The huevos rancheros tasted good but the portion size was a little small. As for the service, the waiters were all nice, the food came out fast, and the outside area was perfect for the nice weather.

If I lived in Healdsburg, I would eat here all the time. I only had breakfast, but it was enough to make me a fan. It's a very low-key place; you order at the counter, then find a table. Everyone working there was so friendly and warm, I felt like a regular. The patio is a lovely shaded place to wile away a morning with never-ending coffee refills. The "brekkie sando" was excellent, and their breakfast potatoes are about the best I've ever had. If you're in town, check it out.

I came here after constantly driving by Acorn Cafe on over the weekend and loving how cute it was outside! This is an order up at the counter then find a seat kind of place. The staff was so helpful in explaining the menu and answering any questions we had about the food available. I ended up getting the parfait which was excellent and had some really fun fruit and toasted coconuts! They had plenty of seating both inside and outside with the outside having both heat lamps and a built in fire feature. I can't wait to come back and try the Juju's menu because it also looks incredible!

A little late review. I have gone here three times and loved everything. Food is fresh and came out quickly. The lattes are amazing and the patio has a nice ambiance.

This spot was nothing to brag about, I was hesitant on what I should order so I ended up ordering a açaí bowl without banana to be safe. The açaí base was giving literal sorbet. I didn't think I would love the granola but it helped with the acai base taste, I will say the only thing that lacked was a nut butter. They also put it in this coconut bowl which was truly unnecessary because the bowl needed an additional bowl because it doesn't sit flat so the entire time it went round and round. It is also an order at the counter and fend for yourself table service.

Since taking over this space from the old Oakville Market, yesterday was my first time stepping in to Acorn (as friends wanted to go). Being GF, there aren't too many options on the menu so I passed on ordering as I wasn't in the mood for anything available. Was a decent line but moved quick. Order first then grab a seat at prepared tables. Lots of indoor/outdoor space. Servers will provide silverware, water, and buss tables once leave. Friends got some items and this is their review of the items; harvest salad- good flavoring but was expecting it to be warm, steak sandwich; steak meat should be thinner making it easy to eat but was good and came with crispy crunch chips; the beet & goat cheese salad was delicious; and the banana matcha** strawberry was not so **strawberry flavored, strong coffee. Size of orders were fair and filling for price point.

Came to Acorn Cafe and really enjoyed it! Also loved that they use the inkind cash pay system which was a nice little perk for Valentine's weekend. Boyfriend and I shared the shakshuka and the lemon ricotta pancakes - a little savory, a little sweet. The shakshuka was spot on! It was well spiced and the combination of fire roasted tomatoes, peppers, and onions was delightful! The pop of freshness from parsley and scallions was also really nice. I also enjoyed the creamy notes from the goat cheese and the special guest, pistachios. The poached eggs were cooked separate and featured the perfect runny yolk. We could have used more bread though. We had to order hash browns later on to finish the dish. As for the pancake, it was so fluffy. The lemon was evident and the fresh scoop of lavender really hammered home that farm to table freshness for me. I also really enjoyed the honey granola clusters which added a fun texture to the dish! We each got a specialty latte and both were made well. They got a nice firm foam even for oat milk so kudos to the barista! Definitely would return when in Healdsburg

Sat on the outside patio. Enjoyed a green smoothie and the eggs Benedict. The bacon was delicious!

One of the best places we ate on the way up to North to Eureka. Wish we would've stayed in Healdsburg lol. The granola was perfection. You can tell it freshly made, wasn't stale at all. The pastries were delicious. I can't remember what we got, but there was something with chocolate or chocolate chips I believe. I wish we would've eaten something like lunch. It was bustling right before lunchtime so expect to wait. I hope to go up there again and pop in.

Busy and bustling on a Saturday morning, but this place is a streamlined operation and runs quick and smooth. A line at the door and almost every table taken. Don't let that deter you and read the sentence above. One more time. *wink!* Ordered some mimosas, coffee, shakshuka and a grain bowl. HOLY HELL THIS GRAIN BOWL. 10/10. By the time we ordered, there were three open tables and my husband could stop whining about "no place to sit." Three tables fool - pick one! Aside from being busy, the food here is absolutely delicious. The grain salad bowl is my new favorite. I feel nourished but not overstuffed. Strong coffee. My husband claims the people-sighting is top-notch here (it is). Acorn is great. The lemon ricotta pancake looks amazing (!!!). We'll definitely be back.

We were only able to get a 5:15 pm reservation on a Saturday night, which was somewhat unusual because the outdoor patio and interior were only about half full. Maybe they allow for walk-ins so I suggest that if you want a later reservation like 7 pm that you try a walk-in instead. It was my husband's 67th birthday, which I indicated on the reservation, and they had a customized menu for him, birthday card, and welcome cocktail of champagne. The service was prompt and very friendly and we started with PEI mussels, served with Costeaux Sourdough Baguette (slightly charred), Poblano Peppers, Roasted Leeks, Heirloom Tomato Broth and Petite Fenne, which was hearty and really delicious ($24). The manager also provided complimentary homemade bread with a black sea salt that you could sprinkle on top, We brought a nice bottle of Robert Young cab and the corkage was $25, which is very reasonable. Husband got the prime Kobe New York steak loin ($63) and was disappointed that it was only half of a normal New York. It came with Brentwood Yellow Corn, Potato Croquette, Perigord Truffle Butter, Bone Marrow and Sauce Bordelaise. He ordered it rare and it was served appropriately. I ordered the bone in Duroc pork loin ($42) served with Yellow Wax Beans, Shishito, Bacon Jam, Parmesan Frico and Jimmy Nardelo Peperonata, which was very tasty. I should have indicated medium rare as it was a little more overcooked than I would like. The accompanying polenta cake and peppers were a delicious compliment. We decided not to have dessert, but they brought us a Snickers dessert for his birthday on the house. It came with Cocoa Tuille, Peanut Powder, Sea Salt and Burnt Caramel and was super yummy. I would definitely go back, highly recommend. The clientele in the restaurant were not super snobby and seemed like locals and regular people out for a good meal.

We were greeted with glasses of champagne, a special menu with our anniversary mentioned on the top, and an anniversary card. All of that was so special and unique which made us feel so welcome! We chose to do the "trust me" chef's dinner. It was a surprise for every dish. This was my first time trying bone marrow and now I am a huge fan. I will say the snickers style dessert was overwhelmingly sweet and I just couldn't finish it. My one problem with how they list it on the menu is "$20 per course". I didn't like thinking about how a somewhat skimpy salad equals out to $20. I think it sounds a bit better to say it's a $100 experience, which sounds like a better way to explain it. This was a fun experience and I enjoyed most of the items but I would not do this again. I feel some of the courses were a little lack luster and I would rather spend a bit more to do a different experience somewhere else.

We wanted to enjoy the nice breeze and the patio provided lots of shade. For cooler nights, it looked like they had ample heaters around the patio. I can see this place, especially the bar inside, being very lively at night. Service: Wonderful service from our server. Since it was our first time, we asked for his opinion whether or not we ordered too much or too little. He helped us tweak some items on our order and it ended up being the perfect amount of food with no leftovers and almost cleaned out plates. Each dish came out almost exactly as we finished the previous dish. Food: -Crudo (MP): 5 pieces topped with pepper and onion -Grilled Vietnamese Steak ($19): about 5 pieces on a skewers. Meat was tender and went perfectly with the sauce. The "not so sticky rice" didn't have much flavor by itself. Had to eat it with the sauce and meat. -Mushroom eggroll ($12): 3 pieces of egg rolls. Loved the duck sauce and truffle hot mustard sauce -Kimchi Noodles ($20) + add chicken ($8): the chicken served was the Pollo A La Brasa which tasted well with the dish. I enjoyed the crunch of water chestnuts. It was a unique dish with fresh noodles. For someone who likes spicy food, this didn't have much kick for me. Would order this again! I decided to get the kimchi noodles based on all the rave reviews, but thought it was only fine and a bit too oily. Perhaps I'm spoiled by Chinese noodle shops that I think do this kind of wide noodle better. I added chicken to the noodles, which is the same chicken from the pollo à la brasa dish, and it was solid. Quite crunchy and blackened but still very tender. My partner got the famed chicken tenders, which were not bad, but he found the ratio of breading to chicken a bit off (too much breading for his taste). I also really liked the fries.

But we ordered the famous goat cheese croquettes, the tempura beans, and the Chocolate Pot de Creme Brulee. Each item was absolutely delicious. Ambiance is beautiful too. Highly recommend sharing the Goat Cheese Croquettes - bite sized balls of cheese goodness, drizzled with honey and lavender. Perfection! We always get at least one seasonal Garden Salad - light and fresh! And I tried a few different main courses over our visits - all inspired and delicious: +Bucatini Pasta with broccolini, sun-dried tomatoes, chanterelles, and pine nuts +Burger (it used to be a thick and rich burger with a bordelaise sauce, but over the summer it was more of a double smash burger with cheese...very Americana, and a little "lighter" than the previous option) +Roasted Mt Lassen Trout - light and clean +Tikka Masala - I ordered this comforting dish with tofu but friends ordered it with chicken. It's flavorful, and a beautiful, bountiful presentation. Barndiva is known for their cocktails. We like our go-to classic and mezcal margaritas, but have worked our way through some of their signature cocktails, always adorned with dried fruit and/or edible flowers! If you haven't visited recently, I do recommend giving them another try. If you can't get a reservation online, call - that's worked for us! Cheers.

Single Thread…read moreRestaurant and Farm in the beautiful town of Healdsburg, CA Our experience at SingleThread on 8/26/26 was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the service was exquisite--from the attentive wait staff to the incredibly knowledgeable sommelier. Our table was beautifully decorated with a centerpiece with branches and flowers and berries that created such a warm and intimate atmosphere--and that was just the beginning! We enjoyed an incredible @ 9-course meal (it was more like 20 IG you count each AMAZING morsel of sashimi) featuring so many unique and exotic varieties of fish, each course beautifully presented and thoughtfully prepared. As a pescatarian, I requested that my entire experience be gluten-free and cheese-free, and the team accommodated my request flawlessly. I never felt like I was missing a thing; every dish was creative, flavorful, and beautifully executed! My favorites were the corn bisque and sashimi bites as well as the complex multilayer cucumber dish! I wish I could eat that every night! It was amazingggg Then came the perfect finale After our 9 courses, we were brought upstairs to the rooftop, where we enjoyed three or four different gluten-free desserts while taking in a breathtaking sunset and beautiful views of Healdsburg. It was such a magical way to end an already unforgettable evening. From the food and wine to the service, setting, and attention to every detail, SingleThread delivered an extraordinary experience from beginning to end. Truly a special and memorable evening. We were so lucky to get a reservation and enjoyed every moment of our three hour dinner! I highly recommend coming here when you're in Northern California! The staff is so kind and accommodating!!They will curate your meal around any food allergies or food intolerances. It was true gastronomic debauchery!

Our dining experience at SingleThread on September 6, 2026, was seriously disappointing. For…read morecontext, our party of four had dined at The French Laundry two days earlier, which may have heightened our expectations. That dinner was exceptional and showed us what truly outstanding hospitality can feel like. By comparison, our experience at SingleThread fell far short of the standard we expected from a restaurant of this caliber. The issues began as soon as we arrived. Despite several emails exchanged beforehand and repeated references to personalizing the experience, the staff initially got my name wrong. We were then directed to look through a small kitchen window without any explanation, context, or narrative about what we were seeing. After a few minutes, a small tea drink was served through the window, but we were then left standing in a cramped entry area for roughly 20 minutes with no meaningful interaction from the three people at the desk. During that time, we watched other parties arrive and be escorted elsewhere while no one checked in with us or explained the delay. Eventually, someone from the dining room asked whether we would like to be seated. By that point, I was already frustrated. Once seated, our server quickly described several small dishes arranged on a flower-and-moss-covered faux log, then left before we had any meaningful sense of the menu, the number of courses, or the direction of the meal. When the sommelier arrived and asked us to choose wine or pairings, I felt unable to make an informed decision because I did not know what food was coming. I ultimately chose the wine pairing simply because it seemed like the safest option given the lack of information. The service throughout the evening did not reflect what I would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. There was little storytelling, little hospitality, and very little sense that the experience was being guided with care. A server attempted to clear my plate while my fork and knife were still in my hands. Another server bumped a member of our party with a plate. Most concerning, the staff appeared to lose track of a guest's allergy and served me her plate instead. To be clear, we caught the mistake; the staff did not. That kind of lapse is difficult to overlook. We also consistently had difficulty hearing the descriptions of the dishes as they were presented, which further diminished the sense of connection to the meal. At a restaurant centered so heavily on the progression, story, and precision of each course, that lack of clear communication mattered. The food itself showed creativity, skill, and technique. There were several good courses, a few that felt unusual or less successful, and a couple of truly strong dishes, including the best duck I have had to date. Unfortunately, it was difficult to fully appreciate the food because the service failures were so distracting and so far below expectations. The one clear positive of the evening was the sommelier. He was engaging, knowledgeable, and thoughtful in discussing each pairing and in making recommendations to other members of our party. His service stood apart from the rest of the experience. We will not return. For us, the evening did not feel personal, polished, or worthy of the reputation attached to it. It felt like highly engineered cuisine paired with service that did not meet fine-dining standards. We left The French Laundry two nights earlier talking about every detail with admiration. We left SingleThread frustrated and deeply disappointed.
